I am in a distress due to continuous harassment by Hathway sales team
Background of this issue :

8 months back I moved to the new house with in Tamilnadu, Chennai ( Kotturpuram to Perungudi),

While the movement, I requested for reactivation of my old hathway connection in the new house in Perungudi

But as per the sales team it was not feasible and they opened a new connection ( [protected]), after the same I was continuously getting a call from hathway to
Re-activate the old connection, for which I have to explain them each time (which was frustrating and they were not logging the information anywhere and keep on calling me daily for 8 months till now)

Above is not the actual concern, the actual concern is recently the same sales team called me and offered me lot of offers to re-activate the old connection (sun network access and other free android box), and they asked me to de-activate the existing Hathway connection ([protected]) for the same – but I said it was active till 7th of November month

So the sale team said they will arrange a call back before the same and re-activate the old connection

I did the same not say yes or no since I was not aware what was happening, meanwhile person called me and asked me to give a OTP from the hatchway so I shared

Now the issue – Hathway sales team took 755 rupees from Lazy pay in my name and I am continuously getting sms and emails from lazy pay to repay the due

Which I was not aware it was taken by the hathway team to re-activate the old connection,

Please HELP me to resolve this issue (its kind of frustrating to me since I think I got cheated by Hathway sales team

      I have disconnected my Hathway connection 2 years back and I am still receiving calls every day 2 or 3 times to renew it. I have notified them that I need to disconnect the connection but they still keep calling. I am so frustrated by their calls and want strict action against them.

        Hi,
        I have selected Hathway prepaid broadband connection for 3 months and my last recharge was on 29th Oct 2021 but I don't see my invoice . All that I see is 'invoice not found'. I have no clue how to reach out to you guys. Its very important for me to get my invoice bill as I have to claim for internet reimbursement. Please help !! My account number is [protected].

          My name is Arun kumar chidambaram and I am a resident of chennai, i used halfway broadband (Account no [protected]) 1 year back and have discontinued their services since September 2020 and have conveyed the same to them through email and phone that i no longer wanted their service.

          Since then i have been receiving 3 to 4 calls a day almost everyday for last one year .Assuming on a lower end i would have easily received and still receiving at least 800 calls in last one year asking me to renew the connection.

          The constant harassment has become a nightmare for me and i am unable to attend regular professional calls nor live in peace .it would be really helpful if this is addressed

            Hello Sir,

            I am getting calls from hathway broadband customer care since 2.5 years.
            I have used 2.5 years back for more than 1 year and they not even provided any modem even thought they started saying today you have not returned modem and legal notice was filed against me.

            These kind of harassments should be stopped when the customer not interested to use the service.
            Because of not using the service they started telling that you have not returned the modem and they got this idea after 2.5 years. Otherwise customer will not reactivate their service .
            What an idea for these guys.

            Please take some action on these hathway broadband service team.

            Note: Again i am confirming they never given the router i am already having the router and same was used during the connection.

              I am hathway's digital cable TV customer. I am not getting a signal for TV after 11 PM every night. My family has been facing this issue for 3-4 months. We did complain to the local operator but to no use. I request you to please look into this. and do needful action.

                I use hathway internet connection in bangalore. Due to covid-19, i stuck in my hometown and waiting for situation to be normal and restrictions lifted to travel, till then i dont see any reason to recharge my internet connection as there is none to use it.
                I explained the same to hathway and they acknowledged, still i get multiple calls daily from hathway customer care to recharge my account. I even asked them to deactivate/surrender my connection, and will activate once i am back still they dont stop. I am going through lot of things here, and these calls just irritating more leading to a mental stress.

                  My mobile number is [protected], I have deactivated the Hathway broadband service 2 years ago but still they are harassing me continuously to activate the connection. I have sent mail to the customer care service regarding this issue after my complaint they stopped but again they are harassing me to activate the connection. Request you to the action against the Hathway broadband service.

                    I used hathway broadband for covid times when i was in home .now i am in college i no longer need it .i said the same to the service center guy who keeps on calling me .after so much calls i even told him to disconnect /cancel my connection which is not done and still keeps calling regularly to recharge .pls help me from this torture .i get minimum 3 calls daily from hathway,

                      Complaint against the service of Hathway cable connection

                      Address: C 35, JAL Vayu Vihar L B block sector III Kolkata 700106

                      At my residence I have Hathway cable connection since last 10 years.set top box provided by the Hathway became defective and the local operator forces us to accept Jio set top box at the cost of Rs 800. I agreed to it and the one he provided is defective and picture quality is very poor and worst than previous one and I don't want to accept it. He said that this is the company policy whatever the quality of I am having the Hathway connection...

                        I got a call from Nimsy from headoffice she explained me about hathway plans that everything after I took new hathway connection on 24th oct 2021. in this process i paid amount Rs. 1944/- at the time before payment she told me the same day installation also will done, but till now not response. When i am trying to call or whatsapp chat she didnt respond.

                          I have disconnected hathway broadband connection because of relocation. I called their customer care team and also mailed them to stop sending promotional calls and SMS to my mobile number. But they linked my mobile number to a new broadband connection with my disconnected broadband account number. Till now I'm receiving promotional calls and SMS. I tried using DND but then also I'm getting their calls and SMS.

                            As we discuss we Bill raise on Maninagar area FRT on Dec-20 to Jan-21 but we already get PO by GTPL when we raise bill then we see the the our FRT billing raise by other vendor YAX Services without our information we attach eng. conformation aslo we have recieved PO. So Pls do need full for the billing. So pls stop Paymemt of Yax services he raise fraud bill...

                              I've moved from Bangalore to Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh), and Hathway connection isn't feasible in my area.
                              I have called the official Hathway number[protected] and requested for account termination (My Account number:[protected].

                              Not only did I not get any confirmation/communication on the termination progress, but I constantly get 4-6 people from Hathway calling daily to renew my account. It's torture. Anyhow, I patiently tell the Hathway customer care guys to help me to get rid of these calls and they just leave the call with no help.

                              Summarising:- want to cancel my connection (Acc number:[protected], stop torturing me with constant calls

                                  I'm having the worst internet service experience ever in my entire existence on this planet earth and that's in comparison to dial up connection back in the old days. Hathway offers 50 Mbps speeds unlimited @ 3k for 3 months. Once you pay the amount you are screwed cos any issues in the service then you just have to live with it cos the plan is pre paid and non-refundable. What they also don't tell you is that upload speeds are capped at 9 Mbps. My Airtel 4g can go upto 11 Mbps.

                                  Anyways, the only reason I got Hathway was due to the lockdown that happened in March 2020 and my office shifted to work from home. I had get a connection with a day and Hathway was the only option available at the time in building.

                                  Initially the service was ok other than the poor upload speeds. But my work was goin on smoothly.

                                  But within a few months I started facing random disconnections, slow speeds every now and then. But it didn't pain that much cos I would raise a ticket on their app and it would get resolved. The problem would would come back but it would be in weeks time but it wasn't affecting my work too much. It was bearable.

                                  But since September this year, I have been facing frequent disconnections.it so bad that when I am presenting on teams, the call would get disconnected and disturb th whole flow of my presentation. It started happening a lot and it affected my performance at work.

                                  Unlike previous times, the Hathway technicians are clueless on how to fix the problem. After raising numerous tickets on their app and calling their customer support, a technician came twice, checked the lights are stable on the router and said the problem is fixed. But with half hour after he leaves, the disconnection start happening again. He seems to have no clue how to fix the problem. Just tells me restart the router.

                                  I have raised so many tickets, call the customer so many times.l, that they have stopped taking my problem seriously. They just keep giving me the standard answer that my problem will resolved with 24 hours.

                                  My last ticket was raised in 10th of October, and it's 22 nd now and the problem is still to be fixed. There is no option for refund also.

                                  I guess I will have to live with this utterly poor service till my 3 months expire. Currently working off my Airtel 4G hotspot which way more reliable than Hathaway stupid broadband service. Will switch to Airtel fibre and hopefully the experience will be better.

                                    Hi, Please for god’s sake remove my number [protected] from Hathway database. I have used Hathway Broadband for a brief while in 2017–2018 time frame in Pune, after 2018 i have relocated to Kerala where there is no Hathway service. Still to this date I am receiving an SMS daily and call twice or 3 times a week. I have informed the customer support agents every time i pick up call that I moved away from Pune and to delete my number from their call registry. None of them did it. it’s the heights of torturing a customer I will never in my life come back to Hathway services or recommend any of my friends to choose Hatchway. They call from different numbers every time so I can’t identify if they are calling. worst service ever. Please remove my phone number from Hathway call directory and please never contact me ever again through calls or SMS. Once again, My phone number to remove is [protected].

                                      I am hathway broadband internet customer since last 5 years having account number [protected] would like to lodge complaint about very poor service and no help from helpdesk. My internet has been down since saturday 16 Oct 2021 evening till today 20 Oct2021 with no results . It has been almost 5 days which is causing tremendous loss to my business and children school and college attendance. I lodged 3-4 times complaint to your helpdesk but no responce from your service team so far. Yesterday on Tuesday 19Oct2021 I had no option left but to visit your Saistar hathway office at Thakur Village at Kandiwali east, Mumbai. Service person Mr.Jatin promised me that he will send someone to my residence, but till so far no one technician visited and resolved disconnectivity issue. I request you to intervene in the matter and resolve the issue at the earliest .
                                      In case you or your service team not resolve the issue till tomorrow evening, I will have to switchover to other supplier . i have paid full advance amount for annual membership valid till July 2022
