I recently shifted to a new home in Lokhandwala, Mumbai. I dialled Eureka Forbes customer care for a new water purifier on 27/12/21 and salesman Tribhuvan Yadav was sent to my home.
He checked the TDS and suggested we buy the ‘Aquaguard Enhance 20 Watts UV+UF’ model. I made an online payment of 12, 990/- via Credit card (payment reference number[protected] and he said it’ll be installed the next day. It wasn’t. When I called him, he said it is out of stock. Then he tried selling me other higher-priced models. I said I want a refund, he connected me to his boss Dilip Singh.
Dilip apologised and said the refund will be processed to my card within 48 hours. The next day, by Bluedart courier an EF Water Purifier (Aquaguard Select Nrich UV) came to my home. I was confused as to who has sent this model as I never ordered it and Dilip had said a refund is being processed. I called Dilip and he said a mistake has been made and he’ll collect it that very day.
Next day, he collected it, I trusted him and gave the machine back as he said the refund will be processed as promised. The 48 hours passed. Dilip and Tribhuvan stopped picking up my calls.
As written on your site, I then wrote to Deepa and your CEO escalation desk thrice (latest ref number - [protected]). Each time I got a call saying they will forward my complaint to the sales team and I'll get a call within 24 hours. I didn't receive a single call.
It has been 17 days and I still haven't received my refund. This has been the worst experience I’ve had with Eureka Forbes and this tantamounts to cheating.
Eureka Forbes customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
