Hi, i have taken a ticket from cochin to trivandrum on 28july 2016 with my net banking and after that i got an email saying the payment is on hold and please pay with other card and indigo send me a link for the same. I followed that link and it directly went to payment and i paid with my credit card. And the payment went trough and the booking was done. At the same time my other net banking one has also been booked. Now they allowed 2 seats for the same passenger with all the same details. And then i called the customer care they argue that they call me for the duplicate change. But wat is the point in that, if someone dint take the call, y can't u email them and let them know wats happening. I need my full refund for one of my tickets. I'm an nri and indigo was one good airlines i always take for my domestic travel. This is so sad happend from indigos side. My 2 pnr numbers are k998jm and a53tki.
Note: i was in malaysia when they tried calling me.

My name hitesh pithadia, i had not missed my flight if flight person co-operate me n board me to flight, because i was on last gate and just to board in flight, difference is 1 min only and flight person closed the gate and tel me now not possible. i already had complete all the formalities of airport authority also, c security check also done and stamp no : c-313. pls c attachment also
flight person come to me n had confirmed with pilot also, that there are two person with me (amit barod and hitesh pithadia). Then also they not waiting for us closed entry. Even i was on last gate, n request ur person but they not reply not possible.

    I would like to bring your kind attention towards how indigo staff behaved/harassed a minor boy who was on his first ride (Airline pnr ua5u83). He had three bags to carry. 1. Bag for luggage 2. A cabin baggage 3. Laptop baggage.
    He went to airport with already check-in gate pass but was asked to get it re-printed. I fail to understand why it is required if you already checked in. This can be left to intelligent staff and great airline.
    They did weighting of luggage baggage and cabin baggage combined and weight was 23.1 kg. Staff also said that only one cabin baggage is allowed but i have never seen any airline counted laptop bag into number of cabin baggage. Cabin baggage+laptop weight was 8.1 kg and they asked to pay rs. 500. Boy insisted that, it has some eatables and water bottle, which he will use in next 2 hours before getting into plane. If you discount this, weight is not such that it can be charged. Staffs told he do not want to talk any more and again asked to pay rs 500 citing it is going to be rush after some time and he may miss flight. He was charged rs 500. Then he finally asked to put both my the baggage into luggage.
    My point is that this is the case of deliberate case of harassment/money extortion case from a minor boy.
    Request you own assessment and assertive action against staff & i never could see such case. Staff might have earned 500 rupees for great airline but tarnished image of airline.

      Rude behavior by ground staff - "avnesh" at banglore airport on 19 jul 16, flight 6e 509, boarding time 5:20.Instead of requesting politely, mr. Avnesh pointed fingers at me, shouted at me and mis-behaved. However air hostess came later for apology. Kindly train your ground staff to be nice with customers and not to treat them as prisoners / slaves.

        I arrived at the boarding counter by 4.35. But still, then i was allowed to board the flight. The counter person took my boarding and cancelled without even asking me anything. I was forced to take the next flight which has costed me around 13000. (Indigo flight). I am extremely dissatisfied as i am a corporate customer. The booking was done by quest2travel

          This a complain regarding the services which i experienced in my recent flight no. 6e 582 on 15/07/2016.
          Reservation no. - w5rhxl
          At the airport while check in, staff as usual weighed my bag, and i was told my bag has extra luggage by 2 kg which i was willing to pay.
          Then suddenly that lady told me to weigh all my hand baggage & she looked at my purse too, i have a da milano purse which itself looks bulky without much of stuff & same can be checked at any stores.
          After i reprimanded her that you want to weigh my purse, she said no.
          Then she suddenly said my bag was excess by 11 kg & i have to pay rs 2300 which again i was ready to pay but i cannot see the extra weight as your weighing machine showing weight to customers was not working & i was not showed the same, only the staff could see.
          Then i asked for bifurcation & i was given flat answer you will get a receipt which was very insulting & embarrassment in front of other fellow passengers.
          Then the pos was not working, what if i was not carrying that much cash, finally i paid cash & i was given a receipt which neither the staff explain, nor can i understand the weird thing.
          Pointed to be noted none of the fellow passengers were told to weigh their hand baggage & i had an international flight to catch within 24 hours.
          My embarrassment & insult continued in your flight as well. I was allotted a seat on aisle.
          I had to stand when a fellow passenger wanted to go to washroom which i don"t mind but when he came back he had a glass of water & while going inside same got spilled on my seat.
          At same point of time the crew member has started inflight service, i asked her for tissue paper & she stared as if i have asked something wrong.
          I was given just two tissue papers.
          And then she told me to move & let her go, then i can do whatever i wish.
          I was astonished with such a response because first it was not my mistake of spilling water & second rather than helping me she insulted me, half the fellow passengers were looking at me.
          If this is what you call a customer service, then i am sorry to say the standard is way below.
          The harassment, insult & embarrassment which i felt in this journey is still there in my mind & i can never forget that & i want compensation for that.

            Hi All,

            This is very stupid and being very rude, inspite you know that refilling an aircraft and at the same time asking passengers to board the plane.

            There is an announcement saying that to turn off the phones because there is a refilling going, you all know how risk it is and u still doing the same.

            This is something which is ridiculously unbelievable.

            I want to challenge legally the same thing and would like to know whom I need to address in this case.

              Dear sir/madam
              I am one of your loyal customer which prefer to travel by indigo. During february this year i flew for dubai and back from your plane (Flight 6e22 dated 13 february 2016/seat 11 e. The return journey left worst memory to me. When i came to collect my bag, i was puzzled to see the condition of my bag which has been given to luggage. It was badly destroyed. I reported to your ground staff who were assisting luggage collection. One lady from indigo arrived i saw the condition of my bag. She took photograph of my bag. Consoled me and said indigo will compensate your loss soon. Unfortunately even after 5 months nothing has happened. Kindly escalate this issue and get me compansated at the earliest

                Cabin air pressure

                I have traveled via indigo airlines twice in last few months and have noticed both the flights had same problem of air pressure in the cabin had some issues and the pressure on ear drums were huge. And this was not only with me it was with other passengers too. Kids were crying on both flights and also adults were feeling the same. There was no issue with my other flights which were of spice jet. Details of flights which i had issues as below....

                Dear sir/ma'am,
                This mail is in regards to the indigo flight (6e-746), booking referance - w37h8b, that we missed on 09th june, 2016 from delhi to udaipur, because of negligence of indigo staff, even after getting the boarding passes and waiting since 3 hours at the gates. (Tickets & boarding passes attached for referance). The only reason was that the gates were closed too early from the scheduled time of departure. Though we were waiting near the gates but could not hear or maybe didnt understand their call for us to board, and when we asked the staff at 8.05 am i. E. 20 mins before scheduled time, they refused and returned our checked in baggage saying the gates are closed now. As per the rules, they cannot leave us after giving boarding passes. Moreover, just when the staff refused us, an air hostess of the same flight just passed us and boarded the flight, still they didnt allow us.
                Due to this we missed a very urgent business meeting with our client and thus we missed an order, that has incurred us a huge loss of rs. 50 crores. The indigo staff was so rude that they did not even provide us another flight to board, rather asked us to pay the fare difference. And since we had to reach there to the earliest, so we bought the very next flight of jet airways, but still got late for the meeting.
                Hence we want indigo airline to compensate our loss. Hope to receive a quick & positive response from you.

                  Hi, i just want to register a complaint on the behalf of my brother who is travelling on 15 july by 6e 643. His name is garu sharma and pnr is z5usul. At the time of his travel he reached at the indigo counter on time and at the time of issuing boarding pass csa misplace his pan card. So she told him to wait at the counter and after 30 to 40 mins she handed over his pan card & boarding pass to him. After the security check when he reached on boarding gate csa denied him to board the flight by saying that he is late. So beacuse of csa at check in counter misplaced his pan card because of her he reached late at boarding gate but airlines staff is not ready listen anything so he buy new ticket of flight 6e 105 and paid additional amount of inr 4886.00. Tickets & reciept attached for your refrence. So i request you to kindly look in to the matter and arranged refund for us.

                    Dear sir / madam,

                    I am sorry to bring to your kind notice that today i. E/ jul/ 19/16. I had to go from calicut to ahmedabad via mumbai and i was booked your flight no e6 124. Vide pnr no. M9p3xm.

                    I had reached the counters at 11. 05 am after getting my bag secutity checked and all to catch the flight for 11.40 am. But i was not givin the boarding pass. As i suppose your flight was over - booked.

                    Your ground staff was very rude; they harassed me and also misbehaved at the airport. Even after knowing that i have my baggage was security checked. They did not let me check - in.

                    This was a really terrible and horrifying experience for me and i caused a lot of stress and mental pressure on me. Even reaching at counter 35 mins before i was not allowed to board. I was with my wife n she also felt very much depressed with all such incident. I was on holiday n had to go through all these. I had to purchase new ticket of rs. 15000 of jet airways for tomorrow and also have to stay here in hotel spending more 5000. These all has cost me total rs 20000 n ruined my holiday.

                    You are requested to kindly refund my money i. E. Rs.20000 in lieu of the above mentioned ticket in order to restrain me from taking a legal stand against your airline.

                      Denial of check in and boarding due to overbooking

                      We had booked a flight from mumbai to goa in indigo airlines, 6e -711 which was scheduled to depart at 13.50 hours, saturday, 16 july. we were two families of 3 adults and 2 kids (aged 5 yrs).
                      All o[censored]s were waiting for check in the queue by 13.10pm, when we were informed that they have closed check in and they cannot send us in on the premises that we were late. one of the family was standing in the que since 12.30 pm and had informed...

                      Sub: cancelling our flight tickets without our consent.

                      This is in regards to cancelling our flight ticket without our consent from chennai to srinagar via new delhi on 3rd aug, 2016 and back from srinagar to chennai on the 8th aug, 2016.

                      I made 3 calls to your call centre on 17th july, 2016 (Sunday) between 17:30 hrs to 18:30 hrs and the calls were made from the below mentioned nos.

                      The 1st call was transferred from makemytrip to your call centre as i wanted to know the refund amount if we wanted to cancel the tickets. Since the call quality was very poor and was able to hardly hear the other person speak had to call again directly.

                      On the 2nd call i was told by one of your agents that the entire amount would be refunded when enquired on the cancellation charges. I requested the agent to send us a confirmation mail on what would be the refund amount. But in turn she cancelled it without our confirmation.

                      We received the cancellation mail and we ~rs.19, 000 was deducted.
                      We spent rs. 49, 172 on total for booking the to & fro tkts from chennai to srinagar & back.
                      But our refund amount was only rs.30, 324.

                      Because of the poor quality of the line again i had to disconnect and call you guys again.

                      On the 3rd call, i spoke to one of your agents by name mr. Vikas and he promised me that he would further investigate this issue by barging/listening to the recorded calls and if the agent is found guilty he would compensate us.
                      He promised that he will handle this issue by himself and will call me before by 18:00 hrs on 18th july, 2016 (Monday), but yet to receive any calls.

                      I am wiritng this compliant mail since i havent received any calls from any of your team.

                        On 2nd july i was travelling from mumbai to chennai flight 6e459 seat no 27c.. When i entered in flight i seated wrongly on seat no 6e after knowing i wrongly seated i went back to proper seat.. After reaching home i found that i wrongly carried luggage of another person... Morning i called that person an handover his luggage safely... That person took my luggage an handover it to indigo arrival department... Both the bag wer looking same... Next day (Sunday) i got the call from ur indigo arrival department that ur lugguage is here so kindly come an collect... I replied i will come in 3 to 4 days n collect it from airport... Today i went there no proper response from there side they were like no luggage is over here... We dint call yu n all rubbish... The person who handover the luggage in counter was seated in 7e or 5e, i request yu to pls cross check to both the person an let me know soon... Pls cross check in indigo department also...                           I checked in two luggage - a suitcase and a carry bag. The Black colored Raymonds carry Bag was missing in the luggage counter.

                          I immediately registered the complaint in the Indigo Services Counter but after one full day, still the bag is not found.
                          Please help me in forwarding the complain.

                            I tried booking an air ticket. The money got deducted but no booking done. This was done on 12/7/2016. Its been a week now no money refunded in the account. Below is the email i received same day.
                            Dear hitalkumar chheda,
                            Kindly note the indigo transaction id below for your reference.
                            Transaction id: b04cf4e4b45d[protected] for inr 6356.00.
                            In case amount gets deducted from your account however we haven’t received it, our endeavor will be to offer you a booking with the same affordable price within few mts, seeking alternate mode of payment. The amount already deducted will be credited in 3-4 working days. To track the status of reversal, quote above mentioned trasnaction id.

                            I lost my Fastrack watch and Pendrive when getting back my Luggage on Belt during departure. I already gave complaint in that movement itself in Bangalore Airport. Please let me know when can i get them back.

                              Dear sir/ madam,
                              I would like to request you if there is any way to teach a lesson to the "indigo airlines" personnel so to stop their corruption for forcing passengers to purchase another flight tickets due to their mis-organisation, as i was the victim of their corruption and harassment on dated 25/06/2016 when i was forced to take another flight from bangalore to kolkata on the same date.

                              I arrived 45 minutes prior to my first flight no.6e-713 from bangalore to kolkata on 25/06/2016 & the departure time was 5:10am. there was a huge line outside the entry gate of "departure" & there was no separate line for domestic and international passenger so i have no choice need to wait for my turn. when the security people on departure gate checked my details they allowed me to go inside the airport. afterwards i went for the "baggage and boarding pass" counter of indigo airlines, but another male personnel (not aware of his name) was standing and instructed me to get the baggage ticket from their kiosk. i went running to get my baggage ticket & found that there was again a queue for the same, after waited for my turn when i entered my details i found it was not working so instantly i went to that male personnel & told him the same. he later on asked me to stand in the manual queue of indigo counter.

                              I again stood in queue and another female personnel of indigo airlines was standing there as soon as i told that my flight no.6e-713, she instantly took my ticket and told me very rudely that i am not allow to put my baggage in counter as the counter is closed and as according to her i am 10mins late and also mentioned the same on my printed e-ticket. i then requested her kindly issue me the boarding pass atleast but it seems like i was talking to some deaf person, she was not ready to listen anything eventhough it was not my mistake, instead told me very rudely that i need to take another flight for kolkata which would be departing by 6:20 am.

                              I went running to get another ticket for the another flight no.6e-339 for kolkata & found that their the female personnel of indigo airlines seems to be least bother about the passenger standing in the queue to get the tickets, they were busy chit-chatting. when i asked one of the female personnel to get me the ticket then she came on her seat to issue me the ticket. i paid rs.6058 through my "kotak mahindra debit card.

                              When i went in that flight i found it was not totally filled with the passenger and then i realized that as they don't want the flight no.6e-339 should flown empty for that they forced me to purchase the another ticket for this flight. i was not the one passenger who was victim of their corruption as behind me there were 4 passengers who had been treated the same like me with those horrible personnel of indigo airlines.

                              I had paid overall rs.14, 678 including my second flight for kolkate of rs.6058 which was a big pressure for a passenger.

                              I want you to look into this matter and help me in getting my money back which they forced me to purchase for rs.6058/- & they should be polite to the passengers & should not made them run around here and there & also to stop their corruption of harassing the passenger and taking the benefit of the situation.

                              Looking forward for a proper judgement and to stop the corruption of indigo airlines.

                              We have also faced a similar situation recently
                              I got a call from one customer care executive some few minutes back, instead o[censored]nderstanding the pain and the torture I faced, he repeatedly trying to offend his team members and keep on repeating that I reported late. When I asked him to check in CCTV, he have very valid reason to tell that we are not authorised for the same.

                              When I told that I am the frequent flyer and I know the time limits & reported on time, it is their crew members who made me run here and there. When I asked him why he had not given the boarding pass even though it was not my mistake, he was not ready to accept it.

                              We should take proper step against the bureaucracy of these private airlines where they just know how to play around with the customers situation n force them to purchase another ticket.

                              My concern is when I had not been allowed in the flight no. 6E-713 then why should not returning my money for the flight which I had not taken.

                              If they continue doing that one day come there will be no stoppage for their bureaucracy, if they are not returning my money for the prior flight, I told them that I will drag them to the court for sure.
                              Ya agree...I have posted my strong concern on this forum. Mine was last Saturday only. I also expect a compensation for the inconvenience caused to us and unexpected cost that we had to incur to book fresh tickets.

                              They need to understand that services they offer will have a far reaching affect on their sustainability. They have already lost many consumer loyalty on this issue of denial of check in and boarding due to their overbooking of flight issue.
                              Most importantly when the fellow from customer care indigo airlines called me up, without even checking my full details, he called me "Mr.Banerjee". So you can understand if they change my gender, what else they can do. It is a complete mis-management so obvious they will make us run here and there just to earn more money to run their show. So they will force passengers to purchase another ticket as they know the importance of flying, they just know how to play with the feelings.

                              The crew members are totally unprofessional, very rude and pathetic airlines. I will never recommend anybody as what I suffered I don't want any body is paying from their nose.

                                Respected sir/madam,

                                I am praneeth buruju, a customer of indigo airlines. Recently on june 11th 2016, i travelled by indigo flight 6e778 (Hyderabad - new delhi). And this is regarding the complaint i want to lodge on the unsatisfactory service by indigo airlines.

                                As a responsible citizen of india and hailing from an average middle class family, i want to raise my experience.

                                Initially, i had booked a flight 6e-845 (Hyderabad - new delhi) june 11th 2016 sat 11:55 hrs (Find the ticket attached). And as per the guidelines i was well before the check-in time in the airport. I entered the airport premises with 4-5 minutes remaining to the check-in time mentioned (11:10 hrs). And was waiting in the queue with a gentle gesture of allowing my fellow passengers to complete their check-in process. Next, it was my turn and shockingly i was informed that check-in counter has been closed and i will not be able to travel in the same flight. I talked to the concern managers at the counter and explained the urgency of my travel. Yet, they didn't allow me. Also, it was informed that i am late by 1 minute i. E 11:11 hrs (Definitely within fraction of seconds).

                                Considering the urgency and importance of reaching delhi on the same day. I had to reschedule my flight and booked next flight 6e778 (Hyd - delhi) june 11th 2016 sat 14:40 hrs. Hailing from an average middle class family, i had to bear the financial burden of extra rs.4678.00. But still with due respect to the discipline followed by indigo, i accepted and waited for the immediate next flight.

                                This time, i checked-in well before time and moved to the boarding gate. According to the rules and discipline followed again by indigo, boarding gate closes 25 minutes prior to the departure time. And it must close and no passenger should be allowed to board the flight even if he/she is late by fraction of seconds.

                                Unfortunately, this was not the case with the flight. All the passengers had to wait outside the boarding gate even past 25 minutes prior to the departure time. The reason given by the concerned authorities was. "there's a delay in cleaning the flight and boarding will start immediately after the cleaning process". And finally we were boarded and noticed that cleaning process was still on-going and lead to extreme suffocation (Breathing problem) for few minutes. But to be honest thanks for the quick action, flight departed.

                                Concerns

                                Usually check-in closes 45 minutes and boarding closes 25 minutes prior to the departure time. And this must be followed by every passenger. Failing to do so, passenger would not be allowed to board the flight.

                                1. Yes, rules are extremely important and we must abide them. But it was extremely disappointing the way the concerned officials reacted in my case. This happened to me earlier with spicejet. And thanks to their diligence and customer engagement, i was allowed to board the flight.

                                Also i got inside well before check-in time. I was waiting in the queue with due respect to fellow passengers. And this disciplined and respectable gesture of me was fined heavily by indigo both in terms of my valuable time and financial burden.

                                2. When i had to pay for my respectable gesture and finally arriving late at the counter by 1 minute, why shouldn't indigo be fined for the late boarding of the second flight with inappropriate cleaning on-going and causing suffocation even after taking extra 5-10 minutes after official boarding time. Rules are rules.In this case, indigo didn't follow the rules and on behalf of all the passengers on the flight 6e778, i want to appeal legally against indigo and their undisciplined services.

                                3. Flight reached delhi with a delay of 6 minutes. 6 minutes was extremely valuable in my case and i need official statement stating the reason behind the delay.

                                I clicked many photos while late boarding, the cleaning process, suffocation inside the flight and will be submitted to the concerned authority in the legal process. Also one may cross check with rajiv gandhi international airport shamshabad authorities and cc-tv footage for the authentication of the information provided by me.

                                  My daughter anusha singh was supposed to board flight number 6e - 342, booking reference - vctlfd, numeric booking id[protected] from mumbai to lucknow. The departure time was 14:20 p. M.. She got the boarding pass by 13 p. M. Since then she was waiting at the gate of supposed departure, i. E gate number 16, since the airport was following silent zone there were no announcements made. She made numerous enquiries with the auritative personnel on the gate to which she was replied to be seated and assured that someone would come for the announcement call when the process of boarding starts. There was no summon for the boarding as such. After waiting till 2:10 p. M. She got panic stuck and went to the security person and she "said that the flight has departed and she's missed the plane!" this is unacceptable from your side, once a passenger has booked a ticket with your airline, taken the boarding pass, you must take it as your responsibility that the passenger reaches the destination. Due to a certain miscommunication she was unable to attend a very important function this evening in lucknow. There were many other passengers who were left back and couldn't board the flight as well. I wish that the money be reimbursed for the flight ticket she couldn't board.

                                    I have booked a ticket on 5th july, 2016 for my brother-in-law for a travel from nagpur to mumbai on 6th july, 2016 for attending a medical emergency of his father. When i was booking the ticket on goindigo site, i have updated all the details related to the passenger and when the system took me to payment window, i got an error message, though i do not have details of the message and neither i have taken any screen shot of the error message. But i am sure the message was something like "the airline has revised the pricing for this flight and the system is resetting the pricing" and again it took me to update the passenger details. So it was obvious that the ticket was not booked in the first attempt. I had updated the passenger details once again and received the billdesk payment transaction message saying "kindly note the indigo transaction id below for your reference. Transaction id: 39922e7d6c[protected] for inr 4229.00.

                                    But in my first attempt for booking the ticket i did not get any bill desk transaction message and neither i had received any email from email id '[protected]@goindigo.In'. But rs.3593/- were deducted from my icici bank account. If the argument of the airline is true that the ticket was booked in the first instance, i should have received both the emails, one from your resevations mail id with the booked ticket and another from bill desk stating transaction details for rs.3593/-. I am enclosing the screen shots of the email and booked ticket transactions for your reference. Therefore, i request indigo airlines to refund my amount of rs.3593/- without any deductions as the fault was with their system. I am sure in the interest of consumer interest the airline will refund my amount at the earliest.
