Respected Sir/Madam
People are using your platform to book tickets, hotels. On 13th April, 2022 I arrived at Delhi airport to board the Vancouver flight and at the check-in counter, I was informed that his ticket got cancelled automatically.
Please address the following and provide a relevant solution to all points:
1. Why you guys have not sent any update that his ticket is cancelled. Till 13th of April, on the portal it clearly mentioned that my ticket is confirmed! PFA the image with this Email for your reference. Isn't it troubling your customers for no reason?
2. After spending 1 hour with the customer care executive, a lame reason was received that the system marks you absent in subsequent flights when you miss any one flight in multi city travel. Why can't you people come forward and inform yourself to the customer, don't you think it will increase MMT's accountability?
3. People work hard and earn money, then think of enjoying their life by traveling to different cities. Such unexpected shocks are unbearable, unwelcomed and heavy on the pocket. It's only because you guys are not intimating anything on time, if one is choosing you as a travel partner, it's definitely your responsibility to make sure the person completes the trip and provide a relevant solution in case of any unpredictable issue.
4. I had to book a Flight on the Spot to reach home that cost me INR 181985 + CAD 591.09, additionally I booked a hotel for INR 3000. This is a huge expense that I paid on the spot just because of Makemytrip negligence! All these receipts are attached with this Email. Lufthansa Airlines Customer service blamed Makemytrip entirely for this mistake at the Airport!
I am highly disappointed with Makemytrip and will not choose you as our travel agents, going forward if this matter isn't solved!
Kindly refund the amount for the Delhi to Vancouver MMT ticket + Delhi to Toronto ticket bought on the spot for INR 181985 + CAD 591.09 for ticket from Toronto to Vancouver + INR 3000 for the hotel stay booked! Otherwise I will take this matter to the higher authorities.
