Sir,

I have purchases a Hyundai Verna CRDI 1.5 VGT through your Dealer M/S Sudeep Motors Vapi on 31.01.2007 vide thier Gate pass No. 227. The details of vehicle is as follows:

This is just to inform you that the crenk shaft of running vehicle was broken on Ahmedabad - Vadodara Express highway recentely. It was odd timming and I have no alternative to call to Express Highway Officials for help, which is on record with them. They leave the vehicle at the Exist side at Vadodara & I left with no other alternative to hand over the vehicle to a outside mechenic & left for Vapi by a state transport bus late in night.

However, I have taken special precaution and instructed to kept each & every small piece of broken parts along with original bills of Items purchased from Hyundai Out let for replacement.

If, you are interested to inspect the same for investigate the resoans of said incidance, which may help you in improvement of overall quality. Please get in touch with undersigned. I assure you whole hearted co-opretion in the matter please.

Sir, No further response received so far from anybody from your side. Is there any body to take care of such a important complain of your customer. I can not expect such a behavior of the company.

Sir, Please take up with individual concern & direct nim/her to act in a way which doesn't spoiled the image of company. Take my example, I was willing to shift to higher version of vehicle, but I am sorry to say, I have to think again twice. I need not to mention here that as far as comfort, feathers, Safety measures, Look, etc etc & finally price are more or less same in this segment of number of choice available to a customer throughout the Globe. The time, commitment & service is above all.

Yes, one important point, I missed, please don't write me to contact anybody as my time is priceless.

Please treat this as my last communication To Hyundai Motors form my life time.

- What is the net price I am going to fetch of my present vehicle strictly from company itself, no intermediatories please . Can be inspected & test drive at Silvassa with prior appointment.

- How many working days you may take to give me final answer.

- Please don't provide contact details or instruct me to contact, let them contact me..

    Hi,
    I am the owner of a Hyundai Verna CRDI,June 2008 Model. We took the delivery from Trident Hyundai,Bangalore. The car was running properly without problems for about 25000 Kms. However, the car started developing engine problems in July 2010. Investigation proved that the turbocharger has failed and has to be replaced. The same was carried out by Advaith Hyundai. After 5 months, the turbocharger failed again! The same was replaced again at Advaith Hyundai. Now 8 months down the line(Aug 20,2011), I am facing the same issue again.
    The car has run a total of 49K kms, and the turbocharger is being replaced for the 3rd time. The cost of a turbocharger is Rs. 65,000.
    I am not sure if the problem is arising because of poor quality of turbocharger or poor fitting of the same at Advaith Hyundai. This has left a very bad taste in our mouth. I was considering going for the new Verna Fluidic, but now I definitely dont want to be associated with Hyundai.
    I wish they could have come up and replaced the part free of cost since it is a repeated failure!
    I have also attached the service history of the car for reference.

      Dear Sir,
      I had purchased [B]Hyundai i10 on 16-July-2008[/B], Car No:- [B]DL 3C BF 2492[/B] on the name of [B]Sanjeev Kumar Gupta[/B]. I have been facing with the problem of clutch from the very begging, as i release the clutch the car starts to vibrate horribly. Such problems can even lead to accidents on road, so its not only the matter of product but also the matter of customers health. I've never faced such problems before with any other car. I've tried contacting the concerned department of the Hyundai LTD but every time they repaired it, the same problem would occur again and again. There's some manufacturing defect from the company . I got this clutch replaced as well, around 7-8 months back . But the same problem is occurring again and again. I m seriously very disappointed with the product Hyundai is offering. With the expectation of getting compensation from the company I've finally approached here. I would like you to look in this matter and try to resolve it as soon as possible.

        I purchased Santro Xing gls in 24/1/2011,Chassis no is :MALAA51HLBM628324 Engine no is: G4HGAM18755 Car no :GJ5- CP-5169 after second service i faced major problem of starting problem and frequently. I gave my vehicle at deleras service station (navjivan Car – varachha surat Service Station ) every time ( 4/5 times given to solve same problem ) to solve the problem, which repeatedly i face it & today also i am facing same problem. people @ navjivan service station are not able to solve problem nor they are able to understand why it is happening again & again.
        I want immediate action to be taken to solve the problem.

        all santro car is this problem hyundai chhodo aur maruti apnvo ya nano
        Go to nanavati. Definately will be able to resolve your problem

          Hi, My name is Sanjay, I bought a brand new Hyundai 120, Magna, Petrol in February 2010 from Baltic Hyundai, Faridabad, Regn No. HR 51 AG 8174, and since than I believe, I made the biggest blunder of my life by purchasing this car. I have lost peace of my mind since than.

          After 4-5 months itself, there started a noise coming out of Steering. I made a complaint to company / dealer, the problem was fixed by them, however, after 2 months again the problem started and this time dealer / company informed that the company has changed some basic design and hence, some kit in the steering needs to be changed, I again left my vehicle at the workshop, the problem was fixed and I was assured that everything is set right. But to my surprise, the same problem occurred for the third time and this time, The company changed the entire steering kit with an assurance that the problem is fixed for ever. And the biggest shock came to me when the problem occurred again and Even upto the extent that HMI did deputed its steering vendor to fix the problem, their engineer from MENDOS ( as they addressed, might not be correct name) fixed the problem with 200 % assurance that now the problem will never crop up.

          In spite of all this I am facing the same problem again for last 2-3 months. I have made a fresh complaint, spent the whole day at the dealer’s workshop today, i.e. 19.08.2011, however, no solution is given to me . I have been running from post to pillars to get this problem fixed, talking to HMI’s customer care executive / Sr. Executive and other officials but in vain. Not received any further course of action at their / my end.

          Its my sincere piece of advice that people should be very cautious about this vehicle before buying. In the local market also I have come to know that this vehicle has a history of noise in suspension / steering.

          Now, since the vehicle is under warrantee and I have tolerated enough, given vehicle for four times to Hyundai workshop, I am planning to move to consumer Court. If the manufacturer company itself is not in a position to get this problem fixed than who else can do this…?

            I have availed corporate discount from Trident Hyundai showroom,Hosur Road in Bangalore but they have given me discount of Rs 28000 instead of 32000 Rs When I asked for clarification they told me We have applied
            VAT on discount as well ,So VAT calculated on 32000 RS has been deducted as 4000 Rs(14 %),I never found this type of component before because If I am purchasing something so VAT should be applicable on
            Cost only not on discount ,They have mentioned 14 % VAT on net ex-showroom car price in the paper its understandable but 4000 Rs is not mentioned anywhere in retail invoice and When I asked for break-up they told me , We have deducted VAT(14%) on discount as well but its not mentioned anywhere in retail invoice,Please help me out because I never found any VAT on discount anywhere If your showroom really paying (14%)VAT so It must be mentioned on the paper because they are paying VAT to government.

              I strongly agree to all the mishappenings with the i20 owners, since i am also one of you , who's using i20 crdi sportz since my 2010.
              Bought it from Sharayu Hyundai Navi Mumbai. had visited the service station and had to keep the car wid them for more than 10 times for the same suspension and the steering complaint, but still have not got it resolved.
              I think by raising a common voice and registering a complaint at Indian Consumer Complaint board, we ashould ask Hyundai to give us compensation for selling us a faulty product with lower quality and less examined parts and thus causing us the tremendous mental harrasment and wasting our time on its repairs.
              Let us drag them into court and demand for our right. I urge to everyone in this forum and the ones who are reading it to lodge the complaints and post here again after doing the same.
              Let us teach Hyundai India a better lesson, so that the future fellow buyers of i20 could get benefitted.

              Hyundai i20 car — Faulty Product

              HI,

              I am an owner of Hyundai i20 car which I bought in the month of October last year i.e.2010. I am facing lot of problem since the time I bought this car. I have even registered a complaint in Hyundai India but of no use.

              I am a victim of faulty piece and feel cheated by the company and the dealer (Shrenath Hyundai) who also is not helping my cause. I ahve already been to workshop 5 times in last 3.5 months.

              Kindly help me in filing a compalint against the company.

                Regret to inform you till date I have not got the final resolution for the Hyundai I10 which has some technical proble which cannot be identified by the local incompetent dealer..

                Subject – Complain against Hyundai I10which has some technical issue which cannot be identifed by the local incompetent team which has given me money loss of 12000 and time loss(Daily routine got disturbed)...

                I have been coordinating with local Hyundai dealer of satna whose detail is mentioned below:-

                My car has some technical issue due to which it was sent to local showroom for resolution and finally the showroom team kept it for 4 days and returned saying the issue has been rectified and charged RS-1000...2 days later again the problem occured and they suggested that your car has a issu with battery,please change --I finally bought a new battery for 29000 and trown my old EXIDE original battery and finally loaded the battery and left for the vacation with complete family,50 km away from the city the car started with same problem and whole family stuck at mid of the road just because of incompetent team of hyndai I10 who are even not aware about the actual problem.Somehow i managed to book a rented car and send my family to the destination....

                In totality i occured a loss of 10900 and loss of time..

                Shoeroom charge--1000
                New battery -- 2900
                Old battery which was declared dead by hyundai team--4500
                Car booked on rent at mid of journey--- 2500

                I am again asking showroom guy to collect the car tomorrow and check what the actual issue and get back with the final solution..

                  Sub: Excessive black smoke emission and replacement of car
                  Dear Sir,
                  I bought an I 20 CRDI magna with emission norm Compliance BS IV on 14th july last month. Since the day I bought the car it has a problem of emitting black smoke. I visited the dealer twice and every time they changed the fuel, saying that diesel may be of bad quality. But the problem still persists. When the problem could not be rectified, the service manager of that work shop ( oja Hyundai, guwahai) ultimately said that this much of smoke may be normal with diesel cars.
                  To quantify the amount of smoke emitting, I got emission testing of my car done in Meghalaya pollution control board. They found 30 HSU of smoke emission. They commented that though it is well below the permissible level i.e.65 HSU, but it is definitely abnormal with a brand new car. According to them smoke emission is like a 10 years old Tata Indica car.
                  I, here with, have attached few pictures and videos of my car showing how much black smoke It emits. Check the videos and photos and clarify whether this much smoke is normal with this car Please Don’t blame the fuel this time, I request you to replace the as early as possible if this much of emission is considered abnormal.
                  I lodged two complaints in customer care SR Acknowledgement:[protected] and SR Acknowledgement :[protected]. I sent several emails to following: 1. [protected]@hmil.net, 2. [protected]@hmil.net 3. Jayjeet sarma ( [protected]@hmil.net) . But unfortunately nobody contacted me till now. So I am not going to waste my time sending you mail again. I am really disgusted by this insensitive, unprofessional and escapist attitude towards customer’s grievances.
                  Kindly take the matter seriously otherwise I wont have any option but to approach media and appropriate court of law.

But they delayed the date of delivery by 20th July 2011 and Mr. Chauhan from Commercial Hyundai was trying to convince me to buy some other brand car such as chevrolet , volkswagon etc. and cancel the hyundai verna fluidic . But despite of his several attempts we didn't change our mind as we are using hyundai cars from last 4 years and are very happy with the quality and the service of the company . Now as per his committment they have to provide us the car on 17th august 2011 and on several attempts he is not answering our calls and we don't have any update wheather we 'll get the car or not . But they are providing the same cars by charging some extra amount of money from the original cost of the car to deliver the car on the priority basis which is a very negative point for the hyundai company if they are also involved in the same.

                    Hope to get some possitive response from the hyundai company and hope they'll deliver us the car asap.

                      I am very upset with the quality and service of I20 I purchased in last March. They are trying to just kill time. They say that there is nothing wrong with my car's ac.

                      So I would like to request you to kindly tell me if I can go to a neutral authority to get the dispute sorted out. Further I would like to request you to kindly guide me the process of consumer court. Earlier I used to file my complaint on core.nic.in and I used to get great results. But it is not working these days.

                        I had booked a fluidic verna sxi diesel white on the 18/05 with spring hyundai under the name of M/s DSG Carriers Pvt Ltd.and was committed a delivery date of 20 days . on the 18th i was the 14 or 15th person to book the car with spring hyundai . after that i got to know that hyundai motor company had cancelled my allotment and that i would get my car by the mid of july , then i was told end of july and then i was told 1st week of august n now im told that ill have to wait another 1.5 months. Is this some kind of joke . On the roads i can now see many DIESEL vernas plying , so where are they comming from ?? black marketing or some magic? I was further informed that Hyundai Motor Company only provides 3 diesel vernas to spring hyundai per month for sale . If you are being biased with your dealers the you should advertise it publically as to which dealer gets priority and who doesnt. I had sent a complaint earlier also but it seems that you are totally UNAFFECTED by it . None of your executives even bothered to even call me and ask me my problem I guess they are too busy advertising for this Verna n getting the bookings done n then Thanking People in the newsprint for having over 10000 cars already booked. Please also Advertise in the news print about How many could Hyundai successfully deliver?
                        On the basis of the information of the Dealer I had already found a purchaser for my old car who is constantly questioning me about delivery and im sure ill loose him as a buyer. I had to pay the EMi for my old car for 3 months on which my Interest component is going to waste as it could have been utilized for the emi of my new car , I had to get my Insurance of the car renewed, which again is a waste for me < the 50,000 i blocked for booking is going waste ( interest on that) The resale value of my car has gone down by 30,000 , my new cars loan approval got lapsed ... overall i suffered a loss of appros 50 to 60 K ,mental harrasment extra..... will Hyundai Motor Company India bear my losses ???
                        at the time of booking i was offered early deliveries by Volkswagen for their Vento , then lately even Ford is promising delivery within 45 days for their new fiesta.
                        If Hyundai cannot manufacture cars and deliver it then you should address it publicly and remove all advertisements for your Verna. It is not my problem if Hyundai does not get its engines for the diesel verna from korea. then you should have addressed it publicly. Its a Shame for a company Like Hyundai to harass its customers.n that too Loyal old customers. who have used 3 hyundais (Santro , Getz and Tucson) already n still face this problems.
                        I demand a written explanation for the delay and expected delivery date from Hyundai Motor Company India and not from your dealer. Because i Booked my car at the goodwill of Hyundai Motor Company India and NOT Spring Hyundai. I would request you to get my car delivered within 10 days or else i want my booking money back with the interest for 3 months along with the compensation for the financial loss and mental harassment caused. Along with the cancellation I want a written apology letter from Hyundai Motor Company India that They could not deliver a car in 3 months in spite of me booking the car within a few days of launch so that the world can also know how trustworthy Hyundai is.

                        Hoping that someone responsible enough would look into this matter and get it solved.

                        they told me to deliver all the car within one month. they gave one car after 15 days and now they are asking 50,000/- extra money on each car. what should i do now ?

                            I have booked hyundai Verna fludic on june 6th , before booking the sales rep from the company had promised me to get the car by the end of june but failed to do so . Then the representative was changed, I went to show room in july a new representative was give charge of my file his name is Mr Mithuan he had promised me to deliver the car in first or second week of august. Then in the end of july i went to confirm the date of delivery he told me i can get only after 3 months since my waiting list was 8 but the previous representative had told me that my waiting list was 4 with a span of one month from 4 i became 8 when i questioned to him regarding this he behived very rudely and he treated me as though i was a begger and spoke to me in loud and abusive way. i had asked for the written explination why the delivery was delayed showroom didnt provide me and told me that i will get a mail from the company in day or two , now it is almost 2 weeks i didnt get any explanitation. I want to inform you they have given me false promise and made me to book the car and now they are playing the game

                              Hyundai i10 Magna 1.2 — Engine giving abnormal sound when start the car in standing condition

                              I have bought i-10 Magna 1.2 from OSL Hundai Angul in August 2010.
                              Problem :
                              1)Initially this Car given me only 9 to10 KM/Ltr before 1st servicing .After complained they assured me that after 1st service it will show at per.1st service done but problem unsolved.Its again shown 10 KM/Ltr once again.Again I moved to service center than they did somethimg then it shown 13/14 KM/Ltr.
                              My question If Hundai saying its gives u 19.5 Km/Ltr where its evidence ? Atleast it show 17/18 Km/Ltr.But its not happening in real.Service canter persons not giving proper feedback.

                              2)Before 2nd service My enginee gives abnormal sound in Idle start condition even if before running.I moved to OSL hundai that my service center Angul,Orissa,India. but they didn't feel any sound but I am unsatisfied.They said me mud flap is rubbing in wheel but that was not issue because in Idle also it has given some humming Sound.
                              I returned back but this sound increased then day by day.So I went for 2nd service.At checking I found there is sound from enginee but in idle condition when clutcth applied sound getting stopped.So they told me one bearing at clutch has damaged .So they replaced it.Unfortunately I was not at site ,So I donot known what they did.Back home I have checked the car in my home.But surprised I have not seen any change in sound.After asking OSL Hundia Angul,Orissa, they replied me they have changed the bearing.
                              My question if they changed how the same sound coming form engine ?
                              3)My fuel tank level indicator is not working properly.When I am feeling full of tank level indicator showing full .But after running 40/50 Km its level is not getting down.After 150 Km its suddenly getting down.My service center people is not agreeing in this matter.They speaking me it happens like this.

                              Above problem that I am facing within 6 months of purchasing of Car.So Pl I want complete service and help from Hundai for this problem

                                I purchased an i10 Santro from Novelty Hyundai, Pathankot on 05.08.2009. As I was eligible for the benefits of Exchange Bonus of Rs. 15,000/- + Corporate Bonus of Rs. 4,000/- within 90 days from the date of purchase of the veh. I did not receive the full Exhhange Bonus of Rs. 15,000/- but received only Rs. 10,000/- vide Cheque No. 706989 dt 18.01.2010 for Rs. 10,000/-, less Rs. 5,000/- and very late after repeated requests. I still did not receive Corporate Bonus of Rs. 4,000/- despite my requests and lapse of much time. It is on the record that dealer had paid payments to other customers, who purchased vehicles after me.

                                It is requested to take up the matter on priority and my remaining amount be released. The company prefers to remain silent on the matter when taken with them.

                                Hyundai — corporate benefit and exchange benefit

                                i bought a santro xing GLS an april 2009 from ahuja automobiles , kosmo hundai amritsar and even after one year has passed the agency i have not got my corporate benefit and exchange benefit.

                                i am not the sole person cheated but there are so many others who are victims. thought hundai has cleared all the benefits way back in january 2010, the agency people are not interested in paying back the amount to the clients.

                                i have written to hundai but all in vain..
                                Your response is very very poor and slow. I lodged the complaint with you on 21.07.11 but till date I did not receive any response either from your side or from Hyundai. Keep in view the genuineness, please solve the complaint at the earliest.

                                  I have purchased the new 2011 Hyundai Verna Fluidic, and was forced to buy insurance through the dealer as it is a "corporate policy". Nowhere is this policy shown in writing, as it fundamentally violates customer rights and interests, not to mention India anti-monopoly laws. I obtained a competitive insurance quote (less by Rs. 7000) and asked the dealer to consider it, however was told that it would amount to a discount so it was not possible. I have filed complaints with the regional sales offices and Hyundai corporate, but have not received any responses in spite of several follow ups. They are just exploiting customer needs for a new car, by extracting extra money through insurance and registration premiums and commissions. The senior executive at the Hyundai dealer (Pramukh Hyundai in Prabhadevi) assured me he would connect me to the Western region sales officer, but they have been avoiding repeated calls and requests for an explanation of this absurd policy - which only means they are considering themselves guilty.

                                  I would like to get an answer from Hyundai's corporate compliance department regarding this issue, and a refund for the extra amount I was forced to pay towards my vehicle.

                                      I am a victim of mechanical failure of i-10. Couple of weeks back I was driving on Bangalore-sarjapur ,I just wanted to avoid unlevel edge of the road so slightly turned my steering towards right, at that moment my steering took sudden right and I could not steer back my vehicle. The vehicle went out of control and did not stop as brake also did not respond inspite applying fully. The vehicle crossover to the otherside of the road and fell upside down in 4-5 feet trench. I was trapped inside the car and tried opening the vehicle but unfortunately it got jammed. I was scared to death for any explosion, the local people came to rescue and I could come out of the car. Seat belt and air-bag were my life saver. During this whole accident my i-10 car got fully damaged. This has been reported in local police station.
                                      When reported about the EPS malfunction with service centre, they completely denied of any malfunction. I had written to Mr. H.W Park, MD CEO , although I got answer from their customer Care but no convincing answer for addressing EPS malfunction and mechanical failure in i-10s. As a survivor of the accident resulted due to malfunction of the i-10, I feel it is my responsibility to make people aware o[censored]nderlying malfunctions in i-10. If my accident was fatal nobody would have known about the accident and as any other accident would have blamed the driver. In my 22 years of driving motorised vehicle, I had never faced any malfunction, this one could have been disaster.
                                      Who, if not Mr. Park would take the responsibility of such malfunctions and the accident resulting. People are putting hardcore earn money to buy i-10 which they never know can give them such a horrifying experience. I urge people who are reading this post to make their family and friend aware of this malfunction in i10 and discourage them to buy/drive this death vehicle. In response to my complain, Hyundai has conveniently denied from any malfunction as vehicle is fully damaged.
                                      It is very unfortunate that even I after knowing the underlying facts on these malfunctions in i-10, Hyundai is keeping quite and keep doing business and playing with human lives. I wish I had read the online reports before buying i-10. If accident could have been fatal if any oncoming traffic hit my vehicle, nobody could have replaced me for my two small children and family.
                                      This malfunction in i-10 should be made available to common people so that they can be saved from such accidents. Life once lost can not be compensated.

                                        I just bought this brand new car and while travelling I found out that the leg space next to the driver's seat was getting wet all the time. I took it to the Hyundai service center at mulund and they told me that there was a defect with the air-conditioning pipe in the car. Since this was a manufacture defect, they told me that it would be taken care of by the company itself. The company spokesperson told me that it was a small issue and would be taken care of within a day. I have been visiting their service center ever since and they just keep telling me that the spare part is not yet available. Now the carpet in my car is emitting a foul smell due to this. I told them about this and they just keep telling me that work will be done as soon as they receive the spare part.
