[Resolved]  Sher-E-Punjab Society — This doctor is a robber

Dr. Sandhya Chokshi, who is a gynaecologist at Sher-e-punjab society Andheri(E) Mumbai, is a big robber. She is a shameless lady who is abusing the name of doctors by her practices. I went to her for my delayed periods problem. Rather than asking about the problem, first she asked me and my husband about our professions. Innocently we told her. We never suspected that she was estimating our financial position. Then, she asked me if I did the pregnancy test. I said, yes but it was negative. She said, she can't rely on my test and will do again. I said, ok. She did the P-test and it was negative. Then she said, she is not convinced and had to do a sonography for confirmation. Being a patient, I trusted the doctor and allowed her to do the sonography. The sonography room was so horrible and the machine seemed to be outdated. She did it and said no pregnancy is there, which I was telling her from inception. Then she wrote a simple tablet and gave me a bill of Rs. 3000. When I asked her about this big amount, she said these are her charges. That time one can't do anything except for paying the bill. When I asked for the sonography report, she refused to gave me. When I insisted, she said, come tomorrow, pay a thousand bucks and take the report. Everywhere, a gynacologist's fee is not more than 500 to 1000 rs. and around 600-800 for sonography with report. She is a big robber and a cheat. I suggest everybody reading this, to please beware of such robbers and please let me know where can I complain about her so that she might not continue such practices any more.
