I purchased a 50 inch lg plasma tv (cost - rs 56600) from chroma. Now there is a problem with the tv and lg service centre has informed that the particular part ( display unit ) is not being manufactured. I am willing to pay the cost of the part ( rs 25000 with y & z board), however lg has come back to me, offering me rs 8400 as depriciated cost of the tv as a commercial solution. The compensation offered will not be cash but a discount that they will give on a new lg product. The tv has an expected life of 60000 hours, and it has not even completed 25000 hours yet. The concerned person is mr ajayan[protected] who has not reverted with any further solution on this. I purchased the tv on 7th july 2010 and have reported complaint to lg on 24th june 2015 which is within five years. My expected solution is a full cash refund which will enable me to buy a new tv of similar specification, as this tv could have lasted me atleast another five years if the part was made available by lg considering it is the most vital part of the tv.

I do not have a TV since June and the LG customer care has not done anything about it yet.
This week i should be through with all the documentation for filing a petition in the consumer court.

    For my LG TV 3D model 42LW6500 bought in july 2011 for Rs 80000/- I've made following complaints since 14th July 2015 "Complaint nos RNA[protected] RNA[protected] RNA[protected] RNA[protected] RNA[protected] RNA[protected] CNA[protected] LG service centre has informed that TV cannot be repaired as company has stopped mfg spare PCB and as per them their TV life is only 5 years, hence as a special case, they can replace with adjustment of amount Rs 28000. That means in 4 years, Rs.80000/- TV, which I was first to purchase in Haridwar in 2001, has to be returned for replaced LG TV (with adjustment of only Rs28000/-), This is only because, first the TV will not work, secondly LG will not repair giving ridiculous excuse that they have stopped producing matching spares. My question is why? LG never told while selling that life is only 5 years. . LG never told that technology is not yet established. How can anyone have belief in LG product. Even today, LG is selling numbers of models with no warning that life is only 5 years. Again request LG to offer better replacement offer, as it is their fault that they have stopped producing spares. Better if offer is in cash/cheque as really afraid of LG product. In my house I have home stereo, refrigerators-three, washing machine all LG.     Posting daily since 12 days... Without TV for now two months... when I possessed high end smart 3D TV !


    For my LG TV 3D model 42LW6500 bought in july 2011 for Rs 80000/- I've made following complaints since 14th July 2015 "Complaint nos RNA[protected] RNA[protected] RNA[protected] RNA[protected] RNA[protected] RNA[protected] CNA[protected]"


    LG service centre has informed that TV cannot be repaired as company has stopped mfg spare PCB and as per them their TV life is only 5 years, hence as a special case, they can replace with adjustment of amount Rs 28000. Also they requested not to make more complaints on 24 houe LG complaint line.


    That means in 4 years, Rs.80000/- TV, which I was first to purchase in Haridwar in 2001, has to be returned for replaced LG TV (with adjustment of only Rs28000/-),


    This is only because, first the TV will not work, secondly LG will not repair giving ridiculous excuse that they have stopped producing matching spares.


    My question is why? LG never told while selling that life is only 5 years. . LG never told that technology is not yet established.


    How can anyone have belief in LG product. Even today, LG is selling numbers of models with no warning that life is only 5 years.


    Still hoping that LG will repair or offer better replacement offer, as it is their fault that they have stopped producing spares.


    Better if offer is in cash/cheque as really afraid of LG product.


    In my house I have home stereo, refrigerators-three, washing machine all LG.

      Refund of AMC amout I will like to bring to your notice that I purchased one LED Television Model No.42LN549E from show-room namely Soft Vision Electronics, Sector 16 Market Faridabad vide invoice dated 28.1.2013, thereafter at the time of installation and demo through LG Electronics Pvt. Ltd., the concerned namely Umed Singh told me to get AMC of the product for four years. Following the same, I inadvertently took AMC vide receipt dated 30.11.2014 against one time payment of Rs.13, 038/-. The said AMC was given from 3.1.2015 up to 2.1.2018. However later on I received one letter from LG Electronics India Private Limited, 3rd Floor, Ninex City Mart, Sector 49, Sohna Road, Gurgaon where I was informed that the company itself is giving a warranty of three years from the date of purchase. Following the same set of events, the copy of the letter was sent to the company through your official namely Umed Singh. Thereafter time and again calls were made for confirming status for refund of my amount. In this regard, one Mr. Chauhan ([protected]) assured me that the matter has already been discussed and assured me that refund will soon be made. However it took me with the surprise when after a month Mr. Chauhan started misbehaving telling me that the letter has been misplaced and it will took time for processing the request. Despite several repeated requests, no action has been taken regarding the said refund and to the contrary the officials are misbehaving instead of giving a positive reply. Accordingly it is requested that the matter be resolved and repayment of the amount be made, else I will be constrained to initiate appropriate legal proceedings alongwith claim of damages.       I had taken AMC for LG AC and they never cared to come to service when we raised a complaint. i sent out emails to their high level escalation center but received no response. After 5 days of my complaint and when the machine was fixed by a local service person they sent some unathorised teamleaders who came as a team of 4 people as if going on a picnic without even a business card with them to prove that they are from LG and said that they were sorry. Their sorry looked like a group of teenagers going around for some donations. they behaved so unprofessional and had no clue of what is customer service as they did not have a clue about the complaint in the first place. never go for LG AMC as they cheat people.

        Lg customer care & service center people don’t respond promptly even if they do so they just visit but don’t respond, as it is a rule of Lg Electronics they have to act within 2 days of the complain lodged with customer care if they don’t visit our place we as consumer has to lodge a new complain again the process repeats the persons number which is forward to us does not respond our calls ever even the senior most person does not respond to the calls or massages forwarded to us which are sent by LG . I have numbers of the senior most persons of Lg customer care & service centerI have been complaining since 6 May 2015. REGARDS MUKESH FROM MUMBAI

        This is Nagesh, in Nov-2020 I purchased refrigerator, from the day I bought I'm facing some or the other problem, in 4 months I raised 8 times complaint and now the entire refrigerator not working, when I'm raising ticket they are closing the ticket without solving the issue, I don't know why they are closing without solving.and can you please tell me what kind of defective product is that in 4 times 8 repairs. Please sir try to solve this issue, take product back or please exchange that one.

            I bought a fridge (270 Lt.) from M/S Prabhat & co., chowk, varanasi. It's door was opening very tightly. on complaint a technician came from service centre and told me to pour boiling water over it & ur problem will be resolved but of no avail. after that I made many complaints to the co. as well as dealer too.               LG customer team came and worked upon our AC. Later same day I found the AC is still not working and I replied on their sms(which says reply with a number) if satisfied or not. I have replied many times with the number for dissatisfaction. They never reached me again. Somehow we managed and I also didn't call LG again in anger, I am managing with the same AC. Weather has also improved and I don't have much need. But to report this I am here mentioning my problem. I was very found of LG products and all electronics I have at home are LG products. However I am now very dissatisfied and believe it is my myth that LG provides best service.

                Dear Sir, I have sold an LG refrigerator Model GL-205XFDGS Sr. No. 210NRVN108159 From Prakash Music Centre Bairagarh Bhopal vide Bill No. 891 dt. 16.12.12. Due to some reasons the freezer box of this refrigerator has been damaged and gas leakage. I have called your Toll free No. and register my complaint in this regard. Your authorised service centre M/s. AARAJ ENTERPRISES BHOPAL has attend service and replace freezer box and charging of gas and he has given me a Bill of Rs. 2195/-. vide Bill No. 00134 Dt. 23.04.15, I have paid this bill to him. Last few days I feeling the refrigerator is not work properly and not chill. I have change the location of refrigerator but no result was found. I have contact the Service Centre but he told the 3 month warranty has expired & he has not committed to repair. I have complaint your Toll free No. and registered my complaint.                   I Purchased a brand new refrigerator from Pai Showroom, all the items will be rotten/spoiled in 2 to 3 days once stored in it. The Service center guys have come like 4 to 5 times each person will give different stories and unprofessional trained people. God no how LG company interview them and put them into the field service. I hope someone can help me on the same.

                    Problem: Refrigerator is not generating enough or no cooling at all and bad smell in refrigerator Background: I purchased LG Refrigerator (GL-D302RPJL) on 1st Jan 2015 from Shreeyash Electronics (G. O. Square, Kaspate Wasti, Mankar Chowk). I started noticing the problem since May and finally registered complaint (RNA[protected] on 28th July. This was fixed by technician on 8th Aug. Technician filled in gas and also soldered couple of joints. The problem got solved for next couple of days and it reappeared on 2nd Sept. We have raised another complaint on the same day as mentioned below. However there is no proper updates provided from LG customer care. I have called customer care couple of times and each time they said we have put reminder for technician to call back me. But I have not received any call as of yet. Complaint no. : RNA[protected] RNA[protected] LG being one of the leading consumer product in India, I was expecting a better service (than what I am experiencing) and complete produce replacement considering I have not used this more than 8 months since i got issue with this new product and this is second time I am having the same problem. Can you please escalate this and arrange for a call with an UPDATE?

                    There is no follow up done on this and my fridge has stopped working completely. Complaints are handled very poorly and although technical person clearly said that model is fault and either needs to be replaced or amount can be refunded there is no further action taken by LG authority.

                    This is not expected from leading company like LG.

                      I bought LG refigirator from model town vijay sales showroom. It was told to me that product will be delivered next day but the labour who came to deliver the product is asking for 1000 to deliver it else they get is back . I am really disappointed as I already paid full amount and these guys (sales guy: chandrakant at model town showroom) even not responding my calls. In this way they actually harassed there customer. Till now I might waiting for their response but nobody is responsible there to help me out.

                        The item under subject was purchased on 20-nov-2013. On 12th aug 2015 horizontal lines started appearing and on 14th aug the monitor completely blinked. The monitor is under warranty for 3 years by LG Electronics. I submitted my first complaint using toll free no.[protected] on 14th aug 2015. So far I have been given 4 complaint nos. The first two complaints were rejected giving flimsy reasons. My last complaint no. RNA[protected] was registered today. I have the phone nos. of the service centre in mumbai, no one attends to it. A technician came to the house a week ago, took all relevant info and told it would be resolved in 3-4 days. To day I spoke to call centre and I was told it is put on hold and one more complaint no. is given.

                        On 8th sep, with great difficulty could get in touch with one Ms. Depali Chavan mob no. [protected] (provided by LG call centre) . They are still searching for the spare parts where to get from? Looks like LG is insensitive. The service manager Mr. Sajan sayyed contact no. [protected] is never available on the hot seat. Most of the time when contacted, recorded msg says "Check your number".

                        After having given all the necessary info thru SMS and your techni coming and collecting from the residence, a panel with wrong part no. was brought by the same techni on Friday 11th. When he visited the house, I was for a minute surprised to how so quickly this can happen. This was only a drama and in 10 min he packed off saying this part is discontiued and cannot be repaired. LG Electronics does not believe in giving a service report to the customer so that any mistake on their part can be disowned or passed on. On Sunday 13th a lady from LG (ph[protected] called me the inquire whether my monitor is repaired. After telling her my story she said I will receive a call in 24 hrs. This is a standard answer from LG. To this date I have not received any call from LG. I think LG is interested in keeping the customer in the dark. If this keeps repeating I have no recourse but to approach the Consumer Court. Now for the last 35 days I am left without a monitor.

                        Even after 20 days LG Electronics is in the process of finding where the part could be available. If this is the style of service to the customers, can I say that LG Electronics is insensitive to the customer Grievance. Many a times their phones are switched off or get a message "check your number before dialing."., though the conversation was done thru the same number.

                          I have filed a repair request reqistered with the number RNA[protected] on 1st September 2015. I have called the service centre everyday from 1st Sep, but I'm yet to receive the service. I tried to upload a complaint through the Online Grievance Redressal system of LG, but it gives an error message, not able to upload.

                            Dear Who so ever is concerned, what kind of service is LG providing, pathetic responce and poor sevice for DOA cases. We brought the LED 42UB820T model TV with Serial no. 504PLTV038161 on 1st Sep'2015. The model you gave us is a failure model, still people from service centre (Priya from Chinchwad) are proudly saying it will take another 15 days to process replacement. Dealer ( Priyanka Electronics, Talegaon Dabhade, 410507) is not responding... WOW. LGs policy should be highlighted to the market. you are not making LIFE GOOD instead you are making LIFE HELL by cheating on customers. Provide immediate replacement or give us our hard earned money back. Else I will escalate this mail for such lethargic approach by you guys to the CEO . Never expected this kind of service from a Korean brand. Godrej being a desi brand has replacement policy of 1 day. Shame on you GUYS !!! Call me and update the status ASAP.                               I have purchased a LG 32 Inch LED TV on 14/12/2013 from LG Shoppe Korba (C. G.) of Rs. 26, 200/-. After exactly 1 year & 4 month later the TV has started getting Problem. firstly the picture get hanged while displaying & now the complete TV has been stopped displaying the picture. i have registered the complain the service engineer came & checked & told that the front panel of the TV has a problem rest of the circuit are OK. now the front panel is costing Rs. 13000/- + fitting & Service charges. so now what i should do because after purchasing the branded company TV & now invest Rs. 13000/- on repairing the TV. Kindly Suggest the appropriate soln. Regards,

                              I have already consulted the customer services but it doesn't suit me that after purchasing the LED TV of Rs. 26, 200/- and after 1year & four months later i have to again pay Rs. 13, 000/- + extra servicing + Fitting charges+ Service Tax(14%) for the front panel repairing.

                                We have Purchased two LED TVs on May 2013.within 2 months one TV Display had some Problem and Replaced by your Service Person.at that time itself i told them to take two TVs Right Away and Return Back our Company Due to inefficient Product though we paid 1lakhs hard earned Money.your Service Person told it wont Happen at all again and Denied to accept my Mistakes. Now My second Has some problems and i Called your LG([protected]) for service, they collected 900Rs to tell that our TVs Display has some issue and have to Pay Nearly 25k to resolve this issue. Please think in Customer Point of View who had a huge Trust on LG Product and Purchasing only LG Home Appliances in Which Two Nos TVs cost nearly 1 lakhs not working for more than 2 months and 25 months. Kindly Answer ASAP For this Issue .

                                  I had purchased a 42 TV from M/s Bismi appliances Thrissur on 27.8.15. ( 42LF553A) The sales man told that the product is having 24 months guarantee. On opening the box after reaching home i t is observed that it is having 12 months guarantee. in the mathrubhumi daily dt 17.8.15, the company has offered 24 months guarantee. so please have 24 months guarantee conformation or get the tv replaced. The tc not yet installed so far. I f not done I will take the matter with consumer court

                                    Dear sir/Madam, I mail is regarding problem face with my LG front loading washing machine. i purchase this machine one year back and now it is giving problem from last 2 months. problem is while washing process water is coming out from soap box. till date I logged 4 complaints. 1) RNA[protected] July 2015 2) RNA[protected] july 2015 ( not any respond for tech person) 3) RNA[protected] again call on 1 August 4) RNA[protected] Sept 2015 ( it already 48 hours but on respond from tech person and also service centre [protected] nobody pickup the call) since 17 july problem is started till date not solved and tech person is saying such problem is not possible in this machine so I request your team to help me for the same. if you need any other details please call me on [protected].

                                      i am from Trivandrum, Kerala.

                                      i have registered a complaint regarding repair of my LG Flatron TV on 25/08/15 with complaint ID RNA[protected]. The same day itself some idiotic service centre from trivandrum have accepted the complaint. I waited for 2 days and i ve got no intimation.

                                      On 28th again i made a call to toll free and asked about my complaint status. they replied as the complaint has been taken and you have to wait for the response. I intimated that its been 3rd day since i complained. I asked the shop number and hey gave it. and it is [protected].

                                      Then i called to the shop. They said that the technician will call you today itself.I waited and got no call.

                                      on 30th i called to the shop again and asked about status. They said the technician will contact you in half an hour. Waited and no call.

                                      On the same day i rang to toll free number. They said system was down and they ll call me in 3hrs. I asked some higher officials number so hat i can complain. I get one number and was [protected], again waited and no response.

                                      On 31st again same happened as previous.

                                      On 1st again called to shop. No response.

                                      On 4th i rang to toll free and quarrelled. They said system was down and they ll call me back in 3 hrs. I told them i dont want any reply call since 3-4 time they made fun of me. I asked for an official number to which i can complain. Got a number and it was [protected] - selvan. this time i talked with susane. and a floor manager.
                                      Nothing happened and selvan is not picking he call even once.

                                      I dont know what to do now. I am going for consumer court and i ll sue you all. Its been decided.

                                      i have all the call recordings. Its enough to prove me.

                                        Hi I bought this new refrigerator of your company a month ago andin the 1 week it wasnt cooling properly we had complaint about it and they had fix it but it did a poor service no use of it and now the freezer cover is broken by chance and now we have complaint about it regarding( EXCHANGE) because its been a month only and they clearly refuse it if this kind of product and services u give to your customer then ill not buy any of your product in future kindly do something otherwise I have to go to consumer forum.
