Hathway is a cheating company. I have broadband connection with Hathway. It works good most of the times, but some times the speed is very slow. its all can be ignored as a normal one, but the real problem is very frequent disconnection. In a month approximately 4 to 5 times of disconnection. I have raised this issue to the customer care. They are very cool in saying that it is a common and I will be given a compensation for those disconnection days. A request has to be raised for that, but that request can be raised only after the present disconnection is resolved.
After few days, I called again and raised the request for the compensation. After few days a person from technical team has called and enquired about the disconnection days. He said that compensation can not be given as the disconnection is resolved within 4 to 5 hours. I did not agree to it and he convinced to agree for the compensation for those disconnection days. Totally 6 days are eligible for compensation. He said that he is raising it to the concerned team for further approval and the compensation may be either by extension of validity days or reduction in next month billing. After few days, he called again and confirmed that 6 days are approved and bill deduction can be done at next month bill. I called after 10 days to know the bill deduction amount, they said it is not possible to confirm at that time and I have to wait until the last day of bill that is on 25th.
On 25th, they called and said that billing deduction is not possible, only service extension is possible that will be done in next month, so asked me to pay the full amount on that month (February). I called next week again to check the status, they asked me to wait for 1 week, Again I called one week they confirmed that no such requests are pending, I have to raise the request right from the beginning. After I explained all the issues refering to the earlier tickets, they agreed that extension request is exist, but they asked me to wait further 1 week. Now the time for the next month billing payment. I called them again to check the extension, they said extension is not possible, only bill deduction is possible for 4 days, that can be done in next month, so asked me to pay the full amount in March also and simultaneously they raised a ticket for bill deduction. I explained them that the compensation is not for 4 days it is for 6 days. After 1 week, a person called me and confirmed again that 6 days of bill deduction is approved and I will receive an SMS within 4 days containing the details of the deduction and payments. I have not received any SMS and called the customer care again. They asked me to call after 20th, so that they can tell the amount after deduction. I called on 21st and they raised another ticket[protected]W659381) to know the amount and told me that I will get a call from the concerned team with the details. On 25th April, since no one has called me, I called the customer care to know the amount, they said that I am eligible for bill deduction but the bill amount is not confirmed, so said that he is going to raise one more ticket that will be responded in 2 days. Since I don't want my connection to be elapse, I have to pay the full amount on 25th April also. Today 28-April, a person has called me and said that I am eligible for 6 days and it can be done either in bill deduction or service days extension and started talked as afresh and said that relevant ticket is raised only 4 days back. I don't understand why they are behaving like this. I conveyed her my inconvenience and their cheating behavior with false promises. She got angry on me as I convey my issues.

In the above message, I have skipped many further calls and tickets I raised during the past 4 months. The count of call would be around 50 times and the number of tickets would be around 10 to 15.

All my tickets are closed. All my calls are not answered by them properly. It is very rude behavior of the billing team while talking. Many times they say that they are billing and collection team, they can't help about this issue. My simple question was if a billing team can not handle my billing issue, who else can support on this billing issue (to know the bill amount for next month)?
Its all a cheating behavior. If a person cannot get the pre-agreed compensation for the consecutive 4 months even after making several followups through multiple tickets and phone calls, it clearly confirms the Hathway a FRAUD company.

The amount of compensation would be around Rs. 100, but the value of time I spent making requests and followups would worth to Rs. 10, 000/-

All my tickets are marked closed without even a resolution and no communication from Hathway. These are the ticket IDs with respect to this specific one issue: 25042024W713013, 21042024W659381, 24032024W278390, 16032024W141394, 11032024W065936, 07032024W002884, 24022024V797723, 15022024V677977, 05022024W530035, 02022024W474965.

Even I wouldn't have bothered much if they would have said compensation is not possible, but they said compensation is possible an approved, but to grant it they are cheating like anything. In-between they tried to reduce the days from 6 to 4. Some days they said no such request exist and it has to be raised afresh.

All these are CHEATING BEHAVIOR of HATHWAY and this experience make it to treat this a FRAUD company.

The WORST service by Hathway. I would strongly recommend the friends not to get into this trap of Hathway.

    online recharge and expiry in two days

    Hi,
    i have been recharged at 12 th of feb and i got recharge expiry at 13th feb and i'm facing this kind of issue in jan itself.

    22nd of Dec i done recharge and cable fault issue i raised two many complaints and finally issue got fixed at 2nd jan and the money i didn't got refunded and for 12th feb recharge your customer care executive said that 337 for 470 pack for me instant of refund and i accepted and paid.

    I have disconnected my hathway broadband connection and also returned router one month back.but still they are harrassing me by giving 5-6 call everyday and forcing to recharge.

        I Have paid for 6 months and decided to shift my house to a new location.

        When i asked hathway to change it they informed they dont have network.

        So the connection is closed at old house. and they are telling they dont have a policy to refund money.

        I have only used for a month. so they need to refund me for the balance 5 months.

        They are straight away rejecting and not providing me with refund.

          I am getting too many calls for my plan is expired and to get it recharged, each day I am getting around 2 or 3 calls, it is very frustrating but had too pick calls because don't want to miss the important one. I gave my reason twice or thrice, and expecting not to get other call, but it doesn't matter, i am still getting calls, it has so annoyed me and have to make a decision to terminate the connection and i did same, the ticket was raised...

          I have disconnected my hathway account for almost a year and returned their router too. Still, everyday I get calls from them for reactivation of the account. I often blocked many numbers but everytime a new number calls. I don’t want their calls to disturb me everytime.

            Got mail from hathway regarding SUBMIT DEVICE URGENTLY

            I got a mail from hathway that they will take legal actions if i not returned the device.but i vacated from that place before 1+ year.and at that time i informed them that I'm not using internet anymore and I located to other place and collect your devices and also I told them to remove my account.but they never listens to us, they only call to customer blindly even after we tell the reason properly.how can I submit those things if I'm not...

            I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Hathway Internet Services regarding the unethical business practices and poor customer service experience I have encountered. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue directly with Hathway, I have not received a satisfactory response or resolution.

            I am a active customer of Hathway internet service provider from 2019 or earlier. In June 2023 I renewed my plan to 6 month and they gave me 2 months free(60 days).

            To provide you with more context, my current plan, which was supposed to be 6+2 months starting from June 9, 2023, had an invoice validity period from June 9, 2023, to December 8, 2023. As per the terms, an additional 60 days (2 months) were to be added to the plan duration. Until a few days back, the plan expiry date displayed in the Hathway app was February 8, 2024.

            However, few days back, I was dismayed to discover that the plan expiry date has been modified to February 4, 2024, resulting in a reduction of four days from the initially communicated validity. This discrepancy is concerning, and it greatly impacts the value I anticipated from the subscription

            Despite my efforts to seek clarification and resolution, my interactions with two customer service representatives were far from satisfactory. Not only they don't care and close all of my tickets neither providing any solution nor reaching out to me, however couple of executives assured me that 4 days will be added to my account on 28/01/2024 but till now this is not completed from Hathway's end.

            Hathway's actions not only violate the terms of the agreed-upon service contract but also undermine my consumer rights to fair treatment, transparency, and effective resolution of grievances.

            In light of the above, I kindly request your intervention to investigate this matter thoroughly and ensure that appropriate action is taken against Hathway for their unethical business practices and disregard for consumer rights.

            Furthermore, I seek the following remedies:

            A refund or compensation for the reduced validity period of my internet plan.
            A formal apology from Hathway for the poor customer service experience and unprofessional behavior of their representatives.
            Assurance of improved customer service standards and transparency in communication from Hathway moving forward.

            I have enclosed copies of relevant documents, including my service contract, communication with Hathway, and any other pertinent information to support my complaint.

              I have contacted customer service they made me pay 300rs for shifting my connection without checking wheter they provide connection in new address. I paid now they are rejecting my request stating my address proof was not according to their guidelines. I reached out to customer care again then they are saying they don’t provide connection in my new Address which is Sithalapakkam, Chennai, and told me to email help desk for refund the shifting amount taken by Hathway.
              Kindly return the shifting amount to the original bank account.

                I contacted them for shifting my connection to different location I even paid 300rs for shifting the connection but yet no response from them. They even closed my complaint raise without contacting me. Very bad service

                  Hey i've been using hathway network for the past 1year.Noe I've completed my cpurse and went back to my native.I no longer need the broadbamd connection.But the cistomer care keep on contacting me to recharge and i've told them multiple times that i dont want your bloody connection and they were like ok we'll talk to our managing head and will stop calling u this is yhe people are saying for the past 20 days.But till now im receiving calls.Im feed up.Camt ypu u responsible for thr cistomer request.So PLEASE STOP CALLING ME FOR GOD'S SAKE.If possible u can come and collect your precious modem if thats what u needed and please leave me alone.

                          My home broadband is NOT working since 5-Dec-2023. Already raised complaint in broadband portal and its showing in-progress status. But nobody is resolving this issue. Now they are saying that, my account got deactivated as I did not renew it on 13-Dec-2023.
                          Since my plan is a prepaid one, I asked to resolve the issue and then I will renew it immediately. But Hathway executive are saying that they can not resolve the issue until I renew it.
                          Since Hathway is NOT ready to resolve the issue, i may surrender the connection within 1 or 2 days as even for prepaid plan also, first they are looking for money and NOT ready to resolve my issue.

                              This is to kindly inform you that GTPL gujarat has appointed me as a DSA of modasa city Gujarat to collect new GTPL wifi connection and the took 1000 rupees refundable deposit from me and I had complaint to the head department of GTPL Mr hanif vohra to refund my deposit because several times I asked new connection in my area but they tell that we have no service in my appointed area so I told GTPL to self resign and my deposit money back but they refused so please try to help me to solve this issue

                                Account No: [protected] and both are not working since 4th Dec 2023 and I have raised 2 separate complaints and no one has ever called or none of the customer care numbers are responding. I have paid for the whole month in advance and this is the worst customer service I have seen. I am living in an apartment complex where all other service providers like ACT, Airtel is working without an issue.

                                  I've been using Hathway for more than 4 years (Account# [protected]).

                                  Since Dec 4th My Internet has not been working. Hence I raised a complaint on Dec 6th to fix the issue.

                                  No person has called me or visited my address to fix the issue. They closed the complaint on Dec 10th without resolving my issue and intimation.

                                  Hence, I raised a 2nd complaint on Dec 10th, till now no person has called me and the issue has not been resolved.

                                  Kindly help me to fix the issue. I have attached the complaint details for your reference.
