I had booked heritage group of houseboat srinagar Kashmir 30.4.22 to 2.5.22 on make my trip, but today which is the 30th april 2022 I was denied entry into the hotel saying they have not received any such details from mmt, due to pre paid and post paid phone no. Problem in Kashmir I was not even able to contact any mmt personnel, due to their customer care being just attached to it phone details which don't work- make my trip also dosent have any email customer care where I can leave in my grievance, I still have no clue if I will get any refund for the non sense this site has created, and no way of contacting them
I would suggest not to book for such shady site with no proper customer care association

    I booked a flight ticket on 25th March 2021 with booking id NF[protected] which they cancelled. I have been in contact with their customer service and they assured me that they will process the refund which they have not done till today. They keep on extending the date saying give us 2 days and the refund has not yet been processed till today. They even asked me for my bank details which i have given. But as they have no intention to give me refund i fear they will use my bank details for malicious activities. To this day i am still owed ₹12889 in refund. I urge you to please take necessary actions

        On 26th April 2020, I was Booking a Railway ticket From Rajkot Jn to Mumbai Central of Rs 947/- as soon as i completed the payment, a messt arrived from MakeMyTrip tahtt, ur Booking has been cancelled because of Technical Glitch, ur Amount will be Refunded till 28th April 2022.
        I waited till 29th April but their was no Refund, so i called their Helpline No, bt they ended my call.

          I made a two bookings in MakeMyTrip app. both of the ticket booking are unsuccessful and the amount got deducted from my Bank account also they have initiated the Refund process, It was expected to get credited in my Bank account after 7 working days. but it is almost 2 month. i didn't get my money back and when i checked the Refund status it says the Refund Processed. I tried to contact their customer support and i was not able to elevate this concern because it was an automated call and i tried sending mails to them regarding this concern the only thing i received is a system generated response mail. I still have no solution for this. Because i paid Rs. 6720 and i still have no idea where this money actually went. This is my last resort please help me to get my money back. i am also attaching the RRN number of the Transactions that i made also attaching the screenshots of the transactions.

              I had booked a flight ticket through make my trip from Bangalore to Dusseldorf round trip . Unfortunately I flew to Dusseldorf but I couldn’t come back to Bangalore due to lockdown and all international flights were cancelled in May2020.After following up ten times they are not responding nor refunding my return ticket which values up to ₹78000. I’m stuck between the agent and the airlines. Airlines is asking me to raise refund via agent but the agent (make my trip) is giving some non sense reply. Instead of refunding the amount he is asking me to withdraw the cash using the app and He is arguing that I am unable to update properly!!Is the call truly from make my trip or just a scammer????? Really frustrated with top booking website

                  I have booked a hotel Shri Krishna Residency on April 8 on Makemytrip but cancelled it on April 15 due to some personal reason. I chose the option to transfer the refund to Makemytrip My Wallet and according to the company it is instantly transferred. However, 15 days later it is not reflecting in my My Wallet account. I have raised the request but I am not sure what really happened to that

                    Hi,
                    My name is Anuj Jain and I have booked a Dubai Trip from Makemytrip after consulting their representative. I have inquired all the details from them on email and then have made the part payment in March and remaining in Apr Month this year.
                    My journey use to schedule from 16th May from Mumbai to Dubai and return on 19th May this year.
                    After making the payment suddenly the emailed me about change in return flight and they give me one offer without payment to change the flight which I accepted and then after few days again they changed the departure flight and again I accepted.
                    10 days before they suggested to return an amount close to 124 AED Dirham (near 2600 INR) due to close on one activity, which I didn't not received yet.
                    On 26 Apr, they again changed my departure flight from 15th may to 14th may, due to which I have to Reschedule my Indore to Mumbai flight.
                    On dropping several mails and inquiry they called me and ask to pay extra amount for flight if schedule on 16th may, which I denied to pay.
                    So, they suggested to go on 14th may and arrange 1-day extra charges on Visa and accommodate HOTEL for 2 days by myself.
                    The representative is not picking my call nor replying to my messages after I booked the trip.

                    This is real torture for me as I have paid this amount on EMI with 13.99% Interest, which comes approx. Rs.80, 000/-

                    Kindly help me to provide me full refund or Schedule my trip with ease.

                          I had booked a flight from Mumbai to Dubai and cancelled it from indigo airlines.
                          I have checked with indigo airline and they have initiated a refund of INR 29504 and make my trip had only credited INR 18000, and have pocketed and defrauded me for INR 12000.
                          I really need ur support as they have done this with me twice. I have refund proof from indigo confirming me the amount.(attached)

                            My husband booked me and my kids tickets to Dubai from Mumbai on 29th April on Vistara airlines through Makemytrip.com. The tickets were booked from Dubai and due to change of plans, my husband is trying to contact makemytrip customer care team Dubai contact to cancel the tickets but neither they were responding nor they were allowing to do the cancellations on their app or website. I tried to call them from India as well but there is no way to reach to customer care team as their automated phone service disconnects the call with no appropriate response.

                            We are so disappointed with Makemytrip and I will never recommend anyone to use them for booking the tickets because initially they offer cheap tickets but if there is any change of plan you will end up paying more to the airlines as they will not be helpful.

                            I have paid almost double the money to the airlines to change our tickets but this amount should be borne by Makemytrip

                              Booked 2 rooms from 22nd to 26th April 2022 at Townhouse OAK Hotel 29 Church's Inn in Bangalore through Makemytrip.

                              Reached hotel around 6pm on 22nd, as per the listing the booked room category was "city view classic room", but from the reception they said city rooms already occupied by other guests and not available and said they will provide one city view room next day. The room they provided was smelling really bad and when we pointed it, they provided us another room. The room was not hygiene and found food waste on the wash basin, there was no soap or handwash, the body wash bottle was empty. There was no option to move the curtains, when we pointed it, one house keeping guy came in and boarded on the window and tied it with string. Also no battery found on the tv remote. Then we asked them to clean room, washroom, etc and fix other issues and we went out. We came back after 4 hours, the room was same, only change found was they remote the string tied on curtain. We called to the reception and one guy came in and he said, "It's not a five star hotel, you need to adjust".

                              I have contacted the makemytrip customer care and explained everything and they talked with the hotel reception. Then they tried to shift us to another hotel near by connecting with an OYO supervisor, even though they communicated to few hotels they couldn't find anything for us. So they promised to arrange a shift in the morning and requested to stay their for a night (The final call was around 2AM on 23rd April 2022).

                              Even though we didn't prefer to stay there a minute we agreed for that as it is difficult to find another stay on the late night and trusting makemytrip team. Also the executive said if we cancel we need to pay one night stay charges and one night cancellation charges, so will get only 2 days charges refunded.

                              From next day morning itself (23rd April 2022) I was waiting for the call from customer care, but nothing happened. So I called them around 9:40 AM and the executive said will arrange a call back from executive Rashid (who was in call with me last night), as he is taking care of this issue. I waited till 10:40AM and there was no call. So I contacted the customer care again and got connected with another executive named Ramanjeet, after hearing the issues she asked me to share the photos by the mail and I did the same.

                              But no further communication or update received from Makemytrip team, so I vacated hotel myself around 11:00 AM and gave the keys at reception, they said okay. I waited till evening on that day to hear an update from Makemytrip (shifting or cancellation), but nothing happen. So I booked on another hotel and then contacted makemytrip for an update. But they said they are working on it.

                              Next day I contacted customer care again and the executive said Rashid is taking up the issue and he will call back. After one hour I got a call back from Rashid and after the initial communication he put me on hold to communicate with hotel. Then he said the hotel not agreeing for cancellation and refund, so makemytrip can't provide the refund. But as a compensation they offered Rs 2500/- travel voucher.

                              Then I told him clearly that am not communicating for any compensation, instead expecting a refund as the stay was not hygiene and rude behaviour of hotel staff. Even I was okay to reduce the cost for single night I stayed there, but Rashid said they can't help as per the policy cancellation not allowed after check in.

                              So I disconnected the call and checked the call recordings, I found the communication saying 2 nights refund (after deducting one night stay and one night cancellation) will be provided if we decided to cancel. I contacted the customer care again and asked for it, they said they can't do anything as hotel is not cooperating. But they will check regarding this communication with their team.

                              Nothing happen then, instead makemytrip sent Rs 2500/- travel voucher as compensation. By this I understood that never ever book hotels on makemytrip, even if they understand and accept the issues you pointed out, they won't help you. The compensation and shifting offer clearly says they accept the problem, but they are not ready to stay with customer.

                              Other booking providers staying with customer and providing refund for the customer if property is not hygiene or customer having issue with the stay.

                                Dear Team,

                                I had made a booking on MakeMyTrip from Bangalore to Kodaikanal for 14 Apr 2022 at 11:00 PM which got canceled by the bus operator Sam Tourist and hence I had to book another bus immediately.

                                I'm still awaiting my refund. It's been more than 10 days and the status on the website is not updated. There is no way to reach customer care or mail MMT. Kindly request you to refund my amount of 4166/-.

                                  I had booked a flight ticket from Kalburgi to Bengaluru for the 25th of March, 2022, with booking ID: NF20YSC984ZNJHQ99815 in my name.
                                  However due to some unforeseen circumstances, I had to modify my booking. I contacted the MMT customer care for existing booking and the executive online assured me that the ticket is now open.
                                  Now, i wish to travel on the same open ticket and I'm unable to use this ticket because it's not reflecting in my app.
                                  I'm unable to reach the customer care which I believe is not user friendly at all.
                                  This is frustrating and it is cheating the gullible public.
