This is to inform you that I had booked a ticket on 13/06/2014 (PNR NO:[protected]) but after chart preparation I got a message that the ticket has been confirmed as RAC & I was unable to travel because I had to take my family as well. I was trying to cancel the ticket through my login ID but unable to do so as the ticket was not showing in booking history & filing TDR for which I tried to contact customer care to technical help but not able to reach out, for which I shoot a mail to concern party through [IRCTC #4138397] for cancellation of my ticket before 10 hours of the actual departure of the train (02815) for which I was unable to proceed for filing TDR & getting my amount refund. Kindly investigate the issue & help me out on this matter

    I am using the Carmelaram station for last 2 years for my travel towards madurai and my return travel. I stay near marathahalli and I used to start around 9.15 PM to reach carmelaram station. If I have to reach Majestic, it will take 2 hours for me. This stage is going to benefit many people who are currently using it. Moreover this also helps in reducing the number of vehicles moving towards Majestic or city limits. Kindly consider our request to have this stage back for the Train Numbers 16236/1623.

      Indian railway world largest organisation. So pleased stop to this types of behavioural done by one of normal contractor. I have following complaints. (1)- over chagrin almost double, triple rate . Indian railway given them official rate . 0-12. 05 rs. And 12-24. 10 rs.they are charged to the customer almost double, triple rate ... like 0-12 10rs. And 12-24. 20 rs with printed sleep...
      (2)- they are not displayed rate singing board.
      (3)- if any arguments they are doing missing patrol from the bike or also done damage bike tyre and tube.
      On the above system all the anand railway station staff involved. Like a station master .. parmar sayab, c.m.i sayab. O.s sayab .. they all are involved and motivated to contractor for doing this type of behaviour with indian railway... with this type off system all the customers face the prablem ... please railway administration accepted my prablems and take it some fast action.

        Hi, I use to travel frequently from Karmelaram (CRLM) Railway station - Bangalore to Virudhnagar (VPT) in 16236 (Tuticorin Exp), similarly while coming from Virudhunagar in 16235 (Mysore Exp), I use to get down in Karmelaram. Now as per Railway department's new update these trains are not having a stop in Karmelaram railway station. Because of this passengers around Marathahalli, HSR Layout, Sarjapura Road, Whitefiled, BTM Layout, Madivala and etc are forced to travel 20+ KM inside the Bangalore city. As per this Railway department's new update all other Express trains are having a stop as usual except this Tuticorin and Mysore Express. List of expresses having stop in CRLM are following 12677 ERNAKULAM EXP 12678 BANGALORE EXP 16232 MAILADUTURAI EX 16231 MYSORE EXPRESS 16527 YPR CANNANORE E 16528 YESVANTPUR EXP. But I wonder why they removed only Tuticorin / Mysore Express. Tuticorin train usually crosses CRLM station by 10PM-10:30 PM. In this station it stops for only one minute, that will not make any delay in travel. This train can be delayed only because of following two reasons, 1) This train considered as a Passenger train between Bangalore<->Mysore. 2) This train requires engine direction change in ERODE Junction which will take around 1 hour time. Currently in this station boarding passengers may be less because of infrasture of this station, like platforms are under construction, not much light in night time, no toilet, each platform having only four sit-out places. Actually passengers were expected 17235 (Nagercoil exp) / 17236 (Bangalore Exp) also will stop in CRLM. But now no connectivity from CRLM to Madurai/Virudhunagar/Tuticorin/Tirunelveli/Nagarcovil junctions. Please enable the service as usual from CRLM and support passengers. Thanks, Nagarajan. K

        Hi, Agree with your comments. This karmelaram station was very useful for people around HSR Layout, Sarjapura Road, Whitefiled, BTM Layout, Madivala, Bommanahalli, Jayanagar. As train timing is 10pm we can easily reach after coming back from the work.
        Now getting into Majestic station by 9pm train, from BTM it would take 1-2 hours in peak hours after 6pm. One need to take half day leave for catching the train at 9pm. Really very very disappoined.


        We request Railway Officials to review the decision and please open this again for public benefit. Thanks.
        I also agree with the comments above. It is very useful for the people who stays around SilkBoard, Marathahalli, Sarajapur Road, WhiteField, ITPL. I request the officials to review and make arrangement for stopping this trains in Carmelaram station.

        Good NEWS.

        I spoke to the Cramelaram Station master, as per his communication the tuticorin train will be stopped as usual. But during ticket booking, CRLM wont reflect for some days in IRCTC for this particular train.

        Thanks to Indian Railway department and please complete the remaining station works ASAP.

        Thanks for your information. But whether it will not be a problem to board at CRLM when the boarding point is SBC.
        Same thing happened for my Mayiladuthurai and Mysore Express (16231 and 16232).
        They removed the stops CRLM and Kengeri (KGI).These are useful stations for the passengers to skip Bangalore traffic to go SBC.Pls make the stops as usual and update the same in IRCTC for ticket booking.

        I also agree with ur point. same like you i also used to travel Virudhunagar often by tuticorin express or Nagercoil express.but i find some times Banglore - tuticorin 16236 does not halt in Carmelaram station. so i travel from munnekolala to majestic . and boarding from majestic only.is it sure that train heading towards tuticorin and nagercoil will halt at Carmelaram atleast for a minute? if you have any recent update please let me know.

        I am frequently using Bangalore - Nagercoil express. While going to nagercoil we have to go to hosur or majestic to catch this train which is very difficult. Passengers are eagerly expecting the stoppage of this train at Carmelarm at both the directions. Sending so many mails and complaints to the railways are in vain.

        Can we travel in Passenger train with Reservation ticket ? As am coming from Tirunelveli to Bangalore I want to get down in karmelaram station, (17236)
        But my train will not stop at this station and after reaching Bangalore its very difficult to coming back to Karmallram,
        so is it possible to get down in hosier and get a passenger train to travel from Hosur to karmellaram with the same reserved tkt(TEN-SBC).
        Can we travel in Passenger train with Reservation ticket ? As am coming from Tirunelveli to Bangalore I want to get down in karmelaram station,
        But my train will not stop at this station and after reaching Bangalore its very difficult to coming back to Karmallram,
        so is it possible to get down in hosur and get a passenger train to travel from Hosur to karmellaram with the same reserved tkt(TEN-SBC).

          My wife and I (both) senior citizens travelled from Ratlam to Mumbai on Train No. 19062. The attendant was not available when we entered the IIAC Compartment. The AC was NOT WORKING and I went in search of the AC mechanic. He said that he was trying to fix the AC. He pointed to the Attendant who was sitting on a seat (No 25) and reading the newspaper. When I requested him for the bedding, he said "Aataa hun" and CONTINUED TO READ THE PAPER. Was very rude in his behavior. He refused clean Blankets and pillows on the grounds that he did not have any extra ones. On the intervention of the AC mechanic, he finally gave me two clean blankets (He said that he had exactly 46 sets + FIVE extra blankets. This is nonsense. He should have bedding sets as per the passengers in the train, getting in at various stations) He only changed the pillow covers as he said that he had no pillows. The only thing new he gave us were the laundered bedsheets and hand towels.
          The AC did not work till Mumbai. When I complained to the Ratlam TC who collected Rs. 175/- from me as additional charges. I filed a complaint regarding the AC in his complaint book. He only berated the attendant for being rude and promised me that the AC and the Toilet Flush (which was not working) and the garbage in the compartment would be done by Vadodra. He got down at Vadodra, but nothing changed. The new TC who came in at Vadodra said that nothing could be done about the AC or the Toilet or garbage. He did not seem to care at all! Please institute an enquiry against him.
          I do not understand why after collecting HUGE SUMS as ticket fare for II AC travel, the WR still gives the passengers CATTLE CLASS SERVICE. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

            Dear sir, My name is Rituraj I am a students from last three years I m travelling from lucknow to Bangalore, to lucknow in these last years whenever I come from Bangalore to lucknow there wont be any problem on taking tatkaal reservation but why in lucknow we have to face many problems. There is a procedure in bangalore a person who wants the reservation, he has to be present at the reservation counter with his id in hand but in lucknow there is no such types of rules and regulation, and for the RPF, it is their duty to check everyone Id they are not doing there duty they all are corrupt and they use to earn money from agents. Daily it happens at Lucknow city station and please change the present RPF staff of lucknow city station specially Mr Daya Shanker Singh Its my humble request and please change the railway rules for tatkaal applicants. Please make one and simple rule any one member of the family has be present at the reservation counter with their Id.

              Dear Sir, Parcel booked for Bike transfer from Barkakana to Ambala cantt on 14.06.2014. The parcel dispatched on 17.06.2014 through train no. 18101- SE, Rear compartment-SLR no.948711.Even after submitting these all details, railway staff is unable to trace out the consignment till now. 2-times I have personally visited the Ambala parcel office, but no body is entertaining there and bothered about it to trace out. This is only due to carelessness of the staffs, who have not unloaded the bike @ Ambala cantt, when it was arrived on 19th June'14. Now, rly staff of parcel div. is asking me to visit every day for enquiry. I am [protected]@ Sangrur, 150 km away from Amabala cantt, Is it feasible to visit the Ambala rly stn. daily from Sangrur ? Second thing, after unloading the bike at Ambala cantt., they will charge Rs. 10 per hour, if not collected within 6 hrs. but for this rly staff will not intimate about receiving of bike, then, how consumer will come to know about the bike arrival, if it is not unloaded at previous scheduled time.                 Respected Sir /Madam Yesterday, at about 3 PM, I went to reserve a ticket (Train No. & Name: 14609; Hemkund Express (Haridwar to Ludhiana); Date of Journey: 05/07/2014; 2nd Class: ) at the Dhandari Kalan Ludhiana Computerized Railway Ticket Reservation counter (Counter No. 1). Regretfully saying that I (Shobh Nath Tiwari ) have made railway concession facilities as Business purposes. People comes to take reservation for business purpose not real necessary.I request him why are you blaming me .The government had given concession for those person who is unable to travel the journey with out an escort. I am not fond of taking facilities of railway to be a handicapped . it was my unfortunate daye when I met with an accident . It can be done with any people.Then he said there is not any seoerate window for handicapped person so you go main railway station which 15 km from my place. I request him that there is fews member in row. I will wait for some times.He mishaved me .at last he booked the ticket from Ludhiana to Haridwar confirm bu return journey he booked the ticket waiting .I request him there is lying vacant the seat in handicapped quota. But he did not listyen my request .my reservation pnr no is[protected] train no 14609 Hemkund Express dt 5/07/2014.ther is still lying vacant on that date in handicapped quota . Sir I do not that person name .But I request you to please find out that person who was on duty on the day date 19.07.2014 at 3 pm. & arrange to books my reservation from haridwar to Ludhiana confirm my seat.please do the needful Thanks Shobhnath tiwari [protected]

                i booked two ticket train no12430 new delhi to Lucknow pnr no .[protected] we both are old aged 65 and 72year my wife on knee replacement but birth alloted to us are 1-Cnf/A6/UB/38 2-cnf/A6/UB/40 IT WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE FOR MY TO OCCUPY UPPER SEAT it is my request you to please instruct or arrange at least one lower birth.

                    Railway is gone maniac coz of the loss. To make money they have given targets to collect penalty of 3500/- everyday to their employees. To achieve their targets people are forced to pay without their mistakes else they are retained for hours.2 days back I could not get down at malad station due to the conflicts of some ladies in train which caused me to get down at kandivli. alternate option was to jump from the moving train. Inspite of my several pleadings I was retained and was not retured my pass. i am a daily traveller. i even told to cross check if my people are waiting for me in Malad or not. Still the employee asked me to either give him some amount personally or pay full penalty. Shame on railway. Such rudely they manhandle genuine cases as well.

                        I would like to inform higher authorities that agents appointed by them for rural areas for facilitation easy ticket booking are charging much more than railways guidelines . I hereby inquired it in general interest in shivpuri district of MP in khaniadhana region where an agent named Ankur is charging irctc specified agent charge plus 20 rs per person booked therby.. Being accountable in interest of general public i want such case to be strictly inquired to for it forms the initial structure of corruption under a government control audit.

                          Dear Sir, My original PAN Card bearing No.AVSPK1638H was misplaces on 14.01.14 at Sealdah railway Station while I Was traveling from Sealdah to Guwahati by Kanchanjanga Express & the said card has been found by a person Mr. Dubey who is often use this card illegaly for booking of tickets etc. So you are hereby requested to do the needful so that this card can't be used illegally in further. The matter may be published in a local newspaper also if i am suggested. Thanks and regards Arup Kanti Kar

                            I am m.suresh.m and living in madurai.I went to vandalur on 16.6.2014 in electric train and and returned to chennai egmore station while returning, near Thamparam station the ticket checker checked my ticket and told me that the ticket is ordinary ticket but, you are entered in first class compartments and I ready to pay my fine and I shows my Madurai train ticket (time:9.20P.m) but, he delay to get my fine and collected fine amount Rs 270+540 (No: K0714925 & K0714821 .I entered the first class compartment unknowingly .I told him to catch my train within 2 hrs so, the ticket checker used my situation and collected extra amt from me My name is only on Rs270 only but, they entered another name on Rs540.I enquired them but, they said ” if you talk like this, I collect you money again” What is the fine amt? I paid the fine amt totally Rs 810 . please, take an action against the particular ticket checker.

                              Sir I was traveling from Chennai to Erode on 11 march 2014 in train Number 12695 with confirmed ticket in A1 seat number 1 2 &3. I am a Kidney failure patient, and I was admitted in Railway Hospital in Perambur (Chennai) from 23 September 2013 to 11 march 2014. I am wheelchair dependent and require at least two attender to support me. On the day of my discharge I requested for railway ambulance up to railway Station, and request to pick up us by 1300 hrs. Our train was scheduled to depart by 1525, but the ambulance reached us to pick up by 1420 hrs and it had two other patient for some referral treatment in other hospital due to which we reached railway station by 1500 hrs and my son rushed to collect wheelchair from station, by 1510 I was boarded into the train with the help of train attender and my son. As mentioned early I was in hospital for 8 months, we had few luggage with us to carry, which my wife and son where shifting into train, in mean process there was a checking done RPF on the platform which added further delay, due to which my wife was not able to board the train and this forced my son to pull the chain of the train. After this my son step down to help my wife to board the train and in mean time the same RPF person arrested my son and took over my medical pass and ticket. After explaining the situation also the RPF Did not handover the pass and ticket. They took my son into custody, and he was produced in railway court where he was fined RS 600. As there was no proper query and support done by RPF at the provided Situation, my wife and myself, we travelled from Chennai to arrakonam separately. I was in AC and my wife in ladies coach. The situation was explained to the TT who understood the situation. Our family suffered mental agony due to this. As my son was carrying all cash and card, we were left cashless in the train, and we where helped by co passenger. What is the purpose to chain in the train and what is meaning of emergency? I request you to look into the matter and to refund us rupees 600.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I had an e-ticket for my family from Sakleshpur to Yeshwanthpur with train no 16516 (KAWR YPR EXPRES) on May 8 with PNR [protected].

                                I called the call center 5 times and enquired they replied that the train is scheduled with a delay of 2.30 min and will arrive at 6 o clock. I also send an SMS to 139 and the same information was provided. I checked in your website and it showed the same info.

                                My family reached the station at 5: 00 pm in heavy rains and were informed by the station master that the train is diverted and wont arrive at the Sakleshpur station.

                                My family had to again go back in heavy rains.

                                This is very pathetic service by Indian railways with no information to the passenger of what the status of the train is. And I recieved only partial refund for the e-ticket.

                                I intend that that action must be taken against the authorities and compensation payed to my family.

                                Dear Sir, I had an e-ticket for my family from Sakleshpur to Yeshwanthpur with train no 16516 (KAWR YPR EXPRES) for[protected] with PNR [protected]. The ticket was conformed. I called the call center 5 times and enquired they replied that the train is scheduled with a delay of 2.30 min and will arrive at 6 o clock. I also send an SMS to 139 and the same information was provided. I checked in your website and it showed the same info. My family reached the station at 5: 00 pm in heavy rains and were informed by the station master that the train is diverted and wont arrive at the Sakleshpur station. My family had to again go back in heavy rains. This is very pathetic service by Indian railways with no information to the passenger of what the status of the train is. And I recieved only partial refund for the e-ticket. I intend that that action must be taken against the authorities and compensation payed to my family. Thanks, Asim

                                      Sir, I booked 3 items, namely 1motorbike and 2 parcelbags at Dadar satation for delivery to Chennai Egmore on 31/05/2014. Receipt No.979926. for train no 12163 DN. When my son approached Egmore parcel office only 2 items were delivered, namely 1 motorcycle and 1 parcelbag. 1 parcel bag was missing.The authorities were unable to trace the 2nd parcel bag.
