[Resolved]  Ixigo — incorrect refund initiated - ixigo + cheap ticket scam!

I cancelled a flight ticket from bengaluru to new delhi on 7th may. The confirmation mail from ixigo as well as the cancellation menu showed a deduction of around inr 3600/-

The email from the ixigo stated confirmed that i will receive a refund of inr 6379/- however, today i got an sms with a refund of rs 515.00/- instead of 6379.

This is just a scam being done by ixigo and cheap ticket. Even the indigo airlines (Flight operator) website states that the tickets are refunded upto 1.5 hrs prior and i cancelled it way before that deadline as well (2.45 hrs).

Do they really think that customers are sitting like fools out here who don’t know what these guys are trying to do to just make money? Where is your customer empathy or success team?

Hi Team,

Please check my concern. It has been more than 5 Days not 24Hrs as you mentioned and nothing has happened!

Also, The refund was already processed for only 515 Rs instead of 6379 for which I raised the concern. Please read the query before you respond!

Hi,

Thanks ixigo team for the resolution. I didn't receive a single call from Cheap Ticket but Ixigo was constantly in touch with me to get the refund processed.
