Hello,

I have been using the services of MTNL Delhi (Telephone & Internet). Since I took the MTNL connection I have been facing issues with the internet connectivity (as well as speed) where the internet connection drips constantly and I am unable to use the internet. Even if the internet connection is working it only stays good for 10 minutes with a very low speed. I have raise the issue with the call centre dialing 1504 from the Mtnl landline and also talked with various authorities but the issue is still there.

I want to raise this complaint to the higher authority as Mtnl have been paying a deaf ear to all my complaints and I have to pay the entire amount of the internet charges though i barely get to use the internet when required.

Hoping to get a positive response asap and a resolution to the issue as well.

    I s.k.choubey Recharge my mobile no. [protected] on line dated [protected] of Rs. 750 and Rs. 100. at 19.00 Hrs. both recharge fail and money deducted from my credit card. this amount not refunded till dated.
    Also on[protected] MTNL has deduct Rs 130 approx. Without any Jenine reasons and make my balance 00.00.
    kindly , take proper action against this service provider.

    MTNL — recharge money not refunded

    I did the online recharge through MTNL website and it was unsuccessful, so pop up showed that you money will shortly refunded to you. But till date i haven't received any money. I raised a complaint with MTNL call center but no revert.

      I had made the following complaints through your web site and still MTNL Broadband people are sleeping ( complaint made to MTNL with Docket Nos are 4287 dated 24/04/2012 , 9503 dated 26/04/2012 and 4715 dated 30/04/12 yet the thick skinned MTNL PEOPLE ARE SLEEPING):-

      MTNL Broadband Rascals
      I HAVE MISTAKENLY TAKEN MTNL BROADBAND CONNECTION WITH WI FI . HALF THE TIME IT REMAINS OUT OF ORDER FOR WEEKS. WHEN COMPLAINTS ARE REGISTERED NO ONE BOTHERS. AS A RESULT I HAVE TAKEN ANOTHER TATA PHOTON CONNECTION. MTNL SERVICE PEOPLE SHOULD BE LINED UP AND SHOT DEAD, AS THEY DO IN CHINA.

      RECENT EXAMPLE IS MY COMPLAINT DOCKET NO.4287 REGISTERED FOR MY BROADBAND NO.23644061 ON 24/4/12. EVEN AFTER SENDING REPEATED REMINDERS ON 198 THERE IS NO RESPONSE. WITH THEIR FALSE LOW TERRIF RATES THEY TRAP CUSTOMERS INCLUDING EVEN MANY GOVT DEPARTMENTS AND THEN SEAL THEIR FATE IN DARK GAS CHAMBERS.

        Hi, I took the MTNL broadband connection with Landline on 25th April 2012. I am facing problem with both Landline and Internet since I got the connection. I requested for MTNL broadband plan "Freedom 645 combo" which has 2 mbps speed upto 4GB and 512 kbps beyond 4GB but I am not getting more than 512kbps speed from the starting. Also there is a problem with the Landline, it was working only the first day I got the connection but from the second day onwards its gone dead. I talked to the MTNL Lineman, he explained me some technical issue with the connection and also said that he forwarded the complaint to his officials. I also talked to the officials, they are saying that they are not sure how much time it will take to resolve the problem. I am totally frustrated now don't know what to do.

        This is to bring to your notice about my phone Dead. My name is Amit Kumar Dass and my telephone no. is[protected] and I am residing in A-20, Chanakya Place Part-1, Street No.-15, New Delhi-110059.Sir my telephone is dead from 06th July to till now. Sir here I am doing to complaints about the Dabri MTNL ext.Sir I am facing lots of problem from dabri Ext. I have complained many a times to concerned official and also to customer care department Also your employee did not give me any reply even they did not picked-up my phone.MTNL dabri ext. SDO Name is yadav, he has mobile no.[protected] and DEOD name is Aggarwal, he has a mobile [protected].I called to both of them, Since 06th July 2012 up to now Mr. Yadav he didn’t pick my phone and after I call to Mr. Aggarwal (Deod) Once he picked my phone they did not give me satisfactory answer. Every time he says we cannot do anything every day some thefter’s are stolen our cable and I don’t know what is exact area and we do not have any educated line-man and employee also I cannot fire him, even I cannot transfer to other place. When they found fault then we will rectify your problem. Even he says to me do what you want if you want remove my jobs you do, if you have power you use. I don’t mind. I can’t do anything your problem.2 times I mailed to GM Janak puri, District centre, New Delhi. Also he did not reply me now. Three (3) times dead my telephone. When my phone is dead I mailed & inform him to (DeoD) Mr. Aggarwal, Sir now again my telephone is dead. He says to me I need to take time to checking for fault and every time he said our cable is stolen or MCD they cut our cable. Anybody no inform me where is cable fault or we don’t have well-educated employee & they are getting salary INR[protected].I can’t do anything. Even when I took this connection one bill I received after I am not receiving any kinds of telephone bill I don’t know how much I have to pay. I complaint regarding bill also he said to me, we send subscriber bills to line man after I can’t do anything. Our line man they are sending to you bill or not I don’t have a proof. If he not sending to you bill I can’t help any more. Sir I am asking to you why your appoint to bad behavior’s employee they cannot do anything they want only money. My money is not wasted money. My money is hardworking money I know how I to get one (1) rupees. You remove them whose not take care of subscriber. You know if are taking your service then you got salary. If we don’t take your connections how you get a salary tell me. Now finally I am complaining to you kindly take him action otherwise I will file to RTI and Consumer court. Sir I need to reply from your side within a week if also you did not reply me. I will file to RTI with Consumer court regarding this matter.

          Distance Telecom is Fraud Company - They have taken money from me for 2 # of Broadband / Phone . Its being more than a Month and no information of connection yet . They Do False Promises . and no body is traceable in office or phones .

          MTNL is part of this Fraud company and Directors and Promoters of MTNL and Distance Telecom should be Jailed and Punished

          Consumer Court and Forum of India should take some action

                Hello,

                I have been using the services of Mtnl Mumbai (Telephone & Internet) for quite some time. However for the past year I have been facing issues with the internet connectivity where the internet connection drips constantly and I am unable to use the internet. Even if the internet connection is working it only stays good for 10 minutes after which the modem does not have the connectivity light of PPPoE. I have raise the issue with the call centre dialing 1504 from the Mtnl landline, however they do not address the internet problem, also hang up on during the conversation without any redressal. Insipte of repeated call and complaints if the internet connection resumes, it lasts only for a day or two. I have change the internet plans for better speed with higher tariff amount to get rid of the constant internet problem, however I am still facing the same issue without any good services. The call centre employees for Mtnl Mumbai are completely helpless and non co-operative in troubleshooting the connectivity problem.

                I want to raise this complaint to the higher authority as Mtnl have been paying a deaf ear to all my complaints and I have to pay the entire amount of the internet charges though i barely get to use the internet when required.

                Hoping to get a positive response asap and a resolution to the issue as well.

                i have already use mtnl broad band last 7 months but i am given many times complaint that internet not working properly last 5 months but ur side not positive response i request to u please solve my problem

                i m user of mtnl broad band, my telephone no is[protected], i have problem with broad band since last 10 days, some time working some time not. my wireless internet is also not working from 10 days, i was complaint about it in mtnl office and call centre many times but problem is not solved till now
                Hello,

                My Name is Shishir Kumar and I live in New Delhi.

                MTNL is worthless and it does not even bother to listen to their customers.

                I have applied for a new broad band connection on 23rd January 2013 and till now it has not been installed at my residence.

                I am frustrated as I have called several times to different MTNL officers and have not received any positive response from either of the below mentioned numbers. Moreover, everyone was very rude over the phone as I did a mistake calling them.

                I would like to mention that Mr. Jainuddin had visited my residence for documents collection and had already collected an amount of Rs. 500 from me. I was assured that the connection would be installed in 03 working days.

                Now, I am so frustrated that I do not want a connection any more and I want my money back. But, and I believe it will not be refunded as no one listen in MTNL. ( I wonder If I go asking for my money, how will they treat me. Once again, I will be asked to go here and there).

                However, I would like anyone to look into this department so that no other customer gets harassed as I have been done.

                Please, please, please someone take immediate action.

Last time I made complaint and the complaint no.1082, without any solution the complaint made not counted and I again made compalaint on 27.11.2013 under complaint no.9 still there is no response and I talked in the phone23356666 and got complaint number 727 but not yet got dial tone in my landline phone. Kindly rectify immediately as it is longtime taken by you.

                    it has been a long time i have been complaining for this degraded internet service which gets disconnected every other second, i have gone through mental harasment while complaining several times at this number 1504 which is always found busy , when you can send your bills on time then why not service, this the last time i m complaining formally next time i will straightly send u a notice via the consumer court. So, you plez either improve your service or close this bloody company, such poor services will not be tolerated we are customers but not fools and neither the we wish to be the victims of this worst internet providing brand..hope u will take my complain seriously . otherwise i will get this bloody internet out of service. m a resident of delhi my no.[protected]. i want a reply soon

                      Please help wat to do with this mtnl guys, my balance unnecessary deducted and when I called to mtnl mumbai customer care then don't responce properly and not listen my complain, I also complain 5 to 6 time on online portal of mtnlmumbai.In but no responce, I don't know why this side is made for. They are totaly government and not feeling any guilty I call them and mtnl call center ladies gossiping putting the call on hold unnecessarily. And most of the time they just hang up..!!

While the internet service is running properly, telephone services has not been working since the installation.I have complained many times to the local enquiry and have also written to the regional office at Nehru Place. But so far, no corrective action has been taken. Therefore, at last, I am compelled to write to your good office. You are requested to kindly take necessary action in this regard.

                          Kindly refer to my new complaint ( no:3055) and following old complaint. It seams your technician is not having any knowledge. He is attending faults of others and disturbing lines of we users. Around 3 days back,to repair fault of Shri Pille, he attended nearby junction/distribution box and again disturbed my line[protected]. Since junction box / distribution box is close to my door, Immediately I reported him about the problem. He accepted to restore the line but failed to do so. When I inquired to Shri Pille about repair of his lines, He informed that he is having two lines. your technician repaired faulty line and disturbed another line. Even after my above complaint, no expert technician attended he fault. you are requested to do the needful in this regards.

                          This has reference to my complaint ( complaint no 7976) dated 31.3.2012.
                          On Saturday i.e. 31.3.2012 your technician attended our premises to
                          repair somebody's telephone line. While repairing he dis-connected my
                          line bearing no 25278853 and connected line of Shri Tyagaraju bearing
                          no 25287383. I dont know status of my line i.e. where he connected my
                          line. We both are using this landline predominantly for internet
                          purposes and in such scenario, neither I am able to use my line nor
                          Tyagaraju is able to use the necessary facility. Till this time no
                          action is initiated from your side. You are requested to restore the
                          connection of we both the user at the earliest.

                              I had made prepaid trump recharge payment of Rs 125 on 25.2.2012 .The payment was done online through icicibank .the payment id was[protected] . A/c no[protected] was debited. However , i did not get the refill nor the refund. The payment detail shows biller detail as 'Prepaid Mobile recharge'Euronet Worldwide india pvt ltd, bandra.You are requested to track my payment and refund the money to me as early as possible.

                                I had a telephone with the number – 25478048 allotted to my name – virender singh. The address for the premise is as mentioned: house no- 24,village kirari,post office- nangloi, delhi.

                                From the last three weeks there is no dial tone in the phone and after repeated complaints and follow-ups the end result is nil. The last docket number I received is 1777.

                                I want to highlight few points here about a customer chasing to get the service for which he is paying price without the service.

                                1. At-least once in a month my broadband services went down and the chase begin.

                                2. Most of the numbers mentioned on the website (http:/Mtnldelhi.In/Dolphin/Index.Php/Customer-care/Public-grievance) are non-functional or the concerned authorities are not paying any heed to pick up the calls. For this specific instance, I had tried all these numbers – gm(west) sh. Kamlesh kumar[protected],[protected], sh. K.S. Martolia, agm(pg[protected],[protected], sh. Pankaj sharma, sde(pg[protected],[protected]

                                3. Out of the two numbers mentioned for public grievances, only one is working –[protected]not working[protected] and the lady attending this number is enjoying the hospitality of mtnl, delhi on public money. She being very rude and without listening to the complaint, just provide the complaint number (which is b170)

                                4. The lineman in my areas is also a big dickhead (sorry for using this word but I can’t find more suitable word than this one to describe him). I am chasing this for last few weeks but he escapes on one or other pretext.

                                Is it so hard for this department to restore the critical services like telecommunications even after couple of weeks?

                                this shows how inefficient and insensitive this department is? it seems as if this department is being run by monkeys high on liquor.

                                When ever am trying to connect its showing no dail tone, for last 1 months, so when i tried to reinstall the same, its asking for username & password that i dont have.. pls help

                                  I have made online recharge on 28.03.2012 for my MTNL Mobile Number with Rs. 200/-. Now 5 days have been lapsed but the recharge is not yet made by MTNL Delhi. My SBI Account is debited (Mobile No. [protected] transaction ID No. [protected]. Still I have not receive any recharge or Rs. 200/- back. Request you to kindly recover my Rs. 200/- from MTNL. Regards.
                                  I not satisfactory from Dolphin online pre paid mobile service.

                                    My MTNL 24323389 Broad Band Connection facing problum since a long.
                                    At least for last 3-4 months constant complaints on 1504 IVRS, Assited, Online, call to line man, SDO etc are made but yeild no results.

                                    Even my mails to [protected]@bol.net.in (SDE-ADSL) on 6-March 2012 with no results. Also a reminder on 27 Mar-2012.

                                    I feel no option of carriying on this burdon any long and insist MTNL to refund the cost of service paid by me due to department negligence in the past 6 months atleast depending on the usage destruptions available on their server log. Let be MTNL select to panalise one of the official for the negligence.

                                    Since the Aug 2009, offen facing the connectivity issue. Only due to this connectivity issue I had surrendered a connection of IPTV with MTNL also.
                                    ADSL is not static.
                                    sir my telephone no 27861598 has static ip which has been changed so please change it to the previous

                                      I am a retired D.O.T. staff and have availed concessional landline telephone[protected] facility since 1999 till 24th March 2012 at Thane, extended by D.O.T. vide order number 2-79/94 PHA Dated 25/09/1998.

                                      Since i am shifting to Chennai I surrendered the telephone and got the services disconnected on 24/3/2012 vide their workorder number 915 dated 24/03/2012.

                                      While the telephone was installed, I paid SECURITY DEPOSIT and the receipt number 30879 dated 19/5/1999 was received by me from CHARAI TELEPHONE EXCHANGE, THANE.

                                      I approached the Charai exchange for the refund of security deposit on 24th March 2012. the simple rude reply was that the security deposit amount was already sent to me in 2000-01 by cheque but i have not received any such amount. I asked them to furnish the cheque number, date of dispatch, etc, but they utterly refused as they claimed that there is no record available with them BUT THE RECORD IN THEIR COMPUTER IS STILL SHOWING THAT SECURITY DEPOSIT OF RS. 3000 IS WITH THEM.

                                      The reply itself was very harsh from the accounts department.

                                      My contention is that either they make the payment or give details of the payment sent by them.

                                      As i am a retired person, running from pillar to post is not feasible and the follow-up expenses will mount up.

                                      Since i am leaving Mumbai in 10 days time and there is nobody to follow up in mumbai, I request you to get my security deposit asap.

                                      Your intervention is highly solicited.

                                        Sir i got a broadband connection from mtnl delhi . my telephone no is 25052610 on which it was installed. I am suffering

                                        from connectivity problem since it it was installed. in spite of several requests to mtnl officials .problem was unsolved .due

                                        to all this I had to leave it before tree moths.but request and assurance given by the mtnl official to restore my connect-

                                        ion i agreed and restored the previous broadband .but the same connectivity problem ,I am facing twice. On 22.03.2012

                                        to attend my complaint, one mtnl official came to my home and suggested my wife to get it disconnect and get one from

                                        other broadband service provider.kindly do faviourably.

                                        This is with reference to complaints regarding broadband and landline telephone service provided by MTNL in Delhi. I Abhishek Aggarwal landline no.[protected] making regular complaints for landline as well as broadband connection but there are not doing anything instead saying talk to area manager as its upto him to solve your problem or not. Online complaint numbers are 95108 and 95111 dated 26 Sept 2010 and many complaints were registered with customer care services. Immediate action in this regard will be highly appreciable.

                                        I am Mahesh and I am using MTNL DSL plan 395 since last 8 months and my land line number is 25010724 and I am using MTNL landlineservice for last 12 years.And suddenly from last 3 weeks the internet is not working and I am an IT student and I need internet for my projects..and when I called them and told them that the internet is not working and they said that they will check it and the problem was not resolved after 2 days so i called them everyday for the next 2 weeks because the connection was not consistent and it use to work for 10 minutes and later was getting disconnected and that went on for a month and after that they used to call me every alternate day and check and they said that they will send the technician but they never send anybody and i kept on complaining and they did nothing and no one came till today and i also complained for the download speed and they said that my plan is 320 kbps and i should get 40 kbps as the download speed so i told them that i know it but the speed is not even close to 40..whenever i am trying to download anything i only get the maximum speed of 32 kbps and they said that they have already checked it from their side and there is no problem and as i am also working it thought of discontinue the service but i didnt get any time.but i want to say that many people say that mtnl is good but i wont agree to that.they might not have faced any situation where they had to talk to the customer care.
                                        mtnl is not good.i am really frustrated and very upset with the service and i would not recommend mtnl to any one whom i know.u guys are pathetic and also u guys only know how to loot the customers and make profit of everything and i also hope that the company shuts down and u go in losses and u dont have any customers.If i dont pay one month bill us will come on the next day and disconnect and why the hell you take 1000 Rs as deposit from the customer who is using your service from the last 12-13 years and also i have paid the bills regularly..if you doubt that you can check the records..
                                        I am really angry and i dont know what to do now..but i think i will disconnect the service both internet and land line as soon as possible..
                                        and probably opt for the cable because in he same amount he is ready to give me 3 times the speed and hopefully more services than you losers..
                                        My mtnl landline has been dead since last 6 months almost now and also my broadband is not working since last 6 months. I have made several complaints to MTNL office but there has been no help. They have been continuously charging me the bill for no service being provided. Please Help.
