Today evening around 8:30pm in chennai, i booked an ola micro to take me from one end of the city to another (Total distance around 20kms). As soon as i boarded the cab, the driver said something which totally shocked me and something i have never heard a cab driver ever say to me before - he asked me "why did you book micro for 20km long ride sir??? Don't you have the self-conscience to book a sedan or prime for such long distance?" i got angry and told him it is my right as a customer to decide which service i want and i will naturally only choose the most economical and comfortable one he offers me. He said "sir you are only concerned about your pocket...But don't you know that our pockets are getting burnt because of your frugality???" i didn't understand what he was trying to say, he then told me "if you book a micro, then ola will only pay me a very meagre amount as commission when compared to booking a mini or sedan, so that you and ola can profit but in the process drivers like us are getting hurt...And especially you look like an it professional so you must be able to afford a mini or sedan!!!" i got furious and we both exchanged verbal fights for a while before his vehicle suffered a breakdown. I walked out of the cab, boarded a bus to get to my home & have decided to uninstall ola app from my phone & switch to fasttrack who have always been very friendly and respectful towards customers like me, even though they do charge higher rates.

    Yesterday we booked cab from this phone no [protected], drop was to krishna raj puram, he dropped my uncle in mid way and payed the amount, again he paid extra amount to get drop to home, very rude and bad behaviour, my uncle is new to city, doesn't know language and he got cheated, totally he charged 537 Rs. He was 1st dropped at hebal bridge, then my uncle called my dad he requested to drop home and then he paid 300 extra to get back home. Very unhappy.

      I had taken an ola cab from some where at petrol pump situated at 7 block, near christ university, banglore on 04/05/2016 to banglore airport. The ola cab was booked from mobile no. [protected]. The ola taxi number is ka05af2978, ritz and crn was[protected]. The driver name is maruthi a and his mobile is [protected]. The fare was charged of rs.2750/- which was almost 4 times to normal fare. It is unfair trade practice and it cannot be done as per norms set up for taxis. I do not know whether it is charged by ola or by driver. However it is unfair, illegal and culprits may be dragged in the court of law. I request that a strict action may be taken against wrong doer and excessive charges shall be returned with compensation.

        I have recentily used service of ola many times, service was not good, very bad no driver knows the route .I can't blame them because you people didn't provide them the 3G service for map.so i faced a big issue with this and one more thing when i give the drop location am not getting the exact place, getting like nearest place to that.So kindly tel the cab drivers to drop in exact place.They are even arguing with us.and last thing is Ola share is more helpful .Thanks for creating an innovative idea for saving our money

          I was upgraded fm mini to prime in 1stmay fm panvel to mulund n charged 2times more the money for dis ride.While goin fm mulund to panvel it was 421rs in micro but after upgrade they charged me 1039rs...Which i found too high.Wud .Kindly request refund the excess money fm ola cab

            How ridiculous experience i had with OLA last evening. I bboked an Ola mini and a Quanto came the driver name is M Kumar. He started arguing with me and shouted at me and refused to drop me at my house inspite of being 10pm at night and I being an alone girl. Nextly he charged me 589 which is a Prime charge when I had booked ola mini how can ola charge prime to the customers???

              Ola share company is charging Rs. 36 per passenger for toll charges at Sealink toll . There be three pessangers . There for they collect toll of Rs .108, whereas ola pays only Rs 60 .

              They are fooling people and also fooling government for not paying the collected tax .

              Also many times, they directing ola share taxis to different route of non toll road, whereas they have collected toll of Rs. 36 per passengers .

              Ride Tue May 3 10.06 AM, Driver Appaji Mane, White Indigo, charged Rs. 368 still said that the route is non toll road .

                On 3rd April 2016, I booked an Ola Cab from my mobile app for dropping a close relation from Fraser Town Bangalore to Bangalore Airport. I was present at the time of boarding the passenger into the taxi (Indica with driver Riyaz Mohammed) and it was clearly mentioned that the payment for the ride would be in cash.

                I had a SMS from OLA that the amount had been debitted from my Ola Wallet - CRN[protected]. Since I could not contact my relation immediately, I kept the feedback on the driver pending.

                After ascertaining that the passenger had paid the driver in cash, I put in a feedback of single star rating and also stated that the driver had cheated by accepting payment in cash and deducting from the wallet. Normally Ola will immediately query about reasons for single star rating - I did not hear from them.

                When I returned to my home town Chennai on 29.04.16, I lodged a complaint regarding the same. However Ola management (Ms. S. Radha) informed that Your request (Ticket 4731637) has been resolved. as per following message

                I queried OLA as to how they arrive at the conclusion “As per our investigation, we found that the driver did not collect cash of Rs 749/- from you”.

                Also whether there were any earlier complaints against the said driver and that I was not informed about complaint resolving procedure within 15 days

                  Hello,

                  I would like to report an incident where OLA Cab charge something called "Peak Pricing 2x".

                  I have traveled on 04/05/2016 during night time time around 8:00PM from Terminal 2 (Mumbai) to my Place Miraroad distance for total journey comes to 17.12 Km.

                  They have charged me "Peak Pricing 2x" which is like charging double. Since Driver did not inform me at start of the journey so I assumed it's routine fare but when I reached my destination he told me about this.

                  I spoke to OLA Customer care and they replied me with this concept. I am really upset about this concept as It's clear case of creating Artificial demand and mispricing. It's like Cab is available but they will not send them unless you pay them double.

                  They should clearly define this at start of the journey and also, when they publicly advertise their service that we are also doing such practice of cheating people. Just like they do when they came up with OLA Micro cab service where they claim they charge 6/KM.

                  Hi the ola vechile no TN 22 DB 2193 had dashed my honda city and the driver has promised to pay the damaged bill of my vechile and he took my account no to put the cash and now his is not acting my call to kindly provide me the drive details

                  This has happened on 29.4.16.I hired ola cab from Pawai to Thane at 3pm.The fare was Rs 723/- This was cheating as the regular fare was Rs.250 /-only and they charged Rs.450/- as peak hour charges.
                  The driver was arrogent and didnot leave the passanger unless paid in full.

                    The distance of which is showing in google map 7.6 km but the ola co. charged for 13.52 km which is basically a fraud activity and looting the customer my mis presentation of facts.

                      Sir,

                      I had booked ola cab vide booking id crn[protected] for[protected] at 05.00.00 am to board the train. Booking was made on 03/04/2016. At 4:50am recd. Message from ola about not availability of cab. On contacting customer care we were informed abount non-availability of cab and to book from other providers. We were going out of station and had to board the bus from isbt. We coudnt manage to get alternate cab. This has put us in tremendous hardship.

                      Who will take the responsibility. At least you should have informed well before time so that we could have made alternate arrangements.

                      Being a regular ola customer i was very much disappointed with the services of ola.

Booked another cab immediately but again driver cancelled the booking total four booking were cancelled because of which I missed my train ... Ola in Chennai is most horrible cab service provider

                        Within 4 mins, i received this message: ola! Your cab has arrived on time. Hop on to have an awesome experience with this ride!

                        When actually, he didn't. I called him up and he said he'd be here in 5 mins. I called him up after 5 mins, he asked for 5 more mins. I called him again, he asked for 2 more. I called him again, he said he's right around the corner. I called him again, 'phone not reachable'.

                        Then i got this message:
                        Ola! Sorry, driver canceled your booking crn[protected] after waiting for your pickup longer than max wait time. Please use the app to book again m.Ola.Bz/ticket

                        Unacceptable. You're losing my trust, ola.

                          Say ola to your driver ramesh ([protected]) for crn[protected]. Indica ka32b8215 to pick you up @ 11:13 am, 03 may. 1.6 times peak time charge is applicable on this booking.
                          Upon boarding the driver asked me to pay by cash and not ola money. I agreed. While driving, he was on phone most of the time and drove with a speed...

                            I have always been a uber user since it launch operations in india, but then as mr. Ratan tata invested in ola cabs, i thought lets give it a try.


                            29th april, 2016:

                            Journey of around 20 k.M in ahmedabad was to be made.

                            I was getting late, but just because of mr. Ratan tata (I downloaded ola cab app on 2g speed)

                            I quickly charged my ola wallet with 300 inr, booked a ride, waited for around 15 minutes calling the driver again and again, but then he eventually pickups the phone and says "nahi jaayega...Cancel kardo", i was in hurry, and uber came to rescue, reached just on time, awesome uber experience as always.

                            I decided, i would not rely or book ola again in future.

                            2nd may, 2016:

                            I thought lets book ola instead o[censored]ber (As i had 300 inr in ola wallet), booked my ride at 2:42 p.M (Ahmedabad was heating at 43 degree), i had to wait outside in scorching heat, as i thought driver will show up.

                            After 8 minutes called the driver,
                            Jaimin bhavsar (Driver): hello

                            Me: hello, aap aa rahe hain?

                            J.B: nahi, me nahi aa raha, cancel jo kardi aapne?

                            Me: confused, maine cancel nahi kiya, aapko nahi aana kya?

                            J.B: nahi aana.

                            Me: ok, maine complain kar deta hu ola me.

                            J.B: abhi ka abhi complain kardo, ek minute be deri mat karna.

                            Disconnected.

                            I was like, yeh kya ho raha hain? Already was waiting in heat and this making me feel more heat.

                            Am i the black listed customer of ola or what? Both bookings cancelled in span of 3 days.

                            Again, uber came to rescue.

                            Called customer executive of ola.

                            And came to know that, there is no way, i can transfer my wallet money to my bank.

                            This is how they are. I have also had worst experience of my life with ola. We should stop using it

                              Dear All,

                              I have got nice experience from OLA cabs, such a good system but no control. Drivers are avoiding trips. They want us to communicate to the destinations where they can get return trips. For me more than ten times it has happended. Now i decided and uninstalled the app.
                              To share it online. i have booked a cab in the night by 08-40 pm driver didnt responded, i have called him and seems he is just in my next street. After 5 minutes again i called him and he told that i am nearing you. And inquired about drop point. Sudenly he is passing by me without stoping the cab.And i again called him sir. I could not find you, I told him you have just crossed me two minutes ago. With in that time he passes away 500 meters. And asking me to cancel and rebook again. I have done it as per his advice. Again new cab booked i have called the driver and he inquired everthing and without my knowedge he send another cab no. Again the new cab driver doesnt attend the call. Finally i booked thrid cab 9.00pm he asked the locations and droping point. Just informed that he will be there in 2 minutes. After that he is not picking the call for more than 20 minutes. Even the distance i am going to travel would be 20 km only. From KK NAGAR TO AVADI. But those drivers wantedly making such a horrible things. Which means they dont want any trips to customers destinations. Every time i ola i experience the same. All the three bookings were confirmed and they have raised bills for Rs.102/- i havent paid them nothing has happended but i got sms and statement from OLA that i have travelled with cab. Such a type of behaivoir and service rendered by OLA -Horrible. The moment i booked a cab in fast track by 09.30pm which is slighlty expensive but got the cab by 09.40pm itself without any hassle, Then i checked the same with the cab driver and known that to complete no of trips and get some benefits they are doing such a thing in OLA. I have exeprienced the same more than twice with OLA. Price also high in the peak hours. from 1.6 to 2.5 times. Running charges of Rs.1 per minute. See we have to pay for the distance to be travelled along with per minute Rs.1/-, For Example kk nagar to avadi will cost Rs.360 normally in OLA in peak time Rs.480-780 depends upon OLA demands. But in fast track it will be always Rs.400-440 only. Imeediate cabs no drop point issues anywhere anytime. We may trust FAST TRACK cabs in chennai slightly expensive but good service. And another concern the OLA cabs will look very good in outer but internally poor maintenance. Drivers are rash and negligent. Stupid services please avoid such companies even they give rebates.

                              My wife and son travelled by OLA cabs vechile from Tambaram Railway Station to Kazhipattur Ocean Breez Residency on 24.04.2016 at 14.30hrs. After ended their journey the driver asked Rs 895. Our Family members had very shocked and was asking the details. But driver told that was peak time rate and his aim to collect the money only. We are regular customer to OLA. Many times booked OLA cars from Tambaram Railway station and paid nearly 400 only for 26 Kms.At that time I was in Hydrabad for official work. After returned to chennai, my family members were very worried. They told me in future OLA cabs are not suit for travel. Plz take my complaint with seriously and to correct this wrong attitude.

                                Hi Team,
                                This is a very serious matter which should be looked into as soon as possible.
                                Today morning(3th May 2016), me and my friend(both girls) booked the cab from Pimple saudagar. Pune to Hinjewadi, Pune. As soon as the cab arrived, looking at the condition of the cab, we confirmed from the cab driver, if the AC of the cab was working. He said yes and then we started off. He lied about this fact and when we told him that we would be giving feedback about this to your company, he got furious, stopped the car on middle of the road and started threatning us saying, get out of my cab right now. Pay me the fair upto this place and don't dare to complain, otherwise i know your location details. I stay in the same place pimple saudagar, would then come to your place and then you see. He literally came outside the cab and opened our doors, and scared us to hell to get out of his cab. Is this the way you react to your customers?                                 Very poor service. Such drivers should be removed immediately.
                                Please take an action soon guys. I can see very few cases have been marked resolved. But i want this one to be resolved soon.
                                This is ridiculous. How can someone behave like this? Please take care; it really becomes difficult to trust cab drivers.
                                This is just not done. I seriously have to think twice before using ola again.
                                Very rude and unprofessional behavior. Severe action should be taken immediately and effectively against those drivers.
                                I have faced the similar issue in the past but Ola is not doing anything for this, This is very neglecting behaviour from ola, Suspend the driver ASAP .
                                OLA should at least be bothered to have a basic background check of their cab drivers and should blacklist the non compliant.
                                This kind of behavior is NEVER expected from a well behaved chauffeur, but Hooligan.
                                Please punish that cab driver... if Oal Team is not taking action against him then, I appeal to all stop using ola services.
                                Hi this is very concerning, the ola team should take immediate action. Such kind of threatening behavior is completely unacceptable.
                                This is totally unacceptable behaviour!! OLA really need to check this and bar such drivers!
                                I had similar experience while going from Orion mall, Bangalore. We just had an awful smell, so I asked the driver what smell it is ? He said there is no smell, because he is not getting any, and he is not putting cotton over his nose( ??). Then he started saying we should get out of the cab. I told him, we cannot get out like that and for his behaviour I would complain to Ola. He said "you can complain whoever you want to, I don't care, this is my personal car, you get out"
                                Is this the way you react to your customers? Such drivers should be removed from job right there right now. Everyone should be careful,

                                  I have travelled on the 29th from Godbunder road to kurla using a Ola cab. I had booked a mini vehicle through my app but was billed for a prime vehicle. I sent a complaint when i was asked to post my review on the ride through my app. I did not not received any feedback from the company.
                                  I have gone o the company website and tried calling their telephone lines but i have not received any response from them as nobody seem to take the line which is very frustrating.
                                  I want the excess money refunded to me imediately.

                                    I have had 4 very worst experiences with ola, 2 of them are relating to ola money.
                                    1. I had to travel to jp nagar from mg road in bangalore, the driver denied duty and no explanation was given to me by ola
                                    2. I had to travel to another location in chennai. The driver's phone conked and when we contacted ola call center i was asked to pay by cash despite having enough balance in ola money. This sounded utterly ridiculous
                                    3. Driver denied duty since he had to travel inside the mall and pick me up. While 100s of cab drivers (A lot from ola) don't have an issue travelling inside the mall and picking customers up, why is this driver denying? I am anyways going to pay for any extra km
                                    4. I have had atleast 2 drivers denying duty just because i was paying by ola money. Why are the drivers really bothered how i am paying the money? What is the trouble between the drivers and ola that i am not able to pay by ola money? This is such an unpleasant experience for me.

                                    I am planning to exhaust my ola money (God knows if can use it all since almost all the drivers are denying duty if i am paying by ola money) and i am going to unistall the app for good and never going to install it again. There are umpteen number of cab service providers in the city who can provide a better service.
                                    My had booked a taxi and she got message 2.7 surcharges, as we are new to ola service we had no clue about it also the message you sent does no specify clearly what exactly 2. 7 charges we really felt we were cheated I am planning to approach the consumer court because your messages are not clear and user friendly

                                      Dear Ola,

                                      I stopped taking Ola cabs for quite a long time, today i tried again and the driver cheated me fully, For a 27.28 km ride how much time it will take to reach the destination that to in a outskirts ride, please check your records when driver has started and when he has reached the destination.
                                      1.) I booked a cab means up to my will i can perform the journey but the driver has diconnected the ride in between,
                                      2.) i booked the cab and reached the destination by 30 min and asked the cab driver to wait for 10 min and i will come back to continue the ride and i came back with in the time but he was busy talking in some phone call after his phone call i asked him to continue the ride but he disconnected the ride by saying if he take more rides he will get more money, then i shouted and he quarreled with me, how he can cancel the ride without my permission that to after some 30 minutes of wait time, In order to earn more money by taking more rides they are converting single ride into multiple rides and customer is losing hefty some of money
                                      3.) Again i tried to book return journey due to signal problem i am unable to book return journey through my app and i booked the same through my friend mobile app the return journey costed me 335 Rs and the driver and cab are same. i am unable to understand while going i charged Rs 284 which itself more and that to lot of waiting time charges and why my return journey costed me RS 335 so for a 27.28 km journey which seems to be a blunder because the driver has taken the longest route instead of taking the route via beach road the same will be 22 km.

                                      4.) so for a 44km ( up and down ) ride you charged me Rs 619 i .e approx Rs 14 per km but you are claiming you charged Rs 6 per km by giving advertisements

                                      5.) please take serious action against the driver i think already 3 other customer s has already given complaint against him i came to know when he was saying the same thing in phone to other person in the call, but you have not taken any action and he was cheating the customers continously. you have to sack him from the job immediately, in order to earn more money taking the longest routes and converting single ride in to multiple rides and behaving unprofessional with customers by scaring them . this driver is looking like a pucca criminal if any unforeseen event happen in future you will definetly loose your brand image and now i decided to not to hire ola cab any more.

                                      6.) you are requested to refund back my money which you have taken illegally by chargeing around 14 rs per km and take strict action against driver immediately .
                                      7.) i raised this complaint with OLA cabs 5 days back and no body responded from the company side. The drivers in ola cabs are worst and this is happening due to hire procedures of ola cabs. i think there will be a serious security threat for people riding in ola cabs because after complaining by so many people also company is not responding properly. So my suggestion is to not take any ride in ola for security reasons.
