For my LG TV 3D model 42LW6500 bought in july 2011 for Rs 80000/- I've made following complaints since 14th July 2015 "Complaint nos RNA[protected] RNA[protected] RNA[protected] RNA[protected] RNA[protected] RNA[protected] CNA[protected]"
LG service centre has informed that TV cannot be repaired as company has stopped mfg spare PCB and as per them their TV life is only 5 years, hence as a special case, they can replace with adjustment of amount Rs 28000. Also they requested not to make more complaints on 24 houe LG complaint line.
That means in 4 years, Rs.80000/- TV, which I was first to purchase in Haridwar in 2001, has to be returned for replaced LG TV (with adjustment of only Rs28000/-),
This is only because, first the TV will not work, secondly LG will not repair giving ridiculous excuse that they have stopped producing matching spares.
My question is why? LG never told while selling that life is only 5 years. . LG never told that technology is not yet established.
How can anyone have belief in LG product. Even today, LG is selling numbers of models with no warning that life is only 5 years.
Still hoping that LG will repair or offer better replacement offer, as it is their fault that they have stopped producing spares.
Better if offer is in cash/cheque as really afraid of LG product.
In my house I have home stereo, refrigerators-three, washing machine all LG.
