Respected Sir,

I would like to draw your kind attention that I'm a regular customer of Centurion Bank of Punjub which is undertaken by HDFC Bank now.

I have taken a loan of amount 30, 000.00 five years back which monthly instalment is Rs.658.00.But last in the month of Nov 08 they have not deducted the amount after avilabily of sufficient balance in my a/c. Whereas during the month of Dec 08 they have deducted the Rs. 990.00 from a/c without any information to me and on quary they didn, t aloow me to spoke regarding this and not refunded the balance amount in my account so far.

If you are interested to take up a case then I'll forward all information related this case to you as per your advice.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    My card no is [protected] is not accepting at food bazaar(Big Bazaar Udupi, KARNATAKA)
    It is very ebarassing position will come when it is not accepted after purchasing all the food items. We are not the people going for bar and restaurents.We are taking montly food item at Big Bazaar only.

    So please look in to the matter.

    HDFC is not clearly mentioned which are retail chain are accepting the card.
    i guess the problem is with the amount. my card was not accepted in reliance fresh for 200+ amount but it did for 97 rs. Similarly happened with McD also. I heard that there is a upper limit of 100 rs in a day. But this limit is not there in case of Sodexho coupons...
    but what about the amount that was not used for the day?

    Is it carry forward to the next day?

    In such case I can buy or pay more then 100 rs. using hdfc food plus card, right?

    My card no [protected] not using reliance, heratige, bug bazaar, Spencer always shows decline and what purpose I am using this card . very bad service of Hdfc bank and not introduce in future.
    TCS provided HDFC food card 4213XXXXXXXX2072 is not accepting at any of the super market ( Murugan Super Market, local provisional shop, Heritage fresh & Heritage Super Market) seems to be accepting only on restaurant like A2B, Sangeetha, Hot Chips. no use of having the card.

      Private banks know exactly how to suck the blood of the customers. They have no conscience and do not leave an opportunity to extract unfair money from the consumer.

      I had taken a home loan of 27 Lakhs at 10.25% on floating basis from HDFC. First EMI started on 15th May 2008 and the original tenure was 240 months. Since then interest rate was raised twice and the current interest rate being charged is 11.5%. HDFC. The revised amortization schedule shows the current tenure of loan to be 372 months despite of paying 8 EMIs of Rs. 26505. How can they increase the tenure to 11 long years for just an increase of 1.25%?

      Secondly, HDFC has announced to cut the home loan rate for existing customers borrowing more than 20 Lakhs by 0.5% w.e.f. 22nd December 2008. However when contacted, they say that the announced dip in interest rate will be applicable only starting Feb. 08. When HDFC did not wait for even a week to apply the raised rates, how can they propose to implement the dip in a rate till next quarter? This is completely unfair. Either they should wait for the next quarter to apply any changes to the interest rate or implement both the increase and dip with immediate effect. Kindly help as with limited income, getting the tenure of the loan increased to 11 more years is very dreadening and suicidal.

      Hi Sonika,

      I want to say you one things that just arrange the money from somewhere and close the loan. Udhar bahout kharab chiz hoti he so please close your loan as soon as quick. If you will pay 25% of the loan amount every year then HDFC will not charge you any extra money. so please close the loan by paying 25% every year or close the whole loan at 1 time.

      Mr. Vijay, are you by chance work for HDFC in anyway?. I think so, else u cannot make such insensitive comments again and again. why are you always in defense of HDFC even thougth such private banks "Take the existing cust. for a ride and screw them" mode.

      You don't have any authority to say that, "go and get the loan from somewhere else". Banks suppose to do business by give loan and collect in ethical and fair way, not rob the existing one and seduce the new one with low % and rob them too.

      simple, banks must honor the "floating rate" ie. when the RBI CRR/whatever or inflation increases, increase, when decreases decrease to all.
      I have sent multiple complaints to them without any action. All we can do is spread awareness on these cheaters

      My sympathies towards your plight. However, based on a loan of [protected]@10.25% your EMI is 26514 ( Rs 982 per lac ). When the Interest Rate changes to 11.5% your Actual EMI is 28809 ( @ 1067 per lac ). However, keeping your previous EMI of 26514 constant your tenure has to increase. Your tenure is keeping your previous EMI constant is now 392 months. To get your period back to 240 months you need to prepay atleast Rs 2, 00, 000 ( 2L ). You will need to constantly prepay ( however small that amount is ) in order to ensure that u get outta this trap.

      As per my approximate calculation, the new tenure comes to 364 months. The best way to counter this is to make a prepayment. If you make a prepayment now of approx 2L to 2.15 lakhs, the tenure will come back to close to original of 240 months. Note that the more you delay your prepayment, the more amount will need to be paid to reduce the tenure.

        MISLEADING INFORMATION

        I RECIEVED a call at my mobile no. [protected], from hdfc credit cards division and i was offered to convert my whole outstanding balance into emi's, so that i get rid off the finance charges that gets incured every month on the card, i agreed to tht, next day an executive came to sign a particular document regarding the same i did that, after 10-12 days i called customer service to enquire the status of the same and i was told that there...

        I was holding HDFC credit card and that card got misused though it was with me.I am sure someone used it by Internet for Air Tickets.I raised complaint with the bank for investigating this.The bank blocked my card and issued me a new card and commited that they will investigate within 45 days.When I called up Cust care within 45 days, they said investigation is still in progress.When I called up after 2 mnths, they said investigation was not even started and without the letter in writing, they dont investigate any issues.I then faxed them in writing abt misused transaction but they said since it is after 45 days, they cant do anything and I am liable for the whole amt 18000 Rs.I refused to pay any amt as it was not my fault.hence they put 14000 Rs on hold from my Debit Account and finally withdrew it without my approval.I made several request but they are asking me to pay the whole amount.I didn't say anything against 14000 RS withdrawal as I am working and we dont have time to work legally.But now after six mnth, the bank sending legal notices asking me to pay the remaining amount.I really dont want to settle here as the misused amt was just 17000 Rs and they already took my 14000 Rs and they want rest of the money now which is 20000 Rs as of date.Its really unfair as it's not my fault but customer care's lack of product knowledge.Can someone suggest me as to what to be done here as I have already lost 14000 Rs for no reason.

          De-activation of Third Party Transfer Facility without proper intimation

          I have been a customer of HDFC Bank for more than 5 years and have been using Net Banking and Third Party Transfer regularly.

          Due to my work i have to constantly be out of the country and during one of such vists outside for a couple of months HDFC changed its policy that they will be dicontinuing the TPT facility if i dont register for a SECURE ACCESS which is a new security procedure .

          Dear Sir,

          In order to bring to your notice that I had taken loan on my credt card [protected], I am regularly paying the EMI on time. Now I decided to preclose that loan amount. Hence on 9th December 2008 I called customer care of HDFC Bank for the preclosure of my loan account. Also I received the confirmation call from HDFC bank on 10.12.08. The executive confirm me the amount for Rs. 64, 873.00. Next day I called again customer care for the possibility for stop of the preclosure. But at the same time I told them that I am not interested for stop of preclosure. Hence after talking them I dropped the cheque. The same cheque had been cleared from my account. On 26th December 2008 I received the statement. I surprised when I saw that there is no any preclosure amount on my credit card. They charged me the EMI amount. Hence I called customer care and this time I had spoke with Mr. Ashfaq. He explained me that the customer care executive of 11 Dec 2008 had stopped my preclosure against my call. I already asked him that I never told her for stop of preclosure. I just made enquiry for stop of preclosure. At the same time I had cleared her that I am not interested in stop of preclosure. This conversation was did on 11.12.08. I also request them to check the recorded conversation so that they will get clear picture. I already requested them to reverse the interest amount which they charged me for this period. After lodged the complaint they just made two calls without any result from them. Also I came to know that they had charged me interest for the month of Feb 08, Mar 08 and Apr 08 statement which is wrongly calculated and which was suppose to be adjusted.

          Please do the needful for solving my problem.

              I am account holder in HDFC BANK, Deer park branch Delhi, my account no.[protected]. in year 2003 i took personal loan which was repaid in year 2005 fully. suddenly in december, 2008 I saw Rs.1799/ - was debited as PDC in my mini statement of ATM. Due to this debit my cheque got bounched .
              I am unable to understand after three year how Bank can deduct for the Loan which was showing as closed in statement of Bank and moreover, they have deducted without informing me and my other cheque got bounch beacuse of this .

              please register my compliant and take necessary action the Bank .

                  Hi,

                  I have take a Floating rate home loan from HDFC Bank. I felt that they are not reducing the rate even though RBI has been slashing the Rate.
                  I took the Home Loan in Dec 2006 at 9% and now in Dec 2008 my interest rate is 11.75% which would be reduced to 11.25% on 1st March 2009.

                  As far as I understand Floating Interest rate should depend on RBI Repo rate and CRR. But, HDFC seems to be charging very different rates for almost same CRR and Repo Rate

                  At Dec 2006: CRR was 5.5% and is still 5.5%. Repo rate was 7.25% but is now reduced to 6.5%. So, I would assume that HDFC and all other HFCs should have lesser Floating rate then it was in Dec 2006 or at least same. But, HDFC used to charge 9% and is right now charging 11.25%.

                  Also, I have other issues with their operations
                  1. They favour New customers by offering less interest rate but later migrate them to higher rates. This way new customers are usually fooled but gets to pay higher rate within 3 months. They also have clueless Sales people.

                  2. The RBI and Finance Ministry has recommended that HFCs should have different interest rates for below 20 lac and above 20 lac home loans. SBI has this policy but HDFC is not doing this. They have recently decided to do it for New customers but exisiting customers are not getting this. Not able to understand why they do not want to extend it to existing customers.

                  I still feel that they are better then all other Private HFCs but way behind SBI and other PSU banks who are at least sticking to Finance Ministry or RBI instructions.

                  Also, you can not approach RBI against them since they are not regulated by RBI. When I contacted them for complaints they said there is only Consumer courts to go to.

                  If RBI says go to consumer court, then why RBI keeping the private bank money??. If they can't control on such sensitive issues (ie. where they can fool the cu. by "floating rate" name, it is like cheating), they can declare "private banks" like "private finance company" and stay away from them and customer can have accounts/loan at their own risks?

                  so that everybody without any option can go to PSU which in away proved to be safer than these "existing customer robbing" private banks!.
                  I am also a victim to this. Lets group and do a Dharna in front of HDFC Office. We should have banner against HDFC and also against Congress party who heads center. They have the power to control such injustice(via RBI actions/measures), but they are not doing so, since they are eating money from private banks. Lets regroup and put up a big rally.                       I am doing transections online thru HDFC Sec. for last 2-3 yrs. I was
                      getting Contract Note in PHYSICAL FORM and by E-mail till 15-10-08.
                      Since last 2 months I recive only e-mail notes. on enquiering I was told
                      that for physical form It will cost Rs.28 per note.(As courrier charges Rs.25/- and Rs.3 S.T.) They are using Vichare Courriers, who charges Rs.10-12 for in and arround Mumbai. They want to even earn out of Cost Cutting !!!
                      My Accountant has told
                      to get contract notes in Physical forms only for Income-tax purpose.
                      I recieved a phone call today from Ms.Seema from HDFC Sec stating that if
                      my e-mails are bounsed they will send contract notes in Physical form, does
                      this mean I close my e-mail A/c ?.
                      As per SEBI Rules it is mandatory on part of Brokers to give Contract note in Priscribed Format.
                      If this is a cost cutting measure you can send it quarterly to reduce
                      cost.
                      Please let me know legal standing as you can not expect every customer to have printing facility.

                      i am 100% agree with Dr. patel. any broker in india can not charge for physical contract note which they issue to their clients. i have legal documents from sebi that sebi has never issued any order or circulear allowing broker to charge for physical contract notes

                        1. That I invested Rs 2, 00, 000 in HDFC Standard Life Insurance (vide cheque no. 0506129 dated 13 Sep 2007)
                        2. I contacted the bank so many times to the then bank manager Mr Sudhanshu Mohan and Abhay Kumar: the policy manager, from abroad. And I was assured that your policy for Rs. 2, 00, 000 has been done (email evidence). To my surprise there was no such truth to my avail.
                        3. On 30th July 2008, I visited the Bank and I enquired about my policy of two lakh. Mr Amit Balajee met with me because Mr. Sudhanshu Mohan & Mr Abhay Kumar had left the bank. (The reasons for leaving the bank is skeptical).Then Mr Balajee disclosed verbally that only one lakh has been invested in the said policy. The effective date of policy is 02, February, 2008 as mentioned by Mr Balajee. The Manager deposited the remaining Rs 1, 00, 000 to my NRE A/c no.[protected] vide cheque no. 0038334 dated[protected] from a/c no. [protected] ( HDFC SLIC ) after 10 months .And deposited 3500/- to my wife’s a/c no. [protected] Mrs Chandani Kumari. as a compensation.
                        4. I requested Mr. Balajee to surrender my policy which has never been in force because till date I am not in possession of it. Also even if the bank offers me the policy I would not accept for the simple reasons that a bank can’t look after their customers in normal time what about after an eventuality. To this effect a written application dated 11/10/2008 has been submitted to the bank after clear assurance from the Bank Manager that the money ( Rs 1, 00, 000 ) would be remitted back to you with a handsome compensation.

                        The Under mentioned facts are to be explored.

                        I. Where my funds (Rs.1, 00, 000) were allocated for 10 months. The compensation i.e. 3500/- isn’t it too meagre. I am sure there is an embezzlement of funds by the bank
                        II. Since the policy was not created why I was not informed where as I was in touch with the bank thru emails /Phone calls and even my brother Rajeev Kr visited the bank or else should have been deposited in my account.
                        III. Why I was not informed despite my so many endeavours to know the status of my policy for Rs 2, 00, 000.
                        IV. Where are the policy letter/Bond papers? Which the bank asserted has been created (w.e.f. 02 Feb, 2008).
                        V. If at all the policy is created in my favour as they say I.e. w.e.f. Feb, 2008. Whereas the funds were debited from[protected].Why so late, The Bank played with my funds for more than 4 months.
                        VI. Who should be held responsible for this period where as I was without an insurance cover and nevertheless for one lakh only while as I was under an apprehension that I have invested 2 Lakh for better insurance cover.
                        VII. The expanses borne by me to call from abroad, personal visits to and fro Begusarai to Patna.
                        VIII. Above all the mental stress due to which I m suffering from Hyper Tension and under going treatment.

                        As I was not at home PRATIBHA madam talked to my wife and insisted her for payment, PRATIBHA madam told my wife to arrange fund from my neighbor and told so so so so many things including how is she (my wife) is not aware of credit card, she is also responsible & etc, etc. Now I wanted to know how PRATIBHA madam can talk to family members like this, then pratibha madam called up me, i told her that i will come meet her personally on FRIDAY morning at her office address WILSON HOUSE, LIC BUILDING, ANDHERI(E), MUMBAI on friday, despite of repeated request made by me for meeting her on friday, PRATIBHA madam wanted my wife to give in writing that I will come & see PRATIBHA madam on friday morning, even she asked to send fax for the same. I was shocked to listen attitude of such an established, well reputed, HDFC bank, it was an unbelievable & unforgettable experience for me, when i reached home in the night quarrel took place between me & my wife. We had heated argument,

                        Sir, I never said that i will not make any payment, I am facing financial difficulties so i just wanted to give her letter requesting hdfc bank to grant me some time period for the payment.

                        In the month of December-2008 my father was hospitalized, in the first week of February-2009 my daughter was hospitalized, & in the last week of February-2009 even i was hospitalized, i had undergone operation of appendix. I was expecting some kind of relief from HDFC bank, which you provided orally that you are going to do something for me but VERY NEXT DAY Mr Sandeep Jadhav sent his boy Mr Raj at my home and forcefully insisted my mother Mrs Lalita B. Dayama (62 years old) to make payment, even my Sanjay had asked her to sell her jewelry, utensils and repay loan taken by me, even asked Mr Raj recovery boy to sit I in my house till I return & to collect amount from society members, since that day my mother is so scared that she is crying continuously she is very much frightened & worried, Then Mr Sanjay called on mobile and spoken very loudly again & again and abused me and threaten me that his boy Mr Raj will sit at my home whole day & will collect money on behalf from the society members. Mr Sanjay finally given me deadline of 25th April, 2009 for making payment of Rs 8000/- if I fail to make payment on 25th April he was warned me that he will use all possible ways to harass me & my family members.
                        Dear Sir I wanted to draw you valid attention towards the fact that every month I am already making payments of Rs 7580/- against card no [protected] which we have settled and you are already having two post dated cheques dtd[protected] &[protected] for Rs 7580/- each with you.
                        Dear sir when I am not that kind of customer who do not want to pay then how HDFC BANK LTD can behave like this, when I am giving all kind cooperation to HDFC Bank then how can HDFC bank treat me and my family members like this. Sir now I am very very sorry to say that I helpless & I am under immense pressure and tension.                         This is what he does with the candidates, who come for the interview, 1st assuring the candidates for his employment and then pressurising him to bring FCs( FINANCIAL CONSULTANTS) & business for the company, and afterwards avoiding the candidate when the purpose is over.

                        this is the way he cheats the candidates who come for the employment in HDFC Standard life.

                        Sir, before, I had a very high image value of HDFC brand in my eyes, but now after all these, I got a very bad and horrible experience about HDFC standard life.

                        I am a senior citizen holding this account since past 25 years. Recently especially after demonetization the service of your staff is appalling. I had a recent bout of chikanguniya and despite of my ill heath, In the past one month I have been to the bank for more than 6/7 times just for the withdrawal of Rs.10, 000/- for my daily requirements but was turned away saying no money. This is absurd for a reputed bank like yours. Today once again I went to the bank and met Mr. NageshParab/Abhishek Sahu who said no money first, then said come again in the afternoon and ultimately said we will give you all Rs.2000/- notes. I just asked for a change of one note of Rs.2000/- for my daily requirements which they flatly refused. I requested them to send it across to my residence which is at a ten minutes distance since I am unable to visit the bank again and again. Is it that I asked for the moon that your staff cannot oblige? I would like to have a reply immediately.

                          I have been a CC holder with HDFC BANK for over 2 years and have never faced such abusive and threatening calls for recovery.

                          This agent from tel. number has not only been abusive but also talking of dire consequences for a delayed payment even when assured that the payments will be made in 3 days since I am out of town.

                          While it is common that such complaints and grievances do not carry any weight and will be treated as yet another trash by general public who continues to suffer either at the hands of terrorists or terror agents.

                          This kind of abuse from a respected institution like HDFC Bank or its gang member (they are nothing short of hooligans) is very hurting. I have the call recorded for proof of the conversation and the abuse.

                          To add insult to the trauma I was undergoing, my subsequent attempts (4 in all) to reach out to the customer support supervisor where smartly thwarted by the agents there. All i wanted to do is to explain my situation but no one came to my rescue.

                          I almost had a cardiac breakdown at such abuse. All this for being a customer of a bank who has been a victim of circumstances without any help in a country where even a terrorist is provided legal help.

                          It is understandable if we are victims of some crazy cranky foreign terrorists but being at the receiving end of one of the most notable institution is unimaginable. But like every normal Indian citizen, life is only fight for existence to survive today and die a bit tomorrow...

                          I COMPLETELY AGREE with the complainant. It appears that RBI consitituted under a special act, has been reduced to a toothless and clawless tiger atleast in the eyes of the banks it grants licence to conduct banking business in India. Apparently there is little control that RBI exercises over banks apart from the compliance requirments like maintenance of CRR, credit to special sectors, etc, there is however opaque evidence to suggest that RBI has done or is doing to protect the fundamental rights of citizens (read banking consumers) in India. I feel that a really vast majority (atleast more than the percentage who vote to elect the governemnts in India) of individuals in India are law abiding citizens. In fact the success of English doctrine of 'Rule of Law' has been due to 'abiding nature' of Indian citizens. Just an example in these financially turbulent times, Is it possible for crises like Subprime and the latest banking business collapse in US, to occur in India? The answer is flat 'NO' because of the vigilant eyes of the RBI to ensure compliance by the banks as to regulatory provisions-Part-I; Part-II is that Indian citizens would never think to re-securitise the assets to secure loans multiple number of times and that too at such a scale and in an organised manner!

                          There DEFINITELY is a tilt of power towards consumers in the west viz-a-viz banking hegemony v/s. fundamental rights of citizens. We can see that not only consumers brought down the banks but initial reports adduce sufficient evidence that there has been a multiplicity of securitisation of assets to secure loans from banks. But banks there never used 'recovery agents' to overrule fundamental rights of citizens, judicial process and 'Rule of THE Law' to correct their balance sheets. I wonder as to why then in India the banking companies are exercising powers which even the State of India can exercise during EMERGENCY and that too after exercising due process of law. Making threatening calls, sending recovery agents, using foul language is definitely violation of fundamental right to live and live with dignity(Article 21). It shall be noted here that fundamental right under Article 19 is also affected as citizens live under the fear of vulgar and uncivilised oratory of banking staff and recovery agents. The expression of an individual is affected (remember heart attacks cases and cardiac malfunction (this posting))!

                          Like there is the rule of law for citizens so is it for 'fictitious' creatures of law. But banking companies never resort to the judicial process of going to Debt Recovery Tribunal, filing of civil suits for recovery under Insolvency Act etc. They say it is a long procedure to recover through this 'judicial process' and hence the adoption of strong arms tactics. In that case it the failure of the heads of these big banking conglomerates to visualize the banking business scenario in India. If it is so, then they must be fired or simply banks can go packing their business from India (there is separate chapter on winding-up under The Companies Act, 1956). They must remember that we Indians are no longer ruled and do not intend to be ruled by any Company as in the past. We have a Constitution and faith in it. If these banking companies don't want to respect provisions contained in our Constitution, then 'go packing', Indian citizens don't care. Just because we are law abiding citizens doesn't create any right in favor of banking companies' to abuse our constitutional rights. It is a TAKE & GIVE (strictly in that order) situation under principle of EQUITY. There are no shortcuts. The judicial process is same for fictitious and natural persons and in case of conflict of rights, the rights of citizens shall prevail over creatures of law whose sole intention is to earn profit sans EQUITY.

                          It is a sad state of affairs that while in these matters of repayment of loans, the natural persons i.e.; the citizens are stripped of their fundamental rights ensured under constitution, the corporates (corporations, companies and corporates!) who are creatures of law and have fictitious status are getting away with the law. Agreed, that living is getting tough and it is a DOG EAT DOG situation everywhere but when it comes to comply with the law against recovery of loans from individuals and corporates it is DOG EAT CIVILIZED CITIZENS in former case and DOG LICKS DOG'S (?) in the latter case.
                          India is in great need of guidelines to ensure that banking companies do not over regulate (lest overrule) the fundamental rights of citizens guaranteed under consititution. RBI is one institution that has in the past and I believe like any other citizen that it CAN regulate the excessive force used by banks to recover debts. There is need to look with the angle of banking consumer rights and cultural background of India. There are people who would siegh with joy and reliefe on learning someday that RBI cancelled or suspended the licence of some powerful and/or MNC banking company on grounds of harassing consumers. That day it will be a little victory in the battle of citizens v/s banking companies, which again is 'Only one little part' of much larger war to secure DEMOCRACY in India.

                          I closed my credit acct.
                          Regarding this i got final settlement letter and i agreed to pay for that.
                          First cheque cleared then the collection agency never change to second cheq date to next month i insist me to pay the second installment on that month itself.
                          Regarding this, i contacted manger in HDFC Collection Mrs. Sadhana.
                          She told me that she will give the second letter very soon
                          Later she didn't contact and no more contact then
                          A month before i personally went to collection dept and discuss with the collection agency.
                          After that also they never contact me.
                          One day i went to shopping, i shocked, my saving account kept in hold.
                          After enquiry with HDFC customer dept, i came to know that account was kept in hold because of Credit card - non payment.

                          My Home loan due was not dispersed because of this.

                          Yes HDFC leaves no stone unturned. I have a 6 year old card and never failed to miss payment. But due to some circumstances one payment was skipped.
                          My payment was delayed and in all the calls and emails that they had send I clearly mentioned a date as to when I will make the payment and that was in a span to 10 days. But god give them some patience. Atleast they should know how to differentiate between a genuine customer and a fraud.

She reply it’s technical Problem but Technical Team not provided reply so she not call back me, this time I also inform about my Compliance Letter she ask me this letter they have not received. I am surprise after one week HDFC Credit Card Department Not received Compliance Letter. MAY BE IT’S COMPLAINT LETTER SO THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED If customer conform this letter he drop in you Drop box so what is your Drop Box System ? every time customer is suffer. Today I call back again and talk with Sima she reply still technical team not reply so she not call back to me and also not received my COMPLAINT letter also. I also inform check Maninagar HDFC BANK Drop Box Register ( Check and COMPLAINT both ) she reply you fax this letter but why I have paid the Fax Charges.                             I was applied for credit card in your bank 7 months prior to. But it was rejected due to some cause. Now I am trying to apply for the same and I had discussed with nearest hdfc bank. But they are say, have a mark in your account for rejected the application. So now also not eligible for to apply the credit card.



                            But the same time I had chat with customer care regarding the same(3 to 4 times), they are say that, now you can apply for a credit card. There is no any restriction.



                            So ply kindly help me on this subject matter.

                              Sir,
                              I am a credit card holder of the Centurion Bank of Punjab. Today without any prior intimation, this bank have debited money from my ICICI bank account against a payment due on the credit card. Anyhow I am unable to understand how one bank can debit money from another bank's account. This is causing a mental harrasement to me.

                              Centurion Bank of Punjab — MONEY NOT GOT BY ATM TRANSACTION BUT DEBITED FROM ACCOUNT

                              Sir,
                              I have two ATM cards one Operated by me & another by my father.On dated 03/04/2008 My father used the card no. 7462 at SB PATIALA ATM located at BILASPUR Bilasper H.P. He put the card in atm made the Transaction for withdrawl of Rs 5000/- but money not recieved.He made so many atm transactions but he did not get the money some of transactions got reversed but three are pending of Rs 5020 total amount Rs 15060 . On 1st april 08 to 3rd april 08 your the ATM network of CBOP was not working due this i also faced the problem & made so many transactions with different banks but did not get the money.
                              On dated 4/04/2008 I checked my balance & found that there is short of Rs 15060 in my account.After seing on internet it found that money has debited in three times in STATE BANK OF PATIALA ATM fo total amount Rs 15060 .
                              The Transaction Details are as follow

BILASPUR HIMACHAL PRADESH & did not get money.After so many follow up I got money in one & half month .Sir at this time this is a big amount so I need this very soon because my father is ill .
                              Here I am requesting you to please Reverse this amount as soon as possible.

                              ALSO I REQUEST TO BOTH THE BANKS CENTURION BANK OF PUNJAB & STATE BANK OF PATIALA TO SEE THEIR NETWORK INTERCONNECTIVITY.

                              Hi, This is against Centurian Bank of Punjab's ATM and HDFC. I tried pulling out cash from Centurian Bank's A/C today (04.10.2008) around 12:00 in the Defence Colony, New Delhi Branch and it showed that money had been withdrawn, while money didn't come out of the ATM machine at all. While contacting HDFC cutsomer's care they say, that Rs 1, 800 was being deducted from my salary account.

                              The Bank close to the ATM said, money will be reverted to my A/C, which has not been done as yet... The complaint with HDFC on the same is done and the complaint number is:[protected].

                              I would be pleased to know the status of my complain as soon as possible. Thanks

                                I Sanjeeva T Kotian my credit card no [protected] wants to bring to your notice that the day i have received the cc from that particular day itself i have never received the stmts as i made retail purchases from the card which i have made payments also but suddenly one day i got call stating that i have an outstanding balance of amt Rs 37497.24 when called customer care they said funds have been withdraw from atm as i have never received atm pin for my cc.No help is given from any officer from Hdfc bank just making me run from pole to pillar its been yersa i have salary acc with Hdfc bank but for the 1st time im facing such a pathetic service from bank several complaints have been lodged but no use of the same even im ready to lodge an FIR also but none of the officers are helping as per compalint taken by hdfc people its still under process & an hold is done to my account as no proper investigation is done from your end & you guy are bothering the customers.For further details you can call on [protected]

                                  Hi,

                                  On 19-Dec, I went to ICICI Bank ATM in Whitefield, Bangalore to withdraw some money. Though the ATM accepted my PIN and the amount details, it didn't dispense any money as it showed me that it is out of order. It neither gave me any receipt for this invalid transaction. But, I was surprised to see that Rs 10, 000 was debited from account for this trnsaction.

                                  Whe I approached HDFC Bank customer support, they are saying that they have already paid this money to the ICICI bank and I need to dispute this transaction by filling a form. They also said that this could take upto 35 days. Is not this ridiculous? Why should I go through all this pain for no fault of mine? Now my money is stuck and I facing so much of inconvenince. Can somebody please tell me how do I go about getting my money back? Can't these banks take the responsibility for such issues? Is this not a criminal offence to debit the money from the account without really dispensing it from ATMs

                                  On 7-4-2009 While using my atm card of Jammu and Kashmir Bank at your atm situated at Hari Singh High Street Srinagar (ATM No. 0418) and (Txn No. 2103) my transaction of Rs. 5000/= got skipped due to technical fault. The same was brought into the notice of Jammu and Kashmir Bank, Branch Residency Road, Srinagar, who have already taken the matter with your esteemed Bank for rectifying the error. You are accordingly requested to kindly take further necessary action at an earliest in this regard and the amount of Rs. 5000/= may please credited into my account No. 36229-SB (Residency Road Branch) by reverse entry, so that i may not suffer further in this regard.                                     I had taken a home loan from BANK OF PUNJAB (converted into Centurian Bank Of Punjab) CBL HOME LOAN ACCOUNT NO 79LA1221322) in my name. For the same I had requested for pre-closure of my loan account and on June 4th, 2008 received the statement for the Outstanding Loan amount from HDFC Bank, Sector-10A Gurgaon ( Haryana) wherein the total amount payable was Rs.8, 16, 945.66 including the pre-closure charges which was Rs.16854.Finally I made the payment of Rs.802635 on 15-07-08 vide Demand Draft no. 973429. Again I had received the statement regarding the outstanding loan amount of Rs. 26168.65 on 24-11-08 from HDFC Bank, Deer Park Branch New Delhi. Then again I made the payment of Rs. 26159 vide Demand Draft No. 973751 on 25-11-08 and Rs.10 by cash (RECEIPT no.[protected].
                                    I am following with the HDFC bank regularly and every time getting the same answer “We have sent request to our Mumbai office and your account will be closed in 3 days and after one week of that you will get your original documents of the property”. This reply I have listened so many times from your staff and no action has been taken so far.
                                    Dear Sir, I believe HDFC Bank is a customer-oriented bank, which is prompt and genuine in helping the customer. Believe me I was much more happy with Bank Of Punjab and afterwards Centurian Bank Of Punjab But HDFC Bank has really irritated us.
                                    This negligence and irresponsibility of your bank has caused us a serious loss in our reputation and in our business venture, which cannot be explained in this context now.
