Internet has not been working since 26th June on my MTNL line 26804054. Initially, I tried calling the Customer Care number 22221504 end number of times but was unable to register a complaint as the call keeps on dropping. Very frustrating. Since the number didn't work for me, I sent an email to helpdesk.[protected]@bol.net.in and [protected]@bol.net.in but no one replied back. I then sent multiple follow up emails but to no avail. After two weeks, I got a call from the local MTNL exchange on last Friday and he told me that he visited my place but it is locked. I told him that I am in office and requested him to visit on Saturday the next day. On Sat, no one turned up till around 11 AM, so I decided to pay a visit to the local exchange. There is no ADSL light on the Modem and the lineman confirmed that the issue is at the back-end. For a brief period, the ADSL light was coming on and off on Friday night. I was told that it will be fixed by EOD Saturday. But, it is still not working. It has become a nightmare for me to make the broadband work. I am a working person from 9 to 6 (Monday to Friday). I do not have time to visit the exchange office again and again. I don't understand why MTNL doesn't respect one's time and money. I can only wish if they were better.

It has been 3 weeks now. My MTNL broadband is still not working. It is a shame MTNL which is one of the largest Service Provider in India is unable to make it's service work for 3 weeks.

    This is to bring into notice that a complaint had been registered in MTNL office on 24 June 2014 regarding replacement of our wifi modem.The MTNL officials claimed that a person will be sent to our home for checking of the modem but since then no one has come for the checking, We have called them more than 10 times but every time there is the same reply from the MTNL officials and nothing has been done so far regarding our complaint.I request the MTNL office to look into the matter as far as possible. Thank you

      My landline was dead from 01/07/2014 and net was also not working . I have already made so many complaints on 198 but all vain .         Hi, My MTNL Broadband hasn't been working for more than 12 days now. I have been registering complaints with the MTNL helpline number to restore the services; but the complaints have been continually closed without any support. Last night I have logged a complaint for the 5th time. Every noon there is a call from the MTNL office \ MTNL personnel. But when checked in the eve the complaint is either not worked on or closed.         My name is Deventhiran A Nadar, Practising as a "Advocate" in Courts. I tool connection of Land line around three year back but no problem with land line. But i was decided to took connection of Internet then approached MTNL Office Sion, Mumbai. Enquired one Department Lady told that if you take connection of Internet then maximum bill may come around Rs.700 Per month. As per her oral conversation i Took Internet connection, but later come to know that it is too very high cost at the same time working of Internet is also very slow.
        I made on line complaint about slow working of Internet then one officer from MTNL came to my came told my daughter that cable is installed very far sway from MTNL office to your home that is the reason it is working very slow.That time i was not at home. When i came late night, i shocked to get such information from my daughter regarding officer told reason for slow working.

        Once again i got very shocked due to bill amount is raised around more than Rs.1200 per month. I know in market even i[censored]sing unlimited Internet even though i have pay maximum amount Rs.450.

        So did not made the payment of bill and also MTNL Department disconnected the Internet connection as well as outgoing calls of Land line.
        I Prepared one complaint letter, which was sent though my clerk, , she gone to Sion MTNL office for submission they told go to Matunga MTNL office, When she Gone for submission of complaint letter but dispatch department and the officers name Rs.S. K Hazre, who is sitting in 3rd floor ( Deputy Manager). He was not ready to accept our complaint letter and he said go pay the bill and come we will think about taking back Wireless Box ( Binatone) and we will charge service charges every month even though we have disconnected the Internet connection.
        The officer had harassed my clerk (Lady) and told her not to come here submitting any complaint letter and only pay the bill.

        I am really shocked due to such kind of negligence officer and he don't want to solve the problem of customer, and he and other staffs were not ready to listen her grievance. Simply said go and make the payment.. She requested many times to at least the accept the letter of complaint. But he was no bother about my complaint letter.

        My question is only that
        why don't accept the complaint letter ? Why Dispatch department sending my complainant women to 3r floor for accepting the letter? I have right to submit complaint letter with MTNL ? After disconnection of Internet, then how MTNL can charge Service Charges from even after disconnection of Internet. How officer can say, your Internet is working very slow because of cable is very far away from your Home?
        i will not make payment of service charges for after disconnection of Internet by MTNL.
        Pray
        The officer Mr. S.K HAZRA (DEPUTY MANAGER) Must be suspended from the duty, his responsible is to accept the complaint the letter and his duty is to written reply for my complaint letter. The Head of the Department must take stern action against him and other staffs. The officer who given reason for slow working, he also must be punished on the negligent and insulting consumers.
        My request is that this matter is to be initiated against these irresponsible office staff and must be suspended from the service for negligence part and damaging reputation of Government Sector.

          MTNL Landline Phone & Broadband attached to Phone # [protected] are not working for more than 53 days now.

          Complaint No. 908 dated 10-May-14 lodged on MTNL Automated Complaint Service Ph No.[protected]
          which till now it is still pending.

          Also lodged complaint on Public Grievances website http://pgportal.gov.in Complaint No. MTNLD/P/2014/01312 dated 15/05/2014 which till now it is open.

          On Top of it we have received bill from MTNL for the whole month of May 2014 for Rs 757/- during which phone was not working.

          I want the concerned people to look into this open issue for more than 53 days now. Make the phone and broadband work and revise the bill for actual usage when it was operational by removing extra charges and confirm when done.

            with ref. our customer a/c no. [protected] dated. 05/02/2013 it is inform you that after doing so much correspondence and visiting MTNL office Rohini sec-6, sec-3, sec-9 the connection of the phone is not given to this office till date. sir, in my earlier request i have already inform you that our office work to much suffering without NIC.This connection is mandatory for office work. Please look at the matter on the priority basis and do needful as earliest.

              Dear Sir/Mam Sir, On june .2014, I paid Rs.5000/- cash at the Sanchar Haat, pandav nagar, New Delhi and bought the MTNL 3G Jadoo Data Stick together with 3G Card (IMSI Number [protected]and Mobile Number [protected] and sim no-[protected] ). I am having internet connection- MTNL PREPAID DATA CARD which is not working from last 1 month and before that also there ws always a frequent disconnection. i Called many times on 1503 and the complaint date 23/06/2014 complaint no-64558, & 25/06/2014 complaint no – 62646214 but no executive come yet to solve our problem, still my problme continues and my net not working. I got the following numbers from customer care 1503 that for internet data card complaints’- 1.[protected]. but that numbers are not reachable and switched off. Kindly look into above matter and solve my problem asap. and kindly improve my internet connection speed .                     Its almost 2 weeks now I'm unable to use Internet.. Last Friday(13/06/2014) a customer care officer assured me to solve this problem and told me that there officer will visit us and resolve the problem... but none has come to us even after a week.. Although My Account Expiry Date is 1st July 2014, there is no Internet

                    I don't what they want. It seems that they are just duping customers..
                    Are we paying money in charity?

                      Till this month i.e June 2014 I had Rs 999 plan of MTNL Delhi which was an unlimited plan with constant 1Mbps speed.As I was not getting proper speed and my internet was frequently disconnecting I complained so many times to MTNL customer care.Their people just came and went and my problems weren't fixed even after complaining so many times.So I decided to upgrade to a higher plan.I requested them to upgrade my broadband to 1395 plan on 14th June which gives 4mbps speed till 25 gb and after that 512kbps.They should have done that from next month but they implemented the plan on 18th June and since then instead of getting 4mbps I'm just getting 0.3-1 mbps speed which is not even 1/4th of the required speed.So they will take 1395 Rs for this month without giving the speed etc. So Kindly just revert back my plan to the previous one only that is 1mbps unlimited at rs 999 and just remove this plan of 1395 i[censored] can't give speed otherwise i'll buy a new connection from some other company.                         Hi, I am a MTNL subscriber, I have been using MTNL Internet for about 4 years now, over the years I have faced a lot of trouble with my Internet connection. I make complaints regularly but all in vain. The only way to get the Internet connection working again is to ask the line man to fix it. Usually it takes about 4 or 5 days to get him to fix the connection. Over the years I have faced a lot of trouble due to this, Once I lost an important interview opportunity because of my internet woes. I live in Tilak Nagar area, New Delhi, and I am struck with MTNL connection, as there is no other decent Internet Service Provider available in our area, or else I would have changed my connection a long time ago.                             Hi, I am Manoj Singh S/O of Mr. Mohinder Singh living at Flat No.:88, Pocket:B-6, Sector-4, Rohini, Delhi-110085. From last 1.5month, my landline was dead i.e extreme disturbance in dial tone & of course no Internet access. First i followed regular process of complaint, i.e. Complaint on MTNL broadband customer care helpline.But i was given fake commitment all times i dropped a call to Customer Care. After one week, i went to second level i.e. towards Area Manager but there was no response to my calls then i moved to the third level and gave call to General Manager Mr. Tiwari, he assured me, that my Internet and landline will be resume by that day evening.After that evening things got even worse. Again i tried to call Mr. Tiwari for same issue, but he is not picking up my phone or the phn is showing switched off.This is the type of service provided by MTNL where the higher management is not looking into customer problems. At the end, i got monthly rental bill of last month, WHY WOULD I PAY BILL IF I DIDN'T USE SERVICE. I am totally fed up from the service provided by MTNL. Where the customer grievance is not taken care even by higher management.Kindly look into my issues else disconnect my connection ASAP. Thanks, Manoj Singh Phn no.+[protected]

                            This is height o[censored]nprofessionalism at MTNL's part, there is no response even on the public grievence cell contact numbers, no single officer of MTNL responds to the calls whether it is on their cell official cell numbers or the office landline numbers.

                              The mtnl landline[protected] is dead since more than 10 days.
                              complaint has been done twice but no action is taken as of now.

                              They have changed the complaint no. twice but have not resolved the issue.

                                  Dear Sir I am very upset by this government ruling company MTNL, We are in 20th Century and free from British rulers but this governments company now becomes new British they do whatever they want not even single time they thought of their customers nor we can do anything against them even want to do. My telephone was dead for 2 months from 1.4.2014 to 11.6.2014 after complaining many times in written as well as by phone but no response from there nor they solve my problem. Customer Care same so lazy and do not want to work and their head department not interested to listen customer request and the main issue they are sending bills for the same month when my phone was dead and after 2 months of it my telephone start working but they again cut my outgoing due to not submit these 2 month bill.Kindly help me to resolve this problem and suggest me a workable solution.                                     On complaning regularly about the problem i am facing of regular speed drop and regular modem resetting mtnl officials are calling me and saying that as per our records every thing is working fine and there is no problem and you are at fault because you are downloading to much data.Mtnl officials are saying that according to their records my broadband connection is in use 24 hrs a day and i am downloading unlimited amount of data 24 hrs a day .As per my plan (Tri combo ul data-349) it is mentioned on mtnl delhi broadband website (Unlimited data download)at 4mbps of speed and that to wihout any speed drop.This is how mtnl treat their customers instead of solving their customers valid complain they blame their customers for that.

                                      D/S, In spite off lodging so many complaints from last on month my problem has not been resolved, my broad band not working, for formality sake your line man use to visit my House, but problem remains the same, from last two days daily in the morning I am registering my complaints at 1504 from my landline number ( i.e.[protected] but no body came to attend my complaint, from last one month I was not able to use my internet, previously problem was frequent disconnection of inter net, now it totally gone .
