I purchased a BLACKCHERRY BL7000 vide Ref # 283972. I purchased this after going through the features mentioned in their website and also in The Times of India. However, I understood I was duped when many of the features that they claim were false. For instance,
i) there is no provision for a USB port. They claimed to have this feature enabled in their advertisements in the newspapers, now possibly after receiving complains they advertise without this feature!
ii) both incoming and outgoing call gets disconnected 2 seconds after getting connected. iii) the helpdesk agents are not at all aware of the technicalities of the product and they advise to contact any local mobile shop and when I insist to speak to Manager, they give some lame excuse and place on hold for a long time forcing me to drop the call as it is an STD call for me.

I want them to replace the handset with a working one with all the features that they claimed earlier. Else, I want a refund of my money.

Naaptol BlackCherry BL7000 — Defective product

I purchased BlackCherry BL7000 from Naaptol few weeks ago. But I found that a defective product was delivered to me. I tried various ways to contact the company but without any result. The response that I get from the helpdesk is poor. They expect me to speak in Hindi. When I told them about the defective product, I was asked to take it to any mobile repair shop to get it repaired. When I insisted they give me some numbers which either do not exist or are the numbers which land up to the helpdesk. Finally, I got a call from Naaptol asking me to send the defective product to Naaptol through Blue Dart :

The Blue Dart Docket # [protected] dated 12-June-2010 is addressed to :

Tele-One Consumer Products (P) Ltd.,
Building # 173, Ajit Complex,
Shiv Market, Pitampura,
New Delhi - 110 034

They asked me not to pay as Naaptol would pay the courier charges on their Account number 113260. I was given a Case Reference # 15189 for future reference.

I have lost lot of money in making STD calls and also this has caused lot of inconvenience.

I have not received a single communication to any mails that I have sent to Naaptol till date.

Am I duped?

I need a response from any of the responsible officers immediately.

blackcherry - BL 7000 — USB Cable not received

Sir,

I have purchased a mobile hand set mentioned above and not checked the
contents immediately, due to not required except the hand set and user guide.
Then I found out that the USB cable was not sent along with other items sent
and so informed the same to one Mr. Isshant, of your customer care division.
He had promised to check up and arrange to send the same within three days.
But I have not received it so far. Plz take appropriate action in this matter.

I had purchased a Black cherry mobile BL 7000B, before 1 months from A T.V Add. After Purchasing When I inserted my sim and memory card, there are many faults like, memory card not supported on mobile, image captured failure, and sound Problem.     NAAPTOL — TCL HANDYCAM PURCHASED BUT NOT DELIVERED

    Respected sir,
    i place an order to naptol for TCL HANDYCAME dated 25/08/2009 and they deducted the amount from my credit cared and said product will deliver to your doorstep within seven days. after 15 days i called back to them again they said we will deliver product withing two three days so again i wait for two days and again i called them so at that time naptol said even we handled complain depatrtment we dont have vendor list. and even after that i did repeted call continuesly everyday since last 10th sept 2009 and so that i belive they do froad with me so kindly help me furthur even product tll date not deliver to me.

    NAAPTOL — The product which is delivered is different from the one which is there in the advertisement published in local news paper.

    (1) product is not worth for it's price as per market value....

    (2) customer has been misguided...

    NAAPTOL — F8 Mobile, Incorrect product delivery

    I have ordered F8 mobile through Naptol. order no. 1871402. When i received it i found it is not the one they have mentioned on their website and it not meet the specifications also. what i received is a stupid handset with useless battery, which can be bought for 2000 in local market but they have mentioned it as 9000 as the actual worth. its a complete blind wash. its upto the one who reads this message & take action.

      Different (Ugly) from as shown in picture. I can get much better product from local market for much cheaper price. Is there any way to complaint against naptol.com in consumer court???... For god sake dont use name naptol.. Its totally against this name.

      I have similar ( or worse ) experience with the 8GB Green Apple Music player. Complete dud -- total waste of money. I would advise naaptol to immediately remove this product from their lest more like us are not fooled; it would surely give a bad name for naaptol.

        Thanks for writing this complaint against naaptol for e3300 boss mobile... As i have got same experience.. My mobile is also not getting charged at all... Even after several complaints - complaint no 133476 & 133513.. I have still not got the battery replacement and also even though i paid thru credit card on 3rd may.. I have not yet got my free watch till today (4 june 2010)... Even after several requests on phone no. [protected]... They had delivered the mobile only on 21st may.. As the booklet suggested i waited till battery got fully switched off on 24th may and then put it to recharge for 3 hours as writen but it did not get charged at all so on 25th may morning i had complained with naaptol.. The executive told me to try the data cable to charge so tried that as well for 3 hours, still it did not get charged. Immidiately i informed naaptol about this and they confirmed to send me the replacement for battery (In 7 days on 25th may)... But... Even though its already 4th june today i have not got it... Its more than a month and i want my money back now... Pls nobody ever buy from naaptol.. Pls... My order number is 357843 - my mobile number is [protected]...

        CHEATING FRAUD NAAPTOL

        I order a Boss e330 mobile via NAAPTOL. My order No. is 430060. when i receive the mobile i opened it. But the mobile display it very damage. I asked customer care but there is no response. and they asked me a two thousand rupees. My Name is Pakraj. from tamilnadu. my mobile no is [protected]. So pls i asked dont buy this boss e3300 mobile. Its very fraud.
        Naaptol.com is Fraudant. I purchase Boss633 mobile. The Boss mobile customer care is same as of Naaptol. This suggest that both the companies are same under two different names.

        1. I realised that the product I received is missing accessories. I was also told that I will receive a free wrist watch if I pay using my credit card. I complaint about the same and my complaint number is 116388. I have not received anything till now inspite of repeated follow ups. I was also asked to pay for the accessories.
        2. The battery provided is a single battery along with phone. The battery backup is much low as promised or claimed in the product manual. I companied about the same on customer care number and also by email. No Resolution. They are denying replacing the battery. The product is under six month’s warranty.
        3. The customer care number of Boss Mobile, published on the website of Boss mobile [protected] (www.bossmobiles.com) connects me to the customer care of Naaptol.com. This suggests me that both the companies are same.
        4. The accessories claimed on the naaptol.com website as a free gift are standard accessories of the mobile which are also generally provided by other companies. Hence claiming them as a free gift along with mobile is itself a case of fraud and an attempt to misguide the customers.
        its been more than 20 days but no confirmation about money return yet from naaptol
        NAAPTOL IS NOT CO-OPERATING. JUST CALLED AGAIN AND ONE EXECUTIVE AGAIN SAID THAT THEIR SYSTEM IS SLOW SO SHE CAN NOT CONFIRM ANYTHING. SAME THING HAPPENED ON FRIDAY 25TH JUNE. TODAY BEING 28TH JUNE ITS ALMOST 2 MONTHS MY PAYMENT WENT ON 4TH MAY BUT STILL I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO EITHER USE THE PHONE NOR HAVE GOT MY MONEY BACK.

        I don't know how Times of India is releasing the ad nation wide of the fraud company. Naaptol's items are all fake and spurious. Citizen's should stop buying from these guys. Times Of India, please stop their ads.
        2 DAYS BACK I HAVE RECD A BATTERY AND A CHARGER, SO I TRIED TO CHARGE THAT BUT STILL ITS NOT CHARGING. INFACT NOW I GET ELECTRIC SHOCK TO HANDSET WHEN I CONNECT IT TO ELECTRICITY TO CHARGE IT. now this is even more serious as there is a safety hazzard also.

        I REQUEST YOU TO KINDLY PAY ME BACK THE MONEY I HAVE PAID AND TAKE BACK THIS HANDSET IN WHICH NO BATTERY IS GETTING CHARGED... i am not able to use this phone even though tomorrow it will be 2 months tomorrow that my payment has gone... please repay me fast.
        Naaptol is a company meant to lure customers with cheap products like mobile phones. I, by mistake, bought a Boss E-3300 mobile phone. It is such a lousy phone - Very user un-friendly, has to be charged every day, functions like blue tooth does not work, no operation manual available, no technical support available over phone etc. etc. I spoke to Naaptol about the blue tooth problem, they told me to send the phone to Mumbai for repair. Since I do not believe that the phone will be repaired and returned, I am not sending it.

        I would like to warn all not to buy anything from Naaptol ever.

        I am not an Indian, I'm from Africa. I'm only in India on training. I saw Naaptol advert in Times of India and I ordered for a product "Slim and Lift Under-garment". My order number is 574338. I called Naaptol office twice to tell them my size so that they can ship a correct order to me. To my surprise, I ordered for Medium (M) size and Naaptol shipped XXL size!!!.
        I called Naaptol to complain and I was asked to return the product via Blue Dart. I shipped back the product on Monday 26th July 2010, waybill number "[protected]". I have been monitoring my shipment and on Wednesday, I called Blue Dart to confirm that Naaptol has gotten the product. I also confirmed online that the product has been delivered to Naaptol.
        To my amazement, Naaptol has been denying that they received the product. What else do they want me to do.
        NAAPTOL has collected my money, their product and I have not received anything.
        This company is a cheat...they are out there to milk people of there money and resources.
        I would be leaving India for my country next week..and there is no guaranty that I will receive the product I have paid for in Naaptol. This is so UNFAIR...
        All I can say is companies like Naaptol is not suppose to exist let alone do business.
        NAAPTOL IS A BIG CHEAT!!!

          Hi,
          I placed a order no 631748 on 04.08.2010, for product name. Imedia G2, Vendor- Meditech India Distribution Pvt Ltd., i made a payment by cash.

          I received the order on 12.08.2010, i register the complaint as Defective order on the date 13.08.2010. i sent the same order back on the same date as per the instructions given to me.

          Again i received the new package on 03.09.2010 which was already opened hence not accepted by me for the same, i register the complain on the same date and ask CCE to refund me the amount now as i am not in mood any more to receive the order.

          For refund i had given more then 26 calls, which has been always answered that my amount is process and will be decided by account department, on again and again instructions given by me and made it clear that i need a refund not a replacement, they want to send me a replacement only.

          Now i want to make this clear that i need my full amount refund ASAP, other wise in fail of doing the same after 15 working days by the company i will move to consumer form and take what ever mean and action's are necessary now.

          i would like to file a complaint against Naaptol, regarding

          1. Fraud
          2. Forcefully trying to sell me product
          3. Not refunding money in 3 months
          4. Not attending calls
          5. Abuseive call received by me on the same.
          6. Threat that i have too buy it either its defective or not.

              In their terms & condition, it's mentioned that, item will be delivered in 7-10 days.
              But after 9 days, my item is not shipped at all. Repeated calls (chargeable ISD) to their customer service has no benefit at all. Already spent hundreds of rupees on calls & multiple e-mails has no +ve results. Customer care just lies to the customers. They are instructed to give just false commitments to the customers.
              This company is just behind the buyers' money & don't deliver the product.
              If by mistake they deliver the product, it's always a fake/duplicate of the original.
              It's a nationwide scam & surprisingly, govt has turned blind eye on such big scams.

                I ordered the smart phone 8502 vide order no: 167761 on 07/02/2010 and received the consignment on 19/02/2010 without 2 batteries and one phone string. On the same day (19/02/2010) i launched a complaint vide complaint no: 48183. Every time on inquiry i get a stereo typed reply that the matter has been escalated and that it would be attended to within 7 to 10 working days. It is now more than 3 months and i am still in the same position and unable to use the phone. I have already spent more than rs. 100/- by making phone calls to them. Now a days my emails are also not replied.
                Best of all they used to proudly advertise in various dailies claiming that they give best service & quality product.
                Because of naaptol's attitude i am scared to transact with any of the products advertised in the newspapers like times of india and others.
                They not only spoil their name but also spoil the names of other newspapers in which people have trust.
                In this connection the newspapers should also keep in mind their reputation they have created with the public while dealing with such advertisements (Naaptol).
                I hope they do not treat others the same way. Hoping to hear from naaptol at least during my life time.

                  Subject : defective piece supplied of boss ephone 3300 vide order no : 422688 dated 25/5/2010

                  I had booked an ephone of boss company model ephone 3300 online. i was supplied a package on 26/5/2010 for which i had paid rs 3999 + rs 200, total rs 4200 for this packet. following serious complaints were found when i opened the packet. this is to inform you that i have been supplied a fully defective piece of ephone 3300 vide order no 422688.

                  Below are the serious complaints for this phone and it had been already brought to the notice of your customer care executive mr jitendra on dated 26/5/2010.

                  1. phone is showing the error message about the battery only within few minutes of charging and even after keeping it for long time the battery is not getting charged even 25% of the total.

                  2. the guarantee card received in the packet shows the date of purchase of jan 2010. while i have purchased this phone on 25/5/2010 and was delivered to me on 26/5/2010. it clearly shows that the phone you have supplied me is 5 months old purchase for which guarantee period will be expired within one month of my purchase.

                  3. as defined as an ephone, none of the internet based functions are working.

                  4. as defined as a dual phone, the second sim card slot is not working at all.

                  This is a very serious matter as we paid the full value of our product and we got a defective piece.

                  We now request you to refund us the full amount of the product or we will be force to take serious legal actions to recover the amount we paid for our product.

                  If we do not get our refund back or any reply in writing within the period of 2 days, we will be forced to go for complaint with consumer protection councill and will not responsible for any consequencies there after.

                    I am big foolish that i could have searched complanst agaist naaptol before odering any products. It seems, this is bogus scam company and allclints are cheated onror other way. Elctronic products supplied by hydrabad based nonstandard delear and no phones being receinved. My irsder no 392239, dat e 15/05/2010 for oxygen ipod, but i received faulty and assembled green ipod with faluty buttons and dummy type model. When i called, they said, you send it to hydrabad, they will send new. Sir, are we foolish? First we sent 100% payment, than they sent faulty and wrong unit, now again they wnat safety and asking unit back. I wrte a mail and told them to send my original unit than only i will send this back to you. I am complaning this to cbi new delhi agaisnt this fraud company and also all consumer protection units. There is definetly bigest scam of the decade and unfortunetly so many good new paper being sponsered their advertise. That is een more apinful.

                      I think I am going to go crazy with you guys. What the hell is the problem? Just when I thought that I will be getting my money, you guys mess it up all again. Why the hell are you sending my package again to me. This is absolutely ridiculous. One simple thing, let me repeat it again, one simple thing, you got the package from me, just send me my money. Doesn't that sound simply. In spite of calling you guys right since the month of April and that is before April 12th, informing you guys always that I want my money refunded, you are still sending my package. I guess you are a kind of a company who likes to annoy customers which is not good for you. I hope you take my advice.

                      Now, since I have been calling, sending a complaint right since April, I don't think I should have to go through any problems anymore, but still you send me a message (SMS) on the 18th of May that you are sending me a replacement. I still don't understand why you were sending me a replacement, but I was still patient and called back on the 18th of May at approx 10:45 am and had to explain all the stuff that I have been telling you guys from more than a month now once again since you guys do not keep a record of previous calls. Now, obviously the guy i spoke to did not understand and gave me his own jazz so then I asked him to speak with Rashmi who is supposedly a Manager at your call center. After speaking with Rashmi he tells me that he has sent a request to a concerned department and I will get my money back in 15 working days. Obviously, that did not happen because I received a message (SMS) again on the 19th stating that my package is ready for re-shipping. Like a very patient customer I called once again on the 19th of May at 4:00 pm and spoke with Vijay and had to explain to him everything once again. He said that the system is updating and does not have any information and asked me call back again.

                      I call back again on the 20th of May and spoke with Arokiadas at 1:18 pm and explained to him everything again. He also told me the same thing that my order is being re-shipped. When I ask to speak with a Rashmi, I was told that she was not available and was told that she was call back after an hour or so. Well the 20th has passed and I have not received a call. Well this is not the first time this is happening.

                      I get a call today from Naaptol stating that my order is being re-shipped. And now, I have to refuse the package that you have sent which will go back to you and then I have to go through the entire process once again. You seriously wouldn't want to know what I am feeling right now because all the bull [censored] i have gone through from your company. Always patient, still this kind of treatment. Your supervisors are so irresponsible, not even a single call. This is absolutely unacceptable. I am pretty sure that you are not aware of the term FCR, which is basically a first call resolution. But here I sure have no ides how many calls I have made to this company for one simple request. A refund is all I am asking for which is my money not yours. I'm asking for something which belongs to me and still you guys cannot manage this.

                      I will sure want to check if there is a law for harassing a customer like this.

                      mobile phone — hopeless service from naaptol

                      I purchased mobile phone through naaptol brand name : A1 Lephone worth Rs.4000.00. Customer code no. 321312. I booked the order through phone with customer support people. and received the phone through courier on 26th April 2010. (One day here or there approx). and after using for one day I had realised that my phone battary did not work for even 20-30 minitus even after charging for 4-5 hrs.
                      I booked a complaint in naaptol through phone on 28th april2010. and they promised to send me new battary within 7-10 days. but till now i did not receive any SMS or feedback or even my battary. Its almost one month now. I have repeatedly booked my complaint for every 7-10 days. but there is no response. Please help me.

                          On 23rd March 2010 , Naaptol advertised in a leading Newspaper, for a 16 GB Pen Drive + Voice Recorder ( Spy Pen Video camera ). In the Ad they offered 50% CASH BACK ,Get assured naaptol cash voucher.I ordered for it the same day and in about a week time I got it and paid Rs. 1599/- + Rs. 150/- Shipping charges. The cash back voucher was not in the packing. I contacted naaptol & was told I will get it within a week. After that I have mde several calls at the consumer care number & Emails . Most of the time I am told that server is down. some time the rep say he is not able to listen the voice.About four times I have been able to talk to the Rep. but the cash voucher has not been issued till today 20th May, 2010.The Consumer Care number of Naaptol is out station mobile number & not toll free & have no facility to call back so once you have purchased a product you be prepared for extra expenses & problem.

                            i recently bought the boss ephone 3300from your portal vide order no 282478.my experience has not been pleasant.first of all none of the indian telco service providers have compatible gprs/wap setting for this phone. so its meaningless to call it an ephone. secondly you guys sent me a phone with phone lock code different from what was mentioned in the user manual and upon calling your customer care , they had no clue and instead asked me to go to a mobile shop.and lastly, for any ephone supporting pcsuite is a must which is not available for this phone rendering this phone useless.

                              I had placed an order (order no.256959) for a spy pen camera on 28.03.2010 and the same has been delivered to me on 06.04.2010 at around 03:30 pm. i have paid a cash amount of rs1749.00 on account of the same to the delivery boy.

                              The product that i have received was a defected one i. e. button over the pen cap is not functioning and there was no user manual guide. the box in which the product was delivered was also found broken.

                              After numerous attempts, i could spoke to the naaptol customer care executive and i have been told to courier the damaged piece to the below mentioned address:

                              I had then couroiered the same by overnite express courier and recieved the delivery reciept from courier company and naaptol as well. the complaint no. allotted for the same was 69005.

                              But after that i have called them over 100 times with n no. of emails but there is no response on this.

                              They have cheated on many of fellow indians.

                                I have been contacting naaptol customer service about 20 to 30 times regarding a refund which i was promised. I have all the recorded conversations which will support what i am saying above. I was asked to return the product to get a refund which i did. I returned the product that i received in order # 239054 on the 10th of april 2010 which was received at your store at r. K. Enterprises, kurla (W) on the 12th of april (The package was delivered by professional couriers).

                                It's been over a month that i have not recieved my cheque. Still, since it is my money, i have been contacting every now and then to the customer service and speaking with a manager rashmi. Initially, she did try to help me, i did whatever she asked me to, i gave her all the help she needed to get my refund peacefully and patiently. But now, it looks like i have been made a fool again. I have been calling for more than a week now and trying to speak with the same manager, and i am always told that i will get a call back within 2 hours, but obviously i do not get a reply at all. I am wasting my money, energy, time calling you guys for something which should have been taken care off long time ago. At this point i am totally agitated and i guess the only option i have is to go the consumer court.

                                I have enough proof that i have been conned by your company not once but twice. I'm sure there are no notes in your systems that at the time of ordering, i was offered a free product and later was being charged. This is what you guys do to run your business, offer customers free products and then charge them. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have never done business with a company like your. I have all the recorded conversations i had with the customer service agents and the manager which clearly mentions that i am suppose to get my money refunded. This is my hard earned money and i will not let you guys take it away. For you it might be a small amount but now i'll make sure that i also get some kind of compensation from you guys for all the trouble i have been through.

                                To top it all, whenever i call, i am always told that there are no notes about my previous conversation wherein i have specifically asked agents to make notes of the details. I know i was asked to send a copy of the delivery receipt for the delivered package to your store, but i had called last week informing that i do not have the details with me and had asked your customer service to contact me the store to confirm the product delivery.

                                Now, i have given hopes and i know what i need to do to get my money. Inspite of co-operating and after doing all what was asked, i don't think this is the way a customer is supposed to be treated.

                                  I buy e71 pro + free maxis jazz 4gb mp4 player from naaptol.com through phone booking and my order no is 330630 and dated april 23, 1010. I got the product on april 27, 2010 and when i start to use it, i found that the product is defective and than next day i lodge my complain to naaptol support @ mumbai and they said the product is company defective and we will exchange it with new product and they given me mumbai address (Maxis technologies, d/201, bonaza industries, ashok road, kandivali (East), mumbai - 400 101 india) where i return my product by maruti courier and they delivered it and i got confirmation from maruti courier kandiwali, mumbai. When i called at naaptol on may 1st they said they didn't received the product yet and when i told them that courier is already delivered there but they said you will received your product with 10 days and if you will not receive it than we will refund your money back. Still i am waiting for refund.

                                  we also have a problem with mini salai machine which is not working properly and i sended mails to naaptol customercare but there is no responce so i say to all costumers that dont buy anything from naaptol.com it's horrible
                                  we also have a problem with a product called mini salai machine we had many times complained to naaptol customercare but there is no response to us so i say that dont buy any product from naaptol .com
                                  i buy one mini silai machine first two days only it's working but third day it's not working.

                                    i can tell you that naptol it is fraud net shop center if you order for a particular product you will not get the same product the delivery man get foll amount from you and hand over the product to you. when you will open the product you will get the different product this happened with me. i am complain for the last 20 days but no response

                                      I am the costumer of naaptol. I have a mobile handset i.e, I6 Pro . company gave me some gifts but all are useless. They are not working .on complaining in costmer care or company they did'nt say any thing about it. The battries of mobile are so worst. while charging it fully it can work only for 2 hours . on complaining for battry they did'nt react. They totally doing fraud from there costumers in all products.

                                        The advertisers Guild is also watching silently. Let all o[censored]s take steps and discourage such advertisements and purchase of products through mass mailings, online sales, internet sales.

                                        Do you know in some products even Banks are also involved who promoted sales by Mailers.

                                        Particularly this NAAPTOL
                                        1 No toll free number
                                        2 out station STD number .. hold for long ...each time explain to representative get a reply which they will never do
                                        3 Policy is to tire out the customer.. or if possible further harras / irritate him.
                                        4 The owner / diretors seem to be a bunch of cheats who have trained their customer care people to speak lies .

                                        It will be a nice Idea to form a forum of customers cheated by Naaptol & approach the MRTP Commission
