It is very annoying since last week all the express trains are getting late due to goods train getting more priority than these trains. I am a first class pass holder, I commute daily from vadodara to bharuch, due to late trains I get late every day at my work which is very annoying. I want railway authorities to sort it out whether passengers are important to them or goods.

Dear Sir,
I the under signed Ismail Bharuchi Regular First Class Pass Holder commuting daily from Kosad – Surat – Kosad in Umergaon - Baroda bound Memu Train which departing at 5.45 p.m. daily from Surat
In this first class coach uncivilized communes of second class such like bootleggers pick picketers and like wise making too much trouble.
Many times we First Class pass holders get no place to seat and when request to those culprits they angers and show their muscle power.
Some time we have to call guard to get seats, hence I on behalf of first class communes request you to look in to the matter arranging safety and starting checking from Surat station or Utran station with the hope than only all these notorious nuisances will stop.

    Old Faridabad par jo ladies TTE hai unhe baat karne ki tamij nhi hai wo hamesha train me ladies se batmiji se bat karti hai.
    Kya monthly pass me ek din time nhi hota ticket banwane ka?
    mgar wo kisi ke bat nhi sunti or sabse ladai to tayar ho jati hai. un logo ko passenger ki suvidh ke liye rakha gaya hai ki unse batmiji ke liye.
    Kya un logo ne jo Rs. joining ke time par reswat di thi to kya wo reswat ke rs humse collect karege.
    Hajaro log bina ticket ke safar karte hai mgar unhe koi check nhi karta.
    Ladies compartment me gent ka safar karna mana hai jab complain karte hai to 1-2 din checking hoti hai uske bad koi namo-nishan nhi hota. Un logo ek khilaf koi action nhi liya jata.

      My Parents were travelling from Chapra to Ranchi in 15028 Maurya express, Their PNR No was Pnr -[protected] . The 2nd AC Coach attendant gave used bed sheet to passengers,when they asked for complaint book he said he doesn't have one. The lavatory was unclean as there was no water as well. When will the NE railway or the SE railway make sure that this does not happen again and again.

      Indian Railways — BED ROLE

      I frequently travel between Dhanbad - Kolkata and Dhanbad - Rachi by rail in A.C sleeper coaches. It is observed that A.C. coach attendented are relucted to provide bed role (i.e.bed sheet, blanket, pillow etc). to pessager in such short distance. As if passenger of short distance are travelling at free of cost. Every time either I have to request them 3-4 times or verbal complain to TTE then only bed role will be provided. if any body keep quite then he will never get bed role. This type of incidence not only take place common expess train but also train like Rajdhani Express.

      Please do the needful at the earliest so that our rail journey become more comfortable.

          Today (27/11/2011), I have booked an online transaction to purchase a ticket for Sleeper class in Train No.11020 Train Name - Konark Express from Secunderabad (SC) to Berhampur (BAM) boarding at Secunderabad on 15/01/2012 for my wife Mrs.Nirmala Maharana aged-37 years. But unfortunately after the payment was made through SBI(ATM & Debit Card) ( for which I have received a SMS from SBI for transaction and deducted from my Saving Accounts for a sum of Rs.352/- only) payment gateway, the error, "REDIRECT=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon... displayed in my Computer Screen without giving me the confirmation of the payment and also the required ticket is not generated. But as per the SMS received from SBI the transaction has been made from my Saving Account.

          It is therefore, you are requested to either the ticket may be confirmed at your end or a sum of Rs.352/- refund to my Saving Account immediately please.

          In this regards your kind co-operation will highly regretted.

          very sorry, please read my amendment in my complaint as under :

            I am a citizen of Jamshedpur . According to tatkal reservation rule tatkal reservation should be open one day before the journey date . But today dated 27/11/2011 the tatkal tickets of 29/11/2011 has been already booked and showing waiting 70 or 80 in almost all the trains running to Mumbai rout .
            So kindly look at the matter seriously

              Myself, Faisal Jawed has booked a motorcycle from Moradabad to Kathiaar on dated 20th Nov 2011 against receipt no. 755874 and today is 26th Nov 2011, the motorcycle is not been delivered while questioning to Railways Officials about delivery status they replied that there is no deadline of delivery.


              Kindly help me out for the deliverance of my Motorcycle & let me know about the dead line as per Railway Norms.

                Dear sir, I have booked one motorcycle make Hero Honda Passion Pro PRB NO. 550393
                from Delhi Jn to Ballia Jn on 11 Nov 11 at around 1500 hr. According to railway rules it should reached at the destination within 48 hr but till date on (23 Nov 11) I have not received my motorcycle .                   Lot many times when I try to book the ticket or to search for available trains the site says "Unable to retrieve due to communication failure"
                  This is really pathetic to see every time when we open the Railway site (irctc.co.in)..Indian railways are not worried about the common people who tried to book the ticket online.
                  It is really shame for the railway dept. to trouble us always, as this is been seen from almost last three months. No expert is there in Indian railway to restore this. Shame on you Indian Railways...

                    I had booked a ticket from Yeshwantapur to Kazipet on 25/10/2011 and PNR no. is [protected]. But i did'nt carried the ticket. Im the person who is travelling in train. I had all my ID proofs. But the TC had collected Rs. 310 . For not carrying the ticket. Here I had a question.

                    For E-ticket , If the person is not carrying ticket you people will collect Rs. 50/- as fine . But in the case of counter ticket it was not the same.

                    It was not fair of collecting Rs. 310 from me. Please i need immediate response on this issue.

                    I travelled by 1097 Ernakulam Express from Pune to Kanhangad on the 13th of February.
                    The reservation of ticket is:Transaction id: [protected] PNR No.[protected]
                    Class 3A Passengers: Anant Raman S 72/M Mrs Rajan A F/67

                    When I boarded the train at Pune station, I was not comfortable with the atmosphere in the 3A coach. The TTE arrived and I told him of the problem. He asked whether I would like to be upgraded to 2A and that there were two side berths only. I was agreeable to the upgradation. He marked berths 47 and 48 in A1 coach and asked me to proceed there. All this happened at 11.30 pm, close to midnight.

                    At about 11.45 pm, the TTE came and asked for Rs.1500. I was shocked and surprised because I thought it was a normal upgradation to vacant seats in 2A. Nevertheless, it was not prepared for an argument at midnight and I was too tired and sleepy. I gave him the money.

                    He came back ten minutes later and gave me a receipt and told me that he will give me the balance. Then he did not come. Next morning I found a new TTE and I was told that there was change of duty at Miraj at about 5 in the morning. There disappeared my balance money!

                    Now comes to the calculation part. The TTE had calculated difference in fare and excess fare etc and had given receipt for Rs.900. I do not know how he came to such a figure. According to me:

                    Rs.1219 is the fare I had paid for the berths in 3A vide the above PNR [protected]
                    Rs. 900 is the excess collected from me vide receipt No.B620231 dated 13.2.2010 towards dif ference in fare
                    Rs.2119 is the total paid
                    Rs.1667 is the fare for the two o[censored]s in 2A according to the figure available in internet
                    Rs.452 is therefore the amount excess collected from me and so due to me from the Railways
                    Rs.600 is the amount due to me from the TTE

                    Is there any way I can get the above amounts? I

                      We boarded the Bareily - Lokmanya Tilak Terminus train no. 14314 UP on date 12.11.2011 at Aligarh. We have confirm reservation agains PNR[protected] berth nos. 8,10,11,12 &17. Two of our family members did not turn up and my wife was suffering from backache so she needed the lower berth. But train conductor alloted both our lower berths i.e. berths no.s 11 and 17 to other passengers without confirming us and forced us to vacate these berths.When we requested to retain our lower berth no. 11 .TTE and the passengers who were alloted the berths started shouting and pulled out our luggage forcibly from berth no. 11 .On our repeated requests he alloted us lower berth no. 45 which was at another end from berth no. 8 and 10.For the whole night me and my son had to move to berth 45 to assist my wife at berth no. 45
                      Requesting you to kindly look into the matter .

                        i go office in morning at the time of .8.10 am EMU Ghaziabad to New Delhi... and daily up and down.... but in ladies coach there is always sits Gents in the place of ladies.. and shouting ... but there is no security and no rules in morning and evening emu as a aligarh first and emu which arrives delhi at new 7.00 p,m...


                        i request u plz send ladies security in every emu train .... as soon as possible..

                        I will travel by train PINAKINI (Train No: 12711 -> 12712). In that train, for ladies coach there is no proper security. The Train starts from Vijayawada. From there to till Onglole only security gaurds are coming. There they are getting down. So, all gents are coming into that coach and Harasses ladies. Till Chennai, this is the situation. When train returns from Chennai to Vijayawada, that time also no security in ladies coaches.

                        So, please provide proper security.I hope that this problem will solve as soon as possible.

                          I am feeling very pity for our Indian Railway , whose working style is . I have booked 7 tickets from chakki bank to Bandra terminas, tickets were confirmed. Train timings were 11.05 from chakki bank station but when i reached at station there was a notice train no 09022 is running delay with 16 hours. It was strange that there was no any accident or anything and amazing thing was that entire railway department was behaving neutral. they were behaving so rude. They were shouting on inquiry counter.
                          Many times i had called up on 139 complaint no, so every time they were giving different statements.
                          This bloody entire department should be closed ...
                          I have never seen such kind of frustrated and uneducated staff....

                            On 11.11.2011 i have parked My two wheeler in Trichy railway junction at the parking area at 3.15p.m and i have paid Rs.4.00 and next day evening 3.10 i have taken my bike at the time the person who sited in the parking counter asked another Rs.4.00.And i have seen the notice board and i am asked for 24 hours Railway Management is charging Rs.4.00 but you are asked another Rs.4 then he said you have parked yesterday and today is the next day so you have to give another Rs.4 and once again i am shown the Railway notice board(Its clearly mention RS.4 for 24 hours Parking) then i am argue with that guy and he used abusing words and i have said,i will RPF police then he said OK no problem inform to RPF and he said My name is Mohan don't forget my name at that time you have inform to police.And i am not informed to them because they all are same culprits.Rs.4.00 is not a matter but how those guys are treated the passengers and they cheated Rs.4 for each and every passengers.But railway management will not take any action against lease holder.Because all these lease holders are local rowdies and gundas.Kindly take some action against these peoples.My e-mail id: [protected]@yahoo.com

                              Reference: Mal Practice By the Luggage Booking Staff on Train No. 13005 Departing on November 15, 2011 from Howrah for Amritsar

                              With respect to the above I am to inform you that my manufacturer’s mechanic was booked in the above train for Ludhiana , PNR No. [protected] he had some heavy luggage with him, which was basically some defective parts of the machine supplied by the manufacturer.
                              We wanted to book the goods in the Luggage of the train as it would not be viable to carry extra goods with one person.

                              When we tried to book the luggage for the same the person in charge at the station for booking the goods started asking for Rs. 3000.00 (Rupees Three Thousand) without weighing the goods, on our repeated request to weigh the goods and change us according to the fare chart the person was not willing to weigh the goods and said that he will make the fare chart according to his wish and that we have to pay him Rs. 3000.00

                              When we did not agree to pay the same, he refused to book our goods on the train and ultimately we had to get the goods back to our factory.

                              We would now like to enquire from you, is this how you treat a common passenger? Does getting a Railway Job gives you a right to fleece the passenger and harass him?

                              What was our fault that the goods were not booked on the train in spite of the passenger having a confirmed and a valid ticket?

                              Who will bear for the loss for production for the spares reaching the factory late.

                              One officer’s unjust demand of Rs. 3000.00 has caused us a delay of 7 days, who bears our loss and the loss to the state exchequer for the taxes which would have been paid from the production from the machine.

                              We would like to know how and what action you plan to take against the corrupt official, who has caused a great delay and harassment to us and loss to the exchequer for his own selfish demands.

                                I am a regular traveller in ASHRAM EXPRESS (12916) delhi to ahmedabad.. on 30 oct 2011 The compartments (S 13) of this train are very dirty. no water facility & no cleaning in this compartments. There were cockroaches all around the seats. and I could not sleep in entire journey.

                                  Issue :- I have booked a train ticket and the Status of the ticket was ' Waiting List ' till the day of journey.

                                  Since the ticket is not confirmed the money has to back revert back to my account as per rules of 'Indian Railways',however it was not happened.

                                  Later i spoke to one of the ' Railway Customer Care Execute' regarding this issue and they advised me to create a complaint through this site.

                                  Could you please look into this issue and do the needful as early as possible.

                                    on 18th october 2011, I was travelling from Pune to Habibganj [Bhopa} by train no. 11077 Jhelum Express in coach no.B-1 {birth no. 52] on a ticket PNR no.[protected].My suitcase was damaged in the night by rats, it was extensively bitten .I lodged a written complaint with TTE[ with a claim of Rs. 5000] in morning when I noticed .The TTE gave me a copy of complaint and assured me that I may soon hear from Railway Authority in the matter and that he would submit the complaint at Jhansi office for immediate action .It is now more than three weeks I am yet to hear from railways.

                                      Respected Minister of Railway,
                                      My user id is "tpslko" on irctc.co.in. While booking the ticket whenever the option of "At least one lower berth" or "At least two lower berth" is checked, it always fail and have to opt for any choice. Even for Sr. Citizen it always allot upper berth, irrespective of availability as from counters(like agents) afterward we can have lower berth easily. It seems as this fault is intentionally made. This problem giving regular financial losses to us as have to frequently cancel absurd tickets, or the payements are pre deducted from account which are refunded with great delay if ticket rejected. Kindly check and rectify it.

                                        With due respect and humble submission, I want to make this request regarding the noise pollution made by unnecessary honking and alarm near the residential areas of Bangalore. I felt the problem before and now a days I'm feeling it daily, that yes, this is really a big problem for whole day long. My living place is near to the Outer Ring Road of Hebbal Big Bazzar, Bangalore and I am a student. I feel that while the crossing gate use to get closed they put on the alarm beside the RED signal to stop crossing. I mean to say that in this electronic city, we cross many signals during the day's journey to every destination, but we all have been following the signals in very proper manner. So, why is this unnecessary alarm. Again, i found that the train use to honk in front of the signal many times and each time they pass by, even though the crossing gate is already closed. Sometimes I used to say my friends and make laughter saying that 'the train will honk three or four times near this signal, whenever they come to my place. They laugh and say that why don't I change my room and stay somewhere else. Even I know that, that is the best option. But why should I do that, if I haven't done any wrong? This is unnecessary sound that must be stopped to do. It's not like somebody jumps over the track or there is no driver in the engine to control the train. But do it whenever necessary, isn't it? I don't know when my complaint will be actually granted but you can really get us rid of these noise pollution in actual through discussion with superiors. So, with lots of hope I am leaving this complaint and wishing for real Indian(Southern) Railway or wholly Indian development. With Regards, Thanking You.

                                        There is Very Very Very Loud Deafening Noise Pollution in Residential areas around near hebbal - kempapura, those working in night shift regularly lose their sleep due to such Deafening Noise Pollution throughout the day, Night shift working people sleep during day time but there is so much of Deafening Banging Noise pollution that sleep is regularly getting disturbed & Our Eardrums are getting Damaged. We Hardly get 4 to 5 hours Sleep due to the Deafening Noise Pollution, Losing Our Sleep We go to Work working entire night. There are quite a lot of people working in night shift here but regularly facing the same problem. I kindly request the residents associations in all these areas here to take a note of this nuisance.

                                        I would like to bring to your attention the unbearable noise that trains produce while passing through Hebbal, Bangalore. They constantly and repeatedly blow their horns which clearly surpass the decibel level observed to maintain a good health. This is creating uncalled for stress levels in the community and it's a health hazard.

                                        Would you please instruct the drivers to stop this insanity?

                                        This is to bring to notice to the concerned railway officers, about the noise pollution every train contributes, which is really disgusting and unbearable. Most of The trains are so noisy and on top of it the drivers just honk repeatedly which is unnecessary. Barricades should be put by the side of tracks in the city limits and see that people do not take short cuts on these tracks. If they do so it is at their risk and trains need not bother about that and keep honking, disturbing the lives of many . Instructions should be clear at crossings and at all stations. Passengers should be responsible to follow them. Instead of making the public aware of rules and regulations, railways are just adding to the noise pollution.. All railway drivers should be made aware of the noise pollution they are creating and ask them to move as silently as possible in the city limits and near stations. They should allow the public to follow rules and become responsible... Hope the noise will lessen as soon as possible and allow people to lead a peaceful life...
                                        With due respect and humble submission, I want to make this request regarding the noise pollution made by unnecessary honking and alarm near the residential area of kolkata(Eastern railways-South section-Sealdah). I felt the problem before and now a days I'm feeling it daily, that yes, this is really a big problem for whole day long. My living place is near Motijhil lane(2nd Bridge), Kolkata-700015 and I am employee in a media company. Previously that area was a accident prone zone(2 years ago), but now due to some effective measures the number of accident has fallen to nil.Moreover people has become more sensible.But still they are honking loudly without consideing that anyone is crossing the line or not. This is creating an unnecessary sound pollution withing the residential area leading to disturbance of old & aged people, small kids who are studying at some etc. Moreover as the Sealdah(South) station is nearby and trains also donot ply very fast, then why are they honking so loudly creating an unlivelihood situation.
                                        So, with lots of hope I am leaving this complaint and wishing for the Eastern Railways-Sealdah South section to mitigate this problem asap, so that we can stay calmly at our houses.
                                        We need solution to this noisy problem. Indian Railway causes so much distress all over the country by honking all along its more than 65000 km rail routes. Can we not devise better ways to handle any safety concerns?

                                        Indian railways is the worst service ever known. You people do not think of health concerns of indians. My house was a bit far from railway track when was a child then you indian railways doubled up lines i.E put another two lines and it's now close to my house. These ### drivers of indian railways blow horn repeatedly which is a serious health hazzard. The number of trains have increased and not to wonder, indian railways looking only for money, the number of goods trains are running more frequently and reason are the industrial companies like vedanta, bhushan who are growing up killing indians with disastrous pollution. To an addition this non sense indian railways producing so much noise pollution which is a health hazzard. Our dearest railway minister of india, please stop doing this insanity and advice your drivers to stop blowing unnecessary horn which is irritating and produces so much noise pollution. Have stayed in many eoropean countries and they absolutely make zero noise with thier trains and accidents are very rare where as in india, the railways slowly kill people staying from long near railway tracks with the noise pollution especially of blowing horn. Tell me is that required to continuously blow horn continuously?? in india railway accident are highest in world rather than any other countries. Railway minister of india stop killing people like this. Request you to advise / make legal rules and all necessary measures and steps to prevent this kind of noise pollution indian railways produce so much noise that even industries don't produce you indian railways you killing people you nonsense.
                                        Mr. Railway minister, please have the dare to sleep in high noise, come to my house and sleep for one night, then you will know how much noise pollution indian railways is making. Request you to please reduce blowing horn that too your horns are a serious health hazzard, which clearly surpass the decibel level observed to maintain good healththis is creative on called for stress levels and a serious health hazard. If we face health hazard the railway minister you also face health hazard, understand. Would you please instruct the train drivers to reduce this going on so frequently and stop this insanity?? indian railways you do not even deserve a thank you because you are so rude.
