Hi,

I am using hathway broadband since last 1 year and on 7th of april 2017 i paid amount #2225 inr for the renewal for next 3 months (I. E for may, june and july 2017) but due to personal reasons i am moving out of hyderabad and i would like to deactivate my account/service and refund the amount which i have paid for renewal (My renewal date is 09th april 2017) and same has been raised with hathway on 07th april 2017 through emails to "[protected]@hathway.net, [protected]@hathway.net, [protected]@hathway.net" and raised with customer care multiple times (Service id #12042017w727813, 07042017c10754, 07042017w662742-1 but no response from them.
When i speak with customer care executives they are saying they don't have any idea about deactivating account and billing team is taking care of deactivation and i asked them to transfer my call to billing team and they said they don't connect to billing team and they will raise the issue with billing team and looks there is no proper communication between hathway teams and because of this they are torturing customers. Till nowi did not get a call from billing team yet and not i will get it or not.
As i have not used service in a single day in current renewal period (May, jun and jul) i need my full amount refund. This is my sincere request to hathway
Hathway should definitely improve their service and behaviour with customers.
As mahatma gandhi said customers are god's for the business and don't lose their trust.

    At the time of getting service from ISP, they had committed to give me 350GB data per month. But they have given me only 150GB data and charged for 350GB data.

    When I raised complaint, they simple declined that complaint saying that there was false commitment given my our sales person. Due to this, I had to suffer huge business loss.

    I raised complaint on 8th April and every day I call they say tomorrow you will get data, but on 12th April, they simply declined my complaint and said it was false commitment by our sales person, then I again raised complaint, but no response.

      Hi,
      I have been cheated by GTPL local service provider. They came and had took a check from me just by saying that plan renewal date will be after 6+2 = 8 months. It means my next plan renewal date should be around 4th December 2017 but it shows me 4th October 2017 in my account.

      I had given a check amount of 3000/- INR on 3rd April 2017.

      I have attached the receipt, please kindly check the attached receipt.

      Still no reply from them and they had dismissed the service from today morning just because I had complaint on yesterday.

      [censored] service and all sucks. Even I can't register online complaint too from WWW.gtpl.net portal
      you can file complaints to gov body and should get compensation on your issue or business loss, I did same.
      They never learn, worse service provider, chears GTPL. I have also face lots of issues, they cheating customer and making money out of it. they also did same with me
      block my num, online login etc.

      pls File complaints to gov body on issue better option.

        Sir,
        Your representative while collecting the payment for 3 months in January 2017 informed that connection would extend by one week i.e.23.04.2016.
        Of late I have been receiving SMS which inter alia mentions about expiry of plan on 16.04.2017 and extending of free 1000GB data in case payment is made on that day.
        Please clarify the position. Had you sent me the payment receipt mentioning thereon the expiry date of plan, this message could have been avoided.
        In case you propose not to extend the date as committed at the time of receipt of payment, then I may be informed accordingly so that I look for some other service provider.

          my concern regarding this compliant is that when i bought this connection executive asked me for the plan o[censored]nlimited 50mbps and i made a payment of 1276(976+300)300 rs is non refunded security money.on 6 march 2017 i got a msg that i have to make a payment of 1033.83 for renewal of this plan
          than why should make a payment of 1776 rs
          but now this plan is 1776 rs.a call came from hathway billing team on 13 march i was at my home town regarding this than i knew that my plan is 1776.when i return to delhi i talked to customer care for a solution they asked me for mailing.i mailed on 16 march 2017.but till now there is no response from their hand.today i also made a call for this after talking her she is trying to transfer my call to senior but call disconnected.
          at last i want a solution they cheated me

            I moved from GM Palya to Immadihalli (both in Bangalore) in December 2016.
            Hathway customer care told me that Hathway does not provide broadband service in the new area. So I requested broadband service to be disconnected. The connected was terminated on 24 December 2016. Hathway collected the router and modem on 7 January 2017 and told that the advance will be returned in 21 days. He gave me a slip stating that the modem is returned.
            It has been over 3 months now. Every time I call Hathway customer care they tell me I will receive a call from finance department but I never get a call.

            I used Hathway for 4 years and this is how Hathway cheats me when they can't provide broadband service at my new location.

              As i have taken hathway connection two years back, till the date i am paying monthly subscription in advance, now once again cable operator asking monthly advance payment, the operator wants two months subscription advance, this is not good symbol of operator, the some of the channels are not coming properly, like 456 tej tv, & also there is problem of connection.

              As i am hathway cable network customer since last 2 years from 11/07/2015 and first month he is given free service and then august 2015 onwards collecting every months subscription without fail, now he is asking that give advance monthly subscription, already we are giving advance monthly subscription, every time they are giving trouble to us, and not giving proper service

                Hi,
                We recently shifted from one place to another where we already lived before. We approached that respective areas local Hathaway cable operator. He took 500rs for installation charges and didn't provide us any receipt. And told us he would provide us with the yearly card. And gave us the direct cable connection without setup box. And even after a month setup box wasn't installed. And when we called, he said it's blocked due to payment due at the previous cable operator. When we contacted the previous cable operator, there's no due and neither this issue​ was solved. We called the current cable operator, and he was rude saying "it's blocked, can't be done, you only get it done with the previous operator". He returned the set up box after 2 months and the condition of the setup box wasn't good with someone else's name n number written with marker. We asked about our installation fee back as it was not installed. He said it's not refundable at all. And we asked without even installing how can he take installation fee?. He started argument with my husband and taking it very personal saying "I never give any receipt in my life, if you want you come to my office we will see " behaving like a goonda.
                Is this a professional way to treat a customer?

                  In March I paid full for 1 month service and due to pay for April on 14th April 2017.
                  But their customer executive asking me to pay now and since past 3 days (dated 07th April 2017) my connection is revoked by them.

                  I asked for Discontinuation of connect, hence they are harassing.

                  I have written them several times bu no one response, just ask in the mail to pay and they will resume the connection.

                    Donno y its not working getting an frquently error with this the day when i said i have an old one my cable operated started troubling wit this issues.. As he wants to take the setup both from him.. This not an right way to operate the things.. Make this sure once not repeat again.. If not things wil go worse i will approach an consumer forum for this...

                      I have taken this connection in the month of March and till today I am regretting why did I ever went for this connection. Last week I have submitted a complaint for slow speed even though the 80mbs lol... When I informed them that the speed which I am getting is less than 20 mbs the technician came and informed there is technical issue where some of the sites are slow... These are basic sites like YouTube news sites and bank sites. I understand this is not a rocket science to see this issue however the team is still haven't come back to me with the solution which is sad. I don't what's taking so much time to resolve this issue. Who ever is reading this my recommendation is never go for Hathaway. Better to go for a local provided rather than hathway or be without Internet that is much better. In between I also got an SMS from Hathway that the Internet connection is expired though I have taken the connection for 3 months. I am waiting when I will finish this 3 moths want to get rid of this connection.

                        I was the prospective customer of Hathway (acc no. [protected]) and had booked the broadband internet connection for my house which now have forced to cancel it due to the response, lethargic attitude and fake commitment. Please note this note is not to push you to do your job but passing an official confirmation to cancel the deal. The job which was committed to execute on 3rd April with a big words & before evaluating the companies competency and strength and background the advance payment was also made on faith. But hereafter got harassed like hell and people are playing phone game hiding identity and made me to keep repeated the same concerns again and again every tom dick and harry. But till today these immature guys did not bothered to give a call to the customer and today again passing and giving commitment for today. With impression that if first experience at presales is so pathetic then how I will get treated in future during after sales. Its indeed a pathetic. I would request to refund the amount without bragging your policy constraints as there is no policy in the system is my observation and i believe 45 day refund policy is not towards harassing the customer & wont be mentioned in you policy . I hope it will be taken up strongly and arrange to refund the payment by next two days.

                        Please check with your guys Dhiraj, Pintu verma, Bijinder, , in addition to field technicians, appellate did not bothers to response calls, finally today on nodel no to cancel. Nodel no. LADY tried to justity the delay with pseudo payment date which as per her statement that the payment I paid on 1APR through debit card got realised on 5th March. Please have some sense in this regards and trained them to give a better logic.

                        Do you agree I should required to chase so vigoursly for the stuff you are selling? Advise, Please keep yourself and your business in track.

                        Hope it will be taken in good spirit for your own betterment.

                        Their response and attitude seem like any other local contractor who commit something and have no capacity to do such silly small job and shamefully sit quite running away from the customer and hides their face like a recovered caught thief.

                            I am facing a serious issue with you guys, Hathway team tortured me nearly more than 6 months even after disconnection of my account.

                            and 3 days back i got a call from [protected], saying if i reconnect my hathway i will be getting 200GB for 499 package and i need to pay amount immd.

                            I have paid amount and even after 3 days there is no connection. and the lady is keep on holding calls andnot even calling back.

                            Aside after contacting hathway customer care there is newer version they said i have Rs 6000 amount as due, and said billing team will get back to me and it is almost 3 days no one has called back

                            literally i have called customer care and agency more than 20 times no one even reverted or bothered.

                            i do not want service from hathway

                                  My account number is [protected]. I got call from a Hathway sales rep saying if I renew and pay 6 month bill at one time I will be eligible to get 1 more month service. Hence I paid 6 month bill at one time. But after 6 months they had deactivated my services. I am following up with customer care for last one week to get my offer. The experience i had with customer care is ridiculous and they are trying to cheat the customer.

                                    I would like to launch a complaint against a sales executive of Hathway Broadband Mumbai Branch for constantly harassing to either resume hathway service or to give back their Modem which we have paid for at the time of connection. The executive have no manners to deal with customer. About returning back of modem was not negotiated at the time of taking connection nor they are writing down mail regarding it which makes me believe there is no such policy by company. Modem being easily available in market for money is no proprietary to the company when it is paid for.

                                      I have subscribed for a Hathway Broad Service plan name HD1 Stream 50 mbps and was offered 320 GBs / Month at 50 MBPS speed and have paid Rs. 9774 vide cheque and have acknowledgement from Hathway with the above details (receipt# R[protected].

                                      Now after 20 GBs consumption the speed had reduced and according to Hathway, Hathway's Billing department has committed an error and assigned only 20 GBs at 50 MBPS as against committed 320 GBs at 50 MBPS.

                                      After multiple complaints (latest complaint # [protected]), Hathway has not taken any action.

                                      I find this behavior highly unethical and want this problem sorted out or need full refund.
