Issue:
The 7:15pm Lingampalli to Kacheguda MMTS reached Kacheguda at 9:15pm (delay of 1 hour) instead of 8:15pm, due to which we missed 9:00pm train to Bangalore (starts at Kacheguda to Yeshwantpur train), along with me about 150-200 people also missed the same train to Bangalore.
1. About 100 people among who missed train to Bangalore reached Kacheguda Station Master office for help and to lodge complaint, They said it is our mistake, we reached late, they cannot help.
2. There Railway securities took a video of all the people who gathered in their office
3. What I heard from one of their Security guard is that, this happens frequently and they got tired of controlling people.
How could we avoid this for future, so that people do not suffer in the situation like this.

First of all if the ticket is not confirmed then u need to go to the counter to cancel it and full refund (including extra) of your money will be provided. Now since the chart has been prepared so it would be better if you get it cancelled.
Other thing is that there is no guarantee that if you r booking a tatkal ticket then u will be provided with a confirm berth. There are thousands booking tatkal ticket also. You are saying u booked within 1 hr which is way too late. There are cases when all tickets are finished within seconds of opening tatkal. Once I did not get a ticket after 2 seconds also thanks to the hundreds of agents mushroomed all over.
So take care from next time.
