I have been given a Coral Credit card against my loan account. However, the date of birth has been recorded incorrectly. Further, I did not receive my PIN. Now when I call the ICICI customer care, they ask for the DOB, and are not accepting the correct one that I am giving. The chat facility is least helpful.
If providing a credit card, atleast make it a point to deliver PIN, and if not, atleast bank representatives should be helpful in customer generating a PIN. I did not get help even from Bangalore MG road staff, who directed me to ATM but ATM has no facility to generate PIN for a new user.

    This is Bhavna Ishwar Bhambhani.

    This is to inform you Icici people that i have already updated all documents required in your bank which is on linking road Mumbai in January 2016. But still i keep getting messages on my phone saying that account details have not been updated. How many times to you people want to me to update the details before my account will get activated again.

    And you people don't stop troubling me there. U people are just bouncing my cheques every single time and i want to know why?
    Cheque number 545963, 545964 issued in the name of Deewan housing on 12th jan 2016 both cheques of 1, 50, 000 each both got bounced saying signature differs.
    But cheque number 545965 issued in the name of Deewan housing on 12th jan 2016 amount of 2, 00, 000 that cheque never got bounced. How is such a thing possible when i only signed all the 3 cheques at the same time. How can one cheque get cleared and the other 2 get bounced for the signature. I spoke to someone in the bank and they said issue new cheques. I did that.

    I issued new cheques, cheque number 545966 and 545967 for Deewan housing of 1, 50, 000 each on 15/02/2016 and again i got an sms saying cheques have been dishonored again. i don't understand what you people are doing?. You people have dishonored 4 of my cheques, all cheques signed by me only. Is this the kind of service you people give your customers.
    If this is your standard of service then i would like to close my account with your bank.
    Such low standard service. Not happy at all.

      I am trying to prepay this Personal Loan Account Number LPBNG[protected] since 16-Nov 2015. There have been so many email communications in between ICICI Customer Care and me regarding this. But the process has not yet come to a closure.

      As per the ICICI customer care response I have given authorized letter to my friend and he has visited the branch twice.

      We have provided them printed copy of email communication from ICICI Customer care confirming the Prepayment charges is 2.5% of the Principal Outstanding amount.

      But, ICICI Bank is not allowing closing the personal loan and always insisting Prepayment charges is 5% of the Principal Outstanding amount, contrary to the statement provided by your own customer care department: "With reference to your Service Reference Number SR[protected] We inform you that the Prepayment charges are applicable for your Personal loan account. the charges would be 2.5% of the Principal Outstanding amount plus Applicable Service tax."

      New Service Request #SR[protected] has been raised by the bank to retrieve agreement copy.

      It is really frustrating to me as I am stuck for the past 3 months with this process of pre-closure of the Personal Loan, and the bank is causing long delays, thereby causing me to lose my money on interest payments.

      I have signed in the Personal Loan application form which clearly mentions a Prepayment charge is 2.5%.

      More than 5 times I have requested the scanned copy of Personal Loan application form and agreement and bank is not ready share the documents

      Still ICICI Bank Employee is saying prepayment charge is 5% by ignoring my loan agreement and ICICI Bank Customer care emails.

      We have provided them printed copy of email communication from customer care confirming the prepayment charges is 2.5% and loan agreement copy say prepayment charges is 2.5% (Service Reference Number SR[protected] and SR[protected]. But, bank is not allowing to close the loan and always insisting prepayment charges is 5% of the Principal Outstanding amount, contrary to the statement provided by your own customer care department and agreement copy:

      It is really frustrating to me as I am stuck for the past 4 months with this process of pre-closure of the personal loan, and the bank is causing long delays, thereby causing me to lose my money on interest payments of Rs.13057.

        I was wrongly conveyed by the ICICI wealth management team that there is a life team free sapphiro card available under some scheme. I already had a coral card but since it was a life time free card, I applied for the card filling all the forms and giving the necessary documents. After going through all the hassles, I have issued a Rubyx card after 3 weeks. When I took up the matter saying I never applied for a Rubyx card, I was told that I do not qualify for the requirement for Sapphiro and hence Rubyx was issued. These requirements were not conveyed to me earlier by the teams. When I further enquired, I found out that even the Rubyx card issued to me was not a life time free card. I was totally misguided by them at every stage and hence I have ended up with a paid credit card which I did not need in the first place. This process has caused a lot of wastage of time, paper work and wrong hopes were given to me.

                    Sub: - Even duo I approached ICICI Bank people many time for settlement of credit card. ICICI Bank blocked my only active saving account as lien balance. Issued me notice (Regn. No.: KAR/244/2000) and came to my home and made scene.
                    Dear Sir,
                    This is the classical example of how an ICICI Bank person harasses, torture, humiliate and make a scan in front of neighbors. I did not understand why or what is the need of doing all this things or showing me what ICICI Bank can do??? When I am ready for settlement. I am calling ICICI Bank from last 4 month for the same.
                    Sir, it was the month of Oct 2015 when I noticed that my interest part itself is near to 3000 in bill statement. Looking at it I thought if I continue in same way I will near be able to close the credit card bill. I decided to call the call center and ask for help to close the credit card. So I called call center and asked for help to close the credit card. I said as interest part itself is near to 3000 and I can't pay 3000 for interest only so please make a settlement and convert it to EMI of small amount so that I will be able to close the credit card. I said I do not want to use credit card any more so block it permanently. I feared if it is not blocked permanently I will start using it again. I said until it is converted into EMI I will not make any payment farther. I got no response from ICICI Bank in this regard. I did not pay the bill for next month.
                    As I did not made any payment next month I started getting call from ICICI Bank. I got more than 2 to 4 calls every day, it was torturing me. But for every call I putted same request and asked than to convert it into EMI. I spoke to more than 20 people in that calls and I was feeling that I was humiliated indirectly by this people as my request was same for every buddy. I have recorded few of this call. As I got no response from them I call ICICI Bank call center again on 14/12/2016 and again putted the request and request No is SR[protected] I have recorded the whole conversation. Please find the conversation in attachment. Now the interest and penalty itself was coming to around 5000. I got no response from ICICI Bank. On 24/12/2016 I put a complete on http://www.consumercomplaints.in/ and subject was Request to convert outstanding amount to EMI but bank calling torturing, humiliating and coming to my home. I got same response from ICICI Bank after putting complete in http://www.consumercomplaints.in/
                    I the month of Jan 2016 I started gating calls form ICICI Bank for settlement but they did not give me clean settlement option. They gave me 2 options. 1) Pay 10000 to 15000 per month and settle it in next 6 to 10 months and 2) They will convert minimum amount due into EMI for 6 to 10 month and rest I should pay as credit card bill. Both the option was unfair to me. First option of paying 10000 to 15000 per month, I can't save that mach of money for next 6 to 10 month, my income is not so high. In second option minimum amount is 30000. Converting it into 6 month of EMI each EMI will be at lest of 5000 and minimum bill amount for credit card will be around 3000 total it will come around 8000 per month. I cannot save 8000 per month also. In second option credit card will not be blocked permanently also and I fear I will start using credit card again if it is not block permanently.

                    On 3rd of Feb 2016 they blocked my only active saving account as lien account and I was not able to withdraw any amount from ICICI Bank. This is the only active saving account I have with me. Any income I get will go to this account only. As I am not able to withdraw from this account I cannot meet my monthly expanses also like food and other basic need. I had the borrow money from my friend and relative and I have become the center of joker for them. It is most humiliating in life to borrow money for basic need. On 12th Feb 2016 ICICI Bank person came to my house and made a scene and said to pay the full amount or partial amount. How can I pay any amount if I cannot withdraw from bank? How can I pay if they do not give me fear settlement? ICICI Bank sent court notice to me and notice No is KAR/244/2000. I did not understand what ICICI Bank will get by doing this entire thing. Dose ICICI Bank enjoy harasses, torture, humiliate and make a scan in front of neighbors. I have a sample 3 condition. 1) Please remove this lien balance from my saving account, so that I can withdraw amount for my monthly expanses, 2) Convert total outstanding amount into EMI of more than 36 month or around 3000 per month. 3) Block the credit card permanently so that I am not able to use it in future. Below are the details.

                      Hi, My name is M Karthik Reddy & A/c no. is[protected]. I had opened a salary account in your bank 4 yrs ago. Last week i checked my mini statement as i was in a doubt of my balance to be incorrect & got a shock. I was debited Rs.515.25 for SMAB charges. I also filed an online complaint about this. But the reply i got was useless. They told me that my salary A/c was converted into General Saving A/c. But, here i want to make it clear that i was not informed anything about this conversion of my A/c or about any minimum balance that i had to keep in my A/c. I was even not informed anything before or after the deduction of above said heavy SMAB charges. This is really an unprofessional approach by ICICI bank. So i would request you to refund Rs.515 to my A/c. So that i can consider to pursue my relations with ICICI bank

                            Myself is Indra Suman, and I am having saving bank account no.:[protected] with ICICI Bank Bangarpet, kolar, karnataka in semi urban area. My complaint is related to the minimum account balance charges, that bank has debited twice from my account in same month without any communication in this regard. I already well maintain MAB in my account which is Rs. 5000 monthly because my account is in semi urban branch, .
                            I think ICICI Bank is not even following the guidelines mentioned by RBI.
                            Please find the below details for all the transactions made by bank.

                              PL marketing guys giving false promises

                              I have received a call from icici regarding personal loan with interest rate 11.49%. So I have cancelled my PL application(12.75%) at hdfc bank n applied for icici PL on 27th jan. When I make a call to the contact to enquire about loan status, they used to tell that the loan gets disbursed in one day. Now they are telling that the loan got approved for 12.5%. Why icici marketing guys are playing with my needs n my cibil...

                                I sent the folowing mail to ICICI for which i have not received any response till now.

                                Sir,
                                1.I was approached by Ms Atulya Gaur many times over phone and told me that she is my relationship manager with ICICI bank based in Delhi.
                                2. She brought Mr Deenmani Shukla with her on two visits.
                                3. My old SIPs were closed on their advice( Birla Sunlife and ICICI Prodential Value discovery Folio No. 6246039/52) as well as Rs 10 lakh invested in ICICI balanced advantage fund were switched to ICICI value discovery fund).
                                4. I lost all the gains on Balanced advantage fund due to switching over before 18 months which i was concerned about.

                                6. they have probably gained from my switching over and kept me in dark over the losses AND ARE NOT GIVING ANY SERVICE TO ME AFTER THAT.
                                7. is this the way ICICI Prudential/ Direct functions- By making fool of Wealth management customers and giving NO SERVICE after their aim is achieved ??
                                8.I will close all my accounts in ICICI bank and move all portfolios to some other company if my e mail doesn't revoke any response.

                                10. All my family members have accounts and FDs in ICICI Bank which i will shift to some other bank because i find ICICI employees giving poor service and cheating a good customer like me.
                                12. I want some action to be taken against them for cheating me and wasting my time and energy.

                                  Here is my incident with this cheater company. My total bill amount was Rs. 13500, and I paid Rs. 10000 for that thinking to pay remaining afterwards which I forgot. Instead of charging interest on difference amount of Rs. 3500, ICICI Bank charged me interest on Total amount Rs. 13500 along with the purchases made further of about Rs 10000.

                                  This is really very bad that customer has to bear so much losses. If they provide a notification then we can pay remaining amount easily, but these people trap using MITC.

                                    I would like to get some help on one of the worst experiences from any bank I have bought loan from. I requested a Personal Loan of INR 7, 20, 000 from ICICI Bank. There was no foreclosure charges or initial lock-in period that was communicated to me either via email or message or in written. I got the loan disbursed for INR 7, 05, 064 on 7th Dec 2015. The loan amount disbursed had processing charges of around INR 2, 500 which I had agreed to. Until I got the Welcome Letter I wasn't aware of the foreclosure charges or the 6 months lock-in period. I had asked almost all the executives about the same when I spoke to them about the loan during processing but none of them gave out any responses for the same. In an instance or two when I got calls for the verification, I was told that I will get a call from the bank when I asked about the charges. The loan was disbursed without letting me know of charges. When I got the last call for disbursal, I asked them to hold off the disbursal until I was notified about the charges and still they disbursed the loan.
                                    The loan was disbursed with an insurance charge of around INR 13, 500. I am 100% sure that I never signed the insurance application form. How could the bank deduct the insurance charges when I never authorized it? Did some of the bank executives forge my signature on the form? I went to a branch and checked with them for a scanned copy of the insurance that I signed. They do not have that document in the KYC docs.
                                    They had assigned me a relationship manager. I spoke to her after the loan was disbursed and she said she will raise a memo with her business head requesting the waiver of foreclosure charges and lock-in period. But I haven't heard back from her till now about it. When I tried speaking to her about the same, she said there will be a lock-in for 6 months and pre-closure charge of 5% and the waiver can only be given for about 1-2% of pre-closure charges once I pay 12 EMIs. I am really surprised with a complete turnaround in her words. Also, she bluntly asked me to go to a branch and meet the branch manager for further help.

                                    I want to close my loan at the earliest as I am applying for a home loan and this personal loan is reducing my eligibility by a greater extent. Even though all the above mistakes have been committed by the bank, the branch I visited asked to pay a sum of INR 7, 45, 043 for the pre-closure that would include 5% (around INR 37, 000) of foreclosure charges and around INR 8, 000 of service tax. Why should I be liable to pay the same? I never accepted the loan to be disbursed to me in the first place, I never accepted the foreclosure charges, I never asked for insurance.

                                    Any help with getting this fixed will be greatly appreciated.

                                    Today I got another call from ICICI about the issue. The customer service officer Ankit Shah who was supposed to give me a resolution on the same but kept saying the same thing that the bank officials mentioned in the first place when I asked them for the pre-closure of my loan. Also, he tried to impose things on me that I am also equally responsible for knowing the pre-closure charges and also says that they have an agreement that I signed which mentions the pre-closure charges of 5%. I am 100% sure that I never signed that document with the charges already mentioned. The person who collected my document mentioned that the bank will add the pre-closure charges later after discussing with me. But I never got the confirmation from the bank before the loan was disbursed and the welcome letter was sent out me. They must have added the charges themselves and released the funds. I have asked all the representatives who have called me or met me for documents/verification after the first call that I received from ICICI about the loan. All the executives kept telling me was that they were not responsible for the same and I would be getting a call from the bank about the same. I never got any such call from the bank before the loan was disbursed. This clearly specifies that I have done my part of responsibility of trying to know the charges. I can only ask the bank officials about the same and if they do not give out the information, it would not be considered as my fault. Also, they should have taken an email confirmation from me about the loan amount, interest rate, tenure, lock-in period, pre-closure charges etc. and that was not done too.

                                    I also tried to raise the request to the Nodal officer but no response received on the same till now.

                                    Is there anyone out there who could get me a quick resolution on the issue. I do not want to end up paying another EMI for the loan when I am ready to pre-close it.

                                    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

                                      This is ARIEF ADAM SHEIK, holding an ICICI saving b/a :[protected]. My complaint is related to the minimum account balance charges, that bank has debited from my account without even notifying there policy changes, if any. I get quarterly statements but I have never got any information about the policy changes. I think ICICI bank is not even following the guidelines mentioned by RBI.
                                      It is extremely disheartening that Bank is just debiting hefty amount from their customer's hard earned money, without any intimation through phone or statement or any way.

                                      Who has given right to them to debit the amount without any notice or intimation to the customer? How one can be updated with the hidden rules modification.?
