I am a retired D.O.T. staff and have availed concessional landline telephone[protected] facility since 1999 till 24th March 2012 at Thane, extended by D.O.T. vide order number 2-79/94 PHA Dated 25/09/1998.

Since i am shifting to Chennai I surrendered the telephone and got the services disconnected on 24/3/2012 vide their workorder number 915 dated 24/03/2012.

While the telephone was installed, I paid SECURITY DEPOSIT and the receipt number 30879 dated 19/5/1999 was received by me from CHARAI TELEPHONE EXCHANGE, THANE.

I approached the Charai exchange for the refund of security deposit on 24th March 2012. the simple rude reply was that the security deposit amount was already sent to me in 2000-01 by cheque but i have not received any such amount. I asked them to furnish the cheque number, date of dispatch, etc, but they utterly refused as they claimed that there is no record available with them BUT THE RECORD IN THEIR COMPUTER IS STILL SHOWING THAT SECURITY DEPOSIT OF RS. 3000 IS WITH THEM.

The reply itself was very harsh from the accounts department.

My contention is that either they make the payment or give details of the payment sent by them.

As i am a retired person, running from pillar to post is not feasible and the follow-up expenses will mount up.

Since i am leaving Mumbai in 10 days time and there is nobody to follow up in mumbai, I request you to get my security deposit asap.

Your intervention is highly solicited.

    Sir i got a broadband connection from mtnl delhi . my telephone no is 25052610 on which it was installed. I am suffering

    from connectivity problem since it it was installed. in spite of several requests to mtnl officials .problem was unsolved .due

    to all this I had to leave it before tree moths.but request and assurance given by the mtnl official to restore my connect-

    ion i agreed and restored the previous broadband .but the same connectivity problem ,I am facing twice. On 22.03.2012

    to attend my complaint, one mtnl official came to my home and suggested my wife to get it disconnect and get one from

    other broadband service provider.kindly do faviourably.

    This is with reference to complaints regarding broadband and landline telephone service provided by MTNL in Delhi. I Abhishek Aggarwal landline no.[protected] making regular complaints for landline as well as broadband connection but there are not doing anything instead saying talk to area manager as its upto him to solve your problem or not. Online complaint numbers are 95108 and 95111 dated 26 Sept 2010 and many complaints were registered with customer care services. Immediate action in this regard will be highly appreciable.

    I am Mahesh and I am using MTNL DSL plan 395 since last 8 months and my land line number is 25010724 and I am using MTNL landlineservice for last 12 years.And suddenly from last 3 weeks the internet is not working and I am an IT student and I need internet for my projects..and when I called them and told them that the internet is not working and they said that they will check it and the problem was not resolved after 2 days so i called them everyday for the next 2 weeks because the connection was not consistent and it use to work for 10 minutes and later was getting disconnected and that went on for a month and after that they used to call me every alternate day and check and they said that they will send the technician but they never send anybody and i kept on complaining and they did nothing and no one came till today and i also complained for the download speed and they said that my plan is 320 kbps and i should get 40 kbps as the download speed so i told them that i know it but the speed is not even close to 40..whenever i am trying to download anything i only get the maximum speed of 32 kbps and they said that they have already checked it from their side and there is no problem and as i am also working it thought of discontinue the service but i didnt get any time.but i want to say that many people say that mtnl is good but i wont agree to that.they might not have faced any situation where they had to talk to the customer care.
    mtnl is not good.i am really frustrated and very upset with the service and i would not recommend mtnl to any one whom i know.u guys are pathetic and also u guys only know how to loot the customers and make profit of everything and i also hope that the company shuts down and u go in losses and u dont have any customers.If i dont pay one month bill us will come on the next day and disconnect and why the hell you take 1000 Rs as deposit from the customer who is using your service from the last 12-13 years and also i have paid the bills regularly..if you doubt that you can check the records..
    I am really angry and i dont know what to do now..but i think i will disconnect the service both internet and land line as soon as possible..
    and probably opt for the cable because in he same amount he is ready to give me 3 times the speed and hopefully more services than you losers..
    My mtnl landline has been dead since last 6 months almost now and also my broadband is not working since last 6 months. I have made several complaints to MTNL office but there has been no help. They have been continuously charging me the bill for no service being provided. Please Help.

      Every night my net keeps getting disconnected for the last 2 weeks! Its frustrating because whenever I call the toll free line they say they cant do anything, and only in the morning can people come and check the line. What is more frustrating is that the net doesn't work only in the night and hence there has been no solution to the problem. I have lost a lot of time and money behind this nonsense of MTNL
      same here, i pay Rs 1054 pm to MTNL, it used to work fine. But now since last 3 weeks, even fatre complainig many times. It keeps getting disconnected after every 5 to 2mins

        i have a HDFC Bank ATM {pune}. 24-june i w/d from state bank of indore{m.p.}. But that 10, 000/- w/d drop back into the ATM machine . Both bank now telling me your withdrawal was succesful and he can, t do any thing. plz help me

            my name is vineet sharma. me apne mtnl number 26425329 per broadband service use kar raha tha jise disconnect karvane ke liye or 180 plan activate karvane ke liye mene November 2011 me 1500 per complaint kari thi or 1500 per mujhe bataya gaya tha ki apki service disconnect kar di gayi hai or 180 plan apke number per activate kar diya hai per January 2012 me mene mtnl bill receive kiya jisme broadband charges lage hue the mene 1500 per dubara call kari unhone kaha ki aap iske liye Nehru place jao or waha per baat karo. me 24 jan 2012 ko nehru place gaya or unse apne bill ke baare me pucha to unhone kaha ki apki service abhi tak deactivate nahi hui hai. aap hume return me likh kar de de or apne instrument submit karva de to apki service hum deactivate kar denge. mene 30 jan 2012 ko instrument submit karva ke disconnection ki complaint written me de di thi. ab mtnl walo ne mere number se outgoing band kar de hai mene nehru place ke AGM Ravinder kumar se meeting bhi kari thi per unhone kaha ki aap 1500 per he baat karo iske baare me mujhe nahi pata. mene apne area ke broadband incharge mr.               I have taken MTNL Broadband from MTNL way back more than 2 years now.
              Now they have raised a bill for Installation Charge for Oct 10. of Rs 300 Additional, Saying they had forgot.

              I have paid bill till dated, what ever the charges where there time to time.
              Now they have charged for additional modem cost, which I would not pay...as I remember paying all payment as per schemes , @ that time. Now I dont even have so back dated bill & nor the proof of the schemes to fight this.

              I know that they have a rasied a bill for oct,10 in jan,12 its more than 15month for this (one Finicial year passed). I would not pay this bill.

              I would like to launch the formal legal complain against MTNL , Mulund,Mumbai. for same..any guideline for same.

                and now this process has 13 days Days passed, and after communicating Vodafone through mail, he sent me reply that that my request for MNP has been rejected from my previous service provider.

                  Sub.: Surrendered 22027353 & 22027774. NO REFUND YET still after THREE months

                  We have surrendered our both the MTNL (Mumbai) telephones on 18/11/12 ie over THREE months back.
                  The lines were disconnected in two days but the refund of our deposits with interest haven’t yet been sent by MTNL.
                  THREE months delay is a substantial delay and amounts to DEFICIENCY & PURPOSEFUL HARASSMENT on MTNL part.
                  We have contacted MTNL authorities & their grievance section several times' but they have failed to take any action in the matter.

                    Inspite of several complaints upto to ed level there is no action been taken.

                    We wanted MTNL broadband connection with RDNS entry which was promised to us but they were not able to provide it & found some excuse out of it. We had to finally get the same from airtel which we got it in a weeks time. But mtnl billed us for 3 months the broadband charges. We had sent mail to ed of mtnl but no action so far taken.
                    my iptv no 27048992 did not work properly last month for one week at a stretch.when we asked for rebate this month they did not recharged but have suspended service since last three days.inspite of calling so many times no one is listening.please re store my services .

                      my self vineet sharma. I am using my MTNL number 26425329 from last 8-9 year's. I had complaint on mtnl Customer care number for disconnecting the broadband service from my number and want to activate 180 plan in my number. I had call on mtnl Customer care number 1500 for disconnection on November 2011. they had been committed me that your service will be deactivated and 180 plan will be activated into your number from our side and given me the complaint number 64200143. but in January 2012 i have receive the bill which is included a broadband charges. I had again call to mtnl customer care number 1500 and ask why the broadband charges added in my bill. They told me that your service will not be disconnected and running continue. they told me that you just go to Nehru place and ask to him that why the charges added in your bill. Then i go Nehru place and met with Mr. Rathi. He is a in-charge of mtnl broadband service in nehru place. He told me that you just given the application their and we disconnected your service from our side. i had given the application and submitted modem in Nehru place. but now i check that the service will not be disconnected. i also met with Nehru place AGM Mr. Ravinder Kumar but he told me that 1500 service is not in my under work so contact to 1500 or Mr. Rathi. I don't use the broadband service after given the complaint then why i am pay this bill. now they were disconnect my mtnl number. so i request you to please help me for disconnecting the broadband service into my number and weaver in my December and January bill because this mistake is done from mtnl customer side and i have given the complaint and not using this service after given the complaint.

                          This is to inform you that my name is Neeraj Verma using MTNL services from last 5 to 6 years but i never faced that kind of issue in past My MTNL no is - [protected] Connection named on Mr. Nanak Chand Verma Billing address is : - 361/21, Madan Puri, Lane no- 6, Near- Patodi Chowk, Gurgaon, 122001 (Haryana). This is so embarrassing that I am not getting my bills from last 9 to 10 month's, the thing is that if i want my bill's then i have to visit SANCHAR HAAT The address is : - Opp Telephone Exchange,Sec-12, Gurgaon - 122001 but the main concern is that from last 7 to 8 month's i m getting wrong bill's from sanchar haat. I personally went to SANCHAR HAAT but they always said that please pay the due's or further query we are attending u shortly but no one taking care of my number. Last time i told them that if you not describe my bill's then i am not go to pay even Rs 1/-. Due to non-receiving of bill i had made regular communication to mtnl Company but nobody turns up, this is ethical duty to understand the problem of Customer and rectify the same within time frame as mentioned in your standard code of conduct.

                          they disconnect my MTNL no without intimation this is again ethical duty to give regular services to customer for everything.

                          Now again this is my humble request to you to take appropriate action without any delay, i had suffered a lot due to outgoing facility stopped without intimation, i am not able to communicate my relatives, my family, office and other urgent communications, suffered a lot due to MTNL non-ethical attitude.

                            Last year in Oct'2010 i was shifted from Delhi to Mumbai and after this i had called to dolphine customer care 1503 please disconnect or suspend my number as i was shifted from Delhi to Mumbai and send me the final bill so that i could have arrange to make the payment. But as per customer care representative i have to submitted this sim card phyically to MTNL office and give the request for disconnection and we could not help you in this regard and also during asking to intraction number/Request number they have denied to provide me.

                            Further as on date this card is not suspended and month by month my mobile amount is increasing. So requesting you to please help us to short out this issue and in this period i was not visited Delhi else i will fullfill his requirement.

                            Please help me on this.

                              Dear Sir / Ma'am,

                              I, Mohit Maheshwari, staying in Orlem (comes under Kandivali West Tel. Ex.), having MTNL Landline No.[protected]CA Number: [protected]).

                              This is to bring you in notice that I have been experiencing a very tough time with their services. I got Landline for use of internet. But unfortunately, most of the times, there is no ADSL signal on modem. I have repeatedly booked complaint online (3806, 3921 - Old | 3219, 1468 and 6805 - New) but as soon as representative comes, the internet works fine and is crashed again in few hours.

                              I had paid all my dues well on time till now (the service which hasn't been used mostly). The internet was installed on 19th of Feb 2011. This issue is holding many urgent and critical actions for which I needed internet line.

                              I have tried calling on Grievance numbers but I think there should be a Grievance redressal system to handle that as well, since no one attends call on Kandivali Numbers: 28050111, 28017500. Also tried number of Mr. D. R. Gupta (General Manager - West III) which is given as 28012345. This was also not answered.

                              This is really unfortunate and unprofessional behaviour. I am tired of paying more than 800 Rs. per month for 512 unlimited plan, where I can opt for any other service which gives better speed, performance and value for money. I would like to take this matter legally and have my duly paid amount reversed. Please help me in taking action against MTNL.

                                I R K chahal, using prepaid dolphin trump mobile service-MTNL (mobile no:[protected]) want to file complaint regarding the unnecessary deduction of balance of my mobile by MTNL in the name of some music station sevice. I never subscribed for this music station service but they have been deducting my balance sine last 6 months in different denomination (30, 10).I called customer care many times but of no use.So sir please look into the matter. Kindly unsubscribe all services and stop deducting my balance.

                                MTNL — deduction amount from trump mobile balance

                                Dear Sir,

                                My mobail no is [protected], from this mobail they deact wrong amount from my balance. for SMS and caller tune i try to complint at list 20 to 25 times on call center but i get only one ansur " hamara system update nahi hai. Aap thody der bad nahi to 2 hour ke baad phone kare" but i try to give complite 2 or 3 days but same ansur. every time and not call back come. please help me out from this problem.

                                I Shakuntla Dhanda, using prepaid dolphin trump mobile service-MTNL (mobile no: [protected]) want to file complaint regarding the unnecessary deduction of balance of my mobile by MTNL .I dont know any services active in my mobile or not . Rs 5 unnecessary deduction . I never subscribed for any service service but they have been deducting my balance since many months . I called customer care many times but of no use.So sir please look into the matter. Kindly unsubscribe all services and stop deducting my balance.

                                The amount has been deducted automatically for the services those I never ever subscribed for.
                                I have tried many time to unsubscribe the same but no solution has I get. Therefore I request you that kindly unsubscribed the unnecessary services which are automatically subscribed and stop deducted the amount please.

                                  I am a MTNL Dolphin User. I have been using MTNL 3G services since 2 years now. I have been using unlimited 1650 p/m plan for about 1 year. But recently a week ago the network stopped giving me 3G speeds. Other than that the network disconnections are so frequent that it makes the use of internet impossible. I have checked, reinstalled my APN setting thoroughly and also reinstalled my mobile software. I have also changed the sim to another mobile also. I am using one more MTNL 3G number, same problem is faced in it. I believe there is problem with 3G network in my area. I have made complaints on 1503 regarding the same but I end up getting the same replies. i.e. call 23627494. I have been trying that number since 2 days now, but this number has no response at all. Just after calling this number call is dropping. Please look into the matter because I have paid a lot of hard earned money to MTNL for that matter and all my money is going to drain. I have decided to wait a month after that I will change my numbers from MTNL to any other carrier.

                                    I am having a land line connection of MTNL, having No.[protected] and using Tariff Plan "TriB Bphone Combo P".The Bill for 01/12/2011 to 31/12/2011 was received by me yesterday (i.e.on 23/01/2012) and surprised seeing the bill amount of Rs.13206.00 usually I get a bill of around Rs.600.00 or so. I fail to understand how the said bill is raised. In this regard I liked to mention here that in the last week of December, 2011 we got a phone call from the customer care executive informing us that there was a bill of Rs.16888.00, and advised us to call back on the phone No. 23322622. Accordingly I rang them, and I also made a complain on this website ([protected]@bol.net.in). subsequently, we received a phone call from the customer care executive, who informed us that it was a mistake and my bill will be around Rs.600.00
                                    only.But I received no communications from the website.([protected]@bol.net.in). Please let me know what is the matter, and my bill be rectified at the earliest, so that I can clear the bill on/before the due date (i.e.04.02.2012).

                                      landline telephone is not working from the last 15 days. I have lodged the complaint on 198 two-three times but unfortunately my complaint has not been rectified till now. My son is more sufferer for the failure of the MTNL service because he has applied on line for a job in so many companies. From the last 15 days he is totally untouched with the internet service of the MTNL. My son is B.Tech and trying to get the job and for this the internet service is the main source and only for this purpose I provide this facility to my son. So, it is my humble request to help me in solving this problem.

                                      Greetings !!

                                      I am sending this mail in orderr to inform you that i have been complaining since last 4 months as i am not getting my internet service properly, same has already been highlighted to the customer care & other officials personallly, however not getting any kind of satisfactory solution.

                                      Funniest part is lineman says we do not have wire to change, i am ready to pay for the wire on my own but at least they should bother to visit.

                                      Moreover customer care is amazing they doesn't even know how to talk. i am amazed to see such a response need some professional training on urgent basis there is no point o[censored]sing a tag line says "DELHI KI JEEVAN REKHA"

                                      Being a brand name MTNL i hope to have some smooth services, i am using service since last 2 years and you can check my records of payment and all even i m not getiing bills since last 6 months.

                                      Kindly acknowledge and intervene.

                                        I have been using mtnl broadband since long time. Due to unavoidable reason its not working now. In spite of regular complaints there is no response.
                                        My internet is off since 2 months. My Landline number is[protected]. Andheri (east). Jeevan Vikas Kendra marg.
                                        MTNL is a sister concern company of BSNL and comes under Central Govt... The customer base of MTNL is nearly 5.92 million. And from past few years the graph is going down even if the Indian Govt. is spending too much of huge amount to uplift the customer base, but still the graph is going down and the main reason is their “GREAT SERVICES”. The MTNL lineman don’t have enough idea to configure even a modem and to solve a single complaint they take nearly 1 month or more because the don’t have enough workforce and the coverage area is very big. And when you see the MTNL exchange you become shocked to see their exchange, made of HUWIA equipments, and when you see the AIRTEL exchange you will find Ericson equipments just because the cost of HUWAI equipments are nearly half then Ericson. I have also file a complaint with Consumer Court and its being more than a Year ( http://www.consumercourt.in/broadband/1-mtnl-broadband.html ) but I know all the Govt. agency are same.
                                        Basically they have two type of exchange one is for 256 Kbps and one for above 256Kbps, if you buy plan for above 256 then you may get good response because for that only they use Ericson exchange.
                                        I don’t know why the Govt. change the plan to get more customer and spend a huge amount in ads, the salary of lineman is nearly 15000/-, I think this is a total waste. Customers are very much frustrated from MTNL. If you visit the MTNL exchange you will find many customers shouting on the Area Manager. MY personal experience with MTNL was pathetic and now I switched to another services provider and now I am very much satisfied.
