I have been using my HDFC credit card for the past 5 years, yet I have never been able to access the EMI conversion feature. Every time I attempt to convert a transaction into EMI, the system indicates that the feature is unavailable.

This is a stated benefit of the card, and despite multiple attempts, I have received no resolution or proper explanation for this issue.

I kindly request clarification on the reason...

I had an salary account with HDFC Bank Panchkula Branch.
I left the company and moved back to my home town. I visited the local branch here in Himachal to close the account which they said that I had to visit the Panchkula branch. I could not travel down to Panchkula.
Now the bank had charged me 4000 rs as they converted the zero balance account into salary account and there was no intimation or acknowledgement from my side.br...

Transaction of Rs. 6080 was reversed on my debit card on[protected]:19:37:32.

But till now i.e.[protected]:01:04:18 amount has not been credited.

Message received from HDFC Bank:

"Transaction Reversed!On HDFC Bank DEBIT/ATM Card xx3144 Amt: Rs.6080 By MAKEMYTR9875011 On[protected]:19:37:32"

Ive loan with HDFC bank and My loan ID:[protected]. My account is Freezed because of multiple funding.

Due to unavoidable circumstances, I had to take multiple loans which is above my eligibility criteria as per bank policies. My father in law is in critical condition who can't take more than few steps and suffering from very severe COPD (chronical lung Disease), for him immediately BTVA procedure has to be done or else things will turn out to be fatal. This procedure is done only in few places in India (bangalore apollo, hyderabad Yashoda hospital). As my medical insurance doesn't cover my father in law and also my wife just delivered a baby and her insurance is also completely utilized.
We don't have any other choice than getting a loan from bank. This procedure will cost more than 7 lacs.
Just because of the situation I am in a situation where I got required loans but unable to perform his surgery because HDFC has blocked my account and all my funds are stuck in there.

I reached out to various loan centre branches like indiranagar, mahadevapura and also my bank branch manyata tech part but no one is of any help as this is been locked by credit Investigation team.

I sent numerous email to loan support team from 04/09/2024 up until last week and got a single negative responses stating that I need to close my existing loan (loan ID:[protected]. If I was in a situation of closing a loan all of the sudden then why would I prefer taking other loans at first place?? the only option for us is personal loans when emergency arises like this. I prove that I have all capabilites to pay my monthly EMI without fail then what more does HDFC bank is expecting from a person like me?? I had funds in my account but still defaulted from paying hdfc new loan because of the issues caused my HDFC credit team, collection team is sending mesages every single day and harassing me to pay EMI even when my funds are locked in your bank.

My life has become so stressful and miserable because of this incident. I don't understand why HDFC bank targets innocent like me when I promise to pay emi on time.

I really request you to help me out in this situation by releasing my account, so that I can start using my HDFC account normally and start paying my EMI on time. Please show some courtesy on my situation, I can provide whatever proofs that you are looking for on the medical procedure.

Hi I have an account in hdfc. I receive my salary in that account. They blocked my account because of my other credit card transactions. So I went and submitted all the documents regarding my transactions and gave an explanation regarding that transactions like I do swiggy and rapido part time jobs so that Petty transactions are from the customers of rapido so I said then and after that they said they'll come for the address verification....

I have been charged for not maintaining monthly balance for September and October this has not happened before...

25th Oct, 2024, received a sms from HDFC on Mandate for Rs 13527.00 could not be cancelled due to IR.

Till that day, I could see the money on hold by Bank in my account.

Its still showing pending in Gpay as awaiting for withdrawal by Bank.

The SMS on not able to refund was from bank, both Gpay and Zerodah both confirmed its Bank needs to unlock my money.

Beware of scams by Insurance companuies like HDFCLIFE especially their policy named Sanchay Plus(SPL). From bank end they sent a welcome letter to my residence address, but i couldn't collect welcome letter due to i'm out of the town during delivery time, because of welcome letter not receiving my account has been freeze. My bank has charged me very huge sum of amount without intimating it before. As Due to some financial issue I was not able to maintain the minimum balance required to maintain the bank account. As I was unaware of the fact that they will deduct around ₹ 8000+ in just one day without any prior notice or message. When I tried to revive my account it showed -600 so i thought it will only deduct 600 and remaining amount will be safe but there...

Had purchased hdfc sl progrowth super ii from hdfc life which was the biggest mistake of my life. They firstly blocked surrender for 5 years. When i completed 5 years and wanted to surrender their website did not have an option to surrender and they directed me to send an email instead. Upon issuance of email they took 2 more days to come back with a link for surrendering the policy. Once i clicked that they asked for kyc. All the while they had not even informed about kyc until when i wanted to cancel the policy. This took them 2 more days and eventually they paid me 4% less stating that the market linked scheme value was decided by market. Also to highlight when i clicked surrender value they presented a value of 1.02 crore and ultimately without any transparency they directly credited only 97 lakhs. Upon several attempts to reach out to hdfc life their customer care wont take a complaint on this regard and simply kept putting me forward to a front end operator who had no authority. Hdfc life also never informed me while selling me the policy that they will take a good chunk of money from my premium as fund allocation charges yearly and only invest the balance in the market. Do not ever invest in hdfc life. It is a big fraud and you will get better returns just by keeping an fd with nationalized bank. The customer service and complain redressal system of hdfc is abysmal.

I'm currently not using this account right now but they have claimed a maintenance charges for unused account in HDFC...

I am getting lot of commercial calls from HDFC bank even after registering to national portal and HDFC's site.

I think HDFC is sharing contact details of customers to calling agencies, where they get numbers and other details like location, job, annual income etc.

I have account in other banks too, but no banks call me and disturb me like this. This is a serious concern about privacy & safety of HDFC bank's customers. Please look into it and take immediate action on it.
