the car is over all good but mileage problem only 10-12 km/lt diesel and the dealer is saying it will give 24-25 km/lt . We have complained so many times but they are ignoring me and can t try to understand anything.

    this is to bring into your notice that
    i have bought a ford figo on 24 th feb 2011 from kairali ford- karikode-kollam-kerala.
    At the time of purchase i was committed a free sunfilm, but very sorry to say that even after repeated calls over the last 5 months .,i am not yet provided with one.
    they keep on extending the dates,.

    just note that if they commit to call bak ... forget it..theyll never call bak...
    kindly take this into notice and provide me a solution asap , failing which i will be forced to move legally.

      Rusting of Axle and other parts

      Bought a new Ford Figo Diesel on 6/6/11.Took for first service last week and was shocked to see condition o[censored]nderbody.Both Axles,Front Discs,Knuckles and multiple parts are badly RUSTED.Updated dealer and he said FORD is aware of this and term this as NORMAL.Taking the matter to consumer court for full refund of value paid and damages for inconvenience.
      Request all FORD FIGO customers to get their vehicles inspected for RUST.All cars...

      Respected Sir,
      I would like to inform you that,I had purchased a FORF FIGO(TITANIUM) car from GANGES FORD,KOLKATA(W.B) on 25/03/2011. As per sale agreement showroom(GANGES FORD) promised to arranged to get SMART CARD from motor vehicle and Money has been taken for this. But now they refuse to do.
      As per GANGES FORD advised car was produced on 18/05/2011 for first free service and they made the list that the following jobs to be done.
      1. Replace eng.oil,oil filter,air filter.
      2. Make-up all lub.oil.
      3. Antirust treatment (Bottom)
      4. Rear side noise,wiper noise front check-up.
      I had paid Rs 7460/ (Seven Thousand and sixty only) for the jobs.At the time of delivery( after 7 days),I had seen nothing was done,not even properly cleaned the bottom.I surprised that my car’s all four wheel changed with old ones.I had legal evidence for that .I never thought ,this was happened by one of the reputed ford service centre.
      Therefore,I will be highly obliged to you,if you take necessary stringent action against them within short time.

      N.B:- I will appear in court,if you not taken stringent action against GANGES FORD.

        I am a manager in steel plant located at angul , approx 100-120 kms away from bhubaneswar .Ford sales persons impressed that FORD figo is car of the year and secondly will provide good service related and also looks of car is very good. Thus had just purchased ford figo from Capital ford bhubaneswar just 35-40 days back.On 9th of this month-July ,my car was touched by a dumper from non drive side due to which front wheel steel portion got damaged and scratches appeared in that side front door and also my first servicing was due i.e 2400 kms was completed. Now to get my car repaired, Ford does, not have pick up assistance available (initially after every 2 days there sales persons were coming to me for getting ford figo purchased). I have to travel 100 km approx to bhubneswar CAPITAL FORD Showroom. Thus it requires min 2000 rs petrol & other expenses ( To & Fro ) and most important i have to spare time ,take leave for 2 working days -For depositing & for pick up .(My per day cost to company is 3000).
        Finally given to capital ford first service + repair. On 11th July... And today is 20 th july .Every day i m chasing them, they say that car will be ready by tomorrow. Here the question is when that tomorrow will come, they gave some excuse. Finally conclusion is i m regretting myself for the decision of purchasing ford figo car .Now not a single ford persons are interested to get my car serviced on time. There is no value for money, main problem that they dosen't have proper service centers & if you found any one, its is big project for geting serviced / Repaired on time.

        This is my experience i m sharing with all. Please before purchase a car. Go through all these issues .otherwise ultimately u will regret like me and have no option left just to spend money & time for these branded junks.

        I request to ford figo to get my car repaired on time and try to improve their service and customer relationship for bright future.

          sir,
          i ,Alok khatri, purchased ford figo on 27 oct 2010 from gahlot ford, Ajmer . Unfortunately the car was accidented on 22 jun 2011 and i droped the car at your Ajmer workshop . The dealer and workshop manager commited me to call on the process of dismentaling when the surveyor will come but after my several reminders they dismental the car in my absence . I ask them why they were not call me ,they say we have no. of customers and can not manage to call everyone, then i ask them how much estimate is going to be occured , they say we can not tell before compelete work but roughly your part will around thirty thousand and they assure me sir , you need not to worry we know how to manage insurance people. They commited to hand over the car with in fifteen days , i went to workshop many times but they never told me which part they are replacing and my contibution part after asking many times.Yesterday they call me and say that the total billing is Rs. 2.28 lacs and your part is arround Rs. 1.05 lacs .Is this the process ????????? . After selling the car the attitute of dealer has changed now he has no time to call and tell them because he has no. of customers. Kindly tell me my pcm no which were originally fitted in my car. Kindly look into matter and do the needful . Waiting for your posutive responce.

            Greetings!!!

            This is my forth vehicle (earlier 2 Maruti and one Hyundai Getz) and this time I thought let me go thru a world class brand. And in Punjab, at this point of time Figo is doing good.
            Unfortunately with me, its all together a different story. I bought a new Ford FIGO (PB 08 BS / 6968) on 20 Nov 2010 from A.B.Motors (Bhagat Ford) and after my 1st service I found the vehicle has started showing some problems. On 25 Dec 2010, there was heavy problem with the Pick up and I was told that there's a problem with the software and that was corrected. 2nd Service was carried out on 19 Mar 2011 and there was no problem at all.
            This time again after the service I realised that there's some problem with the pick up and called up dealership but no guidance / response. Now these days I was again feeling pick up problem and showed the vehicle to the Service Advisor. I was shocked to hear that the clutch plates are to be replaced and I was informed that either the quality of plates or quality of drive is at fault. For last 5 years I am driving and never had such problem with my earlier vehicles. The vehicle is still lying at the dealership.
            The vehicle is under warranty and I request you to replace the bad parts FOC U/W.

                BRAND NEW CAR FORD FIGO PURCHASED ON 1.12.2010 AND COMPANY HAS COMMITTED THE MILEAGE OF 21+KM/PER LITER

                BUT AFTER SIX MONTHS AND TWO SERVICES THE DEALER OFFICERS ARE UNABLE TO GET THE MILEAGE MORE THAN 15.2 KM/PER ON DATED 9.7.2011 AT BHAGAT FORD PATIALA.

                  Hi,

                  I have booked the ford figo on 22 Jun at fortune ford tolichowki. At the time of booking they promised to me it will delivered with in 2 weeks but i requested them to deliver on 10th July which is more than 2 weeks what they promised. My car loan also approved but just before days of 10th july they called and said it will take two to three weeks more .

                    This is to inform you that I had purchased a new FORD FIGO (Diamond White) bearing registration number RJ14 CM 2116 on April 16, 2011 from K.S. CARS (P) LTD. After around 10-15 days I noticed that the colour of the Right Hand Side Front Door is different from the rest of the car colour. As soon as I noticed, I informed my problem to the Dealer. For about 2 weeks they misguided me and tried to evade the issue. But later when I pressurised them, on June 22, 2011 they gave me in writing that a representative from FORD INDIA LTD. will come on July 2, 2011 and inspect the car.
                    The representative from Ford India Ltd., Mr. Amol Chauhan (Asian Paints) inspected the car for about 3 hours on July 2, 2011. He unofficially told us that the car is accidental and repainted. He told us that he will not be able to give anything in writing because he has to abide to certain rules and criteria, and also FORD INDIA LTD. being one of their big client, he cannot do so. He told us that after the accident, at the time of repaint, the company could not manage to match the colour properly, which led to such a difference.


                    The officer, Mr. Deepak Nagraj, on behalf of the President told us that we should have first checked the car and then purchased. So I would like to ask the Company that had I purchased the car from a scrap dealer or the dealership. I suppose it is obvious that when a dealership is dealing in new cars there would be no scope, of it selling an accidental piece. So why would a customer check the car before purchasing. And if FORD INDIA LTD. feels it necessary that its customers should check the car before purchasing then I think its really shameful on their part. And if so they should have told us to check It, before selling, not now when they have been accused of selling an accidental car.


                    It’s been almost two months that we have been suffering from this issue, earlier when we informed the dealership about our grievance, they told us not to drive the car till the matter is solved. So for about a month and more we did not drive the car. And later on July 2, 2011 they asked us to drive the car confidently. What does this mean? Is the consumer a fool? Probably the Officials are trying to misguide us in order to evade the issue. Having owning a car we couldnot drive it for so long, and suddenly they told us to drive.




                    On July 2, 2011 when I had a phonetic conversation with respected Owner of K. S. CARS (P) LTD., Shri Kishore Singh Gehlot regarding the issue, he told me that why am I taking such a small accident so seriously and making it a issue. He told that he would easily get the door replaced from the company and get a paint job done, and even if some difference is there it really does not matter. So I would like to tell him that it would be a small accident and a issue for him but for a customer who has paid full price for a new car cannot accept it as a small issue, it is a real big one.



                    Also on July 5, 2011 when we visited K.S. CARS (P) LTD. for getting the answer to our letter, respected Director Shri. Arun Singh Gehlot told us that why are we getting to tensed in a car of just 5-7 Lacs, why are we troubling ourselves for a car of such a small amount. So, I would like to tell that even 6 Lacs is a very big amount for me. It really does not matter to me whether this amount seems small to Shri. Arun Singh Gehlot or someone else.



                    I would just like to ask the officials that had I paid price of a new car or a repainted accidental car? If I would have paid one-fourth of the price of a new car, then the Company by doing so would be right on its part. But when I had paid the full price why has the Company delivered me an accidental car.



                    And is it in the warranty policy of the Company to sell its customers a repainted accidental car and on its mistake ask the consumers to get satisfied just by getting it repainted. Why will the consumer compromise when he has pais the full price.

                    This is a perfect case of cheating and fraud on the part of the Company and the Dealership.



                    The Company cannot even imagine about the consumers loss and mental strength they have to bear.


                    I really think that the Company has made such big money and profits by cheating its customers, giving them old accidental cars in the name of new cars.

                    I cannot forget such a big loss, such a amount might be small for the Company and the Dealership, but it is very valuable for me.



                    I hope you can help us to get justice.

                      My Ford Ikon was showing over heating for which i took it to NCR Ford Faridabad service center. They changed some fuse and next day handed over the car . Same day the car started heating once again. I was asked to tow my car to gurgaon service center where they changed the fan. After a month i faced same problem. When i took my car to NCR ford , Faridabad , i was told they couldnt repair the car and that i have to tow my car to NCR delhi (Disgusting). I took my car to NCR ford and they said head of my car is damaged (because of shoddy workmanship) and it would cost 45 k.I gave my permission to change the same but now 50 days have passed by and the service center is still waiting to recieve the spare part from chennai where also they say its unavailable ( where else then i get spare?, why is ford selling car in india if they do not have spare parts ?). I wrote back to their president desk , complaining about the poor service and unavailability of the spare. And guess what , i got the reply stating that we are working with our dealer and as soon as they get the spare my car would be repaired.
                      Bottom Line : " Ford has a major issue with spare part availability and service quality of their dealers despite having gr8 cars " . I would recommend all prospective ford users to stay away from ford cars. Go for the time tested Maruti or Hyundai.

                      Dear sir. I regret to inform u that I have purchase a Ford figo last yr September . 10 days ago my figo was showing me AC was not working for which I took it to noida Ford sec 63 Noida the service advisor Hement ask me the pipe of AC is leaked so it will be change but part is not available in our service centre we will order to Ford than 2 and 3 days it will be come than we will change but now 10 days has been gone but part yet not come service advisor said part is not available in Ford my question is why is Ford selling car in India if they do not have spare parts

                        Just to keep you posted I purchased a diesel figo exi model on 14 th june'11 and one of my friends took delivery of the same model on 2nd jul'11 and his vehicle has tachometer and mine doesn't how is this possible and why this differentiation.
                        Dealer tells me that mine is new model and his is old - my q is if my friends model is old then why was he asked to wait to 20 days after booking and I was given immediate delivery.
                        Appreciate your prompt response on this and the other issue

                          Hi,

                          I don't have any personal problem with either company as Ford or Ganges Ford as a dealer.

                          But After buying Ford Figo 1.4 EXI, I have faced lots of troubles and it is forcing me to lodge a complain or else take lawful action.


                          During my purchase of the car from Ganges Ford, Kolkata, I have been told that it will give 14-16 km mileage on an average within Kolkata City with AC.

                          Here is the list of poblems

                          1) I got mileage about 10-12 kmpl within Kolkata City. My car have travelled arround 2100 km and 1st service has been done.

                          2) Within 1.5 month after purchasing my car, My Car broke down on the middle of the road. Later found that Fan-Belt got torn ( damaged) . My whole day office gone. 1st bad experience after purchasing the car.

                          3) On third month, again I have faced car break down problem. Now found that problem was on battery as battery got dried fully. How within 3 months, battery got dried.


                          I want to exchange my car as it is nothing but giving problems after purchasing itself.

                          and moreover I want to put a name on this complain, Praveen Kumar ( from mileage testing, ford service centre, Gnages Ford). Mr Praveen Kumar is literraly don't know how to talk to any consumer. He is acting with too much rude mentality when I called him for a mileage testing.

                          For me, I will not recommend anyone from my company (IBM), friends or relatives to buy Ford and face this type of issue and make life miserable.

                          Waiting for a prompt response from you and hope Ford will come up with good alternatives and will help me to change my thinking about Ford.

                            Dear Sir/Madam,
                            We have purchased above model Ford Fusion vehicle from your Guwahati Dealer M/s- TI Motors Pvt Ltd. Bhuyan Mansion, GNB Road, Silpukhuri, Guwahati in the month of Febuary 2008. But we could not use the vehicle comfortably since it purchased. We are getting problems in the vehicle everytime and the dealer repair it and we find same trouble within a few days.
                            we have repaired the Air Condition two times before. Again on 25th June 2011 we have repaired Air Condition (Ref: Invoice No. CRIAB0174900, DT. 25/06/11) paying the sum of Rs. 7818.00 but could not drive the vehicle 50kms, it has started problems and the Air Condition is not working fully.
                            Sorry, but regret the purchasing of the Ford Vehicle.
                            Please, arrange to repair the same immediately.

                              I purchased ford ikon TDCI diesel version model in December 2010 from ahmednagar, maharashtra. After driving this vehicle about 10 days i started realizing that this car is not running the way a new car usually run. I started complaining about my problem to the workshop, but till now my problem is not resolved.
                              My problem is - while driving the car engine stops at any point of time in the mid of the road. They call it misfiring. There is some IC valve and some electric issue which they could not rectified till now. In this situation my steering & brakes stops working. Another problem is with the RPM. My vehicle at service station is more than 50 days. Also service given by Ahmednagar service station is very bad. I going to file case against ford India and dealer in consumer forum and also planning to report this to media for this problem.

                                hi,i am an illfated owner o[censored]r stupid car figo.a complaint cannot be rectified even after leaving the car for service couple of times.each time we tell the complaint,the attending personal easily tell come and give the car at the service centre next day,as if it is soo easy as the say.and on top customer satisfaction survey is taken by a group of jobless people in chennai,dont know y this survey is taken,for they dont bother to get back to the customer.a major complaint days after delivery of the car ,still not over.they had promised me to get back to mein a months time from R and D department.its more than a year,but still no one responded.it is better the for closes down its factory and sales in india and start a tractor factory.that will work for them well.good luck

                                  Sub: regarding deficiency, carelessness and misrepresentation in regular service of my ford fiesta rag no. MH 15 CD 9577..

                                  Dear Sir
                                  Under the above reference subject I most respectfully submit and invite your kind attention towards the actual fact of your company services.
                                  1. That I own above mention vehicle which was purchase from your company dealer M/S Moharir ford Nasik in 2009. From since I regularly did servicing of above said vehicle thru your dealar workshop.
                                  2. That but recently last time on[protected] with prior appointment I handover my vehicle to the your dealar for regular service. At the time of hand overing the vehicle I bravely discuss following problem with dealer service adviser miss pray ghorpade.
                                  I. Regular servicing of 50,000 k.m.
                                  II. Wheel alignment and balancing.
                                  III. Replacement of rear logo.
                                  IV. All door setting.
                                  V. Noise in front suspension
                                  VI. Noise in dash board.
                                  VII. Proper fitting of front bumper.
                                  VIII. Replacement of front toughing cap.
                                  IX. Your advisers suggest me to get package of SUPER PLUS for misslenious work and accept it and give confirmation for the same.
                                  3. That after giving all this instruction I also ask about the delivery time of vehicle the your company adviser told me that it will be inform me latter on due to heavy workload . She is unable to give commitment and I agreed the same and left your workshop in morning.
                                  4. That whole day not any signal call to be made by your adviser to me regarding delivery of vehicle then after long waiting I make a call to your dealer workshop and talked with service advisor and your adviser told me that she will call back me in 10 minute and told about delivery of vehicle but still 5:30 p.m no cal had been made by tour adviser then again I made cal to workshop and talked with her then also again she told me to will cal me after 10 minute. And lastly she called me about 5: 50 p.m and giving information that car is ready for delivery and told me the bill amount of Rs. 4600/-.
                                  5. Accordingly I reached to your dealer workshop about 05:45 P.M to pick up my car. I asked adviser about bill then she simply hand over the job work file in to my hand and told me to get bill prepare from account department, I think she is very much busy.
                                  6. Meanwhile I went near my car and observing the vehicle from outer side and I am very much disappointed and surprised to see that my car bumper position is same as I left in morning and no toughing cap was replaced and also no door setting has been done all this thing I noticed to the work shop manager they made me promise that this thing will not happen again in future.
                                  7. Before making payment I read all job sheet which was entrusted by your work shop adviser in my hand in which the check list of work was teak in box of form by your officer in which all the work had been done by mechanical and their also signature appear of supervisor it will very surprise thing without proper inspection your dealer employee playing the mischief with customer it will very harmful for your company brand name and reputation.
                                  8. Hence it is prayed that.
                                  It is a primary duty of your company that not to concentrate only on sale of vehicle but its need to satisfy your customer by giving after service and thus it is duty of company to care of customer values and respect the customers time. Hence pleas ensure that every customer will fully satisfy by your service and for that purpose your company will make some surprised visit to your dealer showroom. If possible then please give me a written feed back regarding my complaint.

                                    I purchased Ford Figo car from Delhi Ford. The entire payment of vehicle was made by cheque. I received a call from Sh. Deepak of Delhi Ford on 10.06.2011 to collect the vehicle as the same is ready after fitment of accessories. I immediately rushed to Delhi Ford's Office in Bhika Ji Cama Place where I had booked the car to collect the vehicle. There I came to know that the vehicle will be delivered in their Vasant Kunj branch. Since it was late evening and next day was Saturday, I told the gentleman that I shall collect the vehile on Sunday. However, I shall come on saturday to check the vehicle. On saturday, I checked the vehicle and further asked him to get the teflon coating, antirust coating and film fitted on the vehicle and also paid the extra money to one namely Sh. Bijender. He told me to collect the vehicle on Sunday at 12.00 Noon. To my utter surprise, I received a call at 11.50 A.M that vehicle could not be delivered as cheque is yet to be encahsed. I told them that had such situation been brought to my notice on Friday itself, I would have taken the remedial action. I was supposed to leave Delhi for next month in Sunday evening. Their general manager, Sh. Sanjiv Kumar also evaded all my questions and refused to discuss the matter with me. I shall advise prospective buyers that if they intend to buy Ford Car which is incidentally the best one, they should try any dealer other than Delhi Ford or otherwise, they will face unforseen harasment at their hands which will be difficult to forget in the entire life.
