Mahanagar Telephone Nigam [MTNL] Complaints & Reviews

Dear Sir,
It is irritating & disgusting that a Gvmt company like MTNL do not bother to attend the clients' complaint. "Acche Din Cub Ayenge?"
Since last 6 days I am lodging complaint on my Broad Band not working & have followed regularly over phone at MTNL Kashimira customer care office. See my complaint numbers- 9247, 7149, 8257, 2351 !! What is surprising is that the docates are closed without attending/ closing the complaint!! Infact I talked with the repairer person (Aryas Yadav- Mob-[protected]) who told that complaint is attended on 28TH Oct BUT the problem still persists. He told that card has been changed, burnt cable has been relaid!! Is there anybody to look to the customers? Why the docates are closed without attending it OR not at all looked into?
This is the reson why people tend to close MTNL phone & go for Reliance, TATA, Aittel etc as they look to their customers very sincerely.
When government companies are going to improve?

This telephone is installed at b3a/303 janakpuri and the users complainants are super seniors and both handicap and bed ridden. No. Of reports made. It need change of wire which is not being done. Latest complaint no. Is 256 of[protected]. Please depute special staff for doing needful.

My landline number is[protected] in the name of Zillion Overseas is dead and whenever I complaint I don't get proper response.
It is always a question that when government departments will start working.
We avail services to use them, but, rather it is like we consumers are just to fill pockets of government servant and then to we will be disturbed.
It's been for more than one year I had availed broadband connection, but it is never functional.
Pathetic services, from MTNl, then why, not to use private ones only.

I'm Sandeep saxena resident of b-1296, gali no. 37, sant nagar, burari, delhi-110084.
I had applied mtnl connection almost six month ago on mtnl Siri after 3 days their executive come to my house and taken 500 rs and took necessary documents and told me to install connection in 1 week but nobody visit or call me till date, than a call their executive who took money from me, he give me SR no. 2551315 and told it will be install soon, I have send numbers of mail to mtnl but nobody help.

On 22.09.2016 afternoon my telephone land line 2770 7029 was disconnected to outside calls without any notice or messages which also apparently disconnected my Wi Fi which most urgently used. I called 1504 and got the message to contact Area Account Officer.and informed me the line is cut due to non payment.We were out of station and not sure of non payment since no messages or emails were not received.Our payment history reveals the fact that we are prompt customers paying in time. But MTNL was in so hurry and haste to cut my Wi Fi not understanding the difficulties facing due to that.It was appreciable if MTNL give some message for granting even one day so that I could pay through internet. That much service mentality is not shown as if they want to give maximum harassment to waste my time and energy.. Or they can simplify my hardships by giving the contact number of person for ressolving the problem( I mean Area Account Offficer). Instead of that like ritual with zero service i have no other clues whom to call.

I have no other alternative but called Public grievances no 27881881 The person responded very patiently, by taking too much time gave 3 numbers to contact 10.30am to 5.30 pm .during duty hours.such as 2771 4787, 2770 2286 &, 2767 2286. Since I was very impatient and in urgent need I called the numbers at 10.30 amitself on 23.09.16.To my surprise the so called Public Grievances is giving me the no. which responded not existed for 2767 2286. The other 2 numbers were not picking up. by which I assume the staff of MTNL might not have arrived in time.

Finally I visited Nerul Area Office and the Area Accounts Officer was very cordial l and resolved the problem .But i wasted my full day time and energy and had incontinence of not getting Wi Fi due to Zero Se vice and maximum harassment policy which could have been settled had there been a little service mentality and sense from their end???

My phone is dead from last one month. I had booked the complaint many times & also called to area manager but nothing is done up till now.The service provided is very poor.Previous month also it was dead for more than 5 days. At-least we should know up to which date it will be solved.
I will be very great full to you if it is solved today.

I nisar ahmed choudhary residing at sakinaka mumbai 400072.
My old telephone number 28525678 was disconnected by not pad my bill. And now i have paid outstanding bill inr:1987/- on 09/09/2016. After mtnl dipartment not started my number & i requested personaly sakinaka telephone exchange with area account officer, then he saying me that pay 10, 000/- deposit for this number because this number primimum number. But allready use by me this number 28525678 long time. Then how to gon premimum. Mtnl frouding mith me i am very tired

Even after repeated requisitions about the dead connection no response since one month. I have no telephone bills due till date. Complaint Docket numbers raised are 996, 8083. Need some urgent attention in this regard as it is now a month long awaiting for some response from MTNL mumbai. I am getting no service even after paying the telephone bills.

My mother - mrs. Annie alemao - landline telephone # 24150966 has given her telephone for safe custody as she was out of india for many years and is not likely to return to india soon.
We have noticed that mtnl has started charging rs. 100 p. M for the last few months and if we are not in india and telephone is not being used, what are the monthly charges being levied for?

Can you please arrange to refund all the charges made and would appreciate your reply to her son godfrey alemao ([protected]@yahoo.com) based in dubai, uae.

I have made a complaint by costumer care no.198 and received the complaint no.1519 on 6-sep-2016 and I received a SMS that your land line no. has been attended but I checked there is no dial tone. In this contest I made call to Pushpendra kumar vats to Ph no.27921377 and burari telephone exchange phone but no one pick up. what, I do now please do needful.

My dolphin sim card when it is fixed in my dongle and when it is inserted into laptop, then internet is not working in d link dongle for the last 20 days. I have several calls on phone numbers 1503 and 1518 but none is attending to my calls. Kindly rectify the problem so that i am able to use internet with my d link dongle.

I am complaint on 1504 since last 3 months but no resolution, every time person use to call and ask if it's working or not. Telephone no. 28525112, there is issue with line when use to fail customer care net starts otherwise it dosent work, these guys are really sick don't even turn up to check what is the issue. Kindly let me know if it can be resolved or I have to move consumer court.

I have a mtnl landline connection with a triband connection. The billing for the calls is usually low and the major part is on account of triband usage. However the charges are going up for no apparent reason. Injan and feb 2016, the phone bill was about rs 670/-. For the next two months it came to about rs 1670/-.in june and july it suddenly shot up to rs 3660/- and the latest bill is in excess of rs 11000/-. I cannot understand why this has happened and have not got a response to my online complaint so far.

I, nutan, r/o b-7/5, sector-15, rohini, delhi - 110 089 owns a mtnl connection with no. 27297434 and broadband connection along with it. I want to you to disconnect the broadband connection as well as the landline connection because o[censored]nsatisfied services provided by mtnl.

I am really fed up of your services because when i went to complain about my connection which was not working properly from last so many days there was no action taken on my complaints. I did complaint so many times but there was no response from you. Due to this i took a new connection from airtel which is working very nicely. Therefore, i was suppose to take an action due to your leniency because i want better services so i wanted to quit with this connection.

Therefore, i want you to see the matter and do the needful as soon as possible and disconnect my connection.

Mtnl landline and broadband line are dead since last 3 weeks.
I am really very tired now of mtnl service. I have lodged a complaint with mtnl for fault in line via online portal, telephone, mtnl office visit but there is no one to rectify it and make it in working state. Now, i feel like i shall discontinue taking service from mtnl. Mtnl technician (Mr. Mishra in bhayandar) say that it will be sorted today itself, whereas i have heard this from him since 2 weeks now but it is not yet resolved. Everytime i call mtnl for complaint they give me different contact numbers and ask me to contact given number and problem will be solved. Some of the given numbers are : 28144455, 28141064, 28192240.
Only god knows what is wrong with this people in mtnl. Now, they have generated latest bill with full 30 days rental charges, i dont understand their service. Line is dead since 21 days and they are charging me for 30 days. Mtnl has gone nuts.

I will be obliged if this works for me..
