Worst customer service .
In my home most of the product purchased in lg .But the customer service is pathetic now .
I bought lg inverter ac just two and a half years ago and it was the top end in the segment . Usage was frequent in summer(only in night)
and moderate during the rest of the year.

All fine until 2 years and suddenly ac was not throwing cool air anymore. complaint registered in LG customer service
LG technician (name- munna)visited in chennai (12/05/22)and said gas is empty they need to refill the gas I asked to refill in home itself but technician said its LG policy we need to take product to their warehouse for gas refill. And he told gas refill + transportation around 4k to 5k They took both the units for refill and later from AK engineerg I received a call saying we need to replace with new coil so coil + gas refill + transportation = 17 k (75% of AC cost)

With moderate usage and within two years the LG people want to replace coil. How pathetic Now why would i go for a high-end lg a/c with a low-quality coil .when i can have other brands which are very cheaper than this. Samsung five-star ac bought at the same time working fine at home.
It looks like lg is doing a scam to loot its own customers. Not use with taking to (karthik -team lead) and (gnamuthu - service head) I am not the only one check out others pointing out the same issues in social medias air conditioner coils scam

I hope lg will look into this issue and resolve my issue at the earliest. Otherwise i will throw the ac infront of LG showroom

      All fine until 2 years and suddenly ac was not throwing cool air anymore. complaint registered in LG customer service
      LG technician visited in chennai and said they need to inspect the product in their warehouse gas refill. They took both the units for inspection and under pressure checks they found the coil issue and said the replacement would be 16 k

      With moderate usage and within two years the condenser coil started issue . Now why would i go for a high-end lg a/c with a low-quality coil .when i can have other brands which are very cheaper than this. Voltas five-star ac bought at the same time at 26k working fine at home.
      I should have gone for a copper condenser or some other brand with a quality coil. It looks like lg is doing a scam to loot its own customers. I am not the only one check out others pointing out the same issues from lg air conditioner coils

      I hope lg will look into this issue and resolve my issue at the earliest.

          Hello,

          I had one big mistake in my life by purchase LG Split AC in 2018, But from 2020 to till now every year minimum 8 time LG authorized service center (AIR COOL Ghaziabad UP) engineer 6b time visited and same replied that AC is working normal, and LG Dual inverter Split AC can not achieve room temperature against AC set limit,
          now i feel that i made a bad choice to select the LG AC,
          Actually AIR cool system person not skilled so i am facing and suffer with low cooling, I hope you will help or support me for sort out from this issue,

            my name is t satish reddy
            recently i had taken new lg washing machine at (guntur) 522001 (andhra pradesh) india

            at the date of 04/05/2022 on this month

            at next day company experience service person name :- (david reddy ) lg company mechanical person to show demo to us as how to use my washing machine

            but at that day he removed box & fix all washing machine accessories to start (0n ) but that is not good day
            we waited for good day to start washing machine
            we told we will on it after 2 days
            if any enquiry or any problem we will call u
            we think it was new washing machine
            but why there is a problem
            so we will start it after 2 days at on good time
            service mechanical person has gone
            but at 8th date of this month we start my lg washing machine

            it was moving
            but some water is coming down from the washing machine
            we call service mechanical person
            ge told please make tight the tube at down

            at next 2nd day also same problem
            at 3rd day also water is coming down

            we called service mechanical person to check total fitting

            he came at next day
            he came & opened from upper side
            we shocked once
            at inside water / tub/ drum
            it was damaged
            one big hole at drum inside
            we asked why it was damaged
            company person told we think it was physical damaged from company
            i told ur auto boy has bring the washing machine

            u is the company experience service person
            u only opened the machine
            but why it was physical damaged
            he told damage piece from company
            please ask where u taken
            i called & told to saled shop at where we had taken washing machine
            at first he told it was not problem from my side

            i will forward to lg service
            we will provide to replace the damaged drum / tub inside part as what is dameged

            important:-
            1) but there is no damage cracked
            part inside at washing machine

            2) we do not used

            3) we r complaintig from 1st
            onwards water is coming down to service person

            4) company person only opened & shown to us about damage

            5) why damaged item is sold to us

            6) who is responsible person

            7) company / saled shop outlet

            8) without check / verification why it was physical damaged

            9) company is not verified properly

            10) why company is cheating customers

            11) iam sending totally bill/ damaged item photos
            u have any enquiry first ask company person what happened

            please check & provide new washing machine asap

            other wise we will provide & file a complaint on cheating customers & saled damaged item to customer

              I bought 1 ton split AC in the month of Nov. 2021 and hardly used 15-20 days in month of April 2022 and then stopped working. I have raised concern with LG service center on 7th May 2022. The request number is RNP[protected]. Almost 11 days gone but still the issue is not resolved. Also raised same concern through LG website but no impact. Service guy saying every day that issue will resolve tomorrow.

              LG's after sales service is worst what I observed now. Even their technicians are not fully trained to find the issue and resolve immediately.

              I request to all AC buyers, please don't purchase LG product as their products are faulty and after sales service is worst.

              Company doesn't took any further steps to resolve the issue but I saw they have immediately marked this complaint as resolved. Very worst experience with LG
              LG Electronics customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
              LG is a company with anti-customer approach and not ready to think or come out of its failed internal customer policy to make it tune & to reorient their policy and management systems to address consumer concerns and grievances adopting world class standards as required in NCH Mission.
              LG is a company working under influence of Korean ways & means and don't bother Indian laws or acts and more surprisingly PMO or Ministry of Consumer Affairs or NCH willfully avoid to intervene to help & support the customer rights duly managed by LG under its tuning & influence of money & muscle power taking advantage of gap between NCH Vision, NCH Mission on Mobile App & NCH functions and provisions of CP Act, 2019. By this way LG dare to suppress & crush the customer rights without any fear of GOI machinery getting full support from PMO, Ministry of Consumer Affairs and NCH by willfully and arbitrarily ignoring customer rights & requirements. Very sorry to offer such UNFORTUNATE comment and to show the real face of LG in its own mirror.

                  Purchased LG refrigerator (420 litre capacity) GL-1472QDSY on 02.02.2019 bearing no: 809PRFG049659IN vide invoice No: HO-GST-11373 Dtd.02.02.2019 for Rs.43200/- from Local dealer Mr. Maulik (M[protected] of M/s SAFEZONE ELECTRONICS, G-03 & G-103, Plot No: 231, Haveli Arcade, Sector-11, Gandhinagar, Gujarat

                  Noticed Defective : First complaint bearing No: RNP[protected]resolution/repair took 53 days un reasonable time -09.04.2020 to 31.5.2020) + costing me invoice of Rs. 1954/-, invoice bearing No: T47789/2799
                  second complaint bearing No: RNP[protected]resolution/repair took 5 days’ time - 23.01.2021 to 27.1.2021) + costing me your invoice of Rs.767/-, invoice bearing No: U47789/01597 for (protested) billed amount of Rs. 4431.10
                  third complaint bearing No: RNP[protected].05.2021 to 08.07.2021) 69 days

                  • Further details: After struggle of 69 days (1.5.21 to 8.7.21), I managed to get replacement of defective LG Refrigerator by different model (437 Litre GL-T432APZY bearing no: 107PRBA000509 on 8.7.21 as follows
                  LG has given three punishments for same cause of defective fridge.
                  1. LG made me to bear a loss of Rs.8640/- towards one year depreciation @20% on purchase price of Rs.43200/- for no fault of mine
                  2. LG made me to pay NEFT Rs.9631.50 on 25.6.21 towards difference in cost of old defective fridge valued Rs.34560/-[[protected]] & new model fridge Rs.44192/- for no fault of mine because LG stopped production of old model
                  3. LG is refusing to give me customer warranted documents like money receipt of Rs.9631.50, invoice/bill for Rs.44192/- for new fridge which I got after full considerations/payments stating that LG is not supposed to give them under LG policy which LG is not ready to share or disclose or quote the said clause of LG policy stating LG policy is internal matter of LG.

                  As per internal policy of LG, LG is denying me to share LG policy and also denying me to share customer warranted 4 lawful documents and in lieu thereof contrarily forcefully giving & forcing me to accept defective Debit note, defective delivery challan, packing list page which I never asked or required. I am not interested in LG warranted 3 documents viz., defective Debit note, defective delivery challan, packing list page
                  It is possible for LG to comply my grievance by in relation of LG policy or amendment in LG policy or under CP Act, 2019. Had LG provided under LG policy or in relaxation or modification of LG Policy, I need not seek redressal under consumer right under CP Act, 2019(not 1986)

                  As per Consumer Protection (General)Rules, 2020 and as per section 31 of GST Act, 2017 Invoice or bill is required to be given to customer as per customer right and not to give invoice/bill etc amount to unfair trade practice under section 2(47)(vii) etc of Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (not 1986)

                  Even LG Corporate Office has failed to reply any of my three RPAD letters Dated.23.8.21, 5.9.21 & 5.12.21.

                  LG is trying its best to suppress the voice of customer and keen to crush the customer right to get invoice / bill etc lawfully

                  Desirable resolution of complaint:

                  Option A:
                  To get 4 lawful customer warranted documents from LG India or Local dealer Mr. Maulik (M[protected] of M/s SAFEZONE ELECTRONICS, Gandhinagar and LG Corporate Office to reply my 3 RPAD letters Dtd.23.8.21, 5.9.21, 5.12.21
                  Customer warranted Documents:
                  1. Invoice/bill Dtd. 8.7.21 for Rs.44192/- ModelGL-T432APZY sl.no:107PRBA000509
                  2. Money recept/voucher Dtd.25.6.21 for NEFT payment of Rs.9631.50 to LG
                  3. Receipt of returned defective fridge to transport driver on 8.7.21
                  4. Proper warranty card duly signed by SVC with full customer details etc

                  Option B: Local dealer M/S Safezone Electronics, Gandhinagar (Mr. Maulikbhai – Mobile:[protected] is ready to resolve the grievance provided LG India permit and authorise the local dealer to do so, in case LG is not willing.
                  Please help & support customer right to get invoice/ bill etc. When LG say LG policy is internal matter of LG & nor ready to share/disclose, in what way customer is concerned with LG Policy and to use the said policy against customer right is against the principle of natural justice. In view thereof i.e. denial to give invoice/bill etc under LG policy withour sharing LG policy in its full context, Customer has no other option but to resort/seek the customer right under Consumer Protection (General)Rules, 2020 and as per section 31 of GST Act, 2017 which clearly envisage that Invoice or bill is required to be given to customer as per customer right and not to give invoice/bill etc amount to unfair trade practice under section 2(47)(vii) etc of Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (not 1986) .

                    On 14 May 2022 afternoon, my 3 year old LG Inverter refrigerator (2019 model purchased in May 2019) stopped cooling. There was light inside but no cooling. I registered a complaint with LG Customer Care at 6.51 am on 15 May 2022.

                    Till 16th May 9.00 am, I did not get a call from a LG service engineer. I then called the local Service center Shafa & Co. and was informed that the complaint was assigned to the wrong place and they had just got the request. Anyway, the service engineer visited post 12 noon on 16 May and informed me that the compressor had conked off. He then added that it happened due to a high voltage spike (??!!) and the motherboard also had to be changed. The compressor was under warranty so it was free but the motherboard was not and I would have to pay service charges too. I was okay with that. The service engineer promised me that the parts would be available by the next day and the fridge would be repaired by 18 May. He took off some connection and now the refrigerator is completely dead!! On contacting Shafa & Co. on 17 May, an extremely rude person told me that the parts MAY be delivered to them by Friday 20 May. If yes, the fridge would be repaired on Friday or Saturday. No guarantees though.

                    From new research, I gather that the LG inverter linear compressors are faulty which probably explains why the refrigerator stopped working after just 3 years!! As a layperson, I don't even know if the motherboard is actually bad too!! Anyway, I made multiple requests to LG explaining that a refrigerator is very important in May in Mumbai. They just keep reverting with "we appreciate your patience". How difficult is it for parts to be shipped in a few days? Are the parts coming from Korea?

                    I regret purchasing LG appliances. This is my third terrible experience with them. LG just does not care about it's customers. They have zero respect for their customers.

                    It is a refrigerator costing 65000/-. I am more than happy to pay the cost of the motherboard and service charges. Can LG just expedite the process? If not, I intend to sue the company for malpractice, fraud and cheating.

                    LG Service Center called up today, 20 May (the day the work was to be done) and informed me that the parts would take another 3-4 days!!! Escalating the complaint did not help; just made it worse unfortunately!

                        Never purchase a product from LG. Our first refrigerator quit working after one month and LG refused to repair or replace it. We had to go through Home Depot to get a replacement. Our second refrigerator in 4 years quit working two weeks ago. There are no service technicians in our area so that is not an option. LG will not issue a refund as requested. We have just been getting the run around for weeks. I urge you to stay away from LG as both their products and their customer service is terrible.

                            Hi
                            made my service done on 19 march 22 in which my coil was changed in inner unit and gas was filled
                            within a month gas was released from unit
                            so i complained again on 22 april
                            two times engineer was visit was done and they told outer unit is corrupt and needed to change which will amount to 8300 rs.I had a doubt so asked them to wait
                            next day i personally called someone from lg and he said all is okay ..The valves were left loosened so he made it tight and gas was filled and till date ac is running fine
                            for this i made a complaint to area cco ruchi yadav but she didnt took any action
                            again i made a complaint to amit rathore{[protected]} whose number i got from your mail said someone else named manish gupta{[protected]} is incharge of our area...I have asked both of them to refund my gas amount as it was theirservice man fault who left valves open an d2 more persons who visited to see the unit...
                            I am just mailing you as digitex aircon is doing fraud with consumers please note it down and help me in getting my gas amount refund..
                            I am writing you as ...No action is taken by them till date
                            they are only asking to not to complain asthey said no refund will be done

                            please take action against them..Its serious matter

                              Had taken my LG G8X to Bangalore service center when the phone had touch issue on the screen. Got it replace under warranty. This service was done in the month of Oct 2021. Now the back panel is getting removed as I see gap being formed between the back panel and the middle frame. The adhesion was not proper and due to this I'm suffering as my phone will no longer be water resistant. This was completely not my fault and I am having to be burdened with this. Called service center of Chennai and they say the gap will form under normal circumstances. Don't really know if they're trained to service phones after getting such a response. Called customer care as well with escalation to supervisor, yet didn't get connected to the supervisor but was put on hold for a long time.

                              No response from LG after complaining here. Facing another problem with the dusk screen hinge as well. Not even one month into its use, it has started developing loose hinge on the bottom. This just shows the quality of hinge used!

                                I’ve bought a 55 inch tv on January 10th of 2021 at girias hosur. I’ve also bought a extended warranty for one year. On may 6th 2022 horizontal lines were flickering on my tv. Have contact lg support and sent a technician he said that panel was damaged and asked 30000 for replacement. Half the money of tv price. Have never expected such low class product from lg. I’ve extended warranty even . No proper response from the lg support team. Kindly replace the panel under extended warranty.

                                    I have purchased new 55 inch UHD LED TV in the month of April'22. The LED TV has manufacturing defects as the cracks got appeared just after 2~3 days of installation. Please help me, I have just spend more than 50K in purchasing this TV and that too on EMIs. I feel like cheated my hard earned money got wasted, I trusted huge brand name LG.

                                      New AC is installed on 7th May' 2022, it was purchased from Nirman electronics Surat . It wasn't cooling below 28 degree while checked during installation.
                                      For newt 3 days, lots of engineers visited and checked leakage, filled refrigerant, checked again for temp vs current vs gas pressure analysis. AC is not cooling below 25 degree after all the efforts. I am not getting clear response from the LG team and every time they suggest different approach saying it's a last try. it's a waste of time, money and mental harrasment to us. After all the trials has completed after which they were agreed for replacement, the service head again suggested to remove the refrigerant in open air and refilling (2nd time). As my 70 yrs old mother is cardiac and asthama patient, i wanted assurance that it should not be harmful to her health and my neighbours too. They denied to give such assurance and denied for ac replacement or payment back. There is no guarantee that after filling the gas again, AC will work properly.
                                      I feel like cheated. I don't trust this faulty AC anymore, if it will work for few years if they repair it now by any means.
                                      I request either my money back or replacement.

                                      It has been one week of installation. Now LG team has stopped receiving my phone calls. This is how customer service is!!
                                      Disgusting service by LG am also facing same issue gas leaked within a month after installation and stopped working completely. I wasted my money on LG product.
