Hello,
Good evening!!!
This is a lengthy mail and rightly so due to the fact that i am feeling cheated and policies of your company that are questioning your own business model.
I had done some analysis and placed an order of the newly launched real me 6 pro mobile phone on your website - flipkart.com under the order number ref. Od[protected] yesterday afternoon.
This was done only after i saw a confirmed delivery promise today i. E 14th mar 20. I had an option of buying oppo f15 from your competitor where the delivery promise was today morning.
The payment was made as a combination of 4 gift vouchers that i had and the remaining amount by credit card for which i also have a confirmation.
Post the order, i kept following the portal for the shipment updates and accordingly yesterday afternoon it was shipped out to my address.
All was fine till today morning when i suddenly receive a message on my mobile number [protected] saying that my shipment was delayed and would take 3 business days to deliver. Post that i confirmed over portal and since i had an option on the same for help, i clicked it. I got a call and i explained them my concern. They were of no help and kept on repeating the same thing - we will take 3 business days to deliver with no one explaining the exact reason behind it. Then i asked for escalation and all the 2 levels (Shivani and kaiser) above the customer service agent repeated the same thing as above. After speaking with them for more than 1 and half hours, i sincerely requested them to share some senior management persons contacts which they refused saying that they were final level of escalation.
Throughout the discussion, i could see the helplessness of the people at all levels and hence they became defensive in their replies. Why have such crippled customer support who cannot even answer customer queries?
After multiple requests they told me that they would internally send an email escalation and not give me any contacts. Upon insisting they gave me the reference number as – incident in[protected] (I dont have any visibility of the current status on this incident complaint)
Post that at about 1 pm, i got a call from indore flipkart confirming that i would be receiving the package before 7 pm today.
In both the above mentioned calls, i clearly mentioned my next step – i would wait till 7 pm and if not received, i will be going to the nearest police station and giving a complaint and calling you people from there. However, due to corona scare here i am not encouraged to do that. I am marking a copy of this complaint to the cyber crime cell of bangalore police for their assistance. I am also posting this in social media for 2 reasons – there is no response from you on the delivery and also i would like to warn other customers on such fraudulent practices being adopted by flipkart.
Till the time i am typing this email i. E 8.36 pm today, i have not received the mobile phone and neither any updates. So it is clear that it is not going to be delivered today. Under these circumstances and based on my discussion with your customer care, i have decided to write this mail and pose few questions to you for immediate reply as below,
• i have given complete money to you and bought the product (Including the exchange which was evaluated by you). This was done post your promise date of delivery of 14th mar and now you seem to disown it - why?
• we trust you and place an order on your portal and your company disowns your sellers, logistics team, courier team and finally even the customer - why? Had they good connect among all, then they could have taken others into con-call and sorted out the issue.
• the seller in my case is bangalore based and i am also in bangalore. Going from one end to other or anywhere in the city is not more than 3 hrs and in this situation why you require more than 24 hrs to deliver a product in the same city - bangalore?
• when i order for an item, i make payment on your portal i. E flipkart and not to the seller, logistics person or courier person. Do i take confirmation from all as to whether they can deliver at the time and date that you people are promising to us?
• you people are in the front end and customer facing - it is basic confirmation that you people would have an understanding and agreement on the same. Is this not done in case of flipkart?
• the status that you people give on the portal for the package is also questionable and contradictory (As compared to the shipment company) – why is this?

As on e-kart website:
• what is your business model where you are not able to even trace a package and deliver in the same city for more than 24 hrs with all latest technology available at your stake – rfid, courier tracker number, ai and so on. What is the use if a customer cannot be even answered, leave alone satisfaction and delight.
Let me make a mention here – your competitor is far better and well equipped to handle customer queries. They immediately escalate internally and take people into con call, locate the product and ensure delivery on the same day of escalation (Even if seller is from another town / city). You are not even bothered about the customer.
Lastly request you not to play around with the customer beliefs. When we order something online, we place complete trust as we cannot touch and feel the product and do not have anything in hand. Still we pay 100% and keep waiting for the product fully at the mercy of you. You should not cheat customers like what you have done to me.
Now since you have not delivered today which was your promised date of delivery, i demand you to deliver the product immediately without any further delay and pay me compensation for the delay as well.
@ senior management team, flipkart – it is not good to hide from customers. You should be there in the front end to have a real feel of the service being rendered to customers. At least be accessible to customers. Presentations and board room meetings are only to please you and review internally. Please appreciate that your topline and bottom line is dependent on customers doing business with you. I am shocked at the attitude in flipkart.
@ cyber crime department, bangalore police – i am requesting your help. My above mentioned mail is very clear in terms of what i am going through as a service from flipkart and their associates. Moreover, i also feel this qualifies under 420 as cheating case as they promise one thing at time of sale and back track on the same at the time of the service delivery. I am marking it now itself because i am not getting any sort [censored]pdates from flipkart and i feel my money is lost.
Now they are telling that they will try to deliver the product by 20th mar 20
