Initially, i went for cashless treatment, and it got a query was which was answered by doctor/hospital and by late evening it was denied. My mom was admitted one full day and took blood transfusion and endoscopy test.
My claim was denied, mediassist came up with below reason

I am paying insurance for 6 members family and am with mediassist with last 9 years. This is third time they deny my cashless/reimbursement request after being paid premium. This is not fair and not acceptable.
Now at the end claim denied, in-spite of paying for this medical insurance for many many years for four people, this is what one get when the need arises. What a shameless act of deceiving people.
In other side similar claim is approved by mediassist in 2016 for other person.
