My mediassist claim id is ccn# 97740940
I filed this claim in january 2019. After several mail chains of document verification it was updated in the system that all documents are verified. Customer care said that all is done. Money shall be credited to the account provided at the time of claim.
This was done within 1 month.
After that the status went to "internal clarification ' mode.
And from last 4 months it is the same.
Whenever i call customer care. They say we have escalated this. You will get a response within 48 hrs. That never happens. I have called around 10+ times. Every time same reply. I have raised complains via mail. I get auto acknowledgement of the ticket. I get a complain id which says will be resolved but no resolution ever happened. I have around 10+ these complain ids with me (Latest being 7524745)
These guys also deleted my claim id from the system. So now ivrs system does not recognize my claim id. And also status in website and mobile is not available.
This is a serious case mediassist is trying to dodge of the claim and playing with customer sentiments.
I have names and recordings of customer interactions and also names of people who did document verification from the mail chain. Just that i dont want to put here.

I expect consumer forum to address this.

      Hi team,

      I have submitted my claim in month of may 2019 and claim i'd is 19639905.

      As per mediassist online application my claim has been approved for 35, 000 and reflecting in "processed ready for payment" stage from 29 may 2019 with timing 14:53:26 pm but till the date my claim has not settled and not received the claim. It's approx 40 days has been gone but claim is not settled.

      Why my claim is not settled?

      I have submitted all required documents to you and no any kind of document pending from my side. I have called to your customer care number many time but they always told me that your claim is under process please give me time of 24 - 48 hours and we call back to you with updated status but no any call has been received from your customer care.

      Request to you please release my claim asap as many days have been gone and as per your circular within 15 day you will clear the claim amount to concerning person.

        I have submitted my medical documents for claim purpose post hopitalization. I have submitted every single document they have asked. The claim got approved on 31 may 2019 itself. It's been 38 days after approval but till now i didn't received a single buck. I have been calling mediass ist company daily like a hobby but they are responding like i need to wait some more additional days. I don't understand how many days i need to wait. Medi assist customer supporters giving wrong email id's for diverting me. One of the worst insurance third party company i have ever seen. Mediassist is not at all a good company and with worst services. I sincerely recommende corporates to not to tie up with this worst company. Worst worst worst company (Medi assist).

          Initially, i went for cashless treatment, and it got a query was which was answered by doctor/hospital and by late evening it was denied. My mom was admitted one full day and took blood transfusion and endoscopy test.

          My claim was denied, mediassist came up with below reason

          I am paying insurance for 6 members family and am with mediassist with last 9 years. This is third time they deny my cashless/reimbursement request after being paid premium. This is not fair and not acceptable.

          Now at the end claim denied, in-spite of paying for this medical insurance for many many years for four people, this is what one get when the need arises. What a shameless act of deceiving people.

          In other side similar claim is approved by mediassist in 2016 for other person.

            cancellation of medical policy

            This is regarding insurance claim number : 98464316.
            Mediassist India is not respong even after 12 complaints after submitting originals through Wipro office claim box. I have submitted all originals and received acknowledgement from them. Several times called for clarification never answer. Looks like they are cheating customer.

                I have submitted the above claim on[protected]. The said claim was approved and credit was sent on[protected] for Rs.47197/- to my old Bank account which was closed subsequent to my retirement from Bank's service despite new and running account number was duly provided in the claim form. I was thereafter compelled to follow up vigorously with you directly as well as through my earstwhile employer and advocate also. Since there was no response from you I was compelled to approach Prime Minister's Grievances Cell and ultimately got the claim settled on[protected], almost after lapse of 20 months and 17 days. I therefore earnestly request you to pay interest on claim settled amount for 20 months and 17 days @ 12% p, a. plus legal expenses of Rs.2000/- incurred by me.

                      I have submitted the claim for reimbursement of the charges for the health check up against policy no. 310605/50/18/10000778 of national insurance for myself and my wife on 03.05.2019 for the amount of rs. 3000/- each. On enquiry from your surat office, where the claim papers are submitted, i understand that the claim is not processed yet.

                        They have all the cash paid receipts for which i have proofs and their customer care accepts the same still in claim history they are saying receipt not available and that is why processing for less amount.

                        I have raised many tickets i am not getting any reply.
                        Customer care puts on hold and then it disconnects from last 2- 3 times.

                        They never came back saying that receipt is not available once i called them but still in claim history they are saying this

                        There customer care says that the receipt is available with them and this has been escalated but i don't see any resolution.

                          Today 18th July 2019 at around 8.59pm I called call center, I was able to get connected to a person after 15 minutes of waiting period. the representative was not having patience to listen and respond to my query instead he disconnected my call without completing the conversation.

                          We are not provided with right mail to communicate in return.

                          Updating of documents through portal is adviced, after login I am not able to trace from where to upload the documents.

                          Mails bounce back.
                          Its a very bad experience to claim after getting treated in a hospital with insurance. I will sure write this to our management to review about your services.

                            I had put a claim for my right ear operation which was done on 19/04/2019.The cashless claim was settled with hospital by media Daisy tha.After thah I claimed for reimbursement for pre and post hospitalisation expenses of Rs.12576 through claim no.19570673.It was settled for Rs.9376/- on 17/06/2019.Mediassist Toa has not informed us about the deduction of Rs.3200/-in which regards and what to do about the deduction amount to reclaim?.

                              Said documents was submitted in the Tata Power, Trombay on 14th March 2019. After which we have received call on 21st may where Mr Nilesh said, "we want death summary, Adhaar card and cancel cheque. You can also email these documents as well".

                              It took almost 2 months to get the death certificate from Pune Munciple post which we called Tejashree on 28th May before sending these documents. She took the employee ID number and confirmed the above mentioned documents are pending. soon after that we emailed the pending documents. She gave us 15 days for reimbursement.

                              Today, Tajeshree is completely ignoring this case by saying there were NO DOCUMENTS were submitted and everyday we have to call her but NO positive response from her.

                              Mr. G S Bhingare, is the retired employee of Tata Power he has served the company with dedication and hard-work for 30+ years. He lost his wife Late Mrs. Asha G Bhingare within the 2 years after retirement and the way he is getting treatment has NO words to describe.

                              I would request you to please take this as an official complaint against Ms Tejashree for not doing her work appropriately and poor co-ordination to close this case.

                                I am been paying health premium for almost 20 years through group insurance through my office (ActionAid India) till January 2019 when i retired but i continued this as an individual policy without any break.

                                I was detected with cancer December 2017, and my medical bills were duly being cleared, from intravenous Chemo my doctor recommended oral chemo tabs and so there was no need for hospitalisation.

                                My claims for my medication Erlocip 150 mg which is my life saving drug was being reimbursed by Vidal and very recently Medi Assist which took over as third party.

                                Now after i moved into individual policy without a break from the group policy, the same Medi Assist which was paying my reimbursements forwarded my claim to National Insurance which just rejected the case with no valid explanation.

                                Erlocip is a life saving drug which i have to consume on a daily basis and it is expensive. It does not require hospitalisation and it does come under payable by the Insurance this i can validate as both Vidal as well as Medi Assist were reimbursing.

                                I find it strange that now as i am an individual policyholder my claim is rejected. I find this is inhuman given the fact that i have been holding the policy for over 20 years and have got my reimbursement.

                                I would like an explanation why this has happened and need to get my reimbursements. My life depends on this.

                                  I have followed up with media assist team for more than 10 days for my father's cashless claim approval.
                                  On reaching mediassist team via toll free contact number, they just put the call on hold stating, "Mam, please be on hold for a while as we are extracting your details".
                                  This "while" has no ending and the call gets disconnected by its own.
                                  Such a pathetic service.
