my problem
very frequently the set top box is loosing the signal, cable connections are fine, but hathway box is not receiving signal, and more over your hathway help desk n phone no. there wouldn't be any people to take the call, i wanted to know what is the problem with my box its been 2 months am using this, but signal loss/ some technical problem on your side. Please rectify this as soon as possible.

Recently we are facing many problems like...every other day there is some sorta technical glitch… and give lame excuses without solving the problem I hope you will take care of my this mail and help us and change give meFull HD MPEG 4 H.264 DVB Set Top Box Digital DVB-T TV Receiver with HDMI and Scart (DH1683) reply us. Your early action in this regard.
I request you to kindly intervene and do justice by advising your person to Replace the Hathway set top box.

hi, our set top box was purchased in January 2013 and was installed in February 2013. now for last ten days 4 channels viz., ETV. MAA TV, Gemini TV and another one, are not coming because of which we had to switch to again normal cable connection.

    Hi,
    I am a Hathway customer and have been using their services from past 2+yrs. Since past 4 month, after upgrading to a plan I have been facing regular disconnectivity issues which has caused me big financial losses.
    I've already reported my concerns to the nodal officer and the appelate in the company. As of now, and no one has responded with an answer.
    I would like to know what help can I get from this portal.

      From Last One month(September) I am Having a "NO CONNECTIVITY" issue and Service are not available.In the month Of September I had APPORX 5 or 6 times Complain for the same Problem but still there is no Proper Solution for my Complain & Next time again the problem persists.My Maximum use of the Service is @ night time(after 8.00 PM) and after 8.00 PM I am facing this problem almost every 3rd or 4th Day In the Month of September & October(till date).

      So please Do the need full as soon as possible.

      Hathway Internet — no connectivity

      i m using hathway internate for so many year but since last 10 day i have no connectivity of internate.i complained so many time for that to jigar who is area manager of adajan, surat and also to ravi who gave connection to me.but steal no result.

        "384kbps Unlimited" used to mean, when it was introduced 3 or 4 months back, "384kbps till 15GB; then 256kbps". This month, it has been redefined as "384kbps till 8GB; then 128kbps"!

        In neither case will anyone at Hathway tell you of these constraints; I wasted hours on calls & digging through their website. And don't even think of being told of these when you are buying or renewing the plan.

        I'm very frustrated. Wasted hours today to figure out the latest definition: "384kbps till 8GB; then 128kbps"! Can not figure out why a generally decent company like Hathway wants to CHEAT its regular customers, & feels ashamed of telling them exactly what it is selling them.

          I am user of Hathway Broadband connection. Paid annual fees in Jan 2010. When ever I am trying to use net connection I always find there is a coonectivity issue and services are not available. When tried to lodge the complaint on Saturday they have told me they have Sat - Sun weekly off and can not do anything. They even told me very rudley that I can go to any higher ups and do the complaints. I was having teleconference with customer and for thay I have to travel 20 KMs to do conference from office. I advice not even to think using using Hathaway broad band connection any time. I am realyy regreted paying one year subscription. When ever there technitian comes after complaint he does some minor adjustment and goes off. Next time again the problem persists. i do not know why they are not working sa proffessional in compitating world.

              I am getting the lot issues after getting the HathWay Set Top Box Connection.

              Your service is very poor in Borivali. I am faced lot issues.

              My settop box connection is disconnect Since payment has been made last week, But still i am not getting the connectivity. Every weekend i am facing the same issues If itz connectivity there or not.
              In Mumbai office(HathWay Employees) Not responding properly my question. I tried to called couple of times but there is no satisfactory response from the Hathway Customer Care. Even I had lodged complaint on here. This is second time again i have to lodge complaint n kindly do the needful help dont overlooked on this.

                HATHWAY DTH — NO COMPLAINT REDRESSAL

                I LAJPAT SABHNANI HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF HATHWAY DTH FROM 2 YEARS. BUT SINCE I HAVE NOT BEEN RECEIVING MAJORITY OF THE CHANNELS I TRIED TO COMPLAIN TO VARIOUS AUTHORITIES BUT NO PERSON EVER RECEIVED MY CALLS DUE. MANY OF THE CHANNELS LIKE ESPN, BBC NEWS, TIMES NOW AND MANY ENTERTAINMENT CHANNELS HAVE BEEN SHUT OFF. MANY HATHWAY CUSTOMERS I HAVE CONTACTED HAVE THE SAME COMPLAINTS.

                  Hi,

                  It's more than a week I applied for the broadband plan. I have already paid all the money on 17th sep. IT was promised to me that I will get the connection maximum by 21st or 22nd. Last 4days I was trying to contact the guy who came to my place (Ravi) to collect the money but he was not picking up the call at all, we also left 3 messages on his cell but still no response. I tried contacting people in Kothrud office but there is no proper response received. My dad went to hathway kothrud office today and reply was they can't say how much more time will be taken it could be 3-4 more days. I need a internet connection bit urgently thats why I was trying to chase the same. Instead of promising me connection earliest now they have refunded my money. Now if I am going to apply to some other service provider, it will take 2-3 more days for new connection. I have a feeling as if I am cheated. It is highly disappointing that we do receive such a irritating responses from the well known co. like hathway. Can somebody look into this matter please? I am expecting a definite reply on this.

                  Hathway Cable & Datacom Limited — sudarshan news is not on set top box

                  I am complaining for not telecasting of sudarshan news on hathway cable services(btv hathway cable services) I think it was exploitation of a consumer if he pays his cable payments and still not able to watch the channel he wants to. Can somebody look into this matter please? I am expecting a definite reply on this.

                    please help me out, i am getting very low download speed even upto 0.1KB/sec to 5KB/sec some time its totally don' t show
                    the speed what's the problem i don't please try to solve the speed mismatch problem . when i was taking the connection it
                    was told to me i will get minimum download speed of 40KB/sec. But as the result the download speed is fluctating even in
                    range of 0.1KB/sec to 0.5KB/sec.

                      My Broadband is not working from last 7 working days.I have registered complain uncountable times.Everytime I register my complain I get the standard answer our engineer will contact you soon.
                      Please let me know is there any shortage of support staff in my area & the person is coming out of the state that he can not even make up 168 hours.
                      This is not effecting me it is also affecting the revenue of your company.
                      Please register my complain & do the needful as soon as possible.
                      I hope to get a better service in future.

Please take into account our viewer's plea to broadcast all channels regularly especially sports channels and western news channels. Plz relay Masti as well.                             I am having cable connection from Hathway Bhawani Cabletel & Datacom Ltd, 5th Floor, Sanjona Complex, Hemu Kalani Marg, Next to Wasan Ford, Sindhi Society, Chembur, Mumbai-400071

                            And my residence, 60/A, First Floor, Collector Colony, Chembur, Mumbai-400074

                            And my enrollment No with them is[protected].

                            I lodged a complaint with them August 30, 2010 that the Set top Box is not functioning. However till today they have not solved my problem. Its almost 2weeks that I have complained and every time I make telephone calls to them I get an answer from them that They the Set-Top box is out of stock and as an when they have in stock they will replace the faulty Set Top Box. On Monday 6th September, 2010 I called them and was told that the set-top box will be arriving by Saturday that is by the end of that particular week. But when I called them there was no one to pick up my calls. And then yesterday that is 13th September, 2010 I called them again and the agent again told me the same thing that the set-top box is out of stock and the same answer I was made to hear again that the set-top box will be arriving by the end of this week that is on Saturday. When questioned to their customer service agent as to when will the set-top box actually arrive, they have no clue. Their customer service agents are quite rude to us. First of all they are not providing us with the cable services and above that they are expecting us to pay monthly bill at the end of this month. I mean to what extent they can harass their old customer, as I have been there customer from past so many years. We are unduly harassed by the Cable Service Provider from more that 15days with no solution. We therefore seek your help in the matter.

                            Hathway Bhawani — Terrible services/Underperformance

                            I have opted for a plan of 1mbps and I get speeds under 200 kbps. Every second day I need to call and complaint about the internet not working. It is disgusting to speak to their customer care executives who place you on hold for minutes on end and then disconnect.
                            I really hope someone takes them to task.

                              I had used hathway for 1 month and found the performance of internet is very poor. So i terminated the connection on 29th March 2010. I submitted my modem on the same day and asked for the refund of deposit money Rs 1000. Person from hathway told me that you will receive a cheque within a month and if it got delayed they will give interest on the money as late refund.

                              It's been 6 months i've tried to get the money back but everytime i called them they told me they are processing.

                              Few days back i got a call from them, that the cheque is arrived at Mulund hathway office. I went there and waited for 1 hr. After that a cheque of Rs. 578 was offered to me. When i asked them that i want Rs 1000 back, the person from hathway talked very rudly and told that the cheque payment is not his duty and contact with Andheri branch person.

                              When i asked to connect the call and i need to talk to that Andheri branch person, he refused to connect the call and talked very badly before all customers.

                              After that i called that Andheri branch person MR. Karnik from my mobile and asked for clarification. He told me you have not paid the bill of April 2010 thats why we deduct the money from your deposit amount. I told them that i ve receipt of submission of modem and termination of internet connection on 29 March 2010 then how can you charge me for April 2010. He told me to submit the receipt at Mulund hathway and then he will see ... i told them i cannot come again and again to the office and your Mulund branch will be having the copy of receipt and they have verified the same that on 29th March modem was submitted. After that also Mr. Karnik talked with me very badly. I'm still awaiting my refund money.

                              Hathway — No refund of Money

                              I have been using Hathway broadband services since may2009. Initially services was ok but with time it deteriorated with time. During payment of my bill i paid my bill as one month in advance cause of patchy online payment system. Whenever i called them the behavior of consumer care guys was errant. finally i discontinued the service in august as i was totally irritated by their poor service. when i asked for the refund of the extra money they say they will refund after one month of submitting modem. When i asked them to come and take it they said it will be done tomorrow and next day and so on. Once i said them i will throw modem i[censored] don take it back, the person at consumer case said that he will find me out and strike me. i said what u said and he stepped back and disconnected the call. after sometime they took the money by end of august. and promised me refund of money in one month. when i called after one month of the status they said that they will call me back in next one day. i called them four times after that and they promised me that they will call me back in a day. i informed them i will go to consumer forum if they don refund my money. But plea remain unheard. Thats why i am lodging this complain so that they can refund my extra paid bill.

                                I am pranshu Mishra, using hathway broad band service with account id 661338 in himalaya society ,shiv teerth nagar kothrud. I have been just feed up from the point i took hathway Broadband service ,It all started when i took the connection for 384kbps unlimited from sales executive nagesh [protected] who promised alot but gave nothing told me that we have 7 day commitment of provisioning the connection but even after 4 days my form was not logged on ,every time i had to call them to install the cable, after 5 days i went to their office agian to enquire ,the technicians were so called busy with their solitaire game in their systems and every body was doing the same thing at their office. After forcing them to install the cable one guy came ,and after all hastle my connection started ,thats when the trouble actually started. From the day i got the connection till today every day i have given a call to customer care saying that the connectivity goes all the time and never comes, I have only a dream to get a 24*7 up connection which will never go with hathway broadband ,all thanks to their excellent service i will always remember in my life. Thankyou Hathway for showing me your real face. All pune people i request you dont go with hathway ,It will suck you hard.

                                HATHWAY BROADBAND SERVICE — CUSTOMER REQUEST NOT SERVED

                                I sent an email to Hathway Customer Care ([protected]@hathway.net) and also called customer care multiple times for closure of my Hathway Internet account. They are not even responding to my request since a couple of weeks and moreoever they are piling up my bill amount like anything. This is a worst customer service that I had with Hathway.

                                  I am pasting the complete E-mail that I received from this bugger [protected]@hathway.com for awareness-sake so that nobody falls in trap of such trying out such fraudulent and criminal ideas to growing big.

                                  Please do not fall prey to such things. Nobody on earth would want to give you money just for free/using internet for your own purposes/just because you are still alive on earth. In this case below, they changed their conventional methods and tried to use an Indian renowned company's name. If possible, a case should be lodged by the company on such fellows for defamation. Beware my friends!

                                    up to now i used more internet connestions , but hathway connection is not bad from that all, even though there service is very poor , they will give some response , but if we go for bsnl, the technical person itself tare tthe wires for the money , so i am satisfied with the hathway internet

                                      i'm using hathway internet from last 4-5 years,service is really poor
                                      if problem arieses then it will take 1month to solve it.and in this period every day you have to call them and waste your 300-400rs on mobile bill

                                      this is problem with every hathway user,from last 5 years they are saying tollfree no will be available in few months but yet it's not available like other isps.

                                      from last 2 weeks i'm getting 64-88kbps speed but my plan is 256kbps.
                                      they don't care to correct this problem they said this is what you will get or max 120kbps
                                      this is really poor speed
                                      they are saying plan is 256kbps and giving 120kbps is not fair.

                                      i'm using unlimited 256kbps plan, i should get 256/8=32kilo bytes per sec. but getting less then half of this.

                                      please solve my problem.
                                      i have paid my full amount in advance for 6mnths plan.
                                      and now not getting service.

                                      toll free no should be must for every isps or dth.
                                      please solve my problem

                                      I stay in Yousufguda, Hyderabad. I have complained for NO internet connectivity on Friday. The number they have given is continuosly engaged. Till now they have n0t restored the connecitvity. Can someone look in to it.

                                        Customer support is pathetic. They disable accounts on their wish and will. The person handling my account.
                                        Mr. Aziz uses Indecent and obscene words and claims that hathway is not free to call their customers to inform that they are disconnecting accounts.
                                        And on complaining they provide suggestion to get disconnect with Hathway Broadband connection than complaining so much.On Asking how you can talk with your customer in this way.
                                        Mr. Aziz replies that he is not answerable to customer and he is only answerable to his boss.

                                        I hereby inform that I am getting disconnected. All the guys reading these pls pls pls dont n never opt. for Hathway Broadband Internet connectivity.

                                        it is very sorry to inform you that your surat office is the worstiest in the world as i am experincing sience last2 months as
                                        (1) your office is exposing only one no. to contact i.e.6696100, which is allways busy
                                        (2) the incharge of the officev mr.viraj gandhi is the most useless fellow he never attends his mob.no.[protected] to help the coustemer
                                        (3)in a week the services awailable for hardly 3-4 days
                                        (4) whenever the services resumes rhey never report to the customer
                                        (5) at any breakdown the attendent of[protected] replies that the services will resume in 2-3 days & never assures for it's recurence of fault
                                        i can't understand why you are cheating with the coustemers it would be better to shutdown your surat office & go to hell
