Connection Shift denied

Myself Kalyanjyoti Mohan with Hathway customer id of [protected]; been using Hathway for last two years in Kazi road, Gangtok, and had to shift to a new place near Swastik, Gangtok. Before shifting I asked the technical team if the shifting of the connection to the new place be possible, and they responded positively, which is why I recharged my device until February 2024 before shifting, but after I shifted weirdly enough, the same team responds...

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration regarding the internet service provided by Hathway Broadband. I am a loyal customer of your company, and I have always relied on your services for a seamless internet connection. However, today has been an extremely frustrating experience as I have not received the promised internet service since the morning.

I had important work commitments that required a stable internet connection, and I specifically chose Hathway Broadband for its reliability. Unfortunately, I have been unable to access the internet throughout the day, which has severely impacted my ability to work from home.

I would like to highlight that I have paid for the internet service in advance, and it is disappointing to see such a lapse in service quality. I expected Hathway Broadband to uphold its commitment to providing uninterrupted internet access.

I kindly request that you take immediate action to resolve this issue and ensure that I receive the internet service I have paid for as per our agreement. I believe that a prompt resolution is necessary to compensate for the inconvenience and financial loss I have experienced due to this service outage.

If this issue is not addressed promptly, I may have to consider registration
of complaint in consumer court

I would appreciate your prompt response and a clear plan of action to restore my internet service and prevent such issues from occurring in the future.

    I have been facing internet issues since the activation date a week back and raised multiple tickets.No one is there to attend and no proper channel to communicate to customer help desk.they have placed a damaged router.Kindly deactivate my connection and provide refund for Rs.1000 that I have paid for the prepaid connection.

    Hathway you will lose the market very soon in chennai.Such a scammers who use recorded voice for customer care numbers and not connecting to a real human

        Hathway has been the worst company.
        Even after discontinuing their service their support team keep calling again and again to reactivate it. Even after telling them 1000times that i have shifted my office and i dont need your service they are doing the same.I had told th to collect their router it’s at the same place, But still they try to reactivate it.Today i received email regarding legal action from the company.
        Hathway pls change your behaviour and stop harrasing innocent customers

          I have disconnected from both their broadband and cable services, but they're torturing me every single day calling from different numbers. I have had enough saying that I have disconnected from their services and delete my numbers from all sorts of their third parties. I have no dues or anything.

          Even worse thing is they call during office working hours that's heights of stupidity, everyday 3-5 calls from different numbers, i have really had enough of this ruthless behavior

                  No proper customer service from hathway in bangalore for hathway broadband. If your planning to buy broadband line please buy it from another ISP. if you dont recharge one day also they will keep on calling, but my internet is down for 2 days, no response from them, none of their numbers are working.

                    Relocation of broadband

Despite my repeated requests to cease such calls, they have continued, causing significant inconvenience and annoyance.

                    I wish to remind you that I am a customer who values a peaceful and respectful communication environment. Unsolicited calls disrupt my daily life and work, and I am left with no choice but to take this matter seriously.

                    I kindly request that you immediately halt all unsolicited calls to my phone number [Your Phone Number]. This includes any marketing, promotional, or survey calls from your company or any third parties on your behalf. Failure to do so will leave me with no option but to take further action.

                    Please be aware that if I receive one more unsolicited call from Hathway Service Provider or any affiliated entities, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter by filing a formal complaint with the appropriate regulatory authorities, such as the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). This will not only result in significant inconvenience for your company but could also lead to legal consequences.

                    I trust that Hathway Service Provider takes its responsibilities under the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR) seriously and will ensure that my request is respected.

                    I expect immediate compliance with this request. I believe that we can resolve this matter amicably without further escalation.

                      I had taken internet connection November 2021 which got expired in March 2022, while shifting I had asked the person who gave connection to take back the router and after a week also I called and told him to take the modem from room. He said not to call again as he will collect the modem. Now I am getting threat calls pertaining to modem not returned from some Hathway Pre Legal Team. They are asking me to pay the modem charges because as per their record it marked as not returned. Once over call I had informed about this too. Team said they'll take care. Now this nuisance has started by sending threat emails, I am ok to receive the legal notice and I will handle it myself but why create such nuisance by sending emails or calls

                        I have shifted to new rented house on 5th August, 2023 and raised a request for shifting hathway connection to my new address on 4th August 2023, and I already made the payment for this transfer request as it isn't accepting without payment. After multiple follow ups and calls to customer care till date 8th August 2023, shifting was not yet done. Calling cc every day but the executives are not responding properly.

                        I have already recharged my connection for 3 months and its valid till October and from last 5 days i am not able use the internet as shifting is not done yet.

                        Please help me in this regard to get the amount back or shifting done asap and extend the renewal to those days which i lost without using the internet. Thank you.

                          I have Hathway broadband connection for a few years now in Aurangabad. I have paused my connection now as I have been staying in Mumbai since a few months.

                          I have been getting incessant calls from them since the day I stopped my connection. Everyday, I have received 5-10 calls. It doesn't work to block them as the calls are from different number every time. I have asked them on the call to stop calling multiple times but they haven't stopped at all.

                          This is outright harassment. Please stop calling me!

                            AMC service charge for free device

                            Hathway provided modem device at the time of installation and was free to use until the device the subscription is kept active. However, they have started levying device charges @ Rs. 18 per month for the past 3-4 months stating AMC as the reason.

                            Hathway sending me notices to pay for modem which is returned after 8 years.

                            I used hathway for about 5 months and disconnected in November 2015 in Pune. I did all the right things called the office before I moved out of the house.
