Kotak mahindra credit card recovery agent harrising me and my family last from 1 month they called me and doing abuse mentally disturbed tourcher and told me if i not paid money they will kill me and asking my location live to come and beat me in my place they called my uncle and father and told them to beat them if i not paid money I ask them i will pay give me my closing letter but they denied to pay only calling me again and agin and abusing me

    My Loan : SPLN[protected],

    From Jan 2021 till date[protected] I have been charged unwanted charges as Dishonoured, Collection and interest against my loan account when I have made the payment well in advance and I have shared details to kotak employees.

    Find the calculation sheet which I have attached along with loan statement, where almost 8000 to 9000 penalty charges are charged unwantedly, request you to check and do the needfull at the earliest.

    When I asked the same question to your employee, I got a reply saying you have cleared the loan now why are thinking of money 9000 or 10000rs pay and clear it, 9000rs or 10000rs does not have value or what?

    I knew i would get the same reply from kotak, beggers are better then kotak, atleast they beg, but here in return kotak demands or goondaism. I have attached the screen shot of the reply also.

    I would like to ask a simple question to all human beings who ever reads this.

    you take a loan for 1000rs and monthly emi would be 100rs with due date on 5th of every month, you pre pay the emi amount on 2nd of every month or on 4th of every month inspite of pre paying the emi you get penal charges by saying delay in payment, still you will repay the charges or fight for it.

    any human being who understands this simple question or logic may reply or post a comment to what i am saying is right or wrong. I dont want to say anythink more then this, my biggest mistake of lifetime is taking loan in kotak.

    In very simple words they say it was communicated in your welcome kit, I asked them to recheck it says if not paid all the charges are applicable, if pre-paid what are the charges i did even asked to share a written statement saying doing IMPS will take 5 days to reflect in the account so that i am clarified and repay the all charges. nothing helped me.

      Dear Kotak team,
      I have a savings account with Kotak bank as a senior citizen(Account no: [protected]) which is now dormant. I am in urgent need of funds. Joint-holders(daughters) are now married and live out of station. I need to dissolve and use the FD amount for emergency but CSR at branch informed to bring all holders which is impossible now. Could you please suggest a way out? (FD account: [protected]). My daughters can provide consent in any format but cannot visit India anytime soon.

      I am a senior citizen now and it will help a lot if this can be done online. Kindly help.

        Regarding mental harassment

        This complaint is regarding mental harassment made by recovery agents and legal persons. I am being harassed by these people.

        According to RBI guidelines, no recovery agents can cross their limits to their customers. RBI does not allow any bank to violate the privacy of the customers but recovery agents contacted all the people who are my friends and employers on my social media, they threatened them and they threatened me...

By name (Shruthi M P) employee code 204262 had called me and said that there is per approved card available on my name and i was relactant to apply for the same she said we are going to dispatch in 3 days and forced me to click on the link and made me to apply for the card and also promised surely going to get the card and also given me an applicant I'd stating that it is credit card approves id no 53850181 and collected my documents and also send here employee I'd now she not responding for calls or messages it is not good she has wasted my precious time and spoiling my cibil score i required clarification on the same and I am attaching proofs for the same

                    My Emi was due on 2nd February'22 but as I was hospitalized i couldn't make the payment. But I immediately later made an online payment through my other bank HDFC . Later to my surprise even Kotak Durable Loan department deducted separate emi from my savings account too. Now I am running pillar to post for the reimbursement of my double Emi Collected from Kotak Consumer Durable Loan department.

                      Hello,

                      I have, after a long period of extreme dissatisfaction with Kotak Mahindra Bank, asked them to terminate my credit card (secured card with a balance of Rs 12, 485) and redeem the amount due against my FD (Rs 15, 401) as of late – however, Kotak Mahindra has been dragging their feet on every request I make in this regard.

                      Not only that, their system has suddenly increased the amount due to Rs 13, 300 something, which is absolutely not on – it is clear that they are just trying to loot maximum amount of funds possible from my fixed deposit.

                      Prior to this, for two weeks, I’ve been asking them to convert my card to an unsecured card, and they never replied to me. I also asked them, because of all the disputes going on with the bank (you can see the history in the previous tickets I’ve opened with the Ombudsman) to please delay the payment due date for this credit card from the 5th to the 15th, however, they studiously ignored this request.

                      Not only this, Kotak Mahindra has been threatening me since February 3rd (which is BEFORE the due date of the 5th) to pay up, or they will “automatically withdraw the funds from my fixed deposit) – which is clearly illegal, and not on. At that point, I had never requested this to be done, neither was it required, now that I have a week later, they’re refusing to do it (so they can eat up the entire FD with their delays and make some excuse about “more amount due” – which clearly isn’t the case from their OWN auto emails they have sent me).

                      When I email them back, I don’t receive a response for days on end, and when I do, it ignores – utterly ignores – everything I asked, and simply copies and pastes some “stock response” back at me. The reason for this is that Kotak simply wants to delay and cause confusion and thereby charge more interest on the card for whatever reason they see fit.

                      I have attached the communication quotes in the email to this complaint in pdf format – the reason I bring all of this up is to show that by delaying customer responses, Kotak Mahindra is simply trying to steal the customer’s money. I am sorry to put it that way, but that is what they are doing – plain and simple.

                      Not only that, they plain and outright LIE to the customer. I’ve asked them in the past about another credit card I applied for with them, their nodal officer got back saying “since I have one credit card with Kotak, I cannot have another” – this is obviously untrue.

                      Their customer service got back saying “since your CIBIL Score didn’t match the requirements, you cannot open another credit card account with us”.

                      Not only does the left hand not know what the right hand does at Kotak, and vice versa - - they are flat out CHEATING customers on a daily basis.

                      To reiterate what I want -

                      One, their nodal officer had promised via writing that all “extra charges” on the credit card were reversed (before Feb 1) (this was with regard to the previous complaint filed with the Ombudsman against the Bank) – but they never did this. Kindly ask them to reverse the Rs 585 that is still pending as “extra charges” on the card – they promised to reverse this, but never did.

                      Two, the FD balance is Rs 15, 400, and the card amount due is essentially Rs 12000, I’d appreciate it if you could please ask the bank to do the right thing and transfer Rs 3400 to my bank account at Kotak.

                      Further, there are pending “milestone” rewards of Rs 780 or thereabouts, which Kotak has not clarified how they will be paid out. I’d appreciate it if you could please ask the bank to do this, and have the funds credited to my account asap.

                      I am sorry to bring all of this up in a “detailed” manner, but Kotak’s service has been nothing short of sly, atrocious and utterly TERRIBLE in all regards, so I have no other option but to bring this up with the Ombudsman. I was hesitating to do so, but today, Feb 9 2022, I cannot see either the credit card in my account, nor the FD detail, and this was before I asked them officially to terminate the credit card, so clearly Kotak is doing “just as it pleases, willy nilly” and “playing” with customer funds.

                      I’d appreciate a swift closure to this; once done, I will never have a credit card or another account with these guys again.

                      I have filed reports with the relevant authorities, but Kotak bank is just full of scam artists and THEIVES, plain and simple, I request all to be aware of this.

                      Despite several emails through their internet banking, despite over 40 tweets, despite this been going on for weeks - Kotak still has not taken the required actions. It is simple to cancel the card, and release the money - but they are dragging their feet on it to eat up as much time and (undue, since I requested cancellation before the date) interest as possible.

                      Kindly have this looked at. This is simply loot and highway robbery on the part of the bank. This bank just has the most awful, callours, pathetic, "dont carish" and horrible customer service I've ever experienced - and now they're doing downright illegal things too by delaying requests, and finding every excuse to steal the customer's money.

                      I cannot write enough about this experience. I am not a person that dwells on the negative, but Kotak's service is just shocking - the first support request was opened on the 2nd (or before that), the second on the 9th, the third TODAY. I have called them, emaile dthem, visited them in person - they steadfastly refuse to do anything other than copy and paste back at me saying the same thing essentially.

                      To Kotak Mahindra, I'd like to ask you two things -

                      1. Do you believe in the law of karma? What you are doing is slapping on interest charges for a card that is ALREADY canceled - not only is that illegal, but it is also a "wrong thing" to do - period! You are essentially forcing the customer to wait for donkeys years for something that should take a click online - is this correct?

                      2. Please confirm, if since this has been pending for NINE DAYS - you can finally find it in you to dispense just a LITTLE BIT Of customer service, and stop giving me the run around - and DO THIS NOW!

                      PLEASE READ everything I am saying. DO NOT just get back with "Sir it will be resolved", as it never is. Please have the funds credited.

                      I doubt anything will happen here, I doubt Kotak will even do anything, but hope springs eternal!!

                      To add insult to injury, what Kotak is doing is calling repeatedly for "minimum payment". After all the fuss, all the hassle, TEN days almost, three requests raised, apparently the right hand STILL doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

                      It is beyond retarded, first threatening me for payment BEFORE THE DUE DATE - then asking for payment AFTER the card is canceled - and NOT doing any of it anyway.

                      Branch, customer care, Twitter, it seems no-one really cares, I have nowhere else to post this TRUE EXPERIENCE, so I am posting here to help others.

                      Stay away from this bank - especially if you value your sanity (and if you prefer online communication etc, with Kotak nothing can really be done online) - and never, ever, use their credit cards, they are an absolute and utter disgrace.

                      The latest on this is Kotak has marked the "request" as closed. Yet, despite it being over 2 weeks now, my money has still not been returned to me.

                      I wonder what this bank thinks of customers, their true thoughts would be very interesting to hear indeed.

                      Just LOUSY overall, cannot access the credit card since the 5th, yet, my fixed deposit isn't being returned, they are more than happy to take money with a click, but return, noo...

                      I have started a complaint with the regulatory body on this one as well. Kotak Mahindra, if you are reading this, I hope you understand the immense dissatisfaction most people are facing using your services, and how you have literally ruined my peace and quiet in many regards ever since I made the mistake of starting the account online.

                      Just a huge UGH is all I have to add . . .

                          This is regarding Car loan CF15449943 KA05-ML 5703.
                          Since car was taken away by Vijay and not given back, I am filed FIR through Court by PCR (Investigation is still going on)
                          I lost my Job 1.5 years back as I was infected by Covid in the 2nd wave and still having breathing issues. Because of which I was not able to pay the EMI's.
                          Since I had no job, I was not able to stay anymore in Bangalore and had to shift to my Native. The notices sent by Kotak were not answered. I was requesting a recovery team as I had no money to pay EMI's.
                          My pending EMI is 3, 80, 000/- now the recovery team is asking for 6, 20, 000.
                          Due to breathing issues I am not able to get work and not able to earn my livelihood also.
                          Please consider the above issues and settle my car loan for 300000/-

                            Whose EMI auto debits from my savings account.

                            I messed payment in a month.

                            I got calls from different numbers and whatsapp texts even after paying due amount.

                            I requested customer care to provide details to clear loan amount instantly.

                            I requested them for loan amount final statement through mail which is registered at bank.

                            But they are not providing details through mail .

                            Please take my complaint against such things from bank.

                              I am used kotak card .. recently I am given to settlement.because of job lost.
                              They given revise latter amount of 9600.(full amount is 13113.64)
                              I paid same day of latter received
                              Through phone pay.
                              Ofter that that agent leaved job.
                              Every month coming bill..bank exicutive torching through call and msg to pay.
                              Even ofter payment I ma not used one rupees also.. credit still not settled.i went MG road kotak bank thay told my case in mumbai but when I called mumbai branch they told we don't have ur case...but agents are torching.

                                My saving account has been frozen without any intimation, also they have deducted many wrong ATM charges, while i follow branch manager he always say in 2 days it will be resolved, and never got my wrong deduction of around 2500, later i added my wife name in same account with all proof they wanted, and after 5 month they frozed my account, i contacted again branch manager, then he said will do in some days, but after i send all document still not resolved, it has been 1 year, what more, kotak bank doesnt have any complain email section, i reached customer care, they say must visit branch?
                                why do re-kyc, when i did all? and currently i am not in india, cant visit branch, but they dont hear this and without any intimation blocked my account.

                                  As you are aware Rapid Car KA05-ML 5703 was taken away by Vijay Kumar and not given back. I have been given police complaint to get a car by raising a PCR case on him.

                                  Meanwhile I was infected with Covid twice and still have a lot of Lung problems due to Covid. I even lost my corporate Job, long back because of which i am having financial problems as well.

                                  Due to which I had to shift to my native from Bangalore and not able to respond to your notices.

                                      As my EMI is on 5Feb 2022 suddenly in my account it showing 0 to pay my EMI I add 1st 500rs on 3rd Feb that is today. Adding 500 also its showing my balance as 0.what is this camden town techno why it charging in account
