Ordered a Hisense 411 L Frost Free Double Door 2 Star (2020) Refrigerator (STAINLESS STEEL, RT488N4ASB2) on the 27/01/2021, which got delivered on the 30/01/2021 evening.

The installation took place at night on the 01/02/2021 by technicians. We noticed the next morning that the fridge was not cold at all and the food items spoiled. At this point the freezer was working fine. Reported the problem to flip kart and asked for a replacement if it cannot be fixed by a technician visit as required by flip kart under the 10 days replacement policy.
1. First technician came and checked the unit on the 04/02/2021 and found the temperature to be -7 for freezer and 16 for fridge
He then commented that for the fridge to be cold the freezer needs to be set to 2/5 and the fridge should be 7/7. This did not make sense to us and when informed flip kart customer service they also said this is wrong and the temperature was well off the recommended refrigerator temperature.
2. Second technician came on the 05/02/2021 who also checked the unit for hours and said something is not right and that he will report back to flip kart
3. Flipkart then send another technician saying need more details
4. 3rd technician visit on the 08/02/2021 who came in the evening and again spent hours and found that the compressor was tripping and said he will post the findings to flip kart, at this point he had unscrewed things etc to check the fridge and also said that flip kart want him to check the pcb circuit boards which he will need to remove compressor etc and takes long time
5. Contacted flip kart again who said need further checks to be done and need to send another engineer
6. Contacted flip kart on 09/02/2021 who said engineer is on other jobs and will need to postpone for 10/02/2021 before they can do a replacement.
Overall, so must disgusted and unhappy and frustrated with the flip kart customer service
1. The FDA recommended refrigerator temperature is 4 degree Celsius for fridge and -18 degree for freezer, this can be found on other manufacture websites as well
2. This is a brand-new product with clear fault so really annoyed of the number of technician visits required to confirm and issues
3. This again was requested for a replacement under the 10 days replacement policy but what currently happening is a warranty repair process
4. Believe this is a breach of consumer act and any replacement policies
5. Why should a customer have to deal with a faulty product and with technician dismantled a brand new equipment which should have been replaced under the selling policy of flip kart
6. Given the weather a refrigerator is an important and integral part of any Indian family we already had so many food products spoiled because of the faulty product
7. To have 4 technician visits to confirm and issue and get a replacement is crazy and not customer friendly at all for a brand new product.
