Respected Sir,
Since I have purchased a brand new Hyundai I20 car after spending my hard earned money, I have never had a smooth drive at all as it has a serious persisting manufacturing defect. The air conditioner system of this above referred car is having serious manufacturing defect and bursts frequently thus putting me and my family life in danger.

The details are as follows :-

. I can strongly say that I have been cheated by Hyundai by taking the full value of the car and providing me with a defective car. This repeated instance of taking new vehicle again and again for repair has put me under huge discomfort, mental tension, agony and am feeling high pressures on heart like undergoing torture.

We experience the same problem...purchased brand new or supposed to be brand new i20 with many defaults. We have been told a stone hit the condensor, this the reason why AC not working. I am awaiting reply from customer service, as the agent or dealer are not at all interested to assist? After searching on google - you realize you've been taken for a ride as this is a DEFINATE PROBLEM of the i20 range. I feel cheated and taken for a ride... I will not recommend anybody to buy the i20 - as a person could or may still have delt with problems, but it is with regret that I have to say Hyundai dealers are not interested to assist ... they mos have received there money..why bodder? I'm waiting for customer care services reply tomorrow - if not satisfied.. will take it further to court if need be?

    I know it is not a part of your work to go with customer complaint.

    But below is the complaint i have registered with Hyundai with all proof and today (7/06/2011) at 3.50 pm,i come to know that my car is dispatched from Chennai on Feb 2011 and my car is not having BS IV engine,but BS III engine.

    Further to this it was informed to me that Hyundai can't do anything on this and it has to resolve at dealer level.

    It is shocking that Hyundai works with such a dealer,who cheat with their customers.

    Well as a Hyundai i request you to take some action on this or i have to take a legal guidance for the same.

    Also believe it doesn't fit in Hyundai corporate and management philosophy

    Looking for support from Hyundai in maintaining the trust i had put while buying my first car.

    WHOM SO EVER IT MAY CONCERN...

    Registrion date: 28/07/2010
    Car : i20 Magna
    We booked our car in July 2010 from Kundan Hyundai,Pune (PCMC) and also got delivery somewhere approx 24th July 2010.


    As per above my first service is suppose to be in October.


    When i approached Kundan service department in october,they told me that,i have taken my car in March,so as per that first service is suppose to be in June.


    As per Kundan record and Hyundai delhi,my car is delivered in March 2010.Even in Kundan record the phone number and address was wrong.


    I questioned to kundan manager and the sales lady Ms Vijya who sold car to me and the reply i got:"WE BOOK CAR IN SOMEBODY'S NAME IN ADVANCE,SO THAT WE CAN DELIVER FAST"


    In my Smart card,it is showing Car Mgf Dt: 04/2010


    My car is missing in-built USB port and also i have a doubt that whether it is having BS VI engine or not?


    Question:


    How in smart card it can show mgt of 04/2010 ,when as per hyundai delhi and kundan records it is delivered in march?
    The car which is manufactured after April 2010 have a compulsion of BS VI engine,not the car manufactured before that and i am sure my car is missing that.
    The new i20 ,which is manufactured in April or may 2010 is having inbuilt USB,where is my car is missing that. Because old model was not having that.


    I already discuss this with Kundan manager,but in vain


    My first complaint to Hyundai delhi was on march 29th.They didn't gave me complaint reference no,as customer care executive mentioned that it is typical kind of complaint,so my phone number will be my reference number:[protected]


    I got call from Hyundai delhi on 2nd April


    when no update,again followed up with Hyundai delhi on May 1st and i got complaint reference no,as mentioned subject line.


    Followed with Hyundai delhi again on 3rd and customer care executive mentioned he will take care of my complaint on priority basis.


    Got call from Kundan and manager told me to come back to me with the solution.


    Again no feedback wither from kundan and hyundai delhi.


    Got call on 24th may from Kundan,just to know an update about my complaint.


    Again called Hyundai delhi on 24th may and executive mentioned that no update and gave me the email id to send the mail.






    please note it is a forgery case and till date Hyundai didn't take any action.


    My request to Hyundai to take care .


    I have discuss whole issue with lawyer too and also involving media soon.

      i'm heera chand jain from hyderabad,andhra pradesh. i had booked a hyundai verna fluidic(VTVT SX 1.6 HIGH) from SRI JAYALAKSHMI AUTOMOTIVES PVT. LTD. situated at himayath nagar,hyderabad.
      i visited the showroom on 23 may 2011 and i was assured by the sales executive that i would get my new car with in ten days or before that if possible .
      i paid a booking amount of Rs.0.50 Lakhs on the same date and got a reciept for it behind which the sales executive wrote that the car would be deliverd with in ten days or before that.being assured of getting the delivery on time i made my plans to go out of station where i was supposed to be joined by my family members.
      mean while i made all the necessary arrangements required by the finance company.i made it clear that the finance team had no problem issuing delivery order to SRI JAYALAKSHMI AUTOMOTIVES PVT. LTD.
      We have been enquiring about the same for the past five days and now,on the day promised,the dealers have backed off saying that it can not be delivered before 10 june 2011.
      as a result i had to cancel my bookings on the last spot and suffer heavy expenses and problems.

        hello sir maine abhi 5 months pahle hi car li thi jo ki abhi sirf 3000 kms hi chal payi hai wo b sirf single hand me hi rahti hai aur koi nai chalata aur bahut hi safely chalti hai phir b itni jaldi uski clutch plate kharab ho gayi iske pahle first service ke time b clutch me problem thi par service ke bad use thik bataya gaya ..ab kharab hone par dealer kah raha hai ki 4000 tak ka bil aayega ..aur kah rahe hai ki apki fault hai compamy ki nai par maine to pahle hi complaint ki thi iski par ab charges kyo

          It is matter of pitty that customers are not being satisfied.
          (i) Reception- No one receive at reception and no security.
          (ii) On 31 May,2011 visited to keep vehicle ready for 01 Jun,2011. When visited to collect vehicle after 24 Hours. Vehicle was dirty. Wasted over 1 and half an hour to get vehicle ready.
          (iii) Service- Cleanliness of the vehicle very poor( Nothing done) No polishing, No Vaccume used. Even my self ask to do this No work only baseless reply by the cleaners.Lady supervisor no use.
          (iv) Billing- Prior to one day informed but at the time of billing, billing correct. Delay in producing bill. Cash collection was active and fast.
          (v) After receiving payment for the bill. No thanks No formalities.
          (vi) Over all No use of service it is not sure that technical service has been carried out or not since, cleanliness is very poor.

            I purchased Hyundai Inverter + Battery HP-18000 (S.No. 323194) on 03/12/2009 with warranty of 24 months on Inventor and 18 months on Battery from the shop Shree Deo Electronics, City Centre, Sector- 4, Bokaro Steel City (Jharkhand)-827004. The battery give back up problem in Feb. 2011 & problem was duly reported to Deo Electronics, City Centre, Sector- 4, Bokaro Steel City (Jharkhand)-827004. He is told me Battery fully low down so, one time fully charged by charger. So, I do battery fully charged. Thenafter problem is continue. So, I complaint done many time. Then Deo Electronics given me Customer Care Service (Jharkhand), Phone No[protected] & do complain. Then problem reported to Luminous Power Technologies Customer Care Service (Jharkhand), Phone No[protected] dated on 13/04/2011 under Complaint No. RNC 5395. Than after service engg. come & check up battery & give a report me send battery service centre, Ranchi by through main distributor, Dhanbad. I have given battery handover dated on 15/04/2011 to distributor Hyundai, Dhanbad. But distributor Hyundai, Dhanbad battery send to Ranchi delay. What resion why battery send delay to Ranchi service center. Battery recived ranchi dated on 07/05/11 & check up & given report dated on 18/05/11 battery dead & rejected due to 13th Months late selling by shop, & asking me warranty cover by date of menefaturing. How it is possible in the warranty card in mention warranty cover 18th months from date of purchased. I have also complain to head office Luminous Power Tech. customer care, Delhi dated on 18/05/11 & Complaint No.- IN[protected]. Than after no action has been taken. I have many time complain done to Delhi & he is told me every time company representative visit & attend your complain. But still now not any company representative visit & attend to sort out the problem.
            So, I request to you pls. note my problem & rectify as soon as possible.

              Complaint Details

              I had purchased the Hyundai i10 vehicle (Chassis number MALAN51CLBM815398A, vehicle number OR05AN4793) on[protected] and on[protected] took the vehicle to their workshop for 1st free
              servicing (invoice number H[protected]. The vehicle had run only 2508 Km when it was handed over for servicing. While coming back after servicing, the rear left side tyre got busted on the high way
              (NH-5) at a point which is just 5 Km from Cuttack. On checking, it is observed that there was about 1 inch through cut on the side of the tyre (not on the portion which comes in contact with the road)
              through which air has leaked. I would like to mention that I travelled almost 500 Kms from my place of work on NH and gave the vehicle for servicing. There was no problem absolutely till vehicle was
              given for servicing. The vehicle was thoroughly checked by OSL before they took it inside for servicing. It is a brand new car with company fitted tyre, vehicle is hardly 3 and half month old and run
              only 2508 Km. I am sure, the tyre must have been damaged by OSL personnel while carrying out the servicing work. I expect immediate free replacement after the tyre got busted I used the Stepney
              and reached Bhubaneswar where I was staying. I gave a telephonic call to Mr. Nilamani sahu of OSL and told about the problem. He told me to contact Mr. Himansu Sekhar Samal ( Tel No [protected]) . I contacted him and informed about the problem. He started telling me that OSL is not responsible for this type of Customer problems as the tyre is from M/s Bridgestone and the individual has to come to OSL, take a letter and go to M/s Bridgestone office in Bhubaneswar and take their opinion. He disowned the responsibility of helping me in this regard. Then I repeatedly wanted to contact Mr. Nilmani sahu, but he intentionally did not attend to the call. The matter is reported to Complaint help line of M/s Hyundai Motors - Mr. Nisika and the Complaint id number is[protected]. On[protected] at about 8:28PM, a person from OSL came with a letter addressed to M/s Gugunani tyre of Bhubaneswar and handed over the same to me saying that I have to go to M/s Gugunani tyre and hand over the letter to them and they will do the needful. Leaving aside my personal work, I went to M/s Gugunani tyre with lot of hope. They saw the letter and told me that we are not supposed to entertain such letters and why they have sent you to us.

              M/s OSL has harassed me and has not owned responsibly, showed high level of indifferent attitude, did not attend the calls and so forth and so on. The company has to replace the burst tyres with out any charges because the car is still under the warranty period.
              Reason for Complaint
              Defect in the product during warranty / maintenance contract period; Product caused inconveniences; There could be damage caused during servicing of the vehicle which they suppressed.

              What I want :

              Ms OSL HYUNDAI -CUTTACK should replace TYRE with similar or superior TYRE; Accept the return of the TYRE and issue a full refund of the price; Pay compensation for damages / inconveniences caused to me.

                with further reference to the enclosed mails i regret to inform you that neither Modi-hyundai or Hyundai motors India ltd is interested in resolving my problems & issues but after 4-5 days of followup i took the car to the Modi hyundai showroom and i tried to call Mr.Vivek Modi first he didn,t pick up the cell phone then when i called through the showroom no he pickup the phone but i was not given proper response then after some time Mr Vivek Modi was in office i tried to meet him i was told to wait for 10 minutes, but since there was no response and he didn,t call me upto 45 minutes i again reminded the operator and he denied to meet me and told he is busy and it seems as if i have made a mistake by buying HYUNDAI ASCENT CAR because i have to take the car to garage every week and as if i don't have any other work to do and my time has no values.
                so looking into all the facts i have left the car in your Modi Hyundai showroom with GM Mr. Boney Fernandez and you are requested to
                either give me a new car or take the car back or i am going to consumer court for the harrassment and the defective car given to me.
                kindly look into the matter at the earliest

                time RPM , Fuel & Tempreture all come on 0 (zero) and i called your helpline no he is telling if the car is runing you come to Mumbai and

                show us that time i called Your GM & Mr.Mohite but thay didn't pickup the phone



                secoundly i called on[protected] &[protected] times to Your GM & Mr.Mohite but thay didn't pickup the phone the car's RPM , Fuel & Tempreture meter are all on 0 (zero) till now





                so you are kindly requested to look into the mater as the car is giving lots of problems and i am of the opnion that i have been given the defective piece so my car replaced should be replaced

                Secondly i would like to inform you that i am using Hyundai accent car from last 8 years and i was very satisfied and inspite of having many other options like Maruti, Volkswagon,... i again purchased

                Hyundai accent car , but this time i am disappointed with my purchase of Hyundai car as i feel i have given a faulty and defective piece , because i was unable to start my car the very next day . even today if i have drive my car for 30 – 40 kms and if i switch off the engine then i have to wait for an hour so that the car cools down and i can restart it again . There are many other problems like : if one the power window is used the other doesn’t work , the viper blades have worn out without using , window glass rubbers are worn out and i am surprised that a 4 – 5 months old car is giving all these problems and i think that i have been given the defective piece so i am of the opinion of my car replaced .

                I have that you will do the needful in the above matter and obliged .

                  I purchased an hyundai i10 (once voted the car of the year),i have seen this car of the year engine ceased 2 times , vibration , gear box issue , noise ,average just after the first service., i relied on shiel hyundai mathura and complaint that was moved to lucknow and i was appointed to show the car in delhi . Great !!! i run there they took the car and tell me to deliver in the evening on 25 may 2011 , they called me in the evening for the delivery , thanks to god that i take the test ride there and got the result there only...same issue with the car and they took that back the same day saying ,WE WILL DELIVER YOU TOMORROW. GREAT SERVICE!!! Now i am totally frustrated ,spend my mind , frustrated spent ruppees staying in hotel in delhi , but still not satisfied . i Dont want this product anymore ,i am a medium earning guy and want to get this car replaced anyways.

                    Poor service quality

                    I find Garve Hyundai to be a poor quality dealer, though they have got a ward recently from Hyundai for 2nd best dealer.. to my utter surprise..

                    Last year, I got my ascent serviced and a few weeks later it started making peculiar noise in the front wheel upon braking. I went back to them, they checked and foudn that the new brake pads put by them, was not bolted. Teh bolts had fallen off anf the brake...

                    we had booked santro lpg gls on 9th of march 2011 and we were told that it will deliever on 4th april 2011. but today is 20th of maY 201y. now it cross more than 70 days(2.5 months) we had not received our car yet. another thing is that we told them that we want to finance our car through nationalise bank i.e. state bank of india, but they are forcing us to finance it from HDFC bank. we refuse to finance from HDFC bank thats why they are not issuing us our car. i think they get some commission from HDFC BANK. we have confirmed from other hyundai branches for the time of dilevery for a new santro lpg..they are saying it will deliever with in 20 days...so i dont know why samara hyundai is taking so long. there should be some action aganist that dealer.

                      Hyundai Motors fraud mail

                      I got a mail that my CV has been shortlisted from Monster by Hyundai Motors.

                      I was asked to remit 12,500 as a refundable deposit to attend the interview and that the interview will be held and 55 out of the 62 candidates who they have shortlisted will get the job. The job will pay 60k to 2 lakhs per month salary.

                      Then I enquired with the Hyundai Company and they say this is a fraud.

                      Sir,
                      This is to invite your kind attention that I am an owner of Hyundai i10 sportz car purchased on March-11.form PL Hyundai jaipur. Sales person at PL Hyundai has diverted our mind from I10 Magna to Sportz with low price band and higher modal ,more specious and techniques than Magna . They have shown us one car given us another year end car modal.
                      We received delivery of the car on 23 March 2011 and hand written insurance cover policy note where the car modal (year of Manufacturer) shown as 2010 when I have asked about the car modal he has confirmed me that car the modal is 2011 and there is typographically minor error which will be changed in original cover note. Later on (approx. 20-25 days) after long follow-ups we had received the original Policy and RC where the car modal still showing year of Manufacturer is 2010 and both the sales person from PL motors assured us that they will provide us the changed policy cover note and RC.
                      Last week I noticed that on front left wheel Apron (where the kappa logo tagged) is looks painted, Many friends and even technical people ( Car mistri ) told me that the car is accidental and repainted, I bought this notice to the sales executives at PL Motors & dealer also but they did not admit their fault. How a esteemed company can make such great mistake where customer problem is not considered seriously?
                      For the past 6 years I have been a faithful Hyundai customer. But my experience was really awful. I never imagined and pity the company and its dealership. I regret my decision to deal with HMIL and ignoring the leader the MARUTI. I need my Money back or need new car..

                        The problem for that our Verna was admitted at Sanjay hyundai ...that prblem does not recovered after replacing the parts that are guided by the mechanics and supervisers of the showroom..
                        including general manager also.

                        After paying the bill near about 2 lakhs the main problem of the car is not covered...
                        my car was at showroom(Sanjay Hyundai ) for 1 months .and at khothari hyundai for 20 days..

                            i bought santro from hyundai in chennai on septemeber 2010. when i gave my car for 2nd service to hyundai showroom, i found letter H from hyundai label was missing on the back side of the car.. i explained officials about missing letter due to inferior quality. .but they argued with me that it might have been removed somebody intentionally.. just for the matter of Rs.400 they argued as if i made amistake...
                            i was totally unhappy the way they respond as i bought this car 3.65lakhs and trying to argue for Rs.400
                            i want them to replace this missing letter as i hardly take the car out of my garage.

                            Please go through the below mail regarding the service of my vehicle.

                            Made - Santro Zip Drive
                            Given for Service on - 28th March 2011
                            complaints - 92000 kms service (oil change, filters replace, milage check, pickup check and door settings)


                            As per the above details written on hyundai service sheet i left the car for service on 28th march 2011. I clearely told the service executive to check the vehicle properly for the above concerns if it takes 2 days late. after 4th day when i called they told its still work is going on. After 2 days again i called to check the vehicle but executive informed due to festival it took some time and will send the vehicle after 2 days. Finally after 2 days vehicle has been sent to my address and pick up problem still exists. I sent the vehicle back. After 4 days i again called service center and got information about the vehicle is pending due to non availabilty of above part.

                            Request you to please address my below concerns.

                            1) If Hyundai is not able to supply spares for 7 yrs old model then why should they market such cars ?
                            2) Why is the delay of 17 days to update customer ?
                            3) If such part is not able to fit why cant they send request and import from different place ??
                            4) Is Hyundai a responsible and customer friendly company ?
                            5) After sales servicing is the best option to improve in any business. If not please don't promote and cheat customers.

                            If anyone go to maruti service center with 15 yrs old model they will get the car conditioned like new vehicle.

                            Await for ur quick response asap.

                              I have purchased Hundai i20 Sportz from Subdealer (at Shahdol M.P.) of Starline Hyundai Satna. The vehicle was delivered on 19-03-11. I had paid Rs 10000 as booking amt and my financer the SBI Shahdol paid Rs 560500 to Satrline Hundai thus aggregating to Rs. 570500. The sub dealer had offered me the car at Rs 540000 and Insurance amt. Rs 15575 (they have been provided me the Insurance Policy of the same amt.) and a discount of Rs 4000. In this way the sub dealer should refund me an amt of Rs 18925. The sub dealer offered me to get the vehicle registered at RTO with refunded amt and difference amt paid by me. Now I am waiting for the refund since two months. My vehicle’s temporary registration has also been expired and RTO office has to levy a late fee of almost Rs 5000. Though the sub dealer has assured me to bear the late fee in registration but observing previous record I am not sure of the same. Please arrange to get refunded my exess paid amt at the earliest.                               STARLINE HYUNDAI SATNA — PATHETIC SERVICE & DELAYS

                              I have purchased car "VERNA VTVT petrol" from Hyundai Starline Automobile Satna, M.P. on 18-jun-2009. But I have not received my sale letter since then. I am only having an invoice for the car.Apart from this the following i have following complaints

                              1.The antenna on the car was damaged
                              2.The floor mats were absent
                              3.No temporary registration at the time of delivery
                              4.Nearly empty petrol tank at the time of delivery.
                              5.Pathetic service

                              I am not getting response from Starline automobile. Please do needful in solving the case

                                I Joginder Kumar, owned a Santro car with registration number HR 26 AY 9607. My Car got some problem on 27th April in evening. Even after repeatedly calling on Hyundai helpline, I didn't receive any help. Somehow I toe my car to my home and next day I call to Malwa Hyundai to take the car to workshop but they didn't respond. After waiting for 3 days I drop my car in Malwa Hyundai Kundli, Sonepat, Haryana. After reaching there they say that its engine got seized and warranty got lapsed because you have installed CNG kit and your last service was after 12000 Kms.
                                First of all I installed CNG kit of the same make (TOMOSTO) as Malwa Hyundai recommends, but from outside. But it is approved in my registration certificate as well as in insurance policy. How can Hyundai deny this now? And if we talk about the service period, Hyundai recommends 10000 Kms for service but let me know if I crossed 10000 Kms limit by just 2000 Kms, will the engine get seize?
                                After all of this I said to them to please repair it as soon as possible, but they are not responding, and even misbehave, they say that we don’t have parts if you are in hurry you can take your vehicle to any other place. They always extend the delivery date and give reason that they don’t have part for repairing.
                                I request you to please help me in this matter, pay my warranty and deliver the vehicle as soon as possible

                                  I had verbal conversation with Mr. S.P.Srivastava (General Manager,Workshop SAS Hyundai) [protected], but he failed to resolve the issue and talked very rudely.



                                  I had given I-10 Sportz, Copper Gold, 30 days back with a promise that I will get the delivery within a 20 days with document . but still (10-may-2011) i didnt get my car. sometime he told "we didnt get the approval from insurance company/ sometime we had not recieved spare parts from hyundai company, chennai office"

                                    Regarding to my query i get a call from Samara Hyundai that they have loss the data in there system. if this will happen they will let me know this thing before getting the feedback from me in which they tell me that sales man is on leave and they will send it as soon possible and i give the correct feed back on her/him verbal voice. If this is the customer service provided my Hyundai motors in India i will a foolish person that i buy Hyundai car & will not suggest any of my friend or colleagues to buy a Hyundai car in his life. Samara Hyundai is a worst company that i have brought a car from there.
