I booked FORD Ecosport Titanium Automatic petrol on 28.12.2020. FORD have stopped this variant from 4th of January 2021. now the dealer and Ford representative who talked to me asked me to take Titanium+ Ecosport Automatic Petrol. So I wanted to know what do they offer for the people who booked Titanium AT petrol? if the variant have stopped, is not that FORD responsibility to offer an offer to help us buy the next variant for those who already booked?

FORD dealer says FORD should decide on that and Ford representative says that it is marketing strategy to get bookings and last minute stop the variant and make the customer go for another variant.

Could you please help me on that.

    Dear Ford India,
    I am Venkat...purchased BS6-Freestyle Titanium Ford Freestyle 1.2L(Vin- MAJGXXMTKGLR56202), petrol MT on May2020 registration number KA51MP4228.

    I have raised following my support request morethan 4 times, but FORD india customer relationship center
    ([protected]@ford.com)
    Mr.Gopinath.D is just closing the ticket by single line answer (""NOT VIABLE"")without any valid explanation..

    Before proceeding to LEGAL action against FORD cheating and misinformation I would like to post here and social media in coming days...

    This mail is regarding Fog lights, it was noticed that many freestyle Titanium BS6 owners are getting Fog lights fitted from Dealer, but where as my dealer mentioned my particular car doesn't have wiring for fog lights fitting, but how come freestyle BS6 titanium cars purchased from other dealer have?
    Here I am attaching reference screenshots.

    I feel I have cheated by dealer and Ford as while purchasing dealer said it can be fitted from SC, but later said your particular manufactured batch doesn't have wiring..

    I wonder if FORD thinks they don't care customer safety where consumer didn't get fog lights wiring because of FORD mistakes...

    Here I want to understand technically why the fog light harness is not feasible to my VIN MAJGXXMTKGLR56202,
    Please reply to following points to understand in detail.

    1) From last 10 years I'm in Car infotainment and cluster development for diffrent OEMS and in general the Harness from supplier is received common for any car model all variants, why the harness has missed for my VIN?
    2) HOW the freestyle BS6 cars purchased from other dealers along with me has received the wiring, when I was booked car dealer said can be fitted post delivery ..but after that said your VIN doesn't have wiring is it not FORD mistake?
    3) as a variant I can understand fog lights not fitted from factory or some features enabled/disabled, but as a consumer I have right to fit from FORD service center with additional cost, but how FORD has missed the wiring and concluded not feasible.. whether is this mentioned in any documents/manuals wiring not given and not feasible?

    4) i have paid same amount like other people whomever purchased Freestyle Titanium BS6, then why I have to take with missing wiring because of Ford mistake

    I request FORD to please correct Or recall and provide fog lights wiring for my car as other cars got same while delivery..

    Else please allow me to install from third party without loosing/ void warranty as it is FORD mistake.

      I have attached the receipt
      At first they gave estimated delivery date on[protected]
      Later they postponed it for[protected]
      Now they are saying they can't deliver untill march

            Address: Bhagat Cars Pvt. Ltd. 53, Industrial Area-2 Chandigarh-160002.

            Following is submitted that:

            1. That I am using the product of Ford Company namely Ford Ecosport bearing registration no. CH-01-BH-1035.

            2. That when I was going on the road in the aforesaid vehicle i.e. Ford Ecosport on 10.10.2020 from the Tribune Chowk, Chandigarh, my car met with an accident at the Tribune Chowk, rendering the vehicle so damaged that it was in no position to move.

            3. That thereafter, I called the tow company and delivered the car at your nearest service centre.

            4. That on dated 11.10.2020 when I met your representative at the service centre, whereby the representative verbally told me that the delivery date of the vehicle is 31.10.2020 stating the reason that the parts of the car are needed to be ordered from the company as they were out of stock but at the same time the addressee cheated me by mentioning some other date of delivery i.e., 10.12.2020 instead of 31.10.2020.

            5. That when I contacted the service centre on the due date of delivery i.e., 31.10.2020 I was given a new date i.e., 03.11.2020 owing to some pending repairs.

            6. That further, you had informed me that the car body was repaired but I was also later on informed that the car will not move owing to some clutch damage and that the same is not covered under the insurance policy.

            7. That as I was in need of the car owing to some family function therefore, I resistantly asked the representative to do the needful to deliver the car in proper deliverable state.

            8. That the car was thereafter repaired and you had asked for Rs. 3955/- (Rupees Three Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Five Only) on account of Repair Charges in Body Work and Rs. 12, 451/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand Four Hundred Fifty One Only) on account of clutch repair which was duly paid by me.

            9. That though my car was insured bumper to bumper cashless and PAN India vides Policy No.[protected] dated 01.08.2020, but still the tyre of the driver side which was also damaged was not replaced by you under the insurance policy.

            10. That when the delivery of the car was made to me, I went to have wheel alignment of his car where I founded that you had cheated me again by not replacing my car's damaged alloy wheel while the car was with you for repair of accidental damages, rather you had cleverly placed the damaged alloy wheel and tyre at back of car in place of the spare tyre & alloy wheel and placed the spare alloy wheel & tyre at the place of actual damaged tyre & alloy wheel.

            11. That thereafter, I approached to the concerned authority of the service centre to replace the alloy wheel and tyre because the same is also covered under the insurance policy. But neither any action has been taken nor they had given the satisfactorily reply to me.

            12. That I have also mentioned of this defect in services in your feedback call but still no efforts have been made to rectify the same.

            It is therefore most humbly requested to do the needful to rectify the same

              Hi,

              We had sent our Ford Figo(model: 2012) to ford service centre shimoga as the engine light was turning on(blinking) and the vehicle was jerking. On initial inspection they said 1 injector was faulty then later they came out to us saying we need to replace 2 injectors.

              After they replaced both injectors, we got the jerking again even before leaving shimoga city(lass than 5 km). We contacted the ford service centre, but they asked us to drive it for few days and check if we're getting the same issue again. We observed there was black smoke from exhaust at times. After driving for about 300 km the engine light started blinking again and car started jerking. Again we've dropped the car off for repair.

              Now they're saying 2 more injectors are faulty again and we need to replace them.

              Now we're doubting the quality of service at the ford service centre in Shimoga or this is the issue with ford motors itself. We've already paid 26, 812 rupees for the first service. I don't know how 2 more injectors became faulty just after 300kms of service. We have 2 mahindra company vehicles which we've run over 1 lakh kms, still we never faces problems with fuel injectors. I don't know how all 4 injectors can be faulty after running just 36000 kms. This is just outrageous.

              I really hope someone would look into this as I'm totally not satisfied by the service provided by the ford service centre.

                I bought Endeavor 3 years ago in January 2018. For more than one year there is a rattling sound in the front wheel. I've been complaining about it at bhagat ford dehradun ( which is now yesh ford) ever since bur they are enable to rectify it till date. 3 months ago there was another issue regarding the lift gate. The right side piston of the lift gate came off its socket. I've to fix it back manually to operate it but it comes off again. Now its damaging the body where it comes off and hit. I've been complaining and initially the said that they are talking to the company to fix it but later they said that they can contribute only 20% of its cost and I have to pay the rest. I've extended warranty till jan 2022.
                You are requested to please look into the matter and resolve it asap.

                  Hi,
                  My 4 year old FORD ECOSPORT (Titanium) met with a major accident on 29th Dec 2020 @ 4PM on Bangalore to Hyderabad Highway. While overtaking a truck on the highway, the truck driver lost control and suddenly came to my line, and I was forced to go and HIT the left side cement pillars on the highway and that was a major accident, but both the AIR BAGS were not deployed, which is very unfortunate.
                  My vehicle is currently in "Vibrant Ford Body shop", Balanagar, Hyderabad, where my vehicle is being inspected by the Insurance company for further processing.

                  This is a serious Safety question/concern about the AIR BAGS that are being offered by FORD for which we are asked to pay extra price while purchasing the vehicle. What is the use of selecting costly cars with safety features which are found to be faulty and/or dummy.
                  We are in that trauma post accident and still recovering.

                  My car registration number: KA03MY4302 and attached are the images of the car post accident and I'm willing to provide any additional details that you may require.

                  Note: Seat Belts were ON at the time of accident

                    The said complaint no. [protected] is register on[protected], but till it is not resolved and i am not getting any response from ford representative on this...
                    the TN22DP4457 vehicle is given service to Chennai Ford _ Arumbakkam on[protected] for claiming warranty on it is laying there more than 20days...
                    requesting you to interact on this and resolve issue asap please.

                      I have given my Eco sport vehicle for service at Cauvery Ford Magadi road. This time service is very poor. after service put hand brake in slop road also vehicle is slipping. vehile packed at office premises and evening found full fog developed in side the vehicle and fog is not clearing. while switch on AC then fog is developing again. once all full rubbed with cloth and start driving full glaring form the glass. Felt very difficult to drive yesterday night. this is the first time happened like this. Hand brake issue informed immediate after servicing

                        Dear sirs.
                        ford India 2nd Reference ID: [protected]. dated 28.12.2020.
                        I dropped my car to OKhla service center on 26th December.Estimated cost was Rs.1475& delivery was same day.
                        Total Car KM done near by 60000 KM in 3 years. Due to Corona 19 pandemic & my age 62+ I drive 16 KM a day. so on 25th December i drove about 8 Km & stop car for 5 minute then i had to go back so i tried to start but engine could not start.
                        i called service station for help but they advised to send car in service center.
                        Regarding above i received phone call this morning from service advisor that they need to change whole car wiring due to short circuits. OH my god...
                        If short circuit possible in ford car that in 8 to 18d temperature ???
                        if so i dont want to use ford car again in my life & will advise to my all friends that never buy & use Ford car its danger for our life.

                          We purchased my Ford car (MH05DH1998) in 2017. Me and my family met with an accident on 28-Dec-2020 near Narayangaon.

                          We call for Ford road assistance service to tow our car till Dombivali. Ford person said the towing car will be available in 45 mins so we immediately paid Rs.10200 to the team (Receipt proof available). After the person said it will be available after 2.5 hours. After 2 hours when we tried to connect with team and driver (Himalaya towing service), they said it will take 4.5 hours. Two ladies, one child, one differently abled senior citizen was travelling. We still waited in the remote area till 6.30 pm in the evening. Later the driver and Ford person did not pick up the call.
                          We asked the ford person to connect with driver but they failed to do so. Eventually due night curfew, looking at female and child safety and no response availed from FOrd, the request was canceled. Ford employee said that they will refund Rs. 10200.
                          Since morning I have followed-up several times with Ford but no response.

                          I am very disappointed with Ford service. I want to escalate this issue with higher team.
                          Could you please refund my money asap.

                            Severe Oil consumption at 70000kms

                            I am a ford ecosport user, my vehicle is driven 70000kms and is maintained at a deler facility always.my vehicle in now consuming oil through the intercooler and company is asking to pay for a engine overhaul.now what is the point in having a ford vehicle if we have to get a engine overhaul at 70000kms.
                            It is a serious issue and the company should address it....

                            I own a 2017 model 4x4 Endeavour bearing registration number HR51BR9999, which is under extended warranty.
                            4th October'2020 - I sent my car for servicing at Pahwa Ford (20/1, 21/1, Mathura Rd, Block A, DLF Industrial Area, Sector 27C, Faridabad, Haryana 121003). And highlighted the concern of all the Alloy Wheels showing strange micro-crack marks.

                            5th October'2020 - I picked my vehicle back after service from the Service Manager (Mr Visheshank Yadav - [protected]). He informed me that they tried rubbing the Alloy Wheels, but problem could not be resolved. He said that he will mail to Chennai Plant.

                            8th October'2020 - A person from Pahwa Ford came with a liquid that he applied on the Alloy wheels, but that did not solve the problem either.

                            9th October'2020 - 1st December'2020 - I had series of conversations with Mr Visheshank, in which he informed me that he is coordinating with Chennai Plant. And I'll have to send 1 Alloy wheel to the plan for inspection. And he will call me to drop the Alloy Wheel and a standby Alloy Wheel would be provided. However, I did not get any call for him for dropping the alloy at their service centre. Even after repeated follow ups, he did not give me a solution. Every time I was told that, coordination is being done.

                            1st December'2020 - I asked him to provide the number of his senior as my concern was not appropriately being attended to.

                            3rd December'2020 - I called Ms Manjeet ([protected]), who Mr Visheshank informed is his senior. Ms Manjeet told me that there is no need to send the Alloy Wheel to Chennai Plant as they have assessed the concern on photograph itself and would not cover under warranty.

                            Resolution that I expect - I want the 4 alloy wheels to be replaced as the micro-cracks have developed due to manufacturing fault and the vehicle is under extended warranty.

                              I was reported my car for second service at 0900 clock at Port Blair ford service centre but the car was not serviced and not even maintained by the service centre, and when I contact to them about my car service they did not respond my call. However, I contact to my agent there he given the mobile no.of some person who work in service center. Accordingly, I contact him he informed me that the car is on test drive and not had being washed. There after when I reached service centre at 1730 hrs for recieving of my car there they said that your car was alignment is not correct as they were rectifying.
                              Sir, I want state that have they have the responsibility of conveying the status of the customers car if the responsible service center station has not taken responsible the due time of service they have been responsible from for it.
                              They have charged me for payment for their work from me and asked me for it. It is totally wrong for charging about unsatisfied of their work and one point has to be state that one staff if their has been under the influence of alcohol. And finally they intentionally asked me to sign the customer satisfaction form in which they stated that I satisfied from their service.
                              Sir, Finally, I want to say that if my complaint has not being taken in seriously I will go to consumer court for their irresponsible behaviour and illegally collection.of charges.

                                I have a complain regarding servicing the car in one of your servicing center . It was observed that one of the spark plug get missed every 3 months and a sound was heard from engine but the service center was unable to diagnose the sound and i was asked to drive for few more days, it went on for 2 years but the service center failed to diagnose .                                   I have handed my ecosport to service centre to pahwa ford faridabad . At the time of collecting my car I have seen there is a dent and many scratches on left side of my car when I complaint about that issue they said we haven't put that dent it's from your side. Worst service centre . Worst car company

                                    Key is not decteching and i have purchased in 2019 and car has been runned 15000 km and i want each and every thing to be check and company will claim me each and every thing
                                    and major issue is that i have purched from adiv ford vashali and they are saying that u have to go gaziabad adiv ford service center . this is my second time im visted their and they not able to satisfie the coustomer and who will give the fuel expense and towing also

                                    and i need the reply as soon as possible .
