As I lost my job in December and yet I haven't received my full and final payment and my mother is diagnosed with cancer so I have to put all my savings for her treatment that’s why I was not able to pay my consumer durable lone amount for 1 EMI.Multiple agents from Kotak Mahindra bank started harassing me over the call and WhatsApp and abused me and my family.

I clearly informed them that I will not be able to pay my emi for Dec and Jan but in Feb I will pay my full amount but still, they are calling and abusing me and texting me over WhatsApp while using abusive words.
An agent from Kotak also reached out to my known contact over WhatsApp and call and miss behaved with them.
It's not the 1st time they have done this.
They are harassing me on the daily basis and threatening me. Due to this, I am not able to focus on my new job and not able to take care of my mother. she is a Cancer patient she is terrified by this behaviour.

If this continues then I will file the police complaint and will reach to consumer forum. And also post screenshots with numbers detail on Twitter so that the public can see Kotak is the worst bank. And no one should use this bank as a saving or salary account.

    Hi Team,

    I have a kotak credit card for almost 3 to 4 years and I have made payment on time since I have received the card and now due to the COVID situation I unable to make the payment as I don't have any job and I had a huge loss in the business as well. The agent name Pravin Kapse - Collection Manager is harrassing me on daily basis to make the make. I have already raised the complainant with the customer service but still no action taken against him. I am very much depressed from the situation. I have told them that just give me sometime and I will try make the payment or will do the settlement. They keep harrassing me saying that we will make nuisance about you, we will file a fraudulent case against which is sec 17 and also will bring police at your home and sieze your family assets. He and his team calling me on daily basis 10 to 15 times and keep on shouting to make the payment. Please help me it's a request.

        Kotak Mahindra Bank

        I (a very senior citizen) wanted to open a Savings Bank account jointly with my wife (also a very senior citizen) and employed daughter.

        The bank’s website provides for opening for single operators only! For joint operations one has to approach a Branch. As I do not want to venture out in this pandemic situation, I thought I will talk to them to find out if they can find a way out. But their system provides for only customers and not otherwise, even a prospective customer like me!

        The contact numbers received from their website were meant for customers only as the IVR system asked for id numbers!

        I think all these banks have provision for opening accounts online only if it is single operator. When will they rise to the needs of the hour?

        I have to approach other banks now!

          Hi,
          I have taken a consumer durable loan bearing no CFB5491546 against a new mobile phone.

          I made every payment of EMI within due date.

          While purchasing the phone the marketing personnel told me that " you have to pay the EMI directly to the bank because your mandate form is unable to get updated".

          I am not defaulter. I made every payment directly to the bank.

          One fine morning the marketing personnel told me that the mandate form which was duly signed by you has been updated and henceforth the EMI will be deducted from your bank account.

          But, unfortunately, only one EMI couldn't be able to be deducted due to insufficient fund of my account.

          But, I made the payment directly to the bank within due date.

          Now, I am receiving phone calls and smss' frequently to pay the penal charge of rs. 975/-.

          After long time the marketing personnel told me that she is unable to
          Wave the penal charge.

          Therefore, I am requesting you to kindly wave this penalty charge and please help me out of this problem.

            Credit Card Collection Team - Harassment

            This is to report that I was subjected to harassment by employees/agents from Kotak Mahindra Bank Credit Card Team.
            I am due by exactly 10 days at the time of writing this complaint.
            I have received more than 60 calls in a span of 30 minutes by different agents each time in spite of me informing that I will be making payment today. Is this how this bank works ? 60 calls ?
            I had to repeat the same for the first 6-7 calls...

            Fullerton fraudsters didn’t update their system for my loan account which was settled years ago and now i am getting all sorts of harassment calls from Kotak bank. These people are absolutely rude, mannerless and threatening me and harassing with the phone call.. I did tell them that the loan account was settled and Fullerton did provide me settlement letter... these guyz are asking for the letter which was given 10 years ago and I don’t have it with me right now as I have moved out of my old address.. they are asking me to pay the principle amount of ₹65, 000/- which is absolutely unfair to me as a customer I have made all the payment and they are saying that they don’t have a record of the same.. the bank has hired only goons and people who only know to fight and yell.. the lady who spoke to me called Me a fraud and said she’ll make sure bank guyz Will track my phone calls, contact my friends and relatives and sit at my home with a legal notice.. etc she didn’t hesitate to use foul language with me.. im clearly not making anybody payment towards their incompetence but me as a single woman have Been threatened by this people.. plz help.. thank you

              We are not receiving satisfactory service from our RM Ms. Jinali Shah and Mr. Bhavesh Chauhan.
              Since the account was opened, we have demanded for cheque pick up facility. Till date the service is not started.
              We had complained in Grievances Level 1 in the month of October 2021, we have received call from our RM. They then approached us with application form for Cheque Pick Up facility. We submitted the form at Chandan House branch to Ms. Jinali Shah.
              Since then we are receiving a single statement that “We have received approval for the said facility, will check and confirm you”.
              Its almost 3 months now, I have asked Jinali Shah that how much time you need to check and confirm???? Still I have not received reply for that also.
              Request to please look in the matter & let us know whether this facility can be done or not.

                  R Sir/Mam,
                  My name is Amit Kumar ([protected]) from Faridabad, Haryana. I have a credit card ([protected]) from your bank and have credits on my side which I was settled with the bank of rRs. 22000/-(attached settled receipt, Recording of him) and i paid the amount with the discuss with kotak employees which were connected with me. But some of your bank employees(they said that they are from Kotak Bank employees one person name is Ranjeet Singh) abusing badly on my mother and wife for told them no payment of credit card. After that on 06/01/22 they called me so many times and abused me for payment but i paid my settled amount so I told them also. ( +91-[protected], [protected], [protected]) these are the number. On 07th January 2022 they called me and repeated the same thing. Sir/Mam, they have given me such filthy filthy abuses, by using my mother's name, i will attach you in the recording. You check and see how many dirty abuses have been given. Such Kotak Bank name can be spoiled like this. I made my payment. Still you gave my number to such agency. For the collection that they did not speak such dirty things. I said that i was paid my settled amount but they did not listen to anything and was just abusing (mother/sister gali and all) i can not write these words which they spoke that time. Now they called my boss where I was doing a job last month and abused against me and the company fired me that time and I do not know who they are continue calling me and threatening me against my family ke puri family ko nude karke ghumayege aur bhi bahut kuch i can't write. This is not the right way to collect dues from customers and abuse me and my family so badly. If i will not get any solution regarding this matter then i will have to get the police FIR against them and tag the recording and this mail to Kotak bank on all social sites. I want some action to be taken against all of them and I will not pay it until they apologizes to me and my family.I just want an inquiry against them.Â

                    I opened my salary account in 2015 and in 2019 my account was not credited because I left the job. I was out of India so was not able to manage the account. When I joined new company in India, the corporate salary team came and said thay we will create a new salary account. I told them that I already have an account but it is not in use so will I get a new account. They said Yes. During my payday the salary was transfered in my old Kotak account and my whole salary was deducted. I went to Vasai Branch on 22nd December 2021 and they gave me a number to call and close my charges. I called them and they understood my concern and gave 33000 and rest were deducted. After a week again I am getting charged so I decided to close my account. The team didn't even advise or assured that kindly close or transfer to 0 balance account to keep a good account.

                    I went today and the rep and manager said that I need to pay 590 closing charge in order to close the account. Manager - Kapil Gaud and Rep: Priyanka Rajak said that I need to pay the amount.
                    Why should I pay the amount. Kotak has deducted lot of money and they didn't bother to wave off the charge. When I asked Prajakta so help her with the name, she denied and raised her voice while giving out her Last name. This was really disappointing. I had to call Kotak, visit branch numerous times just to close my account and create a new one. They didn't understand my concern and how much my balance deducted still.

                    I would advise customers to be aware of such incidents and do not entertain. Better to have an account in other banks.

                          I am writing after complete dis-satisfaction due to no any proper help from customer care for technical error in internet banking when transferring the amount from my 1 Kotak to another Kotak bank of mine. Refer attached error print screen.

                          I reached out to customer care number from my phone number [protected] and to be honest the Keya Chatbot is totally frustrating and roadblock for me to connect with human customer representative . You are charging us on customer care number where we as customer are spending most of the time with chatbot and listening your unnecessary adds and wait time. I called 7-8 times and then i reached to one of your customer care representatives who accepted that there is technical error in your system however she did not help me to raise complaint to IT team because I am facing this problem in my wife Kotak account and she enforced me to ask my wife to call customer care from her registered number. I told her that my wife's registered phone number is not active at this moment so my wife can call her from landline and then you can verify her details to move ahead towards raising this complaint to IT team. Customer representative denied for it again so i gave her another solution if i can send the technical problem to customer care email id from registered email id of Kotak account for which also she denied.

                          After multiple requests, i asked to connect with her manager or supervisor but she denied initially and later she said that she has passed the details to manager and i will get call back and i have been waiting for that call till now.

                          I am in TROUBLE for sending amount from my 1 account to another account in family for URGENCY and your team is giving il-logical EXCUSES and NOT helping me here with any alternative solution.

                            Preclosure amount paid but account still active

                            Hi,

                            I have bought a television 3 months back with kotak finance and on December I tried to pre-close the kotak finance and paid the full amount with preclosure charge on Dec 10. I have transferred the amount to kotak and missed to inform for the pre closure to customer care on the same day. I have called to customer care on 11 th they said you need to pay per day interest and call again. So I paid the interest amount to kotak...

                            Sub: Complaint against Kotak Mahindra Bank
                            Dear sir
                            I am holder of CREDIT card of Kotak Mahindra Bank No.[protected] for the last more than two years and making all the credit card payments on time. The kotak Mahindra bank has issued another kotak Mahindra white card No.[protected] and charged Rs.3000 + 575.10 as GST total amount of rs.3575/- as annual charges without informing me. When I raised this complaint to the customer care of kotak Mahindra bank to please cancel this credit card, but they have flatly refused that they will not cancel this kotak Mahindra white credit card No.[protected] and told me that you have to pay this amount, otherwise they will charge the penal interest on it. I have requested that I will pay all the necessary dues which I have spent and will not pay any amount of annual charges as I have not appraised by the bank regarding this annual charges.
                            I request you to kindly interfere in this matter and direct the Kotak Mahindra Bank to cancel kotak Mahindra white credit card No.[protected]. I will be ready to pay the outstanding for which I have spent without annual charges which they have levied intentionally without informing me.

                              Unable to unfreeze saving account

                              Hello Team,
                              My CRN is 31117191 and my saving account is freeze due to kyc issue. I did kyc through net banking using my adahar card number but still my problem is not resolved. I visited to Kotak Bank JP Nagar 6th Phase branch, met branch manager on 29th December 2021 but my account did not unfreeze after spending whole day in bank branch. I submitted all required kyc documents on 29th December but still my problem is not resolved....

                                Dear Kotak Mahindra Bank,
                                I have been using Kotak Mahindra 811 zero balance saving account from the last 1 year. But now this is too much I have noticed that my account is keeping charging from Rs.23.60, twice a this month don't know why this is deducting from my account, in fact i don't know ATM CW FEE, POST DELE FEE, It is okay that you are charging from after more than free transaction but this is too much which is not good this all are hidden charges may be.
                                I just want to know and i need an explanation that why i keep charging with that nonsense fees. This is totally pathetic and that means if I keep my money in the account it will become nill soon from the way you are charging.
                                I am giving you some screenshots from the site alse i have too much before i had ignored but now in pandemic everybody is facing from financial crisis..please solve this query ASAP.
