Dear Sir,

I am here to lodge a complaint against ICICI credit card. Below is the mail I received from ICICI credit cards department for a transaction on my card.

I had immediately contacted the customer care regarding this on 27th Dec 2011 around 3:00 AM IST and informed them that this transaction was not done by me. The customer care person assured me that the card has already been blocked by them as they had suspected this as malicious transaction and I have nothing to worry and asked me to call the next day morning normal hours to report the dispute team and do the needful. At that time he did not notify me that there has been any further transactions beyond the below mentioned amount.
When I called the next day morning, I was informed there has been a total transaction of 8812.37x4 = 35249.48 INR on my card on the same site, which was shocking as I was not told of this the last night by the CC person and neither there was any mail on this. However the person assured me not to worry as the card has already been blocked and the request has been forwarded to the dispute team. They said I will be notified about the investigation via a SMS and email within 7 days. I confirmed with him my contact details and mail id.
After 4 days I called again to check if there was any progress and about the notification. Again I was told not to worry and I will be receiving intimation on this shortly.
After another 4 days I called again (as it has crossed the said 7days time) and was said the same thing. When asked about the amount, it was said by the CC person that it will be reverted back and I will be notified via email and sms.
Then on 15th Jan I received the statement to pay the amount of 35086.57....INR The statement did not contain the below transaction details for which I had received the below mail. When I called the customer care again, this time I was told very harshly that this is a routine process and bank cannot do anything. I have to wait till I get to hear anything form them.
Later they came back on 15 March 2012 saying that the disputed transactions as per their records, Card Verification Value (CVV) and Expiry date on your Credit Card, your personal 6 digit 3D Secure PIN was used for effecting the said transactions.
But the question still remains unanswered, as something that they inform us above is very evident of being used while facilitating online transaction .All information can be fraudulently hacked.
So it would be inappropriate to say that compromising of that information by the owner of the card has led to the transaction. This is an online fraud and personal information stolen online and misused without the owner’s knowledge while they fail to clear other shocking thing which has happened ( please refer the attached e-mail notification from ICICI and the statement ) the email notification sent from ICICI bank for a transaction of "RUS 44.95 at DENGI.MAIL.RU(December 26, 2011; 15:21:07 hrs.). On seeing this , I had immediately called the customer care, and they said they have already blocked my card suspecting this as a fraudulent transaction, and at that moment the customer care person said there is no further transaction beyond this transaction.
Question 1) if my card was blocked after the first transaction for which the email notification was sent (see attached), then how the following 4 transactions could take place?
2) Why does the transaction of RUS 44.95 at DENGI..MAIL.RU (December 26, 2011; 15:21:07 hrs.) not show up in the monthly statement (see attached) for which email notification was sent?
3) What has the bank done to update their arsenal to combat the forgers who carry out such fraudulent online transactions?
After several calls and follow ups to the customer care on this issue explaining the whole thing every time from beginning, every time I called as there would be a new person taking up the call and every time they said we will get back to you in 4-5 days, or 7-8 days, which they never did and finally I forwarded this to Head Credit cards‎ [[protected]@ICICIBANK.COM]‎ . Now after enormous email exchanges and all the information provided at every step whatever has been asked for, he is putting it back on me holding me responsible saying Card Verification Value (CVV) and Expiry date on your Credit Card, your personal 6 digit 3D Secure PIN was made available. This is really very shocking and painful.
This kind of action is not at all a customer friendly signs shown by the bank and raises a question on the intention of the bank in resolving the matter. First of all there was severe delay and non-action shown by the customer care department on such a serious issue of online fraud in spite of immediate complains and repeated follow-ups.
Then again there was a huge delay caused by the Head Credit cards( point of escalation) after several email exchanges to raise the dispute Service Reference Number SR[protected], which almost took a month.
Thirdly when the matter is still being investigated, I was asked to pay the complete outstanding of the disputed transaction amount. And now after another scores of painful email exchanges and lengthy telephonic conversations, when it was decided to wait till the final investigations are complete, there are recovery agents being sent at my address.
This sequence of events now raises serious doubts whether the bank is really doing any investigation or at all interested in resolving the issue or has just sold it off to a recovery agent and playing a delaying tactics with me that we are looking in to it. These also concern me on the banking ethics and policies followed by the bank in dealing with disputed transactions.
Hoping to have a resolution on this issue soon.

    I along with my wife Mrs Daizy Rani Gupta having an RD account No[protected] with ICICI Bank, Ambala Cantt (opened Formerly with Bank Of Rajasthan on 17/04/2010). We were in urgent need of money and applied for loan @ 90% on this account but our request has been turned down and the account has been prematurely closed on 28/06/12. As against the outstanding amount of approx Rs 17,40,00/- which was available on 28/06/2011, I have been paid only 16,24,764/-. An amount of approximately 1,15,000/- has been deducted without any elaboration and we have only been told that this is penalty because of premature closure of the account. What is interesting the statement of this RD account (no[protected] shows a closure precedes credit to our saving bank account (no[protected] as Rs 16,93,764/- whereas the actual credit in our saving bank account (no[protected] is only Rs 16,24,764/- i.e. less by Rs 69000/-.
    M/S ICICI bank turned total irresponsible in my matter and I have neither been given any reason for this, nor being provided the relevant records to contend my case. Even a complaint no has not been provided to me which clearly shows unlawful intentions on the part of M/S ICICI bank .

    I most humbly request your honour to kindly look into the matter and get our hard earned money refunded at the earliest please.

        I'm a privileged customer of ICICI bank. Pls see below what privileges I get:-
        1. They cheat me and charge extra money on all my credit cards for more than one year.
        2. When I catch the error and ask them to give a reversal, they sent the dues to the collection agency.
        3. Collection agency harasses me and they keep in charging me extra.
        4. I call up the customer care and since im a privileged customer, each executive rotates me to different departments and at the end the line gets disconnected.
        5. They are a negative impact on my credit score.

        I would request anyone who can help me out to get this matter sorted out and would also suggest everyone to be wary of this fraud BANK called ICICI.
        From top to bottom, ranging from the chairman to the peon are cheats. They are actually running a cheat fund with the mask of a registered bank.

          As I approached the bank credit card recovery dell to know the amont to settle my credit card balance. They gave

          some waivery for my repayment. I asked the calculations of waiving as per rbi guideline. But they refused as well as

          abused in return. here is my request where can I get guidelines of waiving the balance amount settlement to private

            But unfortinately I need neccesary CHEQUE BOOK then i go to bank (TODAY, 26.07.2012) and demand by to CHEQUE BOOK ankita she replayad to me very badly speak.
            She told me my CHEQUE BOOK Reqwest not in my MIND. And asked me never about it becouse it is not my responsebility you mey go now.
            I Lost my Image and damage my bussines relationship. During those days (about 1 Months) i lost ecconomical large scale money (digit 6)

              I have been offered with ICICI HPCL credit card saying that it has Buy 1 get 1 free movie tickets. I checked the website it showed no signs of it.. I called the executive back and he again confirmed that it has the above mentioned features. Now that i tried to book the ticket its saying the my card is not eligible for that offer.

              I am extremely disappointed. Its not the problem with the bank. Its the problem with the executives who misguide the customers.
              By the way the executive name is Sharath. His number is [protected].

              He also told me that he will get back to me with the details of the card showing the above mentioned features. Now I am trying to call this guy and he is avoiding my calls.

                NEVER EVER GET IN THIS FAKE ICICI PO RECRUITMENT.BECAUSE IT IS A FAKE POST.THEY DONT LIKE THEIR EMPLOYEE,THEY WILL
                FORCE TO 3.5 LAKH TRAINING PROGRAM AND U HAVE TO PAY.

                VERY MUCH LESS GROWTH AND NO JOB SECURITY AND SURITY.THEY DONT THINK ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEE.THEY WILL KICK U OUT WHENEVER THEY WANT AND U HAVE TO PAY THEIR WHOLE TRAINING FEES WITH 24% INTEREST RATE.

                ICICI IS NOT A GOOD.THEY HAVE THEIR OWN VIEW AND JOB LINE.U WILL ASK TO DO SALES JOB AND FORCE TO BRING INCOME AND IF NOT THEY WILL KICK U OUT...................

                  [protected] this is my credit card number of icici bank your recovery department is harassing me using bad word, calling my company i am going for police complain.i told them that i will pay 15000 outstanding they are not ready to listen because they must be having some commision in that, they are telling me to pay 15000 in bank keep that receipt don't mention your ph number. we will show your are not in contact what is the use of paying 15000 same problem i will get in future. i am not going to pay without NOC Letter if any body from icici bank is ready to sort this problem please contact me on [protected]@rediffmail.com. for final settlement from direct ICICI Bank not from recovery department.

                    I have had a ICICI credit card. 1 months back I had to stop payment due to some financial crisis. But post that I made a few payments and requested them to settle the card. However no mutual agreement was reached thus far. Now for the past one week ICICI representative are calling me and my colleagues. They are claiming that they are calling from Delhi Police and have a criminal record of me. I stated once again that please quote me an amount that I will be able to pay and will be more than happy to oblige. They still continue to give threatening calls in the name of Delhi Police. This is outright defamation and I would request your assistance in this case. My details below -

                      ICICI Bank — UNAUTHORISED MONEY WITHDRAWLS FROM MY SAVING ACCOUNT

                      Respected Sir,
                      I am a account holder & credit card holder in ICICI Bank. My a/c no is[protected] & credit card no is[protected]. On account of credit card ICICI Lombard issued me family insurance but when policy came it was individual. When I spoke to the customer care in Lombard they said but so ever verification has come we have issued policy on that behalf. when I refused to accept the same i was told to deposit the paper so that they can canceled the policy. I returned paper to their Hyderabad office, Same time I informed credit card & Lombard customer care, But when I received statement money was deducted from my account so I spoke to Lombard as per them they canceled just one instead of two. I informed the matter to credit card division. They said you pay this time we will rectify the next invoice. But same thing happened next time & i was told to pay the invoice as it can not be rectified. but when third invoice came same way I refused to pay & told them to chang the invoice & take the payments. no body changed that invoice now they start taking money from my saving account without my permission.
                      With this request i request you to get my account setteled, Take your money & give me my money back.

                          My name is Madhusmita Mallik , I got a message on 30th may 2012 from TD-ICICIB as "Dear customer ,Use your ICICI Bank Debit Card to book flight tickets at Ezeegi1.com and get 30% cash back till 30-jun-12.Use Prome code- ICICGBDFLT and i made the transaction for booking the flight tickets from Delhi to Bangalore as round trip on 21st june 2012 using the given promocode. And after that i talked to ICICI Bank customer care and they told yes you will get back the cash till 30th june 2012 But unfortunately still i have not got any cash back return then i talked to customer care again and now they are saying it was for i mobile something .But the thing is like there in message they have not mention anything about i mobile .

                          I request you to please take this in light and get my money return and consider my query properly.

                            POSDEC CHG DEBITED TWICE ON 20th JULY 2012 WITHOUT THE CARD BEING USED

                            My name is Sayak and I'm holding a salary in ICICI bank for the past 8 years. I just saw today when I checked my account online, that twice I have been charged POSDEC CHG of Rs. 28.09 each on July 20th 2012 and the description says:
                            POSDEC CHG/04-06-12/3345/25ST3

                            I need an explanation as to what this charge means and why (if at all is valid) charged after 1 and half months.

                              My Name is Ravi Agrawal. I made transaction for MakeMyTrip of 27000 for intercity car booking.

                              I made transaction online via ICICI bank net Banking. My first transaction got failed on 11th ?July 2012, but my money got deducted. I contacted Makemytrip they said they haven't received first transaction money and hence I made payment again on 12th July 2012.

                              Failed transaction : on 11/07/2012 BIL/[protected]/MAKEMYTRIP INDIA PVT/IN

                              Successful: on 12/07/2012 BIL/[protected]/MAKEMYTRIP INDIA PVT/IN

                              Its 21st July 2012. I haven't received my money yet. I contacted ICICI bank they said money has been transferred to Make my trip on 12th July 2012 itslef while Makymytrip is not responding on mails and on calling denying for this.

                              ICICI team has given reference number : in1207b05810p01

                              I request you to please take this in light and get my money return.

                                  Hello Sir/Madam,

                                  Lat year after Aug 2010 a person called Nirmal John asked me to pay the settlement
                                  of 8000/ after verifying the issues with the previous account and other issues.

                                  I paid and he said he will process the settlement letter in the morning and bring it home the next day.
                                  But it wasn't paid and you can see after two years of argument and fight I paid 8000 settlement and it was jusdged by Lok Adalat.

                                  I contacted him 41 times and emailed 18 times to ICICI to top heads also, noting but automated emails and recently a person called bharath spoke when i called that number he says he has taken care but I don't think it was taken care and CIBIL is fixed.

                                  will you please stop sending me this.
                                  I suppose to receive a letter of confirmation but did not receive any!!
                                  What's going on with you people?

                                    I have used the ICICI debit card at HDFC ATM, Madhapur-Hyd today morning and the transaction is not successful, but it shows the amount of 3000/- is being deducted from the account and Immediately it being reflected in my online account as well. i have approached the phone banking service as well in regards to this and they have address that the amount would be refunded in the 24 hrs at it is the privilege account.Can you address me the issue clearly whether the issue is ATM problem or Banking issues or will money be refunded or not ???
