Hi!! I am having Two credit cards from Kotak however since past 6 months due to bad financials I am unable to pay even the minimum dues for my cards. When I seek their help for converting amount into easy Emi's they give me options which comes around 10 K per month which is again impossible for me to pay. I am a nri and one year back when i was in india enquired about opening an account. The representative hurriedly opened the account and gave me no details on how to operate it or any other detail what so ever. Since then i never operated the account but keep getting email from the bank to notify it is still active and chargin non maintainence fee. Asked them 100 times to close it.sent filled forms. The link took me to a page to confirm acceptance of the offer to convert my dues into EMI. My account was a salary account. But the salary stopped getting deposited in the month of April. Still the transactions in the account were on going. Today also I had a transaction, but from today's transaction an amount has been blocked from my account stating that now it is a normal account with a minimum balance of 10k. Recently i changed my account from salary to Saving account with AMB 10K. They didn't degraded my ATM card type and they didnt inform me about charges for continuing the Card. For my Saving account type there is no ATM charges. I thought of same but recently they deducted Rs.855 from my account without any intimation hidden charges to the user.
