In Tilak Nagar ,Subhash nagar ,Ashok Nagar area ,the Dolphin and Trump Customers are facing network problem sice 2 months
We are unable to use our Dolphin or Trump mobiles in this area
Most of the Times there is reply OUT OF COVERAGE AREA
If anytime call connects by luck then very soon it drops.
There is no limit of time for SMS to reach
What should we do?
Should we transfer our numbers to other service providers?

    I am very much frustrated on MTNL broad band connection, which leads me to write this letter. Every Day the connection fails and use to put a complaint by phone . You can see my fault booking history in 198 system. Even before attending the problem, the complaint use to delete from your history. For past one week the broad band connection is not working. My wife is working from home by using this connection. She had gone to MTNL ofiice in new panvel and met an officer there. Nobody is taking any initiative to attend and solve the problem till now Please do a favor or advise me how to tackle the such type of situation arises and solve it in an easiest manner.

        Dear Sir,

        I have mtnl number 27606732 in Airoli,Navi mumbai.More than two months now my telephone is not working properly.Some other telephone number is connected with my phone hence i am not able to hear any voice from the caller neither i can call any one from my instrument.I have made several complaints to mtnl office at rabale but so far no action has been taken from mtnl side.Kindly help me in this matter.

          MTNL has failed to provide the services to their customers as my internet also is not working since 7 th june .Even contacting the area manager of dwarka several times but he is also helpless as on his behalf several people has note down the number and promised that the problem will be solved within 24 hrs . But that 24 hrs is not yet completed and then you expect me to pay for your services which i have not provided to me till now.I guess mtnl is very busy in making their new customers that they have least bodered about our complaints or stopped providing services.My telephone no. is [protected].
          MTNL has not resolved my telephone complaint which was lodged on 19 Dec. 2011. I am paying for services which are not provided to me and my phone dead too. My Telephone number[protected]

            i am writting this because of being victim of mtnl fake billing. last month (march 2011) i had applied for unlimited plan of 599 of mtnl plan which cost Rs599 but they give us bill of Rs1871.
            My consumer no. is [protected] and My bill no. is [protected].
            So please pay attention on this conplain and take strict decison as soon as possible.

              My name is Saud Ansari and i am using MTNL BroadBand internet services i was on DSL_unlimited_599 plan and i change my plan to DSL_unlimited_999 which is suppose to give speed of 1 Mbps but i am only getting 300 Kbps. I lodge the complaint no 6590 but there has been no response from them. My telephone number is 28122104. Please help me prevoius same thing happen and i suffered for a month for slow speed issue.

              As per my broadband Plan and terms & conditions given to me by MTNL at the time of my registration the speed of my internet connection should be 256 kbps which was being received by me till October 2008 by very regretfully I have to state that the speed has been discontinued since then and came down to 120 kbps which is the 155 kbps till date. Apart of it my internet connection is disconnected my times in a day.

              I have filled complains regarding this matter earlier to the MTNL office by mail and by phone in customer care also. and I also complain in MTNL North Zone office, Rohini, Sector-3, Delhi-110085 but no action has been taken by the department to solve this problem and I am suffering heavy time losses due to the slow speed of my internet connection.

              This is my humble request to all o[censored] that join hand and file complain against MTNL in TRAI (Telephone Regulatory Authority of India).

              Its been more than 1month that i am using MTNL Broadband at home...i took a plan which is called TribCOMBOUnlimited...with the download speed
              of 256 Kbps... i got the speed near 220 kbpsfor 3 days only and from last 20 days my download speed reduced to 20Kbps only...I have complained no. of time...but still no action has been taken from MTNL yet...I am paying Rs.599 for the month & still not getting the speed...
              Even their customer care guys dont have any resolution they just hang up the phone or give a other no. for Internet speed complaint and when i am call on it they also give a another no. that so at last no is not working ...
              That is really a Bad services for costomer...

              I am a resident of krishna nagar near ram lela groud. i had taken MTNL internet service on juliy month, unlimited plan Rs.599. in this service it was mentioned tht 342mbps ( approx) speed is provided but now while we are using this net the speed is only just 20mbps is there. we are felling too much inconvenient while using this net. our mtnl telephone no. is 22098864,
              please try to resolve this problem . so tht e are able to use ur services in best way.

              i completely agree, but still ur getting a gud speed i get just 20-30kbps of speed
              I have an MTNL 1 mbps connection. But I get ridiculously slow speed.
              I look a new connection of mtnl landline plan 150
              n then i took the new plan for internet paln 512kbps...
              were as i get the speed of 20 kbps onlyfrom the day of connection i've told to the staff member he said their is some problem in network it will get resolved within a day u don't worry but still m facing the same problem my no is[protected] Dahisar east mumbai-400068.
              i request u to please resolve my querry as m paying 599+50 moderm charge+landline charge+service tax n m getting very low speed were as my other friends get a proper speed...

                I am hearby compiled to complaint about my MTNL landline (No[protected] there is no dial tone in my phone. Sir my phone is not working from 18/03/2011, I already complaint about this and few days back a maintenance man came and he told that the connecting port is not working properly but he asked me to pay for this. I can not pay him anything at that time my phone is working but after 2 hours it again stops working.Please help me regarding this and reply me positively.

                  Very poor service. Each time I dial interactive voice service xxxx2198 I only get msg that my complaint has been registered under docket no. 82210 and will be attended soon. Similarly several complaints have been registered online too. The MTNL exchange nos. just ring - no one picks up. Alternatively, one gets recorded msg that the no. is busy.

                  hey all these people r shameless we cant do anything against them as i dont have MTNL but have tata modem wireless it is just worst we can simply spread the truth so atleast others will not buy their products. just spread this message you may get some impact. thank you
                  I have mtnl, Mumbai landline no.[protected] and this number is not working since the last five months along with the BROADBAND facility. I am being charged Rs. 250 per month of monthly service charges plus Rs. 999/- per month for the BROADBAND Service charges plus taxes etc. I have given in a letter in writing on 4th of April, 2011 at the Charcop Telephone Exchange to please disconnect my abvoe landline number but instead of disconnecting the line, I receive a call from the telephone mechanic that my phone is working now but I insisted that pls disconect the same as I have given a letter in writing. But this has not been done till date and I have received another bill for the month of April, 2011.

                  You are one of the sadest service providers i have ever experienced.
                  I have a problem using my Brodband as the Interner light is not blinking in the ASDL modem.
                  I have booked a complaint but they state that a person will come on the same day and fix it but it 2 months now i am not able to fix the problem
                  Your customer service is also on of the irritating services as they pick up the phone and never talk .
                  I have Voice recordings of all the representatives i have talken to for the past 20 days and also they gave me around 10 different numbers stating the numbers are for area supervisors who will look into the issue but no one picks the phone there.
                  I have enough proof to submit against you as past two mionths i am paying my bill for 450 combo brodmabd plan but just it is in Vein .
                  So kindly look into this issue ASAP or i will submit all proof to the Consumer Court ans launch legal complaint

                    I am facing frequent Internet disconnections since last three months....every time i lodge a complaint on MTNL help line number 198 the complaint is attended only after 2 days and the internet connection is UP. It works for one day completely and than back to square one....it starts giving problem again...We have been paying the bills on time but the service provided is the most pathetic one. DISGUSTING MTNL TRIBAND SERVICE.

                      sir i have mtnl[protected] unlimited broadband plan from the day of connection i used to download speed 200kb/ps but from last one week i an having decrease in speed from 80kb/ps to 10kb/ps. i have lodged many complaints with them but they are not solving my complaint (no. 6937/863) and giving me assurances that we are doing and solving the problem and today there executive came and said the problem is from mtnl side and the higher (mr. bharadwaj) authority is suggesting me to change the plan instead of solving my problem.
                      sir please help me what should i do in this matter

                        We have internet connection of MTNL Broadband with wifi. In this broadband connection we have no wifi connectivity with in 10 mtr and MTNL said this connection has 40 mtr range of connectivity. You are requested to please rectify this problem.

                          I am the customer of mtnl mumbai. My details are

                          My internet is very very slow since last 25 days it's fluctuating from 300 to 10 kbps I can not work properly I have 395 unlimited plan with 320kbps speed. I tried all options writing to executive director, chief gm, gm and all senior officers from mtnl but nothing has worked they are just giving promises and excuses. Whenever I complaint through 198 (toll free number) it gives a complaint number but without solving my problem they are closing my complaint.
                          Yesterday I threatened them I'll write to consumer court but no response from them. They feel they are from government division and nobody can touch them.

                          After failing to get positive response from mtnl I am trying this option .
                          I hope you will do something I feel I am helpless

                          I agree to your views fully. We really have to take this issue up on a mass scale otherwise nothing ever moves in this country . My internet has been giving problems from March onwards & I am being told by MTNL that they are upgrading their server & hence the speed has been affected . But soooo long ?. I am not sure whether this problem is area wise or on the whole I have not heard any complaints from my friends residing in other areas else they have just accepted it as a matter of fact knowing mtnl.
                          Do you have any idea about this telephone adalat or have address we can write to them

                          Today is sunday and apart from my other problems I am not getting 2mbps speed this is now for the 3rd sunday they are just fooling in the name of sunday funday
                          Find out who is the DM of your area . I think you will get it on the MTNL website . Speak to the officer directly . It helps sometimes . It's the line men who are playing havoc . Have you called 198 & registered your complaint ? .
                          SAME PROBLEM HERE... MTNL IS VERY SLOW IN ITS SPEED N SERVICES !!

                            Hi,

                            I have applied for MNP from Vodafone to MTNL, as per the TRAI there will be only 2-3 hours of no service period which will be during midnight only. But since midnight (12 april 2011 2:00 AM) my number [protected] is deactivated. As Vodafone has approved the porting but MTNL is lacking somewhere. When called up MTNL call center they said it will be active by evening and still it is not active (12th April 2011 11:30 PM).

                                Dear Sir/Madam,

                                With reference to MTNL Advertisement in Mumbai Mirror Dated April 10,2011 it states that all subscribers o[censored]nlimited broadband would get a increase in speed to 2Mbps in the entire month of April. This advertisement was even published last week and also the week before in Mumbai Mirror.

                                However , even though I have a 599 Kbps Unlimited plan , I am not getting even 1/4th the speed on sundays. On enquiry with MTNL Cusomer care they sated "This advertisement is published but this service is not active yet". Therefor it is evident that a company like MTNL is giving fake advertisements in newspapers to boost their sales.

                                In general for a plan of 512Kbps plan I should get a download speed of 60 KBps or above but I get only 40-45KBps.The line engineers are not ready to listen to my complaints or queries and one of them even said " Complain in Consumer forum". This is certainly not the way to treat customers. So what if its a big company like MTNL their actions and services too should be scrutinised.

                                Spot on there, Bhavin Parekh, there was an AD in DNA as well calling Sunday a Funday.
                                However, that is not the case, if anything it becomes worse on Sundays.The speeds are pathetic as they are around 40kbps.I have a 1Mbps(1000kbps) unlimited plan so one can imagine what the speed drop feels like & since its a Sunday the MTNL exchange will be closed & any registered complaints will be dealt with on Monday with the annoying query "what is the issue?".Many MTNL users are complaining on twitter.
                                I hope they stop this 2Mbps sunday funday cause it feels like an april fool's joke being played on the customers & I for one don't find it funny at all.
                                My point is MTNL should acknowledge the fact that users are getting pathetic speeds on Sundays or else MTNL may find itself with fewer customers come next Sunday.
                                I also having same problem with MTNL triband they are fooling consumers by giving advertisements about unlimited plans but basically these plans come with pathetic speed which is of no use to downloads.For downloading a movie u need to keep your PC on for hours n hours.Connection timeout n drop in speed adds to frustration.In world of 3g they should really boost their schemes with more speed otherwise all users will turn to 3g option.

                                  I have a MTNL dolphin phone number [protected].I have always been very regular about my bill payments but this month unfortunately I was late in paying my bill.My phone was disconnected without sending me any information despite the fact that a security amount of 1000/- is with MTNL and bill amount was only 691/-.I paid my bill 3 days back but still it is non operational and whenever I tried to contact MTNL I am not getting any satisfactory answer.

                                    My phone no is[protected] is dead.
                                    I o.p sachdeva resident at wz-2 gali no. 3/4 krishna park, tilak nagar, new delhi-18 is unable to make calls and recieve calls due dead phone so please take some necessary steps.
                                    For the past 23 days our MTNL land line has been dead. It is our daily ritual to spend an hour at[protected]MTNL complaint portal) to register a complaint--much like going to the temple. MTNL has taken absolutely no action and deems it fit not to take any. We also have called the lineman and offered him extra money, were he to take some time to do his job. Earlier we also had MTNL broadband, but had to cancel it simply because it was more often dead than alive. We'd like to keep our MTNL number, simply because it has been with us for more than 30 years and many people only know this number.

                                    The only good thing to come out of this is that the alacrity with which MTNL does non take action has cured my parents of some of their nostalgia for the "good-old days."

                                    Anyone has any suggestion--other than a complain portal?

                                    My telephone is dead since saturday. i have twice lodged the complaint on 198. myu docket no. is 5143. but till doay nobody has attended the complaint. even one personal visit was done to the Sahayog Tel. Exchange, Thane after loosing the tolerance by continuously calling the no.25892100 and also the board no. 25894191.

                                    My telephone No. 22960406 is dead for the last 4/5 days. I have also lodged complaint but of no use. Due to this my broadband connection is also not working.

                                    Please look into this personally and rectify the fault.
                                    I have lodged my complaint vide No. 37 dated 18.3.2010 regarding my dead phone No. 22960406. But till date no one turned up for rectify the same. Due to this I am also not able to use my broadband connection provided by MTNL.

                                    MTNL — Landline is dead since 23 days

                                    In our colony, 5 telephone lines are dead since 23 days, none of the MTNL people including GM is giving proper answer.
                                    the line man Mr Mohan has visited couple of times & said 2~3 ,mahine mein ho jayega..

                                    we asked them to replace the cable if cable fault and we tenants will give cable as MTNL is not having. but even then they are not responding

                                    i tried calling sevral numbers[protected] / 24145556 / 24072000 / 24051300 / 24051400 & many more.. as soon as i call to any number they give me new number saying . go and approach on this.. but at the end no result...
                                    written complaint also given to customer care office , 3rd floor Matunga . but no update.

                                    Mr Mohan is also not good in talking ..langauge used by his abusive.

                                    My MTNL tel.#25896491 is dead since 06Nov'11. I have lodged complain to 25892198 & received complaint# 719 dt.07 Nov'11 & complain at dotpg cell at 2335666 on 08-11, 11-11 &[protected] & received complaint nos. B-15, E-322 & C-165 respectively.On Nov15' 2011 I visit to Tel. Exchange/Sanchar Haat & lodged complaint. My phone is dead till now i.e. 17 Nov'11.
                                    I request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

                                    the land line is completely dead for few days, on complaining about the same, the reply was given as follows by un know number of mtnl offfice was "appka face book to chal raha hai bus"
                                    i m completely un satisfied with the ans given i pay for both broadband as well the phone line and is my landline not working for so many days....i require refund for days went waste and landline working as soon as poosible ....... hope you do the need full.......mtnl is not the same now...

                                      MTNL is in deep slumber. Nobody dare wake it up. It will be offended.

                                      Bloody hell, when will this never-developing organisation understand corporate culture for its own good. Useless companies such as these contribute to making this country a never-developing country.

                                      Forget 3G, MTNL is not even geared up to provide proper 2G services. See the internet connection it provides over the USB stick. It is hopeless. Forget speed; it cannot even maintain continuity of connection. Same is the case with telephony. Hopeless network and call-drops. Try calling their customer care department. They don't care. You won't find them on their seats. The customer care number will either be continuously busy or you may never get the line.

                                      Hey Ram! When will India become truly independent. We were better off with the British!!

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        I hereby wish to lodge a complaint against MTNL Mumbai for treating their customers in the most disgusting manner. I booked Triband ADSL connection on thier infamous 1500 helpline. They activated a wrong plan and when I called them to log my complaint, I was given a total run around. They asked me to write an application to correct the error they have committed and visit the exchange personally. Each time I called them I was rudely asked to talk to a different department as my complaint did not fall under their perview. Till date I am helplessly waiting for someone to call & resolve my issue. If that was not over, to my shock I noticed the speed that was promised of 2 Mbps proved to be false. It keeps oscillating between 350 kbps to 1.34 Mbps. Please assist and intervene.

                                        i agree with u sir mtnl has pathetic customer service they speak as if they are doing some favour by providing me internet service and as if i am getting it for free of charge disgusting and shameful the department shud be called customer non service instead of customer service

                                        using MTNL from the past several years but not even able to register online complain . MTNL itself seems doesn't update their customers data so how can one expect proper service from them.
