I have applied a TAN application online dated 18.02.17 vide acknowledgement no.[protected]. I have also sent all required documents via Speed post that was received by NSDL, Pune on 22.02.17. But till date while tracking status it comes that documents has not been received. Details of Application status on NSDL. Your PAN application is rejected by Income Tax Department (ITD) as UID (Aadhaar) number mentioned in the application is already exist to another PAN. Kindly confirm with Income Tax Office, whether you have already allotted PAN. You may also reach at [email protected]

I got automated response that Aadhar card was not matching with details entered.
I entered exactly the same, How is that possible?
Now it says Your e-KYC based request has failed hence you cannot proceed the application with e-KYC mode. Kindly generate new token and proceed with physical mode. Kindly note that you will get refund of the PAN application in next seven working days. Can you refund immediately/reset application status to try again?
