I have booked a rail ticket for four passengers in Rameswaram - Okha Express from Katpadi to Manmad and status on Booking is Waiting List to all the four passengers. Two hours prior to the departure of the train chart was finalised and I received a mail regarding the status of my ticket, in which first two passengers in the ticket got confimed and remaining two passengers stood wait listed. Immediately I have filed a TDR for cancellation of two waitlisted passengers. In this connection, I have obtained a written confirmation from the TTE stating that partly waitlisted passengers not travelled in the train on 28/06/2014. Then TTE collected in difference rail fare due to rivision for tow confirmed passengers only and the receipt of the same is also sent to IRCTC. But till date my refund is not made. When ever I send a mail to IRCTC they will simply reply that my request has been sent to south west railway and the request is pending for process. But the South Western Railway confirms that till date IRCTC has not sent the confirmation Certificate received from the TTE stating that partly waitlisted passengers never travelled, which I have sent the Original Certificate to IRCTC. Please help me to get my refund at the earliest.

    I have Booked a ticket from IRCTC.(PNR number [protected]) the train got delayed by 12 hrs so I filed a TDR for Refund of ticket. Its Been more than a year but I did not receive a single rupee. IRCTC citing the reason that as per letter "DER060214V33306" 'As per chart, passenger has travelled' I have provided the alternate ticket with which i travelled but after that no response from IRCTC. Please Look into the Matter at the earliest It is more than a year I am running after IRCTC. Thanks Vamdeo [protected]

    Railway rule for cancellation has changed recently. TDR(request for cancellation) must be filed before the departure of train from boarding station if its late by more than 3 hours.     I Cancelled the one online ticket after chart Prepared.So that time cancellation was not possible so I Filled the TDR to refund the amount..


    Now More than 3 months(more than 95 days) is gone, but i did not get the refund amount.

    Could you please help me on this concern..

    I booked four tatkal tickets on Train no 15036 date of journey[protected]. Booking wasn't confirmed and I received the refund of Rs 1940 only. The booked tickets cost me Rs 2136.18.

      Our PNR No is [protected], we travelled on 25 Oct from Bareilly to New Delhi on12235 / DBRG NDLS RAJEXP. And here the staff was very very rude and totally unprofessional. I wanted to register a complaint and asked for the complaint book at around Hapur, but the same was not provided. I have to remind the attendant Mr Arvind Pandey ( photo attached) 4-5 times and he didnot get me that. Than some guy ( without name tag) who identified himself as Alam came with the attendant and said the complaint feedbook book will not be provided as the train is about to reach the designation. The worst ta hing about the attitude is the way they were talking, so arrogant that anything they do, will go unnoticed and that me being a female they could easily ( man-) handle. These two guys are a disgrace to the railways and should be trained ( they seem beyond training) or sacked before they commit some serious crime. Also at new delhi station they blocked the way and the passengers have to wait before they could alight with their stuff. My specific complaint is 1. Food Quality very bad ( rotten & stale food served) 2. Complaint book not provided even after repeated request 3. The manager in-charge didnot feel the need to visit even though the message for specifically conveyed to him 4. The attitude and behaviour of Arvind Pandey & Alam ( their photos are attached), they looked and behaved like criminals, blocking the way for all the passengers. 5. Staff to display their name at all times.

        1. This is in regards to PNR#[protected] and transaction ID[protected] travel date was on 16th november. There were 2 passengers 1st passenger was confirmed and second passenger was on waiting which did not get confirmed. First passenger did ask the ticket checker in train for non travelling certificate but he failed to provide that, stating indian railways does not provide any sort of certificate like this for the tickets booked through IRCTC portal. 2. We did file the TDR on same day i.e. on 16.11.2014 at 12 O' Clock in the noon within 2 hours of the departure of the train no 12142 from Patna Jn and then called on your customer care number. executive told me just mark an email to [protected]@irctc.co.in and keep [protected]@irctc.co.in in cc and after that I got system generated massage. 3. The TDR filled was repudiated by the Railways, stating failed to collect TDR/TTE certificate/GC. 4. We booked another ticket under tatkal facility for the passenger whose ticket remained wait listed on 17th Nov. for travel on 18th Nov. PNR no [protected] and transaction ID[protected] . That is simply a proof of that passenger 2 was not travelling with that train. I understand irctc have policies of non travelling certificate but what could be done at that time if TC was denied to provide that. 5. I have filed TDR within 2 hours of actual departure time of train that is 11. 14am and I sent an email to you at 12.42 of same date from the same email id I have that email in my inbox which is clearly showing that I filed tdr and passenger 1 requested to TC for the non traveling certificate which was denied by him. 6.All customer care numbers getting not reachable. I have sent email with attachment but didnt get reply. 7. My Irctc Id is "abhi_fanaa" in which all booking details that can be used as a proof and the genuineness of the complaint. I am expecting a positive response on this please do the needful as soon as possible. Thanking you Regards Shruti prakash

            Tickets from new delhi to new jalpaiguri booked on[protected] at 08.20 the day site opened but till today our tickets are on waiting number 3rd, 4rth, 5th & 6th please see why our tickets are on waiting even after two months if this is our system of booking of railways then who we will travel, so please look into this and get confirmed our tickets . our PNR no .[protected] mob .[protected]

I HAVE SCREENSHOT OF CNF TICKET AS WELL AS SMS FROM IRCTC THAT TICKET IS CONFIRMED BUT NOW FROM TODAY WHEN I TRY TO PRINT TICKET IT SHOWS PQWL7. I HAVE SENT THOSE IN THE EMAIL TO IRCTC. WHEN I BOOKED TICKET IT WAS PQWL5 AND MOVED TO PQWL1 AND AROUND 3-4DAYS AGO I GOT SMS THAT TICKET IS CONFIRMED AND BASED ON THAT I CANCELLED ALL OTHER OPTIONS FOR MY TRAVEL. NOW CNF TICKET SHOWS PQWL AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. THIS IS PURE CHEATING..

                I was allowed to board the train and given a confirm seat; BUT none was able to clarify WHY the system showed my booking status to Wait List PQWL after CNF? I was told that If it is CNF then dial 139 and confirm back and board the train and u will get confirm seat. However they were not sure why system did this goo[censored]p.
                I shudder to think if system would have done wait listing and would have triggered same status to all nodes then I would not have got a confirmed seat for sure. Thankfully the failsafe on irctc server worked this time.
                Can u plz sort such anamolies in ur systems??

                  I have booked an Online Ticket through the IRCTC Official website Dated 29th October 2014 (PNR no.[protected]. Due to Waiting List the ticket didn't get Confirmed. As according to the Official procedure the Refund should have reflected in my Bank A/C after few days, but it didn't happen. So it is requested to take further action in response of my complaint as soon as possible.Thanking You

                      My name is KIRTI . We were traveling from Secundrabad to Lucknow on Dt : 28/11/2014, by Train no : 12590 . PNR no :[protected], Ticket no : A35347408, A35347409 & A35347410, Coach S9, to attend my brothers wedding at Lucknow . I was sitting on seat no : SU32, suddenly the window came down on my right hand on dt : 29/112014 at around 10 am the pain was very severe, and had swelling on the right hand below the little finger . once i reached lucknow on 29/11/14, i went to doctor, he said to go for Xray, he confirmed that there was a hair line fracture and i had to put POP ( Plaster of Paris ) for 3 weeks . I had to attend wedding with a fractured hand due to the poor maintenance of railways . i am also doing my D Pharmacy in Hyderabad . My children are studying, and my husband has to leave office for 3 weeks and look after me .We had to Under go lot of pain, stress. I request the concerned authority to compensate for the loss due to poor maintenance / negligence of your staff . Kindly do the needful .                           sir. I have cancelled the e ticket of PNR NO, [protected] on 02 December 14 at 10:29hrs. the e ticket was for the train on 23Jan 15. I havent recieved my refund amount yet and its 26 th hour after the cancellation. On the refund status they are showing that the refund is approved but the refund date column is left blank. I feel some technical error has occurred. So I request you to make arrangements to refund my amount of Rs.2950 as soon as possible. It frightens me when I see online complaints of people sayin that they havent recieved the money since 9 months.. Pls help me. My Cancellation/Refund id is [protected]. Im attaching the screenshot of my refund status approval which shows refund date nill and email copy of cancelled ticket

                            HI, This is regarding the closed TDR for PNR - ‘[protected]’ and transaction ID – ‘[protected]’ I have booked two tickets from MADGOAN to MUMBAI – PNR TRAIN FROM TO DATE TIME BOOKED TDR DATE & TIME [protected] 12202 MADGOAN PANVEL 10-Nov-14 1:20 AM 29-Oct-14 09-Nov-2014 10:19:47 HRS [protected] 10104 MADGOAN THANE 9-Nov-14 9:15 AM 6-Nov-14 And I have travelled by train No. 10104 with PNR no. [protected]. It is impossible for anyone to travel in the same day with two different trains. I am not sure why it is telling – “Reason for Repudiate TDR: As per chart, passenger has travelled “. There is something wrong and I would like to reinvest on this matter. I request to you please reopen my close TDR, PNR No – ‘[protected]’ and transaction ID – ‘[protected]’.

                                कम से कम 15 बार ये हुआ आज.… और अक्सर होता है.… Inline image 1 IRCTC सुविधा कम असुविधा ज़्यादा है और आप लोग टका सा जवाब देते रहना कि बेहतर कर रहे हैं.… कुछ बेहतर नहीं है, सब बदतर है.… IRCTC Beta site नाम के लिए, काम वही घटिया सा TATKAL hours में मेन साइट बार बार क्रैश और कितने सारे तो CAPTCHA लगा दिए हैं जिससे मेन काम (तत्काल रिज़र्वेशन) और देर से हो.… कुल मिला के फ्रस्ट्रेशन और निराशा। अब ऐसे में, तारीफ़ क्या लिखे कोई.… शिकायत और कुढ़न ही निकलेगी इस तरह.

                                  t tried to book ticket for 17256 naraspur express from palakol to secunderabad jn on21/11/2014 subject to condition that atleast one lower bearth but it came not available say yes or no, i said no but the amount for rs 2122 was deducted from my debit card as above to your account noxx0789 from pos irctc i have complained to customer care and was told amount will be refunded in 4to 5 working days but till day amount not refunded how did you debit our amount without booking ticket its very bad even though you are not refunding after 11dats

                                    I have sent email requested to IRCTC customer care to cancel tickets of all passengers(three) with PNR [protected] and modification of TDR filed online. We (all passengers) could not travel due to two waitlisted and one RAC tickets in Yesvantpur Howrah Duranto express(12246)confirmed after chart preparation. I have wrongly filed TDR for one RAC passenger online thinking that my other Waitlist ticket will be cancelled automatically(waitlist e-ticket rule after chart preparation).But, it is the issue of partly RAC/partly waitlist e-ticket when contacted IRCTC helpline number immediately after TDR filing online. I have sent email immediately as per instruction from IRCTC helpline number to customer care([protected]@irctc.co.in) about TDR modification(cancellation of tickets for all passengers with PNR [protected]). i have sent this email request regarding ticket cancellation of all passengers and TDR modification more than three hours before schedule departure of train as per indian railway refund rule.I have also received acknowledgement from IRCTC customer care within one hour. I didn't receive refund of all passengers with PNR [protected] even after several email request to IRCTC customer care, IRCTC TDR process, railway minister and railway officials. IRCTC TDR process has first delayed my refund for more than five months and then partially refunded(refund for only one passenger) after my several email request.

                                    Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation [IRCTC] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                    I get an irrelevant reply from IRCTC customer care([protected]@irctc.co.in) . i had sent request regarding ticket cancellation of all passengers and TDR modification filed online more than three hours before schedule departure of train as per indian railway refund rule.

                                    So, i am requesting you to please refund all passengers fare (excluding applicable cancellation charges) with PNR [protected] instead of said same answer same story about refund of only one passenger fare.
                                    no refund till now even after filing complaint here

                                      I am Jayshree Desai. On 28th November, 2014 I boarded train no. 12293 from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus from Mumbai to Allahabad. Travelling with me was a group of 18 other women. Since the time we sat to this morning while I lodge this complaint, the toilet facilities in our compartment are not working. Reason given- water is not there. We approached the TC - G.K. Pandey who kept telling us it will get done soon. We are all in our mid fifties. This kind of inconvenience is impossible for us to bear. This morning finally when we the entire compartment approached the mechanic and the TC they just laughed it off saying we are not responsible. How can a passenger travel for that many hours without using the basic service that we pay for and are entitled to?
