There is an exchange program offered by Flipkart where they provide an exchange discount of Rs 1, 500/- for any smartphone provided that phone is in Working condition and if it has any dents, scratches or screen issues then Rs 1, 000/-. I opted for this and at the time of delivery the delivery personnel just asked which phone I informed him the particulars and simply said this is not eligible for exchange and rejected it. Neither did he check imei no, whether phone working or not, nothing and provided a false claim that the phone’s battery was swollen. First of all that isn’t a guideline stated in Flipkart exchange guidelines, secondly even if that was the case I should have been eligible for the reduced minimum exchange amount of Rs 1, 000/- I have been reaching out to Flipkart for this and simply those people are saying if I had paid the amount of exchange discount at the time of delivery and accepted the new product as per guidelines the seller won’t arrange for a pickup. At the first instance the exchange guidelines itself was not followed and now they are coming up with these resolution.
Flipkart customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
