1. Product (iphone 12 - 128 GB) ordered on 3rd October and the product was scheduled to be delivered on October 14. Online status of order showed – it has reached nearest hub dated 11th October, 2021.
2. My first call to customer care goes on 14th October and enquired about not receiving any Out for delivery message. Customer care requested to wait for 1 more day.
3. Next call to flipkart customer care goes on 15th October and they again requested to wait for 1 more day.
4. On October 16th I received a message that escalation team is looking after this request and will provide resolution by 21st October.
5. On October 18th I again called flipkart customer care to enquire about the current state and the customer care assured that the product has reached the nearest hub and I'll be delivered the product in a day or two. The maximum wait time will be till 21st October.
6. On October 19th, the first message I received that our team has resolved your issue and hope you are happy with the resolution without informing anything.
7. Later, I received another message that the product has been cancelled due to multiple attempt delivery failure and the refund has been processed which should be reflecting by 27th October in your source payment method.
8. Also deducted the charge of Rs.100 which was the fee for replacing the old product. No one from flipkart delivery/ escalation team ever visited/called even once for delivery.
Is this the way a responsible e-commerce company works? This needs to be escalated at the highest level. The company is highlighting about big sales through innumerable channels and at the end wasting customer's time, energy and ending up closing the order giving false reason. Deduction of Rs.100 is morally wrong and shows the company’s way of working and the total disconnect of what a customer has to go through, total disconnect between customer care, escalation team and delivery team and closing the order stating false reasons.
I can no more believe flipkart for ordering big products after going through this experience.
