I have bought LG double door refrigerator in 2019, which had a warranty for compressor for 10 years. On 14th June 2022, the fridge stopped working. I raised a complaint to LG customer care on 15th June 2022. A technician from LG came the next day and said the fridge requires repairs. Since then no one from LG has come to repair the fridge. I have called them multiple times and each time was falsely promised that my issue will be resolved on priority but its already been 10 days and my issue has still not been addressed. In this extreme hot wether lot of our stuff has gone waste and we are facing difficulties everyday.
I have had the worts experience with LG and would never purchase their products again. Complaint no with LG- RNP[protected]

    I had raised a complaint almost a month ago as my new side door refrigerator was not cooling. Engineers had concluded that it's compressor is not working properly. And for last month they just keep on giving me dates after dates to replace the compressor but till now they haven't replaced it. It's very difficult to live in so much heat without refrigerator as all the things keeps getting wasted. What is the benefit of buying big brand consumer products if for such small issue they take so much time. I would request to please get compressor replaced in upcoming week or the refrigerator itself should be replaced. I'm not going to wait for another 10 12 days.

      Poor service from LG

      I have purchased a LG refrigerator on 13th Oct 2021 & since then i am facing issues with LG service, the demo took place after 1 month, then i had requested for some additional trays for this as well they took almost a month to arrange after lot of call & emails, the local service team does not care at all for the customers they are even not ready to share the escalation matrix as they don't want their seniors to know what kind of pathetic...

      I would like to raise a huge concerning complaint to LG India about their terrible product and after-sale services!!! It’s been more than a month, no one from LG Chennai has paid any attention so far! My misery started when I decided to buy a Nanocell TV- Nano83 at discounted price from Reliance Digital, VR Mall Chennai and I did not know at that time what I was falling into in the name of huge discounts! I bought the TV on 7th May 2022, it was delivered on 8th May and same day installation- really good work done by Reliance Digital team. I started realising the TV has been making some cracking/clicking voices from the day 1, and over the period of the time of 3 days- those noises became too frequent that you could not enjoy the TV at any given time of the day or the night.
      Firstly, it felt like it was the wall-mount making noise but soon I raliased it was tv so I raised a request – and technician told me – it’s due to heat- when TV tries to cool down then it makes cracking noises.

      Day by day, the frequency of the cracking voice became louder and I recorded multiple audios and again raised the ticket – RNP[protected] and tv technician came, opened the not even month old tv and reinstalled it and told me “Sir, we received 2-3 complaint like this for this model and after opening and fixing the back panel again– those noises stopped for other customers” and for me, it did not work! How would opening and fixing the back panel again without touching any component fix the clicking issue- beyond my imagination. I feel, for others also it did not, they were just lying to close the ticket.

      I mailed to CEO option and also raised an escalation VCP[protected] except one SMS I have never gotten a call from them about the status. When I reached out to LG customer care, they just said we escalated to it and you will receive a call from senior manager- which I have not yet received.
      While talking to one of the LG TV engineer, he gave me an explanation that while cooling down – “TVs makes the same noises as our motor cycles do, so it’s normal!” I am still recovering from this illogical explanation, you can read it twice, how ridiculous this explanation sounds.

      It INR 94K TV and making noises like a 2-wheeler vehicle, UNACCEPTED!!!

      Now, they want to come again and put a tape (cello tape or packing tape not sure) and saying it will fix the issue but I do not want this tv to be opened again where they can do trial and error anymore. I want a replacement of the TV, even upgraded one as I have been bearing the torture for more than a month --- continuous lies, no help from Chennai customer service team, no proper help from LG customer support and on top of it – every week, they will resolve it this week, but it was never resolved.
      On 18th June, I visited Chennai service center – spoke with Mr. Rajanathan – AGM, Mr. Vetri- team lead and they promised me to give a resolution by Monday, and since Monday they have been telling me they will provide replacement confirmation by tomorrow – it’s Wednesday and still not reply from them, no reply from their HO. I have been calling them every single day to get an update and they do not have curtsy to call and update me.

      It’s 22nd June, more than a month of misery because of this continuous cracking noises. LG Chennai centre is not able to suggest a solution, not replying to emails, fake promises of calling in 30 mins, no clear explanation about it’s Nano83 series issue or it’s just a problem with my TV, no status on replacement on TV.

      To conclude, I am super annoyed, frustrated, and irritated by LG team customer support team and customer service Chennai team. I want a replacement with upgraded the TV and an hand written apology letter from LG team – India Head, Main office and a call with him/her for compensating the emotional, psychological and financial damage this tv has caused me for more than a month.

        The LG company is not doing the service for my refrigerator for 10 days now.

          The refrigerator which we got 6 months back, it's freeze is not working since May 30th 2022. Engineer came and replaced the part but still it isn't working. The first request took 1 week itself. The second request still ongoing with no positive feedback:

          Issues observed so far with the customer care:
          1. Engineer did not acknowledge the issue on first request
          2. Tried calling engineer and he kept saying he will visit tomorrow but that did not happen
          3. Connect with customer care multiple times, also asked to change the engineer. They also say they will look into it but of no use

          This is the worst customer experience of my life and I am regretting why I got lg. Life doesn't looks so good now. Please let me know if it can be fixed

              We Bought LG washing machine Froont Load FHV 1207 ZWb from PNV electronics in mavelikkara, Alappiuzha District Kera;la on 9 Aug 2021.
              Unfortunately we cant using the machine now as electric current is being discharged from the machine even if it is not switched on. My father and Mother are alone in home and multiple times they got shock from the washing machine. 3 weeks back technician came and worked with our electrician and found that it is a machine component issue and said they will change the component. But till this moment nothing happened and the technician is not picking the call also.
              I would like to please bring this to the Lg customer care attention if anything happens to the people who uses to teh machine due to this electric discharge I will make sure LG will be hold responsible for the incidents happen to teh human and the device. We believe this is not a repairable issue and needs LG to replace the machine as soon as possible.

                Hello,
                I had raised a complaint on TV repair with LG, their Service team- Mr.Shamil ([protected]) visited us in the mid of April & informed there is Motherboard issues & will take minimum of 70 Days to get the spare part.
                We waited for the said days by regular follow up, By the month of May - Dhanya from LG Services center ([protected]) reached out to us & confirmed that spare part will reach by June 20th & they will be able to fix by then; she even requested for a call back by June 15th.
                We tried calling them multiple times during this time with no response.
                On 20th June, Nithin from LG Service center responded at last, stating they never confirmed on Spare parts & asking us to procure it from our side.
                Now after 70+ days, how fare it is for us to procure it when they are not able to.

                We need this to be fixed(repair) or refund for purchasing this product from LG.

                  We purchased side by side door refrigerator in May 2018. The fridge had a warranty of 10 years for compressor. The compressor stopped working in May 2022. Service engineer visited the site and promised replacement in 4 days. Then it turned out 2 weeks and later one month and now it's 2 months. Escalation of issue has stereotype answers no proper answers. I am shocked to hear that the part is not available with the company. I don't know how they claim themselves as no 1 company

                    My LG direct drive washing machine got drum noise problem and called for LG customer care and they assigned this case to "Charm Engineers" Chennai. Service engineer told me to replace the entire drum set that has costed me Rs.7100/- and I have paid in full to service supervisors Gpay account. The machine delivered to my home after service and the it was ran without any clothes load. So, it was running without any issue. But, after adding clothes load and ran again, it was producing so much noise. I called the service centre again reported this problem and the service engineer inspected the issue at my home and said the shock absorber in the machine is reason for noise issue and it needs replacement and that will again cost me another Rs.1000/-. I told him that this issue was not there before you took the machine to service centre and now you are asking me to replace the shock absorber which I'm not responsible to take the expense. But, there is no support from service engineer, service supervisor. I have also tried to reach out service head, but no one can't be reachable or not picking up the call. This is an unacceptable behaviour and I never expect from LG company.
                    I would always prefer LG company and own couple of LG products. But, now I'm very serious not to buy anything from LG hereafter and also not recommend LG to relatives, friends and collegues circle for this kind pathetic after sales support experience.
                    If you take any action on this request, please do. Nothing else to describe the pain I'm going through because of this issue.

                      1st issue-
                      On 6th of may 2022 i bought LG ULTRAGEAR 27gl850 monitor Arihant computers, from the day of purchasing the monitor it started showing some problems, so i registered a complaint with LG on 10th of june (RNP[protected]issue -left side of the screen had a yellowish tint to it, IPS glow and BLB- Back light bleeding) on 11th may Mr.Raosaheb Avhad (+91 [protected]) he inspected the monitor and he concurred but he was unable to take a proper picture of the issue, he said the issue doesn't show up on the pictures, he suggested that i have 3 years of warranty so i should use it like this for a few month and then if the problem still remains i should contact customer service again and the complaint was closed.

                      I also tried to ask a replacement from the shop (arihant computers) but they refused saying its not their fault.

                      2nd issue-

                      On 29 th of may 2022 night this issue escalated and lines started to appear on my monitor along with a tiny black spot on the top side, that tiny spot quickly spread into a line/crack on the inside of the monitor,

                      On 30th of may 2022 i again registered a complaint with LG (RNP[protected] on the next day
                      Mr.Raosaheb Avhad (+91 [protected]) came to inspect he observed that the monitor has not damage from the outside, only problem is inside of the monitor, he tried to open the monitor he did not have the necessary tools and the know how to do so, but he was adamant to open it, he was gonna use a metal screwdriver to pry it open the monitor but i stopped him, this attempt of his increased the damage within the monitor even more.
                      He told me he will contact his boss Mr.Manoj Singh(+91 [protected]) and forward the details to him and someone will come and pick up my monitor to inspect it from the inside BUT NO ONE CAME TO PICK IT UP.

                      after couple of days i contacted Mr.Singh he said it's my fault and i have damaged it (without any proof and inspection) he told me he has forwarded the details to his head, somehow i got the contact details of his manager Mr.Amit (+[protected] again i explained everything to him but no one came to pick the monitor for inspection, he says the technical department from Delhi says its physical damage,
                      how can they decide without any inspection?

                      My monitor has no signs of damage

                      LG is blemming me for their faulty/defective product and quality control.
                      for LG customers hard earned moneyand trust is nothing.

                      in the end LG refused to change the defective monitor under warranty but offered 20% discount to repair it, so i had no choice but to pay for the repair, a few good people in LG who thought my problem was genuine they tried their best to help but only managed to get 20% discount, if i had gone to consumer court to file a case that would cost me time and more money so i decided to pay for repair.

                      LG is again blaming me for the problem even after providing all the evidence, same issue has happened to other users of this monitor but LG refuses to acknowledge, they all say that they cant go against their head MR.DEEPAK RAINA who has decided that my monitor cant be fixed under warranty, they asking for money.
                      they say i have done impact damage to my monitor which they have no proof of, they told me on the first day when their representative came that someone for LG will pick up my monitor for further inspection but still no one has come to collect, THEY KNOW MY MONITOR HAS NO PHYSICAL DAMAGE AND THE DAMAGE IS INTERNAL CAUSED BY MANIFACTURING DEFECT .
                      PLEASE HELP SIR THEY ARE REFUSING TO RPLACE, REPAIR OR REFUND.

                        My LG ThinkQ 687 litre fridge is not getting cool since 25h May, , I registered a request for visting and chrck what was wrong with my fridge, the technician visited and said problem with compressor need to change, , today 16th June NO ONE IS RESPONDING TO MY REQUEST NOR ANSWRING MY CALLS, , WHENEVER CALLED CUSTOMER CARE I JUST GET SORRY REPLY AND WE WILL LOOK INTO THIS, , TODAY I REGISTERED A COMPLAINT THROUGH LG CSR Mr.Prashant VCP[protected], , Hope A Company Like LG will be more responsible and senseable towards its customer for post sale service, , and do not trouble customers as they are troubling me, , since last 3 weeks am unable to use the fridge, , hope you understand and at least now address my issue and resolve it.Lastly didn't expect such pathetic service standards from a company like LG. Very lousy, lazy and irresponsible staff

                          Dear Concern,
                          I bought an LG AC from Sahu agencies kapoorthala, lucknow at the rs 40290/- . I got brand discount of Rs 2000/-. and finally I paid rs 38290/- through ICICI credit card in 9 month EMI Rs 4506/- per month on NO EMI COST scheme. . Mr. Ashish ( sales Man) and his Manager committed to me. he will not take any interest charge to me. however I have to pay, Interest charge Rs 2264/- and it will be cash back by the bank . I informed to them that It is clearly written in sales invoice that only Rs 1500/- will be cashback. he said to me don't worry you will get all interest charges after 90 days. when I return back to him on 12 June 2022. he refused that and said no interest charges are taking from you, all are processing charges only, I have shown to him my credit card details that I am paying interest and it is not any processing fees.
                          Kindly help me to get my interest charges Rs 764/- ( Rs 2264/- less Rs 1500/- cash back received).

                            We had purchased a LG refrigerator model # GL- D402JPZL/2015 with 10 years warranty on Inverter Compressor.

                            In April 2022, after 7 years, the refrigerator stopped cooling, since it was out of the 5 year warranty period, i called a local engineer, who filled gas and still after a few days it stopped cooling.

                            Hence I got in touch with the LG company directly who send their representative and said it was a compressor problem and that it needs to be replaced.

                            He also informed that since I had called an outside engineer to fill the gas, my warranty on the compressor is not valid. Even after telling him that my compressor was not repaired or touched, he still insisted that I have to pay for a new compressor.

                            I will have to pay the full amount of ₹ 7000 to replace the compressor officially.

                            I would like to know from the company is this your stated policy.

                                I have made a complaint related to my front load washing machine. They took 7 days to repair but still i m not satisfied with the service, they have spoiled my washing machine ..S G Enterprises located in meerut is the most pathetic place I have ever seen . They are frauds I have no information what they did to my washing machine and they don't know how to talk to their customers.. misbehaved, given wrong information all the time..service is very bad..i will never buy any LG product in my life . I will never recommend LG to anyone. The most horrible service centre in meerut.

                                  LG AC wasnt working so the technician changed the motor and charged me 3500 Rs after which the AC did not work, then he took all the parts and fixed our AC after which the AC again did not work, now he is saying the PCB is damaged, he is asking me to pay again. This is completely wrong from the company's end. Now if I pay 4000 again what is the guarantee that the AC will work. I want this to be resolved immediately. Very poor service from LG. I have been calling customer care but no body has any solution.

                                    I purchased an LG 437 ltr 3 star refrigerator in March 2021. Just above a year has passed and the fridge has stopped cooling. It has been six days since the request for service has been lodged vide no. RNP[protected] but till date no one has contacted us. I have given many reminders and even wrote to the CEO of consumer care but to no avail. It is worst kind of customer care. I am regretting switching to LG from whirlpool. Please be careful of purchasing LG products.

                                    The LG service engineer visited me a few days ago and changed the compressor. The fridge started working. But after two days it stopped cooling again. I called the engineer. He came the next day and topped up the gas. The fridge started working again. But to my surprise it is again not cooling since yesterday. Everytime all my foodstuff worth thousands stored in the fridge got spoilt. I am really feeling harassed. I did not expect such poor product and service from LG. My Mobile number is [protected].

                                    The refrigerator is again stopped working in 2023 and was repaired after mainy days. In 2024, it has stopped working thrice. In February it stopped working and was repaired after about 10 days. I was forced to buy a two year AMC as in about 4 years after purchase, it has gone to work shop once and repaired 4 times. Then in May 2024, it stopped working again. After many requests it was repaired after about 10 days. Remember, it is peak of summer. Now about a week ago, it has stopped working again. I have complained many times but nobody has come. LG has no shame in tormenting it's loyal customers. So I request all to please learn from my ordeal and think a hundred times before buying any LG. Product. I think I have no other option but to take legal recourse.

                                      Hi,

                                      I purchased LG AC from Flipkart model no PS-Q19RNZE delivered on 29th April 2022 and installed on 8th May 2022.

                                      While installing the person never check for gas is up to date or it is leaking from somewhere or not, he just install and went.

                                      And within a month AC started displaying error code CH38 on display. And also due to this error AC stopped working.

                                      I call LG customer care and shared my problem with LG person. The person told that you have purchased it from Flipkart so Flipkart will resolved it. And if you want LG service you need to pay 3900INR.

                                      I don't understand why I should pay for it company should service it free of cost and the product is under warranty. And also the product is only one month old after installation. It is a mistake of that person who came here to install he must check. Not my mistake.

                                      I also have sumsung AC but that AC never gave me problem for refilling the gas.

                                      I have only one question that how gas leaked so early, means that's the installation problem. If it would have become after six months I can understand but within a month after installation AC stopped working and displays error CH38.

                                      Please resolve my above query. Facing very bad experience with LG AC. Very much unsatisfied by service.
