Sir/Madam,
I am Pratyush Vardhan, holding an ICICI b/a :[protected]. My complaint is related to the minimum account balance charges, that bank has debited from my account without even notifying me. While opening the account I was told that there will not be any charges whatsoever if i maintain balance more than 10000. Please clarify and reverse the charges as soon as possible.


The charges over the last 1 year has been exorbitant even though I have maintained balance of more than 10k per month. The bank doesn't even inform me of the charges neither do i receive account statements for the same. I think ICICI bank is not even following the guidelines mentioned by RBI.

    Dear Team,

    I am writing this with lots of disappointment.

    I regret to inform that there was unauthorized transaction was taken place from my A/C by ICICI Bank. This has been already reported to ICICI on 22/01/2016 with SR[protected] as well as SR[protected] with Mr. Ram from Hyderabad. It has already been 2 weeks since it was reported, I haven't received any updates from ICICI. Even I followed up on 31/01 with Imran as well, however I got response from him that your request is still under investigation

    I can't expect from ICICI doing such unethical and unofficial transaction without any consent.

      Hi Team,

      I am writing this with lot of disappointment.

      I regret to inform that my regular payment (ECS) toward TATA capital finance (a/c #[protected] has been returned today ( 06/02/2015) due to insufficent account balance ( #[protected]. However, i have kept enough amount available in my personal savings account balance with ICICI bank to meet my obligation on time.

      This is really a bad time inconvenience since it has a direct impact on cibil scoring system and my repayment history too.

      Please assist to check the actual reason of return & make immediate payment. Also, rectify the dunning history on cibil because i would not want any impact.

      I need a written letter from the bank with justification & rectification action taken.

        Hi, My name is Varun Sharma & A/c no. is[protected]. I had opened a salary account in your bank 2 yrs ago. Last week i checked my mini statement as i was in a doubt of my balance to be incorrect & got a shock. I was debited Rs.515.25 twice for SMAB charges. I also filed an online complaint about this. But the reply i got was useless. They told me that my salary A/c was converted into General Saving A/c. But, here i want to make it clear that i was not informed anything about this conversion of my A/c or about any minimum balance that i had to keep in my A/c. I was even not informed anything before or after the deduction of above said heavy SMAB charges. This is really an unprofessional approach by ICICI bank. So i would request you to refund Rs.1030 to my A/c. So that i can consider to pursue my relations with ICICI bank

          Today i have made a Transfer of an amount rupees 6500 from icici net banking to one of my other HDFC Bank account For monthly Emi...

          and Payment has been transferred by using IMPS transaction..

          but

          The Amount has been Debited from my account & it has not been credited to the

          I Called customer care people on this issue But They Are not saying proper answer and not even raising ticket On this issue...

            I have been charged for POSDEC 7 times in a day. And I haven’t even used my debit card anywhere. Why is it happening. And I can not even reach customer care. This is so unfair and so unethical from a reputable bank. I am going to change my bank the first thing now.
            Worst ever. Never go for Icici bank. They never answers you and have millions of hidden charges.

              This is to inform you that someone has used my credit card fraudulently on[protected] at 06:43 pm & made a payment of rs 4981/- at VODAFONE BILL DESK.
              This is a humble request to cancel the fraud transaction of rs 4981/- & refund the amount ASAP.
              sir, a call received from no.+91 [protected] yesterday at 6.22 pm asking my icici Bank Credit Card details like card no., date of expiry etc stating that he is calling from icici bank credit Card section for exchanging rewards points to be credited to my account and rs.4981/- was debited to my icici bank card no.xxxx xxxx xxxx 8016. Kindly stop the transaction and do not remit the amount to the person.

                  I have Deposited RS 10000/- on 29/01/2016, but immediately my A/C was deducted Rs 6973/- as MAB charges for not maintaining the minimum balance in my account.The fine was levied upon me for more than 12 months in one go.I have complained to the bank online from their website.Only i got response from my level one complain but never got any reply in further complain from ICICI BANK.

                  Bank should inform me about the charges and shown the amount as liabilities in my account.They never informed me either by phone or Email about the fine and suddenly in a day they deducted The above mentioned amount which constitute about 70% of my balance in the account.I have requested them to revert back the amount and also suggested to deduct the charges of one or two months.

                        I am a senior citizen having an account with icici bank for many years.
                        I approached the bank to make an international transaction to my sons university,
                        we agreed on a rate however the transaction was made on a higher rate.
                        since that day it has been 26 days we are requesting for a transaction invoice.
                        every time i go to the bank they give me a vague response and send we away.
                        firstly i have been over charged and then harassed.the last two times they are saying letters and emails have been sent however we have not received any information fro the bank.

                            This is to inform you that i have made the credit card loan payment on last date 15th jan 2016, but payment has not been credited to icici bank and this has been credited on 19th jan 2016. But they have taken interest charges and fine approximately rs. 4000 for the amount 31969. So why i will pay interest charges and whatever fine. I am not going to pay fine and all, as i paid on 15th jan 2016(Last date).

                            I have requested for the reversal the money and got reply that they are refunding ony rs.300 from fine amount rs.4000.

                            I kindly request you to please take necessary action from your end and do the reversal all the fine amount.

                              I didn't received any credit card from ICICI Bank. But for long year they have mentioned me as in the list of non payment person. Last week i applied and got a report from CIBIL. As per the report, the ICICI Bank mentioned a a/c no. [protected] for credit card on my name.
                              But sir, Till now i didn't receive any credit card from any Bank. The icici bank also didnt give any card to me. I thing someone cheating the Bank. I surely say to you that im a prompt person. I took a lot of personal loans and two wheeler loans. But All the loans and Depts are paid by correct date.
                              so the icici report is wrong. please inform this problem to the company, and ask them to rectify this.

                                On 18th Jan 2016 evening at 2 pm one person took my ICICI Debit and Credit Card details and transacted the value of Rs.4900 from both account.
                                For that fraud I already spoke to MPESA regarding the fraudulent transactions took place from my account. Date of Transaction:[protected] Amount INR.: 4900.00.Total amount is Rs 9800. We There has been a transaction made from the Credit card and Debit card. The funds were utilized for the payment towards "Vodafone Bill desk” which is an application used for Vodafone India.
                                hence request you to please contact the merchant too appellate.[protected]@vodafone.com. I request you to cancel the payment to the online transaction company and credit the subject amount to my ICICI bank account No.[protected] from where it has been debited. I contacted ICICI bank customer care. They are NOT cooperating with convincing answers. They have blocked my card from further misuse, But they are saying transaction which has already happened cannot be reverted back. Later I contacted Head Quality services of ICICI bank. They are now saying matter is under investigation . They should own this issue and resolve it within next 2 days. I already register a police complaints against this fraud transaction.
                                I am registering this complaint against ICICI bank for being so negligent, making security breach and ignoring customer requests causing damage in big way.

                                  I am an account holder for the past 5 years in ICICI bank. I have moved to US and I wanted to update my mobile number. Since I was unable to visit their branch while I was in Chennai, India, I had couriered the required form for updating the phone number to their Mumbai office on Dec 22nd, 2015. The courier was delivered on December 28th, 2015. From January 4th to till date I am communicating in emails as to why the number isn't updated. I am unsure if a mobile number change is a huge process at their end that its taking more than a month to update. This service request was raised by their customer support only. When I tried to check the status it says that there isn't any request at all.
                                  I have not received any phone call till now from their office on this. Even if I try to reach the CC person, they say they aren't the right person to connect.
                                  I was told that the documents that I have sent is lost in their office. Now whose irresponsibility is that?
                                  1st I sent to Mumbai office;then after repeated followups I was told to send the documents to Hyderabad office. When I asked them to co-ordinate and forward the documents to Hyderabad, I am told that they don't have any documents.
                                  I am not getting any responses for any of the request that I raise. Very delayed or nil responses to emails. A process which should not have taken more than 5 days is taking 40+ days with no resolution.

                                    This is Pawan Kumar, holding an ICICI saving b/a :[protected] at Gurgaon - Sushant Lok Branch, Haryana My complaint is related to the minimum account balance charges, that bank has debited from my account without even notifying there policy changes from last 10 Months. ICICI bank is simply debiting amount from my account. I get monthly statements but I have never got any information about the policy changes. I think ICICI bank is not even following the guidelines mentioned by RBI. I do not have any mail informing about this SMAB charges. I have no information from ICICI. No call, no mail and no message. Now that I understand that ICICI bank has not informed me about change of balance system and if charges deducted are not credited back to my account then
                                    * I will be closing my account with no other option but to take this matter to higher authorities and Banking Ombudsman as this is CLEAR VIOLATION of Rule 8(1)(k) i.e. levying of charges without adequate prior notice to the customer & of The Banking Ombudsman Scheme 2006. Please find the below details for all the transactions made by bank. I tried to get in touch with the manager but they say we can't do anything about this. My contact Number is [protected].                                       I have an FD with ICICI bank, which has been liened against my home loan. I submitted all the documents along with request to remove lien so that I can break the FD. Staff at Panvel branch said it will be done within a few days. It's bee 2 months now, I have visited the branch 5 times, but nothing has been done. They keep saying some approval is pending or it is under process. The deputy manager keeps giving me false promise that it will be done in a few days. If they can't even remove a simple lien from an FD I wonder how they handle other issues.
                                      While taking the loan I have been told that the name of the applicant can be changed later. When I wen tot change the name, they said it is not possible.
                                      Do they get customers based on lies? Now I know why people suggested me not to go to ICICI bank. I will transfer my loan to some other bank soon because I don't know how much trouble lies ahead for me.

His first name is spelt Autar but it was wrongly printed as Avtar in his old PAN card and his account was opened by ICICI bank in the name Avtar.
