I had surrendered my landline MTNL connection (Tel. no[protected] at Samta Nagar Office of MTNL on 1 November 2020, alongwith cancelled cheque and all other requirements. However till date, I have not got refund of my security deposit amount

This is to inform you that I had lodged the complaint of the above referred landline no. 23800438 being dead from 9th Nov 2020 and till April end it was dead. The complaint docket number was 6576. The MTNL engineers visited my place and resolved the issue at the end of April. I have not been able to use both the services i.e. calls and internet services. Also, I have been writing mails since 1st December 2020 and again on 25 th March informing about the same but the issue got resolved at the end of April. I also wrote a letter to MTNL, Gamdevi branch to cancel the bill till April as I could not use the services. I paid the bill for May before the due date. But inspite, they have disconnected my line.

MTNL Mumbai lL[protected] is non functional for quite sometime.

Our landline 25176200 Mumbai is not functioning for sometime. Kindly arrange for activation of the line at the earliest.

Line dead for last 2 mths, line man says its internal problem . phone not working . they should start the phone . we cant pay for unsed in operative landline

pathetic service. And don't give me reason of covid. Telephone comes under essential services.
My father's landline phone is dead since more than 10days.
Every time i get only same reply" staff shortage". Even the gm of concerned area is never on seat.
Even without being rectified i am getting message on my cell phone that complaint is being resolved.
Then shut down your shop and go somewhere else.
Tell me one reason i should continue with you giveb such shoddy services. Why should i pay whoke month rent if it was dead for more than 10 days.
I am going to raise this issue with consumer forum.

For more than 10 days, my phone line is dead. this is a recurring issue. and i receive bills and gets debited from my account.

this is not acceptable, if you cant give solution, kindly disconnect the services forever.

This is further to my trailing mail on the Landlord line as completely dead. I have lodged a complaint almost a week back, the docket number is 8747. This complaint is not attended till date. It is observed the phone line is half the time not working properly. None of the technicians has attended the complaint, which is a surprise.
Would like to know on how many more days the line will be operational?? If the line is dead, are you going to send me the proportionate bill for the line operational for?

Kindly note that we are suffering since 31/05/2021 as the internet connection is not available. We have complained to the customer desk and the registered complaint number is 1047.
Surprisingly, no technician from MTNL has turned up so far for rectifying the above fault.
May I request you to attend the above complaint /service request without further delay.

Tel no 24332314. Had surrendered my phone in 2019 and paid all bills till date .but till today haven't received my deposit back from mtnl.we had spoken to call centre of mtnl and we're told in Feb 2020 year that we ll receive the same by max 2 months ...I request my security deposit back.

With reference to my complaint no. copies of mtnl complaints falsely repeatedly cleared are attached which were raised on the various dates

But till date above Mtnl numbers are not working. Personnel of MTNL closing my complaints with false reasons i.e. subscriber does not allow mtnl people to enter the residence premises for rectification which is just wrong and false and more such reasons were used to close the complaints.

Line man name Mr Jagdish also visted the Premises various times since 1 January 2021 but could not rectify the fault as following materials such as 5 pair cable of 600 metre, 4 clip instruments of landline and 4 wifi modems which were needed for rectification and restoration of Mtnl landline and Broadband were never given to him by Mr C L Meena.

SDO named Mr Dinesh Kumar Sinha also visited along with Mr Jagdish on 23 January 2021 to see the MTNL cable wiring of 5 PAIR JELLY FILLED ARMORED CABLE STRUCTURE of residence wiring and was also informed that this wiring was done 25 years ago when every drop wire of the mtnl number was replaced by mtnl 5 pair cable by the mtnl and is being maintained and repaired by the mtnl people only and interacted and during the whole visit time Mr. C L Meena was on video conferencing and the problem was also informed to him but then also nothing was done to resolve the grievance.

After MTNL personnel interaction on video conferencing Mr. C L Meena made a call for meeting at Dwarka, and asked me to meet him and when the purpose of meeting was asked he confirmed it is just a meeting about rectification of phone numbers. I denied to meet him personally at dwarka as I sensed something fishy through his conversation then he wanted to meet me at his residence for not known reasons.

It is very astonishing for me that Govt. officials are asking to meet personally for rectification of phone numbers for which monthly payments have been made well in advance through ADVANCE DEPOSIT SYSTEM OF MTNL of more than RS 20, 000. In my opinion he is asking for some favour as above numbers are installed at Lt. Ch. Prem Singh ji, Ex-Speaker Delhi Vidhan Sabha residence.

After denial of meeting Mr. C L Meena DGM Area Manager MTNL Hauz Khas New Delhi started closing the complaints without any proper reason From January 1 2021 and told that MTNL is not responsible for proper functioning of MTNL telephones as MTNL has no funds for that.

He also suggested to withdraw the MTNL numbers and use private telephones.

In this regard when Mr Anish Mehta GM General Manager Bhikaji Cama Place New Delhi was told about the problem then protective and defensive approach was seen towards the behaviour and activity of Mr C L Meena and he also did not intervene to resolve the grievance as if he supports such arrogant and haughty official with bad behaviour.

In my opinion employees like Mr. C L Meena are the main cause for failure of MTNL.

It is my humble request to your good self for taking necessary action in this regard.

MTNL landline is not in operation for last one month

This is with regard to the above mentioned telephone number viz[protected]. I would like to inform you that I had submitted a letter dated 20th September 2019 surrendering the connection and requesting you to disconnect the phone from my premises.

I have been still receiving Telephone bills asking me to pay the monthly bills from October 2019. I also receive daily recorded phone calls asking me to make the payment.

I request you to please once again check on my status of the phone and disconnect the line at your earliest.

I have been a landline subscriber of MTNL for many years, now since I have retired and also due to the Covid- 19, we have decided the cancel the MTNL landline. Since I am staying in Kerala, I had asked my son Mr Kannan Mani staying at the same address in Andheri and whose email address is on your records to cancel the connection on my behalf.

The landline cancellation application was forwaded to the MTNL MIDC – Andheri (East) office on 09/06/2020 along with the instrument, this has been accepted on the same day and there are no dues pending. We have received the confirmation of this on the same day.

However, it is now 11 months and still we have not received the security deposit that I had paid initially at the time of applying for this connection many years ago. My son contacted the office in MIDC and they said go to Vileparle office and these people say go to Andheri office. This is going on again and again. I hope I can get a speedy resolution, due to Covid situation my son cannot afford to go different offices again and again and cannot risk his job.

I tried to pay my mtnl bill online, CA no. [protected] the first time it showed transaction failed and when i tried again, it showed successful. yet i received two deduction messages... the bank shows both transaction successful.

now, mtnl has a notice that says, " MTNL Delhi/Mumbai accept only full-payments; therefore you have to pay the entire bill amount. Also as MTNL accepts payments only against the current bill, you can not pay more than the bill amount. In case of excess payments, MTNL will reject the payment and will not adjust against future bills. Similarly MTNL will not accept part payments."

I tried to call mtnl customer care, helpline and online number, none of which i received any help from them.

how many days does it take for mtnl to reject and refund the extra amount paid?
i want the INR 885/- refunded back to my hdfc account

We would like to disconnect the subject landline 26524614 permanently.

Landline no.[protected] is registered in the name of my mother Smt Asha Jain. Since she expired on 11th July 2020, i wanted to disconnect the line. I have visited the Agripada exchange with a copy of Death Certificate and the instrument to hand over but there was no one to address this issue. I have tried on the toll free number several times but there also either there is a voice message and if i have to tal to the person no one picks up the line. However i get a call from mtnl no.[protected] reminding me to make payment of my bills almost everyday.
I do not stay close to Agripada exchange and commuting in this lockdown phase is not allowed. Then how are we as consumers expected to get the line disconnected.
When i can get reminders on regular basis then why are redressal calls not taken. Specially when movement is not allowed in lockdown why is it expected that there should be a personal visit to the exchange. Why can a online application for disconnection not be accepted.

I request you to please look into the matter at the earliest.
