In feb 2019, i had made two travel bookings via flipkart mobile app for air asia airline.
1. Bengaluru to indore, booking id: ff[protected]st march 2020)
2. Indore to bengaluru, booking id: ff[protected]th march 2020)
As government of india, health department advice to avoid non mandatory travels due to covid19 issue & airasia india also waives rescheduling charges on bookings till march 31, 2020, i decided to reschedule this travel for later month.
I am raising this complaint as i am not getting flipkart support even after taking much follow-up and unsuccessful tries
1. Since last 4 days starting from 14th march 2020, i am trying to reach flipkart travel desk on[protected], however this number is not reachable at all.
2. When on 17th march 2020, i have submitted the request to rescheduling the booking via flipkart mobile app. I have received the confirmation mail from flipkart stating "reschedule request received, support executive will call within 30 mins to assist with the rescheduling request.". However no response received till date
3. As i didn’t received any call & travel desk not reachable, i tried to spoke with regular flipkart customer support multiple times, however they refused to help stating that travel booking assistance is not in their scope & i have to reach flipkart travel desk on[protected] after sometime (I already highlighted that this number is not reachable at all since many days)
4. I sent mail about the issue to flipkart travel desk on [protected]@flipkart.com, however there as well no response.
5. I had conversation with air asia, however they mentioned that if i did the booking via third party website (Flipkart), so i have to follow-up with flipkart only for changing the booking.
21st march 2020 is current travel date, and i am unable to travel due to risk of health and life to me and my family. Hence in case if there would be any financial loss due to delay in rescheduling the travel from flipkart side, flipkart will be responsible of these losses.
It seems that flipkart is least bothered about their customer requirement, especially in this worldwide panic situation. Hence i am raising this seek your intervention to get the help in this regard.
