Product: apple iphone xr (Black, 64 gb)
This phone was purchased on 4th jan 2020 by my brother and it got delivered the next day. The packaging was fine, but when i opened the phone, there was a scratch on it. I raised the complaint with flipkart and they asked me to visit brand's authorized service center (Incident: in[protected]. I went to the apple service center at crown interiors mall, faridabad and they said they can't help me as it has a scratch on it and i need to contact flipkart customer care.
I again called flipkart customer care and the issue was escalated (Incident: in[protected] and promised to be resolved by 11 jan. I also raised this complaint on twitter (In[protected] so i got a response from them saying the issue will be resolve in 24 to 48 hours.
On 11th jan, flipkart's so called wishmaster came to my address to get the phone replaced, however, he denied to replace the phone as there is a scratch on it. I told him that because of the scratch only the replacement request was raised but he said he is not able to complete his checklist and left without replacing my phone.
I again called flipkart useless customer care and was promised to get the issue resolve in next two days (As always, same standard script).
Today, on 13th jan, another wishmaster came to my address and took my phone with him. After an hour or so, he called me saying that the phone is locked with a passcode and asking me the same. I told him that i never setup the phone and there is no passcode. After 2 hours, he came back to my address saying that he cannot take the phone as the phone is locked with a passcode. When i checked the phone, it was disabled for 1 hour. It happens when you put multiple wrong passcode on iphone and it locks, and that's what flipkart so called wishmaster did who doesn't know how to operate it.
I called the customer care again and as usual they created another complaint and asked me to wait until 16th jan 2020. When i denied to take the faulty phone back, the wishmaster left the phone on my doorstep and said he cannot take it and said do whatever you want to do!
First: there is a major flaw in flipkart workflow of operations where there is no sync between the customer care and logistics. It really sucks! Get into the operating model of your business and build some governance around it so that there is a proper sync between these two. Its my feedback, take it or leave it.
Second: i am without a phone for more than a week now. I do not want a replacement anymore and want you to refund my money!
