I understand I am raising this issue after long time, but I only get to know about this forum.

One of my relative purchased Hyundai i10 in July 2009 by selling their existing Maruti 800. dealer promised exchange bonus of Rs 15000/-.
But since then they have not made any payment, and for first two year they made different excuses that payment got delayed from Hyundai itself.

But now they have clearly said that this case has got rejected from Hyundai itself. How this could be possible?

If they have promised exchange bonus and helped in selling existing car, they should be paying that amount. Or they should give valid reason for not paying it.

Hyundai/i-10 — Replacement of precious engine part (Cylinser block assly.2110002870)

My concern is about Hyundai manufacturing and customer satisfaction system. As you are well aware that in this case you found cylinder block ([protected]) is defective and this need to replace. Again this is not a part which is available in stock neither at your workshop and/or at your Chennai factory. This need to be import from Korea manufacturing unit. As you agree upon this is not the case which is observing frequently and may be a unique case.

Also I understand, if this part is coming from Korea and it would be replaced here, my concern is that I am not satisfied with such arrangement of local assemble of engine part. As this is new car and I will loose trust on my car's future behavior.

Please help me to get complete replacement of new car on top priority. If this need to be escalate at international level, that will be great help.

This reflects that there is no quality control system for such precious part of engine and as per me this can not be settled by free of cost replacement of defective part.

Again I'm car less for these days and wasting my time to get things corrected. Who will pay for my these days troubles ? ? ?

Am I made any wrong decision to buy Hyundai car ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Hyundai/i-10 — Exchange Bonus

Dear Sir,

Pls note that Ihave purchased a new i-10 car fro STARLINE - SATNA(M.P.) at dtd 07.07.2009.At the time of purchasing there was a scheme of EXCHANGE-BONUS given by Hyundai, that is if you have sold your old car to any body and submit the old RC & new RC to the dealer than Hyundai will pay Rs 10000/- of EXCHANGE bonus after verifying the document.
After 2 - 3 months when I asked to the dealer about my claim he said he sent all the papers to HQ of Hyundai, after a long effort and e-mailing my all papers to Hyundai HQ, I came to know that at dealer end there is a system known as GDMS system which is working within Hyundai dealers and HQ, not entered my details at the time of
purchasing.

Now Hyundai HQ is not taking responsibility to resolve the problem they said this is the mistake at the dealer end.

After discussion with dealer they accepted their mistake but not resolving the issue by giving the amount.

Pls.suggest how I proceed.

    Hi,

    I am Anuj, I bought the Hyundai Car i10 in Dec-2008 and after few months of buying my car had started creating problems like back gear was not working prperly, there was a noise in engine for which 2-3 times a part- adjuster has been changed by Hyundai Meerut, silencer was also creating the noise which was changed, but problem was not solved. So I showed the problem to Capital Hyundai Noida from where I bought the car and they told me that it requires engine work, I was shocked that only after 110000 kms my car needs engine. They have done engine and took 15-20 days and the told me that there was mud in the engine. They couldn't answere how mud has come in engine. After engine repairing my car has started problem in 2nd gear(poor pickup) and average is very poor. I told Capital Hyundai about this and they said it will be fixed automaticall once you runs few Kms but it didn't. Then i showed this problem to Das Hyundai and they said it needs clutch work and they did clutch repairing about 6-8 months back but after 10-15 days it was still creating problem. I took my car for service in Dec-2011 showed the problem and they said that Clutch wire needs to be replaced. They replcaed the clutch wire and charged me 600Rs for general checkup. But 2-3 days back silencer has started creating problem and i showed this to das Hyndai meerut but they told me that this needs to be replaced(3rd silencer in 3 yrs-20000kms). I also told them that 2nd gear is still not working and they told me that it requires clutch work.

    I asked Das Hyundai why these problems are coming again and again. They are saying that petrol quality is not good and you are not driving properly. I have tried to discuss the problem with both Capital Hyundai and Das Hyundai but they are not taking this seriously and giving the permanent solution and charging me each time.

    I am feeling like cheated, they have given me the defetced peice.

      I had purchased a hyundai santro GL plus from kollam popular,3 main features that is present in GL plus were put it in a GL model and gave it to me.I found the fabricated items and complain them.they had taken away my vehicle from my house for the fitment of power window that is actually inbuilt item but not present at the time of delivery.unfortunately vehicle met an accident from their side and the vehicle is in a total loss condition.but they are not willing to give me a new car .

        dear sir,
        I have purchased a car insurance policy from himgiri Hyundai wazirpur industrial area new Delhi -110052 3 months back they sent me the papers after 1 month which are wrong papers now i am daily from last 2 month calling them please send me me my correct policy papers but i didn't get any reply i called them more then 100 times ,every times they tell sir we are sending today -tomorrow but time is going on and on
        first i had a words with a girl name RAKHI then she forward me to a boy name RAJEEV then he forward me their insurance head name KIRAN but result are same delay and delay .......................
        Himgiri spreading the bad name for Hyundai and Himgiri also please take a action on urgent basis otherwise i will go in consumer court i am fad up now

          Hai.i am Prashant I have booked a Hyundai verna 1.6 crdi sx in Starline Hyundai and given the down payment of Rs.20000.I have booked my verna for RS.9,56,130 and the rate hiked by 7,000 and in all m.p the price of verna is 9,63000.and after 3 months of booking the dealer of star automobiles is telling that the price is 9,90000 but the price is 9,63000.they have cheated me,Now i am cancelling My booking.So sad for me.           I have been using my Hyundai car for over 10 years now. SANTRO DL 8C F0317
          I took my car to a nearby Hyundai dealer BLISS CAR CARE hyundai.[protected]@yahoo.com phone no[protected] Situated on Sohna road Gurgaon 122 018 yesterday
          They said they have to replace a pulley and bearings; agreed to change the parts; i am asked to pay about Rs. 9000
          today morning on 24th July i went to pay the amount and take the car; i am told the pulley was replaced but not the bearings; they have put the old bearings and wanted me to pay Rs. 9000
          i refused to pay since they are supposed to replace everything and since noise is still coming i came back and reported to Hyundai customer care ( [protected] tel no.)
          i am shocked to learn that no such

          authorised service centre exists
          they have not given permission to the above dealer to start Hundai centre
          the dealer is using HYUNDAI emblem, sign boards, name plates, printed job cards and every emblem of Hyundai prominently displayed all over the place
          i saw some 20 cars being serviced by him

          Will you kindly arrest this kind of cheating happening right under the nose of HYUNDAI; the company cannot simply allow such nonsense happening and say that they are unconcerned about what is happening illegally

            i bought hyundai, i10 from above dealerby making full payment on 9th feb2011 my customer id is c[protected], i gave my old car maruti zen under exchange offer for which i was entitle rs10000 only which i have nor recd despite making several calls to mr.vaibhav mob no.[protected] and emails [protected]@hmil.net regularly i can forward all those emails 2 u if so desired by u,on 14 th jan 2012 i gave call 2 above dealer which was attended by miss sangita and she told me that they have not recd any email from last 12 months and she inform me that email sent by me as mention in invoice is wrong so i forwarded all earlier email now at [protected]@hmil.net
            i request perhedar to get me rs 10000 which is pending from one year and now they several excuses for that

              I am going through a real mess right now due to one of hyndai dealer at howrah.I have paid the whole amount before 31st of december,2011 to get a new i20 magna petrol.But last thursday when I went to get the delivery of my car I found out that the car was tampered just above the right door panel.I immediately stated the problem to the sales person but they have tried very hard convincing me why I should take the damaged car.You will be really amazed when you know the reason why they were forcing me.Just because they have done the temporary registration of the car.Sounds funny.Isnt it.Just think once,,,,I have paid 5,31,000 bucks to buy a damaged car.In the mean time they were contineously coming up with some other reason and telling me that I have to take that car only and I dont have any other option.I should take the car like that and they will repair it next day.....At the end of the conversation I clearly told them that either they have to provide me with a brand factory car or else return the money.I have lodged a complaint against them at hyundai.I have the photos of the damaged car also along with me as evidence.
              Can you please help me out what step I can take against them and what Hyundai will do to solve this problem?

                While driving we have noticed a typical unusual sound coming while driving the Vehicle. After noticing this I immediately brought to the notice of showroom.showroom workshop staff did attend to forefeit the noise yet to my entire disappointment. Their technical Approach to resolve the issue was indeed very poor and unprofessional. They have removed the whole dashboard system and also developed many scratches on the same. Now the vehicle is kept in the Mathura road work shop for the repair.

                I am grossly disappointed with the overall show by your technical& sales expertise. It entails lot to buy a new car in India and I feel totally cheated as you have given me a defective vehicle. This has raise a seriouslyconcern over the credibility of your company.

                my sentiments are badly heart and I feel totally unsafe with the same vehicle therefore I strongly request you to replace the vehicle with the same model without further complicating the matter and I shall avoid going to the consumer court.

                  Hi All,

                  I have purchase Hyundai i10 magna 1.1 in 12 Jan 2011. But after 1day purchasing of car it's was giving some noise so I inform to sales man Mr. Gaurav Khanna. He asked me to return back this car for checking the issue. Mr. khanna told me that it's some part is faulty so you have to leave this car for 3-4 days nad after one week problem has been resolved. Then after 4 months it's having another issue it's automatically stop when i do anything as like i change Gear or press break. it's RPM showing 0. almost 5 months I am suffering this issue and not bale to drive in traffic. Hyundai Motor Plaza where I purchased this car struggling to resolved this issue but they are not able to resolved it. Please do the needful this is a faulty car which Hyundai handed over to me i need resolution of this problem or replacement of this car.

                    Last Month Sales Persons From Hyundai [ARAS] Came And Asked Me To Take I10 Lpg Car And They Ask Me To Come to their showroom, they showed magna car and i asked whether my vehicle wil have power window and how many models available in I 10 Lpg He told this is only one car which is available in I10 Lpg The colour only will differ from this and the features will be same and i paid the advance rs 1,30,000 /- and he told the car has come and u can see nu.. i went to see the car but he passed the days by saying reasons and on the delivery date only i viewed the car, the car is not as the same which i saw, the car is basic model and it doesnt have any features as the shown car, at the delivery time i told i wont take car , at that time they told we will install all the accessories which is available in the magana , i told k wait dont register my car till i confirm u, but they took car next day itself and registered without informing me and they didnt also informed that my car was registered.they thought i will change the car so they registered the car and i called him that evening to tell that i dont want that car but they cheated and registerd and at that time he told we have 15 cars already for service and i have to get approval from the manager for installing the accessories for u and if we install aslo it will not be covered under warranty , and i[censored] pay means i will install the accessories and next day i went to showroom at that time he told sorry sir i cant put you the accessories but he promised he will put accessories before two days .. they cheated me completely .. i complained to the hyundai customer care chennai but they supporting the dealer they are not even hearing our words.. and hyundai is not helping or responsing .. they are cheating and selling the car...but till now they didnt give my car..i paid the money on 6 th jan itself

                      i have bought a car i20 (HP 56-4182)on 27 Nov 2011 from Punj hyundai hamirpur h.p..From the second day the car hand break indication & roof light not working.after one month,my car battery got discharged,and i have to missed out tthe office for two days.i have given it to maint,nd checking to Sant hyundai Haridwar,after 4 days they have returned the car,now my indication of AC,nd music player not working after i got the car from service.
                      i am totally frustrated from hyundai service,in my new car lot of problems are coming

                          Hello sir,

                          I, Jagdish Kumar Sharma, bought a i10 car six months back from DPG hyundai, patiala with commitment of 2+2 warranty & services from them, I'd like to bring it your kind notice that since we bought it from them, we'r not getting proper services & responses from that dealer & the company. Along with this as expected (or explained to us) the car Average has drop down from expected one (20 kmpl) to 07-10 kmpl & also its clutch & pick up is not as good as was explained. I discuss the same with dealer many times while going for services & asked for its solution, but didn't get the proper response from them at any time. Their services are not up to the level that is supposed to be deliver by them. Their behaviour is also very rude with us. which is really giving me the feeling that i made wrong purchase. I'm seeking for your help in this regard. I'd very grateful to you for this

                            I have purchased New Hyundai I10 1.2 Sportz in Bangalore-Trident Hyundai, Marathhalli last year around for Dussehra (9-Oct), however that has not left me with any enriching experience

                            The inbuilt music system provided in the car doesnt work , cd drive is completely not working, raised this with the Kalyan nagar service centre in bangalore and they have took the request on 17Nov and sent through the details to dealer ( supposively saying to me as chennai based), got a ring back from them around 22 Dec to get it replaced

                            However this time they found that the delivery or replacement part doesnt match to the color of what was requested and i have been asked to leave and will give me a call back again when they get the actual one from dealer

                            two weeks passed by now and no information on this, nor a response of when am i going to get this up and running

                            I hope will not recommend hyundai any more and i believe to having to make a mistake in purchasing this when i had better options than this in the market

                            Would like to file a complaint against this with consumer court as this is more than two months now which am sufferring after having purchased a new car with built in music system and with reputed service like HYUNDAI

                              Dear sir,
                              I have booked Hyundai i20 car on 25th December at Advaith Motors Pvt. Ltd. (Next to SPAR Hyper Market), Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore-29 by paying Rs. 2,57,686. As per offer, we were informed that we will get a discount of approx Rs 31,000 if we purchase before 31st December, 2011. We took a loan of approx Rs. 2.6 lakhs from Axis Bank (arranged by show room finance people) to make up the rest of the amount.

                              As a central govt employee, we must get exemption for life-time road tax. Accordingly, employment certificate was submitted to the show room people for getting the benefit of exemption for life time road tax. We booked the car after getting the assurance of this from the show-room people. Most of the formalities including the sanction of loan is already over. Now, today on 30th December 2011, show-room people suddenly informed me that I have to pay life-time road tax. It is very pathetic to inform you that all central govt employees are getting the benefit of life-time road tax except me.

                              I am very much shocked and helpless at this moment. Since, the total car-price is heavily exceeding my estimated budget, if I cancel the order then also, I am going to loose huge amount.

                              Kindly help me in this regard as soon as possible since only one day is left for availing the offer.

                                I purchased a Hyundai-i20 vehicle from Popular Hyundai,Kazakkuttom,Trivandrum on August-2011. Unfortunately, the
                                vehicle has not been satisfactory because Its battery is completly discharged with in 3 days. i didnt fit any accessory other than a cental lock fitted by ur dealer Popular Hyundai. I reported this problem to Popular Hyundai, Kazakkuttom on[protected]. They inspected my vehicle fixed the problem , however, when I collected the vehicle and started using it again, the problem was still there. I report this to ur customer care on[protected]. Then HILTON HYNDAI, Kollam, picked up my vehicle and inspected. But They charged 552 rupees pick up charge and 500 rupees petrol charge (My car is only 4 months old and done only 2600 kilometers). When I collected the vehicle , its rear bumper is scratched by their technician. When I reported this issue to Hilton Hyundai, Kollam, manager Mr Benchamin, he harassed me and my wife.

                                I would appreciate it if you could organise to have the problem fixed by this week.
                                As I am sure you can appreciate, I rely on my car for transport and apart from the
                                inconvenience, this problem has also caused me to incur additional cost .

                                  I m a purchaser of hyundai getz from korba. i purchased my vehicle from korba Krishna hyundai showroom (owner: Mr. Ashok modi) on 16/06/2008. the car is of very poor quality.
                                  my complaints are.
                                  1. All the doors of my car got rust badly creating a big hole.
                                  2. pick up car is also very poor

                                  i informed the showroom authority and they reverted that company cannot do anything in this regard even of the fact that it is a manufacturing defect.

                                  so, i request u to kindly see this matter on urgent basis and provide us with best of relief. we are hope to see forward for a positive reply in this regard from you.

                                    Sir,
                                    I selected Hyundai I10 Magna 1.2 to purchase so I requested M/s Speed wheel Cars & Finance representative Mr Santosh ( M[protected] for quotation. On my request M/s Speed wheel Cars & Finance submitted quotation as mentioned below:

                                    1. Ex Showroom cost : 4,23,222/-
                                    2. Insurance premium : 12,541/-
                                    3. Registration charges
                                    (Including Road Tax) : 35,526/-
                                    4. Depo / Logistic charges : 3,997/-
                                    5. Total : 4,75,286/-
                                    6. Discount : 45,000/-
                                    7. Final Down payment : 4,30,286/-

                                    With Free accessories – Mud slab, Anti rust coating, Footstep etc

                                    After receiving quotation I applied for Loan in bank & received DD of Rs 4,30,286/- in favor of M/s M/s Speed wheel Cars & Finance. I handed over DD to M/s M/s Speed wheel Cars & Finance representative Mr Deepak on 17th November,2011 with Form 20, Bank passbook copy, Adhar Card, Bank ID card, Lease agreement with police verification & LIC payment receipt (Photocopy).

                                    There after M/s M/s Speed wheel Cars & Finance further demanded for original LIC policy then I also submitted original LIC policy to M/s M/s Speed wheel Cars & Finance.

                                    Then M/s M/s Speed wheel Cars & Finance representative Ms Tanuja requested for my presence at Panvel RTO for which I was ready as I am residing nearby location Kharghar.

                                    Now she again informed me for my presence at Andheri RTO then Panvel RTO for which I refused as I have also submitted all documents to M/s M/s Speed wheel Cars & Finance.

                                    After argument with Mr Santosh representative of M/s M/s Speed wheel Cars & Finance I requested for cancellation of booking & refund my DD to me. Then Mr Santosh aggressively threatens me & refuses to refund my DD which is the harassment.
                                    I also told him that I will go in police station but his answer was same.

                                    So, I request your intervention for delivery of my car with registration without delay as my loan installment already started .

                                    With reference to the long trailing emails and other documentary evidences it show that M/S Speed Wheel cars & Finance are not behaving professionally. It was committed again and again the refund against my booking cancellation of Honda city car will be refunded to me with in 10 working days as INR 30, 000/- and it has passed for than 3 months still the commitment is not full filled.

                                    Earlier it was committed that the amount INR 30, 000/- will be transferred through NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer) mode to my bank account but did not happen.

                                    With reference to our this week several telephonic conversation (with recording evidence can be shared if you wish to remind), you was committed the your person will come to deliver the check for my refund amounting of INR 30, 000/-.

                                    But it didn't happen. Kindly confirm the status.

                                      This mail is complaint against MGF service station Rama road , on Wednesday 7 DEC , i serviced my Hyundai santro DL2CAM 5142 , it was the wrost experience in my life , i was take half day from my compney for service my car i reached at 10:00 clock at MGF ramaroad new delhi , then i open job card at 10:19 am , Mr ravinder Service adviser attends me i asked about approx service time he tell me approx 3 hrs , so i wait there after 3 hrs i asked for my car there is no response from there side , after that so many follow up there is no responce from their side , then i decide to complaint at customer care , i called at customer care and give brief decription regarding the service customer care executive talk with reception lady he says sir service adviser in not in service station ,when he come back i give the status of car . after fighting with so many problem i got my car at 4:20 pm , car is in very dirty condition not properly clean & one scratch at back side bumper, i gone to washing area and asked to car washing man why my car is not properly clean , he said sir shampoo is not in stock and those shampoo we are using is local compney for this problem we already complaint to Gernal manager sir.

                                      I am using first time Hyundai car , before that i am using Maruti product (Wagon- R & swift dezire ) there service is very good , he understand what is customer,maruti car service time with in 3 hrs , its my very big mistake i buy the Hyundai car those not knows value of customer satisfaction , value of customer time , value of customer.

                                      Due to the above problem i was take full day leave instead of half day, and i fill service feedback form on the basic of my service , then customer advisor says " jo kerna hai karo hume koi farak nahi pedta"

                                      so please tell me " agar aapko koi farak nahi pedta to " reply me i will never buy any HYUNDAI product and never suggest to any one to buy the HYUNDAI product , Product is good but service is very bad...

                                      this is wrost experience in my life.........

                                      hyundai aftersale services are so pathetic.
                                      ohh,i wish i would have gone for maruti once again!
                                      since 15 days my car is in ur service centre and in all possibilities(with the pace of work going on)will remain there for 15 more days.everyday ur people hav new excuses.spares not available,transport problem,no worker at service station etc. i am so frustrated. plz.help me.

                                      instead of bannering the whole city with new thinking , new possibilities or watever plz look into existing system and try to make it atleast little helpful for ur customers.

                                        We had purchased a fluidic verna 1.6crdi on 10.10.2011
                                        within 3 days of delivery , the fog lamp of our car was seen not fixed properly. The fibre connecting the lamp with bumber was found defective ( this was not due to any external accidents ).
                                        The dealer from whom we purchased the car is st antony's ,kallumthazham , kollam.
                                        So naturally we took the car to the dealer and they promised to ment it because it was a common complaint for fluidic vena (there were similar problems registered by other customers too)
                                        and after a month, on[protected] they gave the date for clearing the defect. But I was really amazed to see that they charged a bill of Rs 5200 for menting the manufacturing defect.they did not give any prior information about this.On 21.11.2011 , i went their 3 times for getting the repaired car.but they were ignorant and made me wait the whole day.
                                        When we were not willing to pay the bill, they removed the fitted lamp and gave the car back as it was earlier. So taking into account the physical and mental strain due to the ignorance and ill mannerism of the dealers. please take necessary action

                                        25 June 2012 - I totally agree with the comments on the above complaint as St Antony's Hyndai, Kollam is cheating the customer by doing these kind of services. They dont inform us on any thing during service and also call us again after service and saying "we have something else to do service on the car" and charge it again... The most important thing is that they never clean or wash the car properly during service...
