I purchased an Apple AirPods Max from Flipkart on 3-June-2022. It was delivered to me on 4-June-2022, however the invoice which I received from Flipkart did not have a serial number. I made a complete video of opening the box and straight away checking the serial number on the brand box on the brand support page. I was not able to validate the serial number, so I asked the brand customer support team to check if the serial number has 1 year warranty as mentioned on Flipkart's website.
Upon checking my invoice, Apple has refused to provide any warranty until there is an invoice provided by Flipkart that has the serial number which is present on the brand box.
I am requesting Flipkart to either provide me with an updated invoice which has the right serial number clearly mentioned so I can provide it to the brand and confirm my product is covered under 1 year manufacturer warranty.
Flipkart customer support team is just delaying my request by forwarding it to some internal team which no one can talk to directly. I request Flipkart to urgently resolve the issue or kindly pick up the product and refund my money.
When I am purchasing a Rs 60, 000 headphone, I expect a hassle free experience and delivery of complete goods with warranty from Flipkart. Failing to do so should be punished aptly by law.
Serial number and invoice number is confidential and cannot be shared here on public forum, but the same is shared with the support teams of both Flipkart and Apple.
Flipkart customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Updated by shubhamgulati91 Flipkart has asked me to wait for 7 days for some internal team to get back on the issue. This is their common way to delay solving the problem to the time where the product has crossed a 10-day time period, upon which the product is no longer eligible to be returned no matter what.
Many customers have suffered because of this, and I did not think I would have to go through the same problem. But time and again, Flipkart has proven me wrong, which is why I do 99.9% of my purchases from the other bigger and better ecommerce player.

Updated by shubhamgulati91 By 13-June-2022, my order would have completed the 10-day time, as it was placed on 3-June-2022. And hence, there will not be any resolution afterwards. So, I urge a prompt action in this matter. Either provide invoice with serial number, or else provide a refund for the purchase and take back the product.

Updated by shubhamgulati91 I tried to contact Apple Support, sent them the original invoice received from Flipkart and they rejected it and asked me to upload valid bill with matching serial number, only then they can take some action from their end. Hence the warranty as of now is void and null.
