I had confirmed booking in JET AIRWAYS flight 9W - 481 for travel from Mumbai to Chennai ON[protected].05 dep frm mumbai.My tkt no[protected] and status as confirmed. I checked in at the airport 1.5 hrs before schedule time. To my horror when i reached to get my boarding pass, i was informed that the seats are full and i will not be allowed to board and airways have teh right to do so. after sometime a Jet airways staff the counter issues a boarding pass as SB(assuming stands for standby) and hurriedly takes me through the security check. after doing some tamasha, i am told that the flight is full and that my seat is occupied by some other passenger. They had no clue why this has hap pended. In my opinion it is nothing but someone would have paid higher than what i paid and the seat has been allocated to him/her.

3-4 hrs of mental torture and harassment after paying so much and no fault of mine. We need to know why this is done to a passenger having a confirmed ticket and having reporting well in advance needless to say i am a jet previlage holder. what ! previlage this?

    i frequently fly to mangalore on 25 /11/2011 i was back on flight no432 class v flight departed manglor at 14:55 as as food was served the milk served on board by the brand name Milky was rot smelling upon telling the air hostess was a simple reply so sorry there was no there was no replacement or any thing as such.
    I have the photograph of the product on board clicked.
    is the right as jet is in the service industry.
    Pls take this matter serious.

      Dear Sir,

      I am Jet Privilage member of Jet Airlines (no[protected]. Instead of getting any privilege treatment from the Airlines for my regular travels and commitment, this day I am getting lot of trouble and harassment due to irresponsible behavior of Jet Staff as under:

      • On 10 Dec 2011 I travelled from Mumbai to Lucknow via Jet Airways flights. First I travelled through flight 9W7109 from Mumbai to Indore and then vide flight no 9W 2513 from Indore to Lucknow.
      • I had one VIP Travel Bag strolly type of Red color with me, which I checked in at Mumbai Airport. I was told that the bag shall be shifted from first flight to other in Indore by Jet people only and I need not take back the same and re-check in. I relied on the assurance of booking staff and checked in the bag.
      • The bag was having – (a) Around 6 Shirts (b) Two trousers and two jeans (c) One sports shoes (d) One set of leather chappals (e) Toiletries in a very costly bag (f) Two brand new jackets purchased just two days back from Mumbai (g) One parker pen set and (h) few undergarments and socks. It was also having my Blackberry mobile charger, my apple I pod and few books and CDs.
      • At Indore Airport I found the ground systems very lousy and careless. All the ground Jet airways staffs were looking very un-trained and lazy. I repeatedly asked the booking ladies again and again, if I need to check that my baggage was transferred to appropriate sector craft or not. But the staff at Indore appeared very confident and told that there is no chance of any mistake and I sould not worry.
      • When I de-planed at Lucknow, after a waiting time of half an hour when my luggage was not available, it was told to me that the baggage appears to be lost and I need to lodge complaint for the same, which I did immediately.
      • My compliant number is LKO 9W 10858. My carry bag tag number was S2975752 which was detached and taken away from my boarding pass.
      • Since then I have called your call center number four times.[protected] but found no satisfactory replies. They appear to be quite sure that my bag is finally lost.
      • I am still confident that the bag is misplaced somewhere by your un-trained ground staffs of Indore.

      Request you to mark the matter to some responsible person who can look into the matter and sort out at the earliest. People are advising me to go for legal recourse and consumer complaint mode but I value my old association with you and being more interested in getting my bag, I am putting up the matter for speedy and meaningful action.

      However if I don’t get proper response I shall not mind going for legal recourse.

      Jet airlines — stolen goods

      I arrived in johannesburg on the 14th of march 2012 from india only to find
      that three of my bags were damaged and the locks on the bag were missing. The zips were broken and when i looked inside i found that there
      were items missing from the bags. I approached the airline rep and he said that there was nothing he could do. What type of service is that?

        I had booked a Jet Airways ticket from Mumbai to Kolkata. The PNR number is IZIRBY and the e ticket number is[protected]. This flight was cancelled by the airlines on 4th November 2011 and I had asked for refund on the same date. I was told that the amount would be refunded within 7 working days. However till date (7th December, 2011), I have not received the refund. I might have called jet airways call center 10 times and every time the person seek 2-3 more working days. I was also issued a receipt number[protected]. I am fed up calling jet airways and explaining the case to a new person every time.

        Please help me to get the refund.

          I flew from Amritsar to Mumbai via Delhi. I had a single 20" bag which the Agent in Amritsar foreced me to check-in. She said it was too big. I asked her to measure it, but she was bent upon checking the bag. Anyway, after a while I gave up and checked the bag. She tagged it for Priority handling.

          In Mumbai, the bag with badly broken handle and priority handling tags removed. I complained about it at the airport baggage services. They took down the complaint, verified the handle was freshly broken, etc. They promised the bag would be picked up the next day for a one day repair and if I was unsatisfied for any reason, they will replace it.

          I informed them of my travel schedule and that I only had 3 days in Mumbai before I would need to travel again. This was not a problem for them excpet nobody showed up to pick the bag for repairs. The person who was responsible for handling this and had given me his cell number, did not answer my repeated tries to reach him. I finally reached the baggage claim, and they were not much help - or at least as yet. I tried customer service but no help there either.

          The whole experience is terrible and Jet Airways has proven to be a horrible airline. BEWARE FLYING ON JET AIRWAYS! They have also demonstrated that their people are irresponsible. One of them actually told me he has no power to make any decisions but still wanted to hear the whole story! What a waste.

            I am flying from Chennai to Mumbai by Jetairways flight number 9W 0464 at 27 Nov 11. this flight is schduled at 09:15 AM i was there in on time and taken the boarding pass that time they told it will be start at gate number 5 at chennai Airport but i was waiting opposite to gate for depature but they did not given any announcement and display regarding gate change when i ask them by 09:15 they are informed me that the flight has depatured after they took me to their suprovisior they are not ready to hear anything from my side they simply told to take another for the next flight by paying extra Rs.1704/-.due to their irresponsible i am not able to reach there on time i was in huge mental prassure

              Jet Airways — not received refund of cancelled tickets

              Dear Sir,

              Re: Refund for cancelled sector on 14th Oct 2011 Delhi /Jaipur flight number 9W2623

              We cancelled our tickets at airport counter and we were informed that the refund will be sent to my credit card A/c.
              But still I did not receive any refund from Jet airways . As the below tickets were purchased online through credit card. Please note our e ticket numbers with passenger names were as follows

                I had checked in at Chennai airport on 30th Oct 2011 to board my Delhi flight of Jet Airways. I was issued a boarding pass with boarding gate mentioned as Gate No.5 which is on the ground floor. I completed my security check and waited near the gate 5. Not having seen any signs of boarding, I went and asked one Mr.Brish Nepu Narayan, if the flight is delayed. He very impolitely said that the flight has completed boarding and departed. The time was 19:40 and the scheduled departure of the flight was 19:55. He was busy arguing with me to put the full blame on me that I did not listen to the announcement. The conversation got heated up and I asked for his senior. he replied very arrogantly that" I am the senior, there is no one above me". I was surprised to listen to the comments he made during the conversation. " Even if you sleep the whole night at the airport, nothing can help you", His threatening statements, " Your flight has departed. You have no business here.I will call the security to check you out". These words are from a jet customer care fellow!!!!!!!! Finally a duty manager, Ms.Sreelakshmi, listened to me and she figured out that there was an AI at 21:30 from International airport. That flight was delayed and took off at 1:00 am and I finally reached delhi at 5:00 am. I had a meeting to attend at 9:00 am
                I finally came to know from their own staff that, while the conversation going on, the flight did not had departed and a little concern for human being, would have been enough in Mr.Brish Nepu Narayan to help me board the flight. Jet airways as an organisation as far as I understand are not bothered about neither the customers or employees. There are many Brishs that they have hired and still enjoying honeymoon in that organisation that do not care for customers. I am a frequent traveller across India as I work as a National Sales Manager with an organisation. I have taken a firm decision not to travel any time in future by jet airways and influence as many number of my friends and colleagues about this experience.Ultimately there is no value for the extra premium that you or your company pay for buying jet tickets. Bottom line is there is no service oriented airlines as of now in India, keep price and convenience of time as the only criteria for choosing between airlines/tickets. JET IS JUST NOT WORTH THE MONEY THAT YOU PAY AND JET STAFF ARE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARROGANT OF ALL.

                  i have booked flight ticket on 13 oct 11 from silchar to kolkata for 25 nov 11 through net-banking transaction,then after e-ticket was not received to me but the specified amount was credited to jet airways.on this matter i contacted to jet airways complain cell and replied that ur transaction
                  has jumped and debited amount will be credited to ur account.
                  Regarding this matter i also mailed several times to jet airways online complain cell but proper attention has not been given.

                    According to the Jet Airways security requirements, to offer my daughter a flight to visit me, I have to surrender my identity to her.
                    Also to abide to Jet Airways policy, I am forced to breach the standard security policy of most credit card issuing companies by providing a photocopy of my credit card.

                    This might be secure for Jet Airways (I seriously doubt it add any security at all) but it is definitely a loss of security for me as my identity is potentially compromised. In this case I trust my daughter but this is
                    1. inciting me to breach the policy of the card issuing company (that Jet Airways knows or can easily know)
                    2. endangering my daughter's safety as the paper she must carry are valuable to identity thief

                    I think it is time Jet Airways updates its policy to the 21st century and adopt the same policies as most other carriers (at least the ones in Europe and Noth America). Possibly they will need to outsource their ecommerce to ... a North American company:(.

                    For reference, here is a copy of the text shown on Jet Airways web site:
                    Security Requirements
                    The Card used to purchase this ticket will have to be produced at the time of Check-in.
                    If the holder of the card is not the passenger, then the passenger should possess:
                    a) A Photocopy of both sides of the card, which will have to be self attested by the card holder authorising the use of the
                    card for the purchase of the ticket. For security reasons, please strike out the Card Verification Value (CVV) code on the
                    copy of your card.
                    b) This Photocopy should also contain the name of the passenger, the date of journey and the sector on which the
                    journey is made.
                    The above document MUST be produced at the time of check-in. If the passenger fails to comply with these conditions, Jet
                    Airways reserves the right to deny the passenger(s) from boarding.



                    BTW very interesting that the "passenger should possess" but "above document MUST be produced". Isn't this contradictory?

                      Anyone who is thinking o[censored]sing Jet Airways - Don't !!!

                      For the last four months I have been having a constant headache trying to deal with them. Every email I write asking questions or for a response takes forever to get replied to with the same answer "just bear with us" !!!

                      I have never in my life had to deal with such bad customer service.

                      I recently went to the JAIPUR office to change some of my flights. I got there and they took a while to try and do what I had requested and then they told me to come back the next day because they wanted to close up. I went back and they told me in order to change the order of my flights I would have to cancel one leg of my trip. I however was guaranteed and absolute FULL refund of the ticket. I only cancelled that leg of the trip because of the guarantee of a Full ticket refund.

                      Now a month later they are refusing to pay me out. They have emailed my agent in Johannesburg full of lies and wrong accusations - saying I was complaining all the time when I actually sat quietly playing on my blackberry for 2hrs! They also claimed that I didn't know what I wanted so thats why I had to come back the next day... again a lie. They also claimed to tell me that I agreed I didn't want a refund! Just so dishonest and almost embarrassing that they can do this.

                      And again.... the emails I have sent and endless feedback forms seem to continue without resolve.

                      Will NEVER book a ticket through them again. Waste of time, money and effort.

                        I was browsing through the website to understand where I can possibly address a complaint to Jet Airways. Whilst I was surprised to see there was nothing on their website I wasn't surprised to see so many complaints against Jet.
                        I was to board a Hyderabad - Vishakapattnam flight 9W2771 on Sunday - 9th October 2011. Am aware of the reporting time and thus started from my place at 5.30am for a 7.10am flight. Roughly, in the mornings, it would take about 30 - 35 mins to reach the airport from my place (Begumpet. old airport). Quarterway along the long bridge connecting to the airport, my scorpio (AP 03 AC 456) broke down and for people who stay in Hyderabad know that on the bridge, you do not find normal traffic where you would hire another vehicle.
                        I called up city cabs at 5.48am to see if they can send a cab to pick me up from the middle of the road/bridge and as promised I had a cab at circa 6.05am. I requested the driver to be fast as I knew was late - I had to reach the airport as could not afford to miss this flight. My 36 weeks pregnant wife who was due to go in labor anytime was waiting for me at Vizag. "Just dial" helped me with the Jetairways number and my call was to see if I could telecheckin. Got connected to a Jet representative who did a telecheckin for me at 6.33am by this time I was done with the long bridge. I was allocated seat ' 8D '. Finally, I made it to the counter at 6.38am, I rushed to the representative but she would not allow me to check in stating that I am delayed and I should have been here at least 45 mins before departure. I explained the entire situation to the staff and requested to speak to a supervisor. The check in supervisor/manager was also rude and was not ready to understand the delay of my arrival at the airport. I requested it was important for me to reach Vizag owing to my wife's health - BUT no joy! When I spoke to her about the telecheckin, was told that per policy, the telecheckin was done only 45 mins before. How on earth did someone give me a seat number ' 8 D' as the call was made 30 mins before my scheduled departure.
                        I was asked to speak to ticketing to cancel my ticket and look for another flight. I chose the second earliest at 9.35am by Spicejet - SG1073. Imagine this? This flight initially was delayed for an hour and later for another hour to only start at 11.45am. The message about the delay of the flight was only sent at 9.03am. By this time, I would presume most passengers would have already been at the airport or in some form or other would have left their homes. So, what is the point of intimating the passengers that late in the hour and if the passengers are requested to understand the "unforeseen" circumstances, why does the airline not understand the same for the passengers.

                        you must take legal action against them. these kind of complaints can be lodged with local consumer court.
                        the address of consumer court in vizag is: 3rd Floor District Court Complex, Opp Cmr, Prakasaraopeta, Visakhapatnam - 530020.
                        also, the best thing about a consumer court is you don't need to hire any lawyer to represent your case. you can fight your case yourself.

                          i BOOKED TICKET FROM HYDERABAD TO LUCKNOW VIA MUMBAI FOR 12TH OCTOBER FOR ME AND MY WIFE.TICKET NO.[protected]. I CHECKED IN AT HYDERABAD AND GOT THE BOARDING PASS FOR LUCKNOW ALSO. THE FLIGHT WAS SHOWN TO RUN AT NORMAL TIME. ON ARRIVING AT MUMBAI THE DISPLAY WAS ALSO FOR THE NORMAL TIME I.E. 10.30. HOWEVER AROUND 10:15 THE DISPLAY WAS MADE ON THE NOTICE BOARD FOR 12:50 PM.

                          I CHECKED ON THE COUNTER I WAS TOLD THAT FLIGHT WAS RESCHEDULED YESREDAY. I DID NOT RECIEVE ANY SMS OR MAIL FOR THE RESCHEDULING. THE BIARDING PASS ALSO HAS THE NORMAL TIME.

                          THIS MESSED UP MY ENTIRE PROGRAMME. EVEN ON ASKING AT THE COUNTER THEY REFUSED TO EVEN PROVIDE BASIC COURTSEY OF GIVING SNACKS / MEALS COUPAN.

                          I would never ever ever fly Jet airways ever again even if you paid me, as a business traveller who racks up large Km's each year, they were hands down the worst airline i have travelled in over 30 years.

                          Bumped me off a flight from mumbai for being overbooked despite me being there 2 hours early at the check -in desk, (for a domestic indian flight) took me to the security gate at one stage with a boarding pass and told me i might be able to fly in the cockpit (i thought it was a joke but they weren't joking) and after that "surprisingly" fell through they gave me no choice but to fly to another city later that night and then get a car ride for over 5 hours to get to my original destination arriving at 3am instead of 7pm.

                          To top it off, they made me pay for the car ride!!! This all after refusing to pay for a hotel for me in Mumbai to board a flight the next day.

                          Do yourself a favour and never ever fly them. Their customer service response to my complaint later was even worse. Zero care factor and pathetic.

                            This mail is not only a complaint but also a complete disgrace for the customers who travels in Jet Airways. My Name is Sabarish Harisudhan. I

                            am not a frequent traveler in Jet Airways. Myself and My friend have to return back to chennai from Nagpur on 23rd Sept 2011. We booked a ticket

                            from Nagpur to Bangalore through Mumbai, as we had to meet a person in Bangalore regarding our business. We booked our ticket on 22nd sep

                            2011 night and the flight was supposed to leave from Nagpur on 23rd at 8.30am and reach to Bangalore by 12.30pm. we also booked a train ticket

                            from Bangalore to chennai at 2.30pm so that there is enough time to board the train after landing in bangalore.

                            All of a sudden on 23rd morning at 6.30am we recieve a message from the airways stating that the flight has been rescheduled to 10.30am from

                            8.30am due to some operational reasons, which spoiled our whole schedule. We even went to the airport before 8.30 am and asked to one one of

                            the Jet Airways agent Meenakshi who delivered the boarding pass to us, she said that the flight might reach at around 1 or 1.15pm so that we

                            might at least catch the train. We didn't want to bother the airways officials over there and wanted to give it a try by cancelling our meeting in

                            Bangalore so that we would at least catch the train. But, we reached Bangalore only by 1.50pm. I was totally depressed. We reached to one of the

                            Customer support official in Bangalore Airport regarding a solution for this. The first answer which we received was "SORRY SIR, NOTHING CAN

                            BE DONE" which raised my anger. Then , i spoke to the next level in charge person and he said the same answer stating that only the delayed

                            flights might be taken care( note the word"might be") but the rescheduled flights will not be taken care by them as it was informed.

                            I asked them" WHY IT WAS INFORMED JUST 2 HOURS BEFORE THE BOARDING TIME AND EVERYONE KNOWS HOW HECTIC IS TO BOOK A

                            TRAIN TICKET AND AS THEY HAVE INFORMED JUST 2 HOURS BEFORE, HOW COULD WE RESCHEDULE EVERYTHING AND FIND SOME

                            OTHER TRANSPORT". We even tried that but the next train was at midnight from bangalore to chennai. They even didn't give the refund for the

                            train ticket or even didn't come forward to book some other transport to reach to chennai. Finally i spoke to a Higher Level Official Ravi Kumar in

                            the premises and he spoke with some senior person over phone and gave a straight answer "NOTHING CAN BE DONE, IF YOU HAVE ANY

                            FURTHER QUERIES SEND A MAIL TO [protected]@jetairways.com , YOU WILL GET A REPLY IN 24hrs". So i asked him" we have to send a

                            mail and wait for 24hrs and then we have to leave to chennai and he Boldly said YES. JET AIRWAYS DID NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR

                            US.

                            Due to this we had to stay in Bangalore on that day wasting our money for a Hotel and leave very next day by getting another train.

                            ALL THEY CAN SAY IS JUST SAY "SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE"? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? WE ARE LOSING TIME, MONEY AND

                            ENERGY FOR NO FAULT OF OURS. AND THEY ARE NOT EVEN WILLING TO CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS NEEDS? HOW WILL I EVER

                            THINK OF BOARDING JET AIRWAYS AGAIN OR NOR MY FRIENDS AND RELATIONS.
                            It is a SHAME that Jet Airways decides to act so casually and carelessly and reschedule flights without any valid rhyme or reason, leaving

                            customers in the lurch. This proves that their business is NOT built on ethics and responsibility - simply to better their bottom line at any cost.
                            I NEED A PROPER SOLUTION FOR THE STRESS, MONEY AND TIME MANAGEMENT I HAVE GONE THROUGH OR I HAVE TO FIND A

                            LEAGEL WAY.

                            I would never ever ever fly Jet airways ever again even if you paid me, as a business traveller who racks up large Km's each year, they were hands down the worst airline i have travelled in over 30 years.

                            Bumped me off a flight from mumbai for being overbooked despite me being there 2 hours early at the check -in desk, (for a domestic indian flight) took me to the security gate at one stage with a boarding pass and told me i might be able to fly in the cockpit (i thought it was a joke but they weren't joking) and after that "surprisingly" fell through they gave me no choice but to fly to another city later that night and then get a car ride for over 5 hours to get to my original destination arriving at 3am instead of 7pm.

                            To top it off, they made me pay for the car ride!!! This all after refusing to pay for a hotel for me in Mumbai to board a flight the next day.

                            Do yourself a favour and never ever fly them. Their customer service response to my complaint later was even worse. Zero care factor and pathetic.

                              This is to bring to your notice that tickets(PNR CUHBSI) for Hyderabad-Vijayawada ( flight number 9W 2739) was cancelled by me at jet airways counter at Mumbai domestic airport on 26th august 2011. As told by jet airways representative at the counter, the amount was to be refunded in 4 working days. But it has not been yet refunded. I would request you to please look into this matter as early as possible.

                                Myself,my wife and two kids (PNR Nos 9W/JHYSSN,9W/JJRJAA,9W/HHAIQW) travelled to Canada and USA from 08th August 2011 to 27th August 2011.
                                We were lucky enough as the flights moved smoothly on our onward journey.
                                On our return journey we departed Kennedy airport in New York,USA on 25th August at 18.30 hours by Jet airways flight 9W 225 to Chennai and had a break at Brussels airport for 3 hours. The onward journey stared from Brussels around 10.30 hours on 26th August 2011 and was scheduled to arrive at Chennai airport by 23.50 hours on the same day. Unfortunately there was some delay in landing to Chennai Int’l airport and Captain Malhothra announced that there was not enough fuel in the aircraft to last the delay on air and hence decided to land the aircraft to Bangalore airport by about 1.10 hours on 27th August 2011.
                                We had our connecting flight to Colombo from Chennai airport scheduled at 1.30 hours on 27th August 2011 and due to the above circumstances we missed the connecting flight.
                                While at Bangalore airport we had to stay in the aircraft for another 4 hours until the Jet airways management decided to get down a new crew from the flight that was scheduled to land in Bangalore from Mumbai around 4.30 hours and re-fuelling.
                                The communication with the passengers were very limited by the Jet airways flight staff despite various attempts to contact the top level staff and I must confess and all the passengers felt uneasy and unhappy.
                                The aircraft ultimately reached Chennai by 7.00 hours on 27th August 2011 and we were made to suffer in the lounge for another 12 hours or more until the next aircraft to Sri Lanka was due at 18.30 hours (9W 0252)on same day. That flight too was delayed and by the time we reached Colombo it was around 21.15 hours. We were told that due to rules of immigration in India they are unable to provide any hotel accommodation outside the airport (There is no such facility at the airport itself.)
                                The managers on duty gave us false promises and again did not give us enough information as to what would be their plans for arranging us another flight.It is worth mentioning that the ground staff who welcomed us on arrival to Chennai was unaware of the delay in flight.
                                As you may understand that this was a great physical and mental harassment to both o[censored]s and the kids as by this time we have been travelling for more than 36 hours and had to sit on a couch for the next 10 hours or more.
                                We were scheduled to be at work by afternoon on the 27th August 2011 and we missed a valuable day’s work.

                                Overall both o[censored]s were very unhappy about the care and service given by your staff when the passengers were in a difficult situation and hope your management would make sure that these situations would be handled smoothly in future.

                                  I am a regular traveller to Saudi Arabia and generally travel by Jet Airways...So far the experience travelling with Jet Airways had been great,however the last travel experience on way back from Jeddah to Mumbai on 21/8/2011 on board flight nos 9W521 (Seat nos 25E and F) was a real bad one....

                                  The Baggage was accepted at Jeddah airport including the Zam Zam can (1 nos per passenger),however on our arrival at Mumbai airport we were surprised to understand that the entire lot of Zam Zam for all passengers returning from Jeddha(Omrah tour) has not been loaded with no intimation.Moreover the staff at the airport were not aware initially.Later were made to understand that the Zam Zam cans have not been loaded.

                                  For all Omrah pilgrims the Zam Zam water has a great significance and we do put across huge effort in getting this Zam Zam Can alongwith us..

                                  Need clarification on couple of aspects......

                                  # Why is Zam Zam considered under Limited Liablility and not a priority delivery item inspite of being of such high importance and sacred for passengers travelling for Omrah.

                                  # Why is the Limited Liability not being mentioned in writing on the E ticket ,so that the passenger can choose airlines which prioritize Zam Zam for delivery(Saudi Airlines etc)

                                  # In case of non loading of baggage the baggage should be delivered at passenger's residence..Would like to share my experiece with Singapore airlines where the baggage on account of non loading was subsequently delivered at residence.(this is what is called as Best Service)

                                  # The customer care executives are ill trained and do not know the status or are unable to guide the passengers...Isnt it the responsibility of the airlines to intimate passengers on arrival of the baggage in subsequent flights.

                                  # How long we need to wait for the delivery of our baggage?

                                  # Why should not the passenger be compensated for the non delivery of baggage in same flight and the harrasment and extra cost incurred by passenger for revisiting airport for collecting baggage in event where the airlines is unable to deliver at residence(which should be the idle case)



                                  # Why is Jet Airways asking passengers to accept Zam Zam can of other passengers? is this ethical on part of the airlines?



                                  # I did find Jet airways staff accepting extra baggage and making quick some on the extra baggage and when it came to Zam Zam we were explained that the flight was overloaded.

                                  Who ever you are, but you are saying the truth. zamzam water is not allowed but the can carry liker etc.. with the as they get benefit from it.

                                  They should officially announce that the zamzam water is not allowed and you have to pay for it.

                                  What a shame on the airline the country which respect religious felling charges for zamzam water but not for the liker.

                                    My name is Smit Chechani. I took a ticket of Jet Airways flight number 9W 7088 for date 21st August, 2011 from Mumbai to Srinagar. But when reached at the airport we are shifted to a JetLite flight. Nothing is provided in the flight as breakfast. The services in the flight were also very poor.
                                    Highly disappointed as there was no prior notice regarding this was issued.

                                      My name is Shanawaz Baig Mirza, i am jet privilage member.

                                      On 8/8/2011 morning, my uncle returned from Saudi arabia to Bangalore via Bombay.
                                      In Bombay he found that one of his bag was missing, hence reported at the Jet airways counter.
                                      Some lady from jetairways (signed as 'Joelle') took all the information and asked my uncle if there are any valuables inside the bag, my uncle replied 'yes' and gave her the details of the gold items that were inside the bag. She noted down this information, but no acknowledgment was given to my uncle about the items in the baggage. He just got a missing baggage report slip which i have attached in this email. She has signed on it as 'Joelle' (please refer the attachment).

                                      After my uncle arrived in Bangalore, the bag got delivered to home address on 9-Aug-2011 and when he opened it, the gold items were missing. He is really dissappointed as i had suggested him to travel through Jetairways, though he did not wanted to go through Jetairways.

                                      Now I should think twice before recommending Jetairways to any of my friends or relatives.
                                      I want an enquiry to be done in this case and do the needful immediately.

                                      I have attached the slip given for missing baggage.

                                        I along with my 2 colleagues were to travelon a confirmed ticket from Chandigarh to bhubneswar , on JET between chd- del and Ai between del -BBI. on 25th july. the travel insurance offered by TATA-AIG was also purchased. due to technical snag jet flight was delayed resulting in our missing connecting flight to hubanesawar.After almost 3 hours of effort we managed to get only a delay certificate from JET. and `no travel and we took kingfisher flight on our own paying extra Rs15000 .Ifollowed it up with tata, jet, AI. Tata aig policy means no refund for delays upto 6 hrs and in our case it was only about 2 hrs.AI stated to get refund thru agent cleartrip .Thereafter I followed it up with booking agent CLeartrip, Tata, JEt AI all but so far have not got any possitive response. JET offered thru Ms Aarti on guestrelations site to upgrade to premier in future travel , cleartrip executive on toll free after almost half an hour told AI agrees to refund but cancellation will be basic fare of rs 4500 and cleartrip charges of Rs 300 on each ticket, thus leaving us with minus balance. JET has infact expressed finally their inability to honour any thing. Our Ceartrip id was [protected].
