I had ordered on Redmi 8A phone for official use on behalf of my company but the order was placed in my name instead of my designation. Now my company will not reimburse me the cost of the phone unless the invoice is in my designation.
I contacted customer care & spoke over telephone, sent e-mail & even made 2 chat conversation with Flipkart representative, only to find that for a delivered order, the invoice cannot be changed.
I wanted to cancel the order & place another one with correct details but refund option was not available, only replacement was available; that too if done will be on the same invoice.
All I wanted the invoice to be in the name of my designation instead of my name. Copy of invoice attached.

Sorry to inform you that the seller is not able to make any changes to your invoice once your order gets placed.If you still wish to change your invoice details than I request you to cancel your current order and place a fresh order. Updated by endee.emess Thank you for your response. The product that I had purchased is a Smart Phone (Electronics Item). As per the return policy I found that refund option is not available against that product, only replacement available. But according to the chat conversation that I had with Flipkart Customer Care on 20.01.2020 (the day I received the item), the replacement, if opted for, will be in the same name as per earlier invoice.
However, I have raised a return request which is under process. I shall update if it gets approved & thus I can purchase the item with the correct name (designation) in Invoice. Thank you.

Updated by endee.emess The request for return (refund) vide return id:[protected] was rejected by Flipkart stating the information as follows:
"We'd like to let you know that your return request could not be fulfilled by the seller as the reason selected by you while raising the return request was incorrect.Please create a new return request with the right reason so that the seller can assist you with this."
Now, the reason as in my case (change of name in invoice) is not listed in the 'Reason for Return' drop down menu nor in 'Reason Details' drop down menu. So, I had to search for an option where refund is available as the Flipkart Customer Care Representative had already informed me that if I choose replacement of the product, the main (initial) invoice details will not be changed & thus my prime issue will not be resolved.
So, I provided the details (selecting from drop-down menu) as follows:
Reason for Return: Received Wrong Item
Reason Details: Description in Website is Wrong
Comments: Please refund as I have to change the name in Invoice.
But this return request has been rejected by Flipkart.
However, I have again raised another return (refund) request vide Return Id:[protected] as on 27.01.2020, as the issue has still not been resolved but this time I have provided all the detailed explanation (my requirements) in the comments section for their (including the seller's) better understanding. I have also requested them to provide a prompt reply as the Return Period (last date: 30.01.2020) is going to get over soon. I shall be updating the details as & when available. Screen-shots of Rejection Mail & 2nd Return Request have been uploaded with this comments. Thank You.

Updated by endee.emess I have received one mail from Flipkart today (30.01.2020) confirming that my return (refund) request has been accepted by them & by 31.01.2020 they are going to pick up the shipment followed by refund of the amount within 2 business days onto my Bank A/c. Once all the transactions are over, I shall mark the complaint as resolved. Thank you very much to this entire forum team & a special thanks to Flipkart team for their understanding & resolving this issue.
